    I signed a 1-year lease with Leah Avenue while finishing my senior at TXST. The rent is cheap ($515 for me and a pet), and the unit is pretty decent for the price. Bus 26 also stops right in front of the leasing office so its convenient and safe if you were to have night classes.The only complaint I have is that my units AC is pretty old, so I had to submit maintenance requests every month to get the filter changed to prevent the AC from overheating. I had some months where my utility was really high ($150 vs. $80) due to the AC not working properly.The maintenance team as well as Tatiana and Avery at the leasing office were always nice and helpful with my requests and questions. They also have a team that regularly mows the grass and cleans up dog waste that some owners didnt bother to pick up.Overall, Leah Avenue offers good quality for the price. I didn’t get my deposit back but they didnt rip me off from move-out statement and their estimate was fair. I would honestly consider renewing my lease with them if I had another year to complete my studies.

    Office staff is friendly and professional, they worked diligently from the application process to move in! The grounds,gym,pool,and student office are very well kept.Dryer maintenance was completed in 24 hours .

    I have lived at University Club for almost three years and I have enjoyed it. I have had really good times here and the staff has stepped up their game in the past year. The apartments are not the nicest in town, but the offer great prices. The new staff and maintenance team are great as well. If you are a student looking for a place to reside, come take a look at these apartments.

    The apartments are large and its nice having two stories. Appliances, heating, AC all worked fine. The office staff is helpful with answering questions, printing documents, etc. Trash is collected three times weekly. Utilities were high, around $60-80/month. Maintenance is not always prompt. The property is brightly lit at night by floodlights, so you have to add an extra window shade to keep out the light. Theres a pool, basketball court, and volleyball court. At least three times I was supposed to receive mail but it was returned to sender as addressee not known, even though my address was written correctly on the envelope. The residents are almost all students, and they offer random roommate matching. Its about a 15 min drive from TXState, but its right by I-35. Overall its a functional, no-frills complex. Its not as fancy as most of the other places in San Marcos, but its quiet, and the price is unbeatable.

    Lived here for 3 years (2018-2021)- its cheap so you get what you paid for. we had those huge roaches every once in a while, the utilities bill would spike different times of the year, & we got broken into once. The leasing office people always changed but theyre always nice and the maintenance people were nice too. the kitchen is way too small for 4 people, but the unit as a whole is a pretty good size. We also kept our power during the winter storm since were so close to a hospital, and this area of san marcos doesnt flood. If they had other units with 1 or 2 bedrooms, I wouldve probably resigned. Overall, Id recommend to people who are on a budget.

    I lived here for 2 years and I honestly enjoyed it. I just moved out. Its a safe and quiet area and it doesnt flood! At least during my time there.Maintenance: pretty fast to act unless the problem requires ordering something of course. I do have an issue with their emergency maintenance when the office is closed. They are really hard to get a hold of.Management: Very kind and understanding. Although they rarely answer the phone and they often close the front office out of the blue. But once I get a hold of them theyre great.Apartment: When we moved in it was immaculate. They put in brand new furniture and their were no bugs. If you have a problem with bugs they are pretty good about spraying. The appliances are outdated but they work just fine. The cabinets and bathroom counters are also pretty old but again, theyre not dirty or broken.I would definitely move here again if I had the chance.Thanks for making college more enjoyable Uclub!

    Uclub is very helpful and has amazing staff! The apartments are fairly nice for the price you pay! It’s Not loud and crazy. And I love the pool! How things are ran in the office is very important and they really do an outstanding job! 5 stars for sure!!

    From my experience of living at the university club apartments I have notice a couple things.1: the staff is amazing and is always Available for your assistance when needed2: the living conditions are extremely satisfyingly with a reasonable cost.I definitely plan to resign as I believe there is no other place in San Marcos that can beat the deals that this place has to offer.

    Hands down one of the best places I have stayed. They had un-furnished units and the pool is nice too. The units are town home style and very spacious. We liked that they came with washer and dryers too. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

    Lived here for almost a year and it is wonderful. The management is the ONLY place in San Marcos that I know of that actually is organized, professional, and efficient. Maintenance always does a great job and is very quick to act. They communicate very well with residents and if there is ever something that concerns me they take care of it quickly. Definitely finsihing out my college career here.

    Want me to tell you how awesome the University Club Apartments are? Let me break it down for you, who are either new to apartment living / San Marcos in general: Most apartment complexes I’ve lived at have been overpriced and crappy living spaces, where I’ve had to share a room with someone else. The leasing offices at those apartment complexes are also so detached from the needs of their residents that they won’t help you. BUT THAT IS WHERE UNIVERSITY CLUB IS *VASTLY* DIFFERENT. Whenever I’ve had an issue in the apartment, it gets fixed almost immediately. The leasing office team of Jack and Hayden here at University Club are nice, funny, and the most helpful leasing team I’ve ever had. Are you sick of living in an awful place like, say, the overpriced apartments close to campus? Then don’t. Come live over on the COOL side of San Marcos, where you live right across the road from the Sam’s Club, Best Buy, and the Starplex Movie Theater. Did I mention how affordable it is here? I have a room to myself that’s way more affordable than the crappy shared living spaces at Ella Lofts. I have a big living room, my own washer and dryer, and even a little backyard area. It’s AWESOME, dude. Oh my gosh. If I hadn’t moved in here, then I’d probably be suffering somewhere else. Parents: do you love your kids? Or do you want them to hate you for sticking them in an awful apartment? Okay, then take them here, to the University Club Apartments. Do it. This place is AMAZING! There’s a POOL, and it’s a really great pool. A workout room, a great and efficient trash system...gosh. This place is too good to be THIS cheap. “This sounds like an ad!” It’s not, I’m just an advertising major who’s happy to be living here at such a good apartment complex. That’s why I’m living such a good review, because I’m literally THAT happy about living here. I’m glad to be here, and you will be, too. In conclusion: do you want to live at a place in San Marcos that’s AWESOME, that DOESN’T suck? Then come to the University Club Apartments, and ask for Jack or Hayden. This place is fantastic, and unless you’re someone with poor taste / hates nice things, then you’ll love it here just as much as I do.

