    McCallum Highlands is a great place to live. It has to do with the staff. The staff are professional, efficient, resident focused, and accommodating when experiencing difficulties and are willing to work with residents. Best office staff I have dealt with hands down.Maintenance staff are friendly knowledgeable and very efficient with great professionalism and gets things done quickly.I highly recommend this property to make your home.

    I’ve been loving it so far after month 1. The maintenance guy is super helpful and quick. Our apartment is in a great location where we have parking all around. We were happy to get a 2 bedroom (those are rare to open up). Love the layout. No bug problem. Only negative is they put up these blackout shades and it’s really hard to get natural light.Update: had an amazing year. I moved out since I bought a home. We loved living here. Tracy and Gloria are wonderful property managers. They are attentive and caring. They threw great parties to build community. The pool renovations were beautiful.

    I lived at McCallum Highlands for almost 2 years. I found the staff very helpful, friendly and responsive, the complex nicely quiet, and very much enjoyed my time there.

    McCallum Highlands until recently was a adult apartment community I’ve noticed about 4 or 5 kids but their good ones. It’s very quite I think the most noise I’ve heard was the residents music in cars including mine but only heard if you’re outside. everyone seems to be very happy with the way the apartments are maintained by the maintenance staff. I lived here 25 years ago and three of our maintenance men were here then. The apartments are small in square footage. Perfect for college students couples and singles. I’ve enjoyed living here twice is gated community but the entrance is open during business hours. During the winter and freezing the gates are usually open. Office staff is friendly. They have a broiler system and the dumpster inside the gates is a compactor and well maintained . You never see it full unless it late night. It’s all non smoking apartments.

    Spoke with the property manager Tracy and I must say she is absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond in assisting us with the application process. She was patient, approachable, and knowledgeable during our call.I definitely recommend this property.

    Ok so just like any apartment complex it has its issue. HOWEVER safety wise you cannot beat. Apartments are located on the same street as the north Dallas police department. Walk any time you want and whenever a cop is always passing by. It’s so safe over here. I’ve left my car windows down twice by accident no one has ever messed with my car. If you’re a looking for safety and security it’s here. Nothing is more important than your safety and security.

    Best Family ran nest you will ever find.Always there when you need them. Never a mad face. Always happy to help. All they ask for is communication and people who knows how to keep a clean place. They aren’t always knocking on doors and always give notice before entering your home. It’s super quiet and next to the best tacos 🌮 in Dallas.I hate so much to have to move these ladies that run this place is top notch. They have been here the whole four years that I have lived at this apartment complex and I tell you if management never changing it shows the difference in a well-maintained apartment complex.This s place you are going to love living atI am truly going to miss my apartment.

    Lived here for a year and loved our apartment. We only had two small maintenance requests and they were completed immediately. The staff and maintenance team are very helpful and super friendly. The community is very quiet and peaceful, we always felt safe when walking our dog late at night. The only con is that people do not pick up after their dogs waste, eventually I noticed it did start to get better but dont understand why its so hard to pick up after your dogs when bags are available all around the community. Overall, we loved living here and would come back in a future if we had a choice.

    I lived in these apartments about 2 years ago. This was my first and only apartment I ever had the opportunity to lease on my own and I have to say the experience living here was a great one. So quiet and affordable. Never encountered any pests or nothing. All maintenance issues were always resolved. Eventually the time came when I had to say goodbye. I wish I could rewind to two years ago and experience them again. I thank you for my opportunity here and I highly recommend these apartments.

    These apartments seem to be in a safe area. They are the most affordable apartments with washers and dryers inside their units that I could find in the area. The leasing and maintenance staff are super helpful and kind. They usually answer the phone, reply to emails within a few hours at most, and take care of maintenance requests promptly. They also have a service where you can have your recycling picked up at your front door. This is incredibly convenient and something that many other apartments do not offer. The only thing that I dont like is that parking near my unit is limited. There are so many units in a concentrated area and not quite enough parking spots nearby. Besides the parking issue, I highly recommend this complex. I have recommended it to other people looking for a place to live in the area and will continue to do so.

    6 months here. Very quiet and clean. Management is super friendly and helpful at all times. They even organize little events every now and then. Im very satisfied with the place.

    To be honest McCallum Highland has been my home for over 16 years. They reach out to me when I didnt have the best credit score. I promise the manager Peggy that if given a lease I would be a good tenant pay my rent on time, stay away from shady people as my guest. The time has gone by so fast.They have the best Maintance crew, leasing staff and residents. We have had some bad ones slip through the cracks but they were soon removed. Our crime rate here is 0.02 the lowest in Collins County.We use to have crimes meeting one a month but being so low in crimes we have not had one in a while. The owner continue to up-grade the property with gate parking and i look forward to signing a new lease next year.

    The staff and service of the complex are absolutely amazing. The office staff has been superb and the maintenance team is friendly and professional. Repairs are done timely and quickly, though weve had to use them a little more than wed like due to AC leak issues in the bathroom. Parking is a little cramped, but the complex is small enough that nowhere is too far away to park.

