    I’ve been living here since March and haven’t had any issues. Britney is very responsive and always makes sure I’m well taken care of. In fact I signed my lease before even viewing the apartment complex (I lived in another state at the time) because Britney was very helpful throughout the entire process. They also provide breakfast on Fridays which awesome! Maintenance is always on time of requests too. I haven’t experienced any issues living here, would definitely recommend it!

    I honestly love this place so much. I love the staff and the community. Brittany helped me with moving in, and I cannot thank her enough. She is friendly, understanding, and fair! The maintenance staff is also awesome! Super nice and help me with all my little problems. The only reason why I gave the location a 4/5 is because I cant stand that freeway close to the Apartments. No big deal. But as I was saying, great place to live and great staff!

    Stayed here for the past year. I have 0 complaints. My unit was nice, up to date & whenever i had any issues the Maintenance team fixed things right away they are great! Any time i had questions for the office they were quick to respond. I would renew my lease here if I didnt want to be in closer to the city. I think they should work on getting an elevator in the other building other than that AMAZING apartments/community. Thanks, Layers!

    I recently had the pleasure of attending a tour of the Layers Apartment Complex, and I must say, our tour guide, Jamaria Means, truly made the experience exceptional. From the moment we arrived, her professionalism and warmth set a positive tone for the tour.Jamaria was incredibly knowledgeable about the property and the surrounding area. She provided detailed information about the amenities, unit layouts, and the leasing process, which helped us understand what makes the Layers community unique. I appreciated how she took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly, making sure we felt informed and valued as potential residents.

    We’ve been really happy with living here. Management has been great with helping us figure out issues if they arise. They’re always friendly and have been very nice every time we make our way through the office. The maintenance team is the best. They’ve been so helpful and are quick on stopping by to resolve any maintenance issues we are experiencing.

    Toured here yesterday. Love the location in the business area with the mall right across the freeway. I viewed a studio. Loved the kitchen and liked the washer and dryer was in your closet. Never saw that before. Didn’t like that the place is a maze. Only one elevator so if you stay in the middle it’s going to take a min to get to your apartment. Also not a lot of storage/closet space.Update: So I just moved in on Friday 1/24/25. I worked with Brittany throughout my process and she was very informative and helpful. I upgraded a star because the maze is no longer a maze. lol However still not a lot of storage space. Other than that I love it so far. Feel secure. Love how you can operate everything from your phone and don’t have to carry key fobs or anything.Move in was smoothe and only had 2 issues and maintenance came immediately to fix.I would definitely recommend this place to call home. I mean it’s the perfect location. You’re across from the mall and near soooo many food and shopping places.

    Working as a Package Expedition Logistics Associate can be difficult in apartment complexes. Today was my first time visiting the Galleria with some important deliveries and if it wasnt for Jamaria (who was as excellent as she is gorgeous) I wouldve spent probably near 2 hours there clueless as to where to go. She saved me and gave me excellent directions and even let me borrow a handcart for some of my packages. Would happily deliver again. 10/10 service.

    I’ve lived here for a little over 3 years now! It has had its moments! However Lakeiha, Becky & Heather are the sweetest ppl ever! They are always kind and ready to help! They are now under new management and so far so good! They are working on making upgrades to exterior! The apartments are beautiful! Starting from LED lights in the bathroom to touch kitchen appliances!I’ve been here so long because of the staff and the location! Only thing I hate is my view from my patio! Lol

    I moved here in March, and it has been nothing short of amazing! It’s in a great location as well. My leasing agent Lakeiha is a beautiful spirit. Very easy to talk to and a breath of fresh air every time I visit the leasing office. Anything I need she has always been there to help.

    I’ve lived at this building for a few months. I initially started off in a corporate unit and ended up transferring to a standard lease after deciding to stay in the area longer. Vicki, Lakeiha, and Allison in the office are wonderful! They truly care about their residents and it shows. The maintenance team and housekeeping team are amazing. They are kind, courteous, and do a great job! I love the finishes in the building and the amenities are well cared for. I can’t imagine living in any other building in Dallas. I’m so happy that I was lucky enough to find this place and so grateful the team was able to help me transition into a standard lease to stay here!

    I have lived here for two years and never expected to love it as much as I do. They had an amazing move in special at the time and I’ve renewed my lease without any doubts in my mind more than once. I love the interaction between staff and residents and the entire leasing staff is so friendly, accommodating, welcoming and professional. They know their people by name! It is affordable, clean, no crime and always so safe. Maintenance is prompt which is awesome too.

    I have lived at Elan City Centre for a while now. Since moving in, the office staff has been completely replaced. The management now is absolutely incredible. The manager, Vicki, is so helpful and it really seems like she has the residents’ best interest at heart in everything she does, she really cares and it shows. The assistant manger, Mallory, is very knowledgeable and always gets back with me about any questions or concerns in a timely manner, something I’ve always had issues with at other complexes. The leasing agents are also incredible. Allison is the absolute sweetest and is always eager to help and she is so welcoming anytime I walk into or call the office while Bahati is super efficient and a great problem solver, they really compliment each other very well. They frequently have events for the residents that make it easy to get to know your neighbors and are a lot of fun. They have also done lots of updates on the property including a new dog park which I am so excited for and my giant schnauzer, Edmond, really enjoys socializing with the other pets in the community. Maintenance has always answered any requests very quickly and they always do an exceptional job. Overall, if you are looking for a home where you know you will be taken care of by people who truly care, this is the place you want to live!

