I was in customer service for over 40 years, so I am very careful in providing ratings. I can professionally report that all of the staff provide the very highest form of service, that being they treated me, and no doubt everyone, as if I were their only resident. The Manager Shanike Brown made the application process smooth, and was highly supportive through all steps for moving into my wonderful, fresh and spacious apartment. Each of the leasing agents, Martha Mendez and Noe Trevino were equally wonderful, carefully explaining and guiding me through the process and afterward always welcoming, relaxed and supportive as I became familiar with the property. Any possible maintenance was taken care of quickly and completely by the great team of Alex, Pablo and Fernando. Wonderful living at Ivy Urban Living, a green, leafy and secure oasis in the heart of Dallas.

I lived here for a year, and everything was perfect! The amenities, my neighbors, and the surroundings were beautiful. Every friend who visited my home would say, I want to live here!Whenever I had an issue, I just had to submit a maintenance ticket, and it would be resolved that same day or the next week (Depending on the severity of the matter). Any problem I encountered was quickly taken care of by the Ivy Urban Team.I truly felt at home! Thank you, Ivy, for this amazing year.

I came in to apply for a unit and the staff greeted me with open arms. The manager also came out and greeted me. I viewed a 2x2 Floor-plan and it was an amazing floor-plan fully upgraded. I will be applying due to the staff and the cleanliness of the property. Ms. Shanika Brown was a pleasure to speak with. She was super nice and understanding of all my questions. Do not think twice about applying here. The leasing team and management is top tier.

The staff here is outstanding. We helped our daughter move in from Richmond, Texas to an apartment here and after driving 4 hours we arrived a little late on Saturday and thought we would not be able to move in until Monday, but Shanike went out of her way to come to the office and assist us with moving in even though it was her day off. She was a lifesaver and we are very grateful for her professionalism and empathy for our situation.

Shanika and her team at the Ivy are amazing! The application process was very easy and seamless. They made my move-in very simple compared to other apartments Ive lived at in Dallas. The apartment complex is close to everything and Im enjoying living here. I enjoyed the fact that the internet and cable was already provided and I didnt have to call an outside company and wait a few days to have it installed. I would recommend living here to anyone!

Recently moved to Ivy urban and I can say so far it has been a great experience. It’s pet friendly and the amenities are great. Two decent sized pools and my favorite is the gym. Also areas are always kept clean. It’s quiet and the people here are friendly.

Just moved from California to Dallas and was kinda worried about finding a cool place to live. I stumbled upon Ivy Urban Living on my first day here and Im so glad I did! The apartments way more spacious than I expected – plenty of room and modern stainless steel appliances that make it feel super sleek and new.Big shoutout to David at the front desk, too! He made the whole lease signing thing a breeze and had my apartment ready to go from day one.

I have nothing but good things to say about this complex, especially the management. Lauren, Selena and Juan were always attentive and did their best to help me out in more than a few situations. They were always easy to reach by phone or email and work orders were always address and resolved in a timely manner. Unfortunately I had to move for work to Houston but even during that process they were extremely helpful and made things easy on me.The refurbished grill and pool areas are really nice and youll often find many in the community out there enjoying themselves on any given day. The community is a good mix of people from all walks of life too. Young professionals, families with children, etc. Ive only ever had good encounters with my neighbors while I was there.If I had to name any drawbacks it would be the parking situation, having a limited number of free resident spots within a small gated area while often alot of paid covered parking goes unutilized. Guests had to park in the limited areas along the street which sometimes got crowded but it really never ended up being too much of a problem. That may just be part of living this close to downtown.Anyway it may not be resort living but Ivy Urban was a great place to live and great value for the location and amenities offered. I would definitely recommend someone looking to rent if youre looking to live and work reasonably within the city.

Due your own due diligence before reading the reviews here and not checking out this apartment complex for yourself. I have lived here for two years and I can say from personal experience that the 2.7 rating isn’t justified for my living experience.The previous management here would have earned close to that rating, but the current management is working very hard to make everything better. They have made several upgrades to the pool and grill areas as well as the business center and gym.The urban part of ivy is really cool they have the option for upgraded apartments with smart home capabilities (code door lock, thermostat, lights). So if you’re into home automation I would check this place out.Maintenance requests for any apartment complex are challenging but I can say from personal experience that emergencies are taken care of ASAP, and you get response emails from management fairly quickly for regular calls which is nice. As far as the work completed I have 0 complaints.The only thing I would change is the parking situation, you currently get one in-gate parking pass per apartment and you have to pay for a car port monthly for any others. This can be frustrating at times because there will be no regular parking, but tons of empty car ports. You end up having to park on the street, which leaves your car available to break ins. It’s an unfortunate fact but living in the city and having to park on the street leaves you more vulnerable to break ins.

