I absolutely loved living at this apartment complex! The management office personnel were always so kind, helpful, and welcoming. I miss bringing them flan or a bottle of wine during the holidays. The maintenance team was incredibly fast and efficient, always handling any issues right away. The apartments themselves are comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the sense of community is wonderful. Communication was always clear, and they truly care about their residents. I only have good things to say about this place – it was a fantastic home! I still come sometimes to visit some friends.

I have been a resident here for 3yrs and when I move in I had nothing but great experience with my leasing person Mrs Tina and she was very helpful also she was super super nice. Anytime I have any questions or work orders and they were very quick to get my work orders done. Also I met the the manger Angel and she was very nice as well. I will recommend anyone to this place very nice.

I currently reside here and it is a beautiful place not only is it beautiful , the amazing leasing agent leticia is so kind and respectful and very fast acting. She helped me move in very quickly. The complex is wonderful to walk around and enjoy the pool. Everything that you pay here is worth it !!!

I have to praise Mr. Mario, the maintenance supervisor, for going above and beyond for my family this week. My air conditioning unit broke- on a holiday weekend, of course. My kids and I had just come home from vacation and I feared that my apartment would be boiling hot because I knew that the office was closed for the weekend. However, I called the emergency maintenance phone number and Mr. Mario came immediately. He was very kind and very professional; he assessed the situation immediately and told me that he would need to order a new air conditioning unit. In the meantime, however, he brought a huge temporary air conditioning unit to put in my apartment so that my kids and I would be comfortable in the meantime. Because it was a holiday weekend, and he was on call by himself, he brought his son to help him haul this giant air conditioning unit up the stairs and get it set up for my family. Mr. Mario kept me in the loop during the whole process and as soon as the part came in, he replaced the entire air conditioner so that now we have a brand new one. He provided such excellent service and was positive and professional the entire time, making me feel like my family and I were priority. I think that we could all learn a lot from Mr. Mario, his customer service and his work ethic. Thank you so much!

Update - we lived here for about 8 months approaching our end of lease soon.It is nice community, quiet & safe.A couple things I recommend. Get Reserved parking because everyone wants to park close of course. Unless you dont mind parking near the fence and walking then you are good. Wanna go to gym? Additional 1 time fee of $25 to get a key. Also, you get 1 key fob for gate and if you want a 2nd its an additional $75.Also, if the person in front of you struggling to open gate or forgot there code. Open it for them. Be nice pass it on!Original - Came in and Tina was a delight. She helped us with the application process and showed us around. She was also super friendly and attentive to any comments or concerns we had.

Maintenance is stellar. They literally come within like an hour. Rarely do I ever need to call for maintenance to begin with.Office staff is great also. Very eager to help and manager takes care of things very fast. There was a tree that fell on the fence during a storm and the very next morning they were out chopping that tree up getting it fixed. Overall, excellent experience living here!! Lots of fun events too! Bedrooms are huge also!

The move-in and move-out process was explained thoroughly and the staff there was completely open to questions and concerns. The premises are well-kept, and the management is extremely timely with requests. During my stay, one of the burners on my stove broke, and a polite gentleman came to fix with early the next day. Another incident that occurred was I heard strange noises outside my door, and I was concerned. I called the office, and they sent two men to drive by my door within minutes to investigate the issue. They called me and explained the noises, so I did not have to worry. I really appreciated the promptness of their response and their understanding. I had to break my lease and leave due to personal issues, but this complex had nothing to do with my early leave. They were kind and understanding to me as a first-time apartment tenant. Ms. Catherine and Ms. Tina are both incredibly nice and professional. They send text and email updates just enough to keep you in the loop, but not enough to be bothersome. The complex also has nice events during the year, especially for children. I do not have any complaints and only have great things to say. 10/10.

I cannot speak more highly of Lakewood Apartments. The property is beautifully maintained, quiet and peaceful. I truly appreciate the sense of community that the management team has been able to foster. They are very thoughtful with the resident events that they host and are extremely helpful with any questions I have. The maintenance team is also great and fulfill my maintenance requests in a timely manner. I am confident in saying that you will not be disappointed when choosing to call Lakewood Apartments home!

Catherine was absolutely delightful! My husband and I are relocating from another state, and she made me feel very welcome! She addressed any concerns we had and gave us information about the city as well. Lakewood apartments has a friendly atmosphere and looks family friendly. All staff and residents that we encountered during our tour, were friendly and helpful. They also accept larger dogs! We were having a hard time finding a place that had a higher weight limit than 35 pounds. We cant wait to move in and start the next chapter of our lives!

In the past I lived in other apartments in the area but safety or management was always an issue and I’ve never had an issue here. I have been looking at apartments for almost a year now. This is the first time I’ve ever lived on my own I myself anywhere. And when I was Financially ready, my parents drove from Louisiana, I was living out of hotels and my car because I stayed here for a boyfriend that broke up with me two days before I moved in here. It was such a nice feeling to be greeted By such a warm and loving staff that one of the staff members is from Georgia! We both had that southern drawl and the instant feeling of safety and knowing that I was going to have a place to Sleep every night now!! Especially since she really worked with me on my rent fees, and explained everything in detail, so there were no hidden fees! Love it here. The pool is beautiful here!!!

I just finished the application process with Tina who explained everything thoroughly and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had! The grounds are well kept and pet friendly! The newly renovated 1Bd is beautiful and move in ready! I’ve already put down my deposit because I don’t want this place snatched up! The community is quiet from what I’ve seen and the staff ready to help in any way they can, not to mention how close it is to 249 and major retailers like Target and H-E-B! I’m excited for my move in date! I expect to be very happy here :)

Walking Into the apartments I was warmly greeted Mrs. Dupree in the office is amazing she has a bubbly personality (she is everything)and is well versed to walk a first time renter through the whole process. I like that the pool is well maintained. I like the gym that they have its very neat ,with good equipment. I also enjoy the playground and vollyball court, its great when u have a small child like me. I also enjoy the apartment. I love my balcony. I love that its a quiet community. The people are nice. They fix things quick. And they are always making the apartments better and better. Its a great place for a family. Its safe because its a gated community.

First and foremost, I would like to start by saying how first impressions are everything. Upon visiting The Lakewood Apartments, I was warmly greeted by Catherine Canchola. She was such a great help being that this would be my first apartment. She took the time to break everything down for me and even offered a viewing of the desired apartment. She truly made my family feel at home. The area is another pro as well. Very clean and quiet neighborhood, with various shopping centers and restaurants nearby.

The apartment complex is gated, lies directly on the 249 southbound feeder, and is located very close to a wide variety of vendors. The first impression of the complex has been very solid!

Front desk and maintenance are responsive and very pleasant to work with. They definitely go further. The community is quiet, good neighbors. Close to an elementary school, park, running trail, and beach! Everything in our apartment was updated and clean. Im glad we made this our new home.