    Changing my 1 star rating to 4 stars:The leasing office was amazing with all my needs. I applied in November and got everything settled on that month. After November, I had a hard time contacting the office and was worried about my apartment. I finally moved in on January and Allison has been very helpful with everything.

    I have lived here for 1.5 years and just signed another 12 month lease. i cant recommend this place enough. The staff is amazing and has truly treated me like family. Allison and Vicki are so great. I love the coffee bar, the give aways, and the bagel bar on friday mornings. I love it here

    My partner and I have been living at Elan since April this year, and we love it. Cant imagine living anywhere else in Dallas. The apartments are really new - all the fixtures are super modern and our apartment was spotlessly clean when we moved in. It has great amenities - apart from your actual apartment, the building as a whole is lovely. I use the gym a couple of times a week and its never particularly busy. The grills outside are generally free and theres lots of tables you can entertain at. We regularly have friends over and enjoy a glass of wine or dinner in the courtyard.The staff are all very friendly and happy to help with any issues. Whenever I have had to submit a maintenance request to replace a light-bulb, or deal with something stuck in disposal, they respond quickly to get the issue resolved. They also host regular events at the apartment w/ free food, wine tasting etc. Theres plenty of parking so thats never an issue, and we can generally get one right outside the building (not sure why that other reviewer wrote that parking was hassle?!) In the summer, the pool area can get kind of rowdy on Saturdays & Sundays during the day with people having parties down there with loud music etc. Apart from that the whole complex is pretty quiet, especially during the week - young professionals make up the majority of the residents. Would highly recommend to anyone considering moving here. So grateful to have found this place!!

    Ive been living at Elan for almost a month now. My experience has been nothing short of amazing. The ladies up front are always helpful and in good spirits, and the maintenance is very prompt and polite. Ive been helped moving in a couple times from neighbors, and many invites to help from other kind tenants, so the community feels very inviting. Definitely happy to call this place home!

    I dont know what all the fuss is about with the low ratings. Ive been living here for a year and a half. I have the perfect amount of space, and Im probably one of the luckier ones that was able to snag a good unit location.I have an extended balcony that leads out to the patio area. I am conveniently located between pool and office area. Management has been nice. They leave you alone for the most part if you are a good resident who follows the rules. Maintenance guys fulfill my requests timely. My rent didnt go up when I resigned. I was about to move to a cheaper place, but they convinced me to stay with a good deal.Pool area is clean, not too loud, except sometimes there are just so many kids. Parking isnt too bad, but like I said, I live close to the leasing office where I have easy access to street parking and also the parking garage.5 stars, Elan City Centre!

    Ive called Elan City Centre my home now for almost 7 months! I enjoy living here, my neighbors are nice and respectful, the front office is always such a joy to go through, everyone is super friendly. The resident gatherings each month are always fun and well thought out! The property is well maintained, gates are secure and I feel safe living here! Great place to choose to live if you work in the nearby buildings too!

    Just moved out of Elan City Centre after staying here for 2 years. I really have nothing but good things to say about this place. They are very affordable for how nice they are. It is located very close to the galleria and all major grocery stores. Definitely a very safe area. The staff is always friendly and promptly take care of any requests. The pool is nice and they keep the property clean. It is located in a quiet area. The neighbors and community is very friendly. 5+ stars!

    Ive lived here for almost 3 years. The maintenance and office staff are amazing. The complex is very well taken care of. Having multiple grills is great so theres always room for you to use them! Munch down Mondays, the food truck visits make Mondays a whole lot better!!

    With just being a frequent visitor, I can say Layers At Galleria lives up to its name. Its an onion of an environment, when peeled back reveals a diverse culture of people. The amenities are convenient and the staff is superb. Ask for Lakeyah, shes super accommodating I am so sorry if I butured the name. This complex is awesome!

    Ive been here a year and a half, and I couldnt be happier! The office staff are such super nice people, and the apartments are beautiful! Its not perfect, no place is... I wish my apartment were larger, and parking isnt great (well, except for me. I was able to get a reserved spot right in front. ;)) There isnt much grass for dogs. But seriously, as soon as my income goes up, I am going to try to get one of the townhouse style apartments and then stay here until I am able to buy a house. Its a great location, and again.... I couldnt be happier!

    SmartCity actually helped me find this apartment as I was getting ready to transition from Houston and back to Dallas. Due to COVID, they gave me options on a virtual tour and also a self guided tour. I love these apartments. I’ve been living here since mid September and can honestly make a honest review. The staff is great, the amenities are awesome and the apartment features is what got me. The apartments are very peaceful and quiet. It’s in the Galleria area and you are literally 3 minutes from the mall. The only complaint I would have is the parking and that’s only because I stay in building 5. If I can’t find a park by my house then I have to walk a little far away. Highly recommend these apartments.