    There were hiccups along the way as there are with any apartment complex, but Jack was extremely helpful in meeting all of my requests and making sure that I got exactly what I wanted. The move in process was easy and painless. The apartments themselves are super cute and high quality for the price being paid. I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

    I love living here! The office staff is always super nice and friendly, and the maintenance guys are DABOMMBB. Not only do they fix my requests within 24 hours, but theyre just cool guys too. Only downside is that yes, there have been some crickets that get into our unit. I know they have pest control, but I just bought my own self-treat bugspray stuff and weve been pretty much bugfree the whole time. If you want a lot of space, dont want super high rent, and dont mind having roommates, then totally check out U Club.

    I just want to say thank you to, I believe it’s Bratzo? (sorry) His service was amazing. I put in a maintenance order for our dryer, but I ended up needing to cancel it and left a voicemail. He never received it 😭 I was surprised (and too late) when I came to find him switching out our dryer. I told him I had left a voicemail the other day to cancel! He kept a positive attitude and was very polite about it (although you can tell he was disappointed). Anyways, thank you so much !!!! Thank you!🙏🏽 🙌🏽

    I looked at UClub recently and was met with patience and kindness from the staff. Karen helped me with a tour and was very thorough with questions I asked and helped me feel welcome. The apartments themselves are clean and accommodating. Perfect for student living!

    Hi there My name is Jonathan I am the resident from Uclub apartments. So here is my honest review of this place. I want to say when I moved here I was a mess physically and emotional across the board and felt very isolated. And felt my life after college would be a very very sad state of affairs. And took a big risk considering I at the time barely graduated from a different college at the time. Thought that going to have no friends, no life at all. But ever since I moved here from day one Hayden, Jake, eventually Karen, James, and the staff that are no longer here greeted me with open arms with love, support,and been there for me not only from there as wonderful staff that actual care about their residents, but also been some of the greatest friends I could ever ask for. They been there to talk to me for all life questions and be there for me through thick and thin. And that is one of the many qualities that I have not seen really at any other complex at all. They treat people with kindness, respect, with open arms and with traits that all other places should follow. And I have visited many other complexes from Elevation, Thevenue, Cabanna Beach, from residents of other places and the care they give to their residents do not compare. They will not treat you like a disposable thing and that treat you like garbage that for example seen Elevation that will not take efforts to address health stuff like black mold or other issues and be lucky for next couple months of Elevation if except some of the workers who care but others go through the motions. They will do their best to follow up on making sure that you are in the right roommate situation, they take care of their property and compete with others for than less than how much for the upkeep, the character of the staff, doing events to help bring people togetger as a community and do things from pool parties with ttying get a band there, to doing small get togethers so to give people opportunities to make real deep connections. The people here are super friendly and encourage me and others to get to know their neighbors as friends and roommates. And if you do not like your roommates they will try match you up to best ones and be very accommodating for people of all walks of life. And they admit when they fall short and try to do right to make up for it. Its located at very great spot. Next to shopping area, have the city and school bus system wothin walking steps of your apartment to help people who do not have vehicles like me at the moment to get around, they have a 24 hour gym, 24 hour computer lab, they do trash pickup at front door, they have each room with separate leases so no is piggy backing on anyone. And they take seriously if you are not having greatest living situation, bball court, volley ball court, great pool and chill out area, they make sure safety is up to par update the lighting all that needs to be done to get the most outcof what you can. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a chance to start over, make new friends, not be in a toxic environment where people may not treat you as they should which this place treats people with qualities that people can learn a thing or two from.     Ive been here for almost four years now and Ive enjoyed my experience here overall. The rent is cheap, staff is friendly, maintenance is fairly quick to resolve issues, and location is great. The only drawback is having to live with three other people at all times.

    Hayden works at the U Club I walked right in the doors and she came first aid to my assistance any questions I had she answered and were willing to help me with no problem I walked in and she brought me to a computer to fill out a form I told her I wasnt to computer savvy she helped me right away she was an excellent person very welcoming and made my experience that much more better if anybodys thinking about going to the U Club I would see Hayden shes an amazing staff member and very welcoming I think she deserves a raise thank you Hayden. And because of her great assistance that is why now that is my residence because of her that is why her welcoming help. Places like the U Club need more people like her

    I have lived here for the past 3 going on 4 years of my life and there hasnt been a moment where I have regretted signing and resigning here every year. I absolutely love it here from my apartment and room to the staff and the fitness center I love everything about this place. It may not be the most fanciest place there is to live in San Marcos but for the price you are paying you really are getting more for your dollar then at any of these other places. and OHHHHH THE STAFF!! They are the reason I always resign here. This has to be the best staff probably in San Marcos. Ive never seen people so helpful, yet utterly hilarious at the same time. And they always have the best movies on too mainly disney *cough Hercules cough* Haha but yeah and they always have food every wednesday for us struggling college students which is a big thing because I dont really know of any other apartment complex that does that. And the main manager guy Oscar oh man he is awesome he is probably the best manager Ive seen here no one gets it done like that man. He is more efficient and reliable than the trojan man! Now thats reliable! SO if you are looking for a beast place to live then look no further than UNIVERSITY CLUB!!! But really in all seriousness this is one of the best places to live in San Marcos, really cheap, and great staff, and just all around amazing!
