I can confidently say that this is the best place Ive ever lived. The apartment community here is not only beautiful and well-maintained but also feels like a true home. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the highway and Rim, yet it still offers hill country views. Allie and the office staff are exceptional—they’re always friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. Anytime I’ve had questions or needed assistance, they go above and beyond to ensure Im taken care of. Maintenance is also top-notch, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently. Living here has been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-kept, and supportive community.

Visited twice to check out the property and to show friend. This place is literally a resort luxury apartment style living. The plans are set up to give you the best living spaces, love the garages, both attached and detached, and the community center( might as well call it that) is amazing.Darius is amazing and treats ypu like your already living there, listens to your needs and make real suggestions. I came in wanting a 3 bedroom and he shared I would love a 2 bedroom based on my biggest concerns!Plus he is funny and well liked by the residents and knows them as well. This shows that the management cares about the residents and they not just folks living there, they real folks.They also spoil you with the resident events, food trucks, parties, 24 hour access to gym, a Starbucks Cafe, business center, lounge area and more. Plus the price point is on point.Its like walking into a Italian/Mexico themed boutique hotel...I hold know I travel to Mexico alot!!

I moved into Marquis on Cross Mountain in April 2024. The apartments and common areas are very well maintained. Coming from a larger community, I find the smaller more family-like community a pleasant change. The other residents have been great neighbors. Leasing was an easy process and I was thrilled to learn the floorplan I preferred became available around my requested time. Whenever I have requested maintenance to come by, both Thomas and Eric have been prompt and professional. I am happy that I chose Marquis at Cross Mountain as my home!!

Beautiful apartment community nestled in the hills above San Antonio. Allie and her leasing team are incredibly kind and work hard to ensure a safe and welcoming property. Thomas and Eriq are the best technicians and the residents are very lucky to have such a diligent and timely crew. In the rare event of a maintenance request, the techs are out to the apartment in record time and get things back up and running! Were so happy we found Marquis Cross Mountain and its an absolute pleasure to get to be a part of this community.

Have lived here for about a year now. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. Great area, nice and quiet. The living quarters are perfect and have a variety for your style. The staff are great and are always super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a resort like apartment that’s far away from the city so it’s quiet, but close enough where it’s not a long commute.

Marquis Cross Mountain is a phenomenal place to live from its location to the office staff, to the gorgeous surroundings. My family and I have lived here for 6 years. It is extremely safe and spacious. The beautiful pool is always clean and refreshing. The maintenance staff is friendly and timely. We love the spectacular location as well. 😃

Marquis at crossmountain is such a wonderful place to live! Not only is it the most beautiful apartment complex ever! But the staff is absolutely amazing. From office hospitality and genuine care for their residence, to the maintenance team that works as hard as possible to keep the property up to par, as well as take care of all of the residences’ needs and requests!! I love living here, and I highly recommend this complex to anyone that is looking for comfort, peace and quiet, and an amazing staff that really cares about you and your living experience ❤️!!

Nothing but good things to say about this complex. I’ve lived in many apartment complexes all over the Austin and San Antonio areas and this is by. Far one of my favorites. The staff is always so friendly and answers all of my annoying question and my unit is the perfect size. The location is great to La Cantera and the Rim, with easy access to I-10 and 1604. Highly recommend!

I’ve lived here for about a year and have only good things to report.Eric & Maricella really make living here a joy. They are always easy to approach with anything that might come up. You never feel like youre bothering them with a problem.The property is really well maintained and feels safe. There were issues with the gates and the old maintenance staff delaying the repairs when we moved in.Not the case now!People have hit the gates with their cars, disabling them. Eric will send out an email letting the residents know about the issue and that a gate repair company has been called if he can’t fix it himself, even after hours.To the people complaining about the gates, some things are beyond the staffs control. What matters is how they react to the problem. I can personally say that they do not procrastinate.I would say we are fortunate to have a staff here that takes personal accountability and pride in their job. Keep up the great work!

I lived here for two years and I loved every second of it. The staff is always helpful and responsive, service requests are always completed within 24-48 hours, the complex is always kept clean, and I saw maybe 3 bugs in the apartment the entire time I was there. The pool is nice, hiking trail is nice, the place is quiet, I always felt safe.... I could go on and on. Zero complaints. It was hard to leave. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I’m not the type to leave reviews unless they’re negative typically…however, Brandon’s superior customer service should not go unnoticed 😌 I came in for a tour and was not disappointed in the slightest. From beginning to end he was respectful, knowledgeable and thorough in answering/acknowledging any questions or concerns that I had. Beautiful property and very well maintained.

David the maintenance worker just left my apartment after finishing an amazing job repairing some equipment in my restroom. I left an emergency voicemail for the maintenance staff and he responded within minutes. Immediately came here and fixed the emergency and went the extra mile to fix another small problem I had.So far all the staff have been very helpful and kind. Theyve explained all of the rules and are always welcoming. All of the leasing center staff members have been professional and kind as well.Well worth the cost of rent :-)

Of four apartment experiences in my life, this is by far the best. Very clean and new; there are only 7 buildings on the property, which create a great sense of community in that you get to know a lot of your neighbors. The property is well-maintained, has great amenities, and the management are consistently putting on events for the residents such as pool parties, breakfast tacos, car washes, etc. Also, the management is super friendly and helpful. Super competitive rates, far enough in the country for some peace and quiet, and only 7 minutes from the Rim or La Cantera. We love this place!