    BEAUTIFUL apartments. Management is professional and always helpful. The office has a awesome clubhouse with pool tables, computers with printer access, great gym, and DELICIOUS complimentary coffee for everybody. The pool is great with RELAXING lounge chairs to tan in inside the pool to stay cool. Apartments are luxurious, classy, and chic. Maintenance was great and always took care of the residents and property. Perfect location in North Dallas. Very quiet area. NO crime. ....And if you got your car ‘stolen’ you probably didn’t pay on it resulting to a repo. Which is how this life works. All in all, I would refer Elan City to everybody & their cars!!!!

    Living at Elan City is like the gift that keeps on giving!!!! This place is perfect and affordable which is rare because those two hardly ever go hand in hand. The property is very clean and safe, the staff is very kind and helpful. I love it here, I would definitely recommend this apartment center over and over.

    I love how the leasing office team cares to make this a fun place to live. The time they put into hosting fun events and decorating for holidays is awesome. Maintenance team is super helpful. Some improvements to be made around the complex. Wish there were more walks around the complex to note things that are broken or could use a little TLC. All in all, pretty great place to be!

    I hold much history as a resident here at Elan City Centre. Much of this is due to living onsite on and off since it was built in 2013. Within the last few months I needed assistance with a few things here and there in reference to my apartment. The Manager and Maintenance team could not have been better with the work and successful communication they held and provided. Im not the normal type to leave reviews, but this was well deserved and I wanted to be sure credit was given where it was due! Especially to the Manager! She is the type of Manager thats rare and hard to find these days! Shes very mellow, real, caring, honest, and truly tries to help in any way she can! Im very thankful for all the team does onsite & how it truly reflects how they care for their tenants. Elan City Centre definitely goes Beyond Expectations! Merry Christmas team ECC!

The office staff is willing to help when I need to find a missing package, help with the resident portal, etc. Customer service is by far the best Ive had from an apartment. I am truly glad to call Elan City Centre home!

    This is my favorite space thus far to call home! Vicki, Mallory, Allison and the entire office staff, Jose and the entire maintenance team practice great customer service pleasantly handling any issue. This location is convenient and accessible to everything. I love living here, and while no place is perfect, Elan City Centre does try to make it so!

    I have lived here for almost five years, and had it not been for a career move closer to downtown, I would have quite possibly stayed here for five more. My neighbors are THE FRIENDLIEST I have ever encountered in ANY apartment community I have ever lived. Everyone smiles and waves and nods, and I truly feel they are all respectful of one another. I really am a little bit sad to leave. Also, its really really clean and All the maintenance people are super efficient and friendly. For pet owners like myself, being able to find an apartment with a yard is like finding a diamond in the rough. Im probably going to miss that a lot when I get downtown! Now, to prove I dont work for the apartments, I will mention a few of my not so favorite things as well. (Admittedly there arent many) For one, I cant figure out the online portal. Im sure for those who are a bit more tech savvy than I am, its a beeeze, but despite my best efforts with both my abacus AND my blackberry, I just couldnt quite figure it out.. Next, for some reason, a few folks have stopped putting the weights back where they found them in the gym. Another probably no biggy, but I have nails and have chipped probably three. In addition, that happens at most gyms anyway. (On that note, the gym is GORGEOUS! Its on the third floor with wrap around mirrors, wrap around windows, and an AMAZING view! You will be hard pressed to find another that is nicer than this one in ANY apartment community! The treadmill in the far right corner has been one of my Happy places for years). Finally, my apartment was a little bit small. I cant speak for all the others because I have not been in the other floor plans. However, I HAVE learned that the sizing is actually quite normal for apartments in Dallas. (Mine was approximately 800sq ft). But yet again, the pros outweigh the cons because my entire closet was actually a ROOM! Not just a walk-in closet, an actual ROOM with the washer and dryer actually IN IT!! Ive never had ANYONE come inside my apartment and not mention how nice it was! (I am a pretty good decorator though, so Ill take some of the credit for that. ;) One last thing because I have to go finish packing, but I heard a rummer that the apartment community is going to start reporting to the credit agencies soon so that you can help solidify your credit by paying your rent on time. I actually LOVE this idea! Not only is is beneficial for the responsible residents, it also keeps some of the riff raff away. I feel like this helps JEE the overall culture here very happy/classy and friendly/professional. I really wish they had been doing this for the last several years that I was here! Do double check with the office before you take my word for it though, its just something that I heard from someone else who lives here. Sigh... there. Im done now. Five years and life has steered me in another direction. Ive truly enjoyed my time here, and if you are considering moving to the area you really owe yourself the favor of checking this place out.     This is an awesome place to live and over the time i ve been living here it only improved! Great staff, both office and maintanence are very nice and respectful. Very quick responses to any maintanence requests and updates when the work is complete. Campus is clean, safe, carpeted corridors always smell good. Location is superb - next to Galleria and halfway in between downtown and Frisco, what could be better!