    Very quiet apartments with friendly tenants. Very pet friendly with dog stations all around the premises with dog poo disposal bags and containers and a dog park to let you get some sun while your pup gets some exercise in a safe enclosed area.Amazing staff that have been great in helping with any questions or concerns Ive had. They also have a recycling program each week to allow you to stay environmentally conscious.A big plus is no pests that Ive seen so far. Ive been here a while now and no spiders, roaches, mice, nothing. The only live critters other than people and pups are the squirrels and rabbits that like to come through.Walking distance to a convenience store and a quick drive from pretty much everything from grocery and fast food to a wide variety of restaurants and specialty shops.The only slight complication is a duplication of apartment numbers between the 6586 buildings and the 6585 building but a little TLC on your orders will get the drivers close enough if not right to your door.Definitely a place I plan to be at long term.

    From the moment I initiated contact with the management with McCallum Highlands, I was treated kindly. Their staff is courteous, professional, and organized. I’ve been here for a week and am in love with my apartment. There’s amazing storage, a nice layout, and great amenities. The community is quiet and clean. The location is great as well. I literally could not ask for anything else. I am thrilled to live here :)

    I am a student at UTD and have lived here for the past 7 months. I would live here forever if I could but I will finish school in May and (sadly) have to say goodbye. I have lived in 3 different complexes in the past 2 years and this one is by far the best one!My apartment was in the building beside the parking lot on McCallum and Davenport. No bugs, no noise (I lived on the third level, so that might be the reason). The apartments in this building tend to be darker (almost no direct sunlight), or at least mine was. But I dont like too much sun so it was fine by me. My friend lives in an apartment by the pool and hers is too bright (So keep that in mind if you love yourself some sunshine!). Hers is also on the 3rd floor and is also bug free, but there is a little noise from the pool during Summer months.Inside-gate and covered parking space is limited and that is the only downside that comes to my mind. You have to buy $20 sticker for covered parking. I parked my car outside the gates and never had any problems, apart from a little bit of hail damage due to the hail in March.My apartment was clean and renovated and the carpet was new when I moved in. I also had built-in washer/dryer in my unit. The gym is nice, the pool is nice, neighbors are nice. Management is good and maintenance is always done in a timely manner. You always have hot water. The price is great compared to nearby communities! Couldnt ask for more. I love living here very much and wish I didnt have to leave!

    I’ve lived at McCallum Highlands for a little over a year now and I must say that I love these apartments. The are conveniently located, any maintenance issues were quickly addressed, the office staff are friendly and always willing to help, and the community is quiet as well as safe. If I didn’t need to relocate due to work I would most definitely be renewing my lease here. I most definitely recommend.

    I lived there for about 18 months and the place was very well-maintained and I know there are other reviews about parking but I personally never had a problem with parking issues. Whenever there is an issue Scarlet and Darla definitely take care of it very promptly and are very supportive. The community is tucked away on the street that’s quiet but you’re very close to Dallas which is nice. For the amount of money you’re spending you definitely get value! a lot of the other areas nearby are more expensive or smaller/dirty. The only reason why I moved out is because I bought a house but if I had to go back to our apartment this would be the location to go!

    Confortable. Quiet. Clean. Good gym. Good maintenance. Affordable. Regular pool but clean and very quiet. Some problem about the parking lot: there is a lack of spots as the population is growing. NO SMOKE, NO WEED, NO CIGARRETTE. Not many animals. The apartments seem they havent been upgraded for a long time but its quiet okay. NOT MANY GREEN AREAS but the price is worth it.

    This is my first apartment I’ve ever lived in and let me say it has exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect within very close distance of business and restaurants! On top of that the staff is very friendly and helpful. Whenever an issue arises they are very responsive and get it taken care of immediately!

    I have lived in McCallum Highlands close to 16 years now and the apartments themselves, the management staff and maintenance staff have never failed to be anything less than outstanding. I recently transferred to a new location on the property and the team was incredible in making the transition as smooth and easy as moving can possibly be.I would highly recommend McCallum Highlands to anyone! 🏡✌️

The office staff is attentive and responds quickly to questions. Scarlett is especially helpful. We enjoy our time here very much.     I’ve been at MCCallum Highlands for 14 months and overall it’s been a really good experience. It’s pretty peaceful and quiet. For the age of the buildings, it really isn’t bad. Scarlett and Darla are super nice people. The only reason I am not renewing my lease is because I’d like to move closer to family.

    I have lived at McCallum Highlands for more than 20 years. This property is well-maintained and the maintenance crew is top notch with two of them here Longer than me. The office staff is responsive to problems and with the exception of Covid last year, we get some pretty nice parties.

    The biggest reason why I like this place is that its clean, well located, and the neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. There is even a police station somewhere there which, obviously, increases the safety side.

    I love this Complex, unfortunately we are leaving because there is no larger apartment, I recommend it for any family, the staff is very friendly and always attends to the needs of the tenants, I would like to return later. Because I dont really want to leave