One of the best decisions my family has made was leasing with this rental property! 😁Obviously the amenities 🏊‍♂️ and the overall environment 🌳 are high quality BUT ...🤔the #1 reason we love this location is...The management staff! Yoli, Darius,Vanessa, David etc.1. They always level with you about any potential charges/fees on your account.2. They set expectations for when certain amenities will be closed for cleaning or when we need to change our normal routine to account for maintenance and property upgrades.3. They are more pleasant than the workers at Starbucks.4. They go above and beyond to make sure they exceed expectations.The only reason we left is because we purchased a house, otherwise wed still be a part of this community!

This apartment complex is wonderful. Its secluded yet still close enough to everything you need with the Rim and Leon Springs around the corner. The finishes are beautiful and the amenities are great. The office and maintenance staff are awesome, and thats truly hard to find. Very responsive to residents needs and maintenance work is done in an extremely timely manner. There is nothing I dont like about this complex. It really does feel like a community, Ive only been here about two months and everyone is so friendly. Would definitely recommend these apts to anyone looking, you get what you pay for here!Oh, I forgot to mention. FREE car washes once a month and roadside assistance AND a pretty neat little nature trail right off the apts. Cant beat it!

We lived here for 2 1/2 years. We thought it would be great to get a house and rented one for one year. We moved back because we missed it so much here :the location is prime, in the country close to I 10 and 1604, and management is quick to respond whenever necessary and very kind. We love the amenities, the hiking trail, the pool ,the clubhouse ,the coffee house , the grounds, the grill and outdoor fireplace. They are dog friendly. We will stay until we leave San Antonio. We are so happy to be back.

Ive been living here a few months now and I have to say it has been a great experience.Pros:-Lovely pool-Helpful and friendly front office staff-Beautiful apartments (appliance, floors, walls, light)-They host many events-Again, Im going to state that I love the people in the front office. After my last apartment nightmare, this is such a huge plus for me!There are only a few cons:-Thin floors/ceilings (I.E. its very easy to hear everything my neighbor is doing upstairs)-Parking for buildings 5-7 is lousy (any other building and you have plenty of options)

Awesome apartment.What I love:1. Private nature trail!!!!2. High quality finishes throughout.3. Charming appeal- feels like a boutique hotel. Actually, staying here makes you feel like youre in a resort.4. Awesome location to the Frederich Park and all La Cantera and The Rim has to offer.5. An awesome convenience store right across the street.6. It includes washer/dryer7. Great customer service. Maintenance crew are incredible - they are super fast in responding to your concerns. Main area are always super clean.8. Manager and leasing team are very kind and understanding people. They are always there to respond positively, kindly, and patiently to your queries.Areas to improve on:NOTHING!!!! May be just the parking situation - but all apartment complexes has this problem so no biggie. Theres always a spot and since this is such a small-quaint complex, walking back to your unit isnt really a big deal.I leased this July 2016 and I have been raving about it. I might have made a mistake writing reviews for them everywhere since I want to keep this place a secret.

I have lived here for nearly 6 months and absolutely love the entire community and staff. Each staff member treats its residents like family and has never shown me anything short of respect and care. I recently returned from vacation fairly late (well after business hours) to find that my A/C unit had stopped working. When I called the emergency maintenance line, I immediately got a call back from Mia who was at my apartment within minutes to help with my situation. After assessing the unit, she was unable to get it running as the entire motor had been blown. Mia then went out of her way to haul an extremely heavy portable A/C unit up to my apartment (on the 4th floor), insisting she did not need my help. The unit worked well and Mia was there the next morning to inform me they would have the motor replaced that day. Mia was extremely helpful and is one of the MANY reasons I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a beautiful and friendly community! Thank you again MIA, you are a life saver!

I lived there for a year about 3 years ago...they were the best!! Anything I needed, they fixed! And when I moved in, there were water bottles in the fridge for me AND written on my bathroom mirror was Welcome Karen to your new home!. They also had a small dry erase board on my kitchen counter with the office phone # on it!Now THATS what a call a great staff!!!

The Retreat at Cross Mountain is an amazing Apt complex with a staff that is a step above the rest in customer service. The team here is accomodating, fun, and is always looking for ways to improve the experience of their tendants. They put on events, host outings, and overall stay very connected with the community. I have nothing but excellent things to say about my experience and I would recommend anyone looking for a great place to live, to check out the Retreat!!

I moved from Houston to San Antonio and made these apartments my first home. Mrs. Vannessa and Mrs. Yoli are amazing and honestly go above and beyond for our community. We have celebrated many fun activities as a community. For example shark week, to movie nights on the patio, to complimentary pictures with Santa for the kids and for the furr babies to name a few. Dont hesitate and join the community.