I lived at Ivy from July 2019, and will be leaving April 2021. Nowhere else can you find as much bang for your buck in such close proximity to Uptown. My unit was newly remodeled when I moved in, and I wound up saving $200-$300 in an apartment comparable to what my coworkers lived in, in and around Uptown. The staff was friendly, maintenance was swift, and the package system worked great. As a young female, I was never nervous about living alone or uncomfortable in the area. If I ever needed to move back to the city, I would gladly move back in!

I have lived here one month and I have been very pleased with my experience so far. The location here is perfect and you cant beat the price of rent. My apartment has smart home technology and I am able to access it from my phone to adjust lights, temperature, and the door lock. The upgrades to the apartment are a nice touch as well. I have placed a few work orders and they were all addressed within days. One of them was fixed within hours of my request.I am very grateful for the leasing agent Julian. She has been very professional, patient, and helpful with the entire move-in process, and any of my concerns proceeding. Thank you, Julian!I like that the apartment is concerned with its appearance and its continuously working to upgrade and keep it looking nice. There are rules the community adheres to. A dog park was also added, and to my knowledge, they are putting up bag dispensers/trash cans for people to pick up after their pets.The neighborhood itself is in a high traffic area. However, I have not experienced any issues with excessive noise or loud neighbors. Its really quiet.Parking within gated areas is for residents only. The streets lining the apartments are for guest. The streets are usually full. Parking is a bit hard at times for guests.Living here means you will have to use Spectrum, because the apartment bulk buys the service and it will be included in the utility bill. I dont mind. Its a flat fee for cable and internet.Overall, if you like being in Dallas and in the heart of the city minutes away from just about everything this is your place.

Ive lived here three years, and though there have been some ups and downs with my experience here, overall its been very good. Management staff is very nice and helpful, though issues arent always resolved as fast as some people like. Thats going to occur anywhere. Weve always been treated very fairly and they have worked with us when weve been unhappy about conditions or fees. They are not money grabbers, my rent has not gone up substantially year to year. You cant beat the price for the location.On the flip side of location, it is in a sketchy neighborhood. Crime occurs, but Ive never felt particularly unsafe. Common sense precautions are necessary here as everywhere - dont leave valuables visible in your car, dont check your mail at 3 AM, always be aware of your surroundings, keep valuables off your balcony, dont give out gate codes, etc. Dont make yourself (or others) a target. The management has increased police presence and holds monthly crime watch meetings to help residents help each other stay safe. Also, the area is improving as the surrounding neighborhoods are rapidly gentrifying. New high end condos and apartments are going up everywhere.I would recommend this complex to friends and family, acknowledging the issues with location and age of the buildings. Property management has been great, theyre constantly working on improving the living experience, including safety, for tenants.

I love living here! Its been great since Marilu first helped me get into my apartment and she hasnt stopped being amazing the 6 months Ive been here. Maintenance is always super fast at addressing issues, the pools are clean AND open, and the 24-fitness center has done my body good. Annnd they regularly have cool community things like yoga in the office after hours.

In the few months I’ve been here, I’ve not had a bad experience even since the first contact I made. They made the move in process really easy. When I got covid in December, Juan listened to me about potentially not having rent and trying to help think of a way to help me. Thankfully, it didn’t come to that but Juan was attentive and empathetic. I’ve seen one bug in the 4 months I’ve been here, and since I’m terrified of them, maintenance even came and got it for me. (That’s embarrassing but I’m grateful). Maintenance is quick to respond and fixes everything quickly. I haven’t had anything needing to be repaired since move in, which was just little touch ups that may not have been realized during the process of getting the apartment ready for the next tenant. All of the residents I’ve met have been super friendly as well.Management is very understanding and super friendly. I’ve noticed that all you have to do is communicate and ask, and they will do what they can to help.Before I moved in, I saw negative reviews and now from living here, I really don’t see what everyone could’ve meant from their reviews. I’m super happy with where I’m at. It’s such a good location. Target is around the corner as well as a Kroger. There’s banking, fast food, Walgreens, gas stations and CVS around the corner too. I hate Dallas traffic so I enjoy having things close by with side streets so I never have to use the highway except going to work. Deep ellum is 6 minutes away, so super close without the Deep Ellum pricing.I’ve enjoyed my experience and I would recommend this homey place.

Ivy Urban living has been a great experience so far! My roommate and I moved in May 31st, and although we have had a few ups and downs (Like a flood from the apartment above us, and some issues setting up Dwelo) This leasing office has taken Resident care to the Next Level! The night our apartment flooded, we found out that a new resident above us had accidentally busted the waterline (oops) and we got all the water at 11:30pm on a Saturday.... Now seriously, how often do you hear about apartment maintenance taking time out of their Saturday night to bring mops and towls to help you clean up the leak? Almost Never! But the 24 hour maintenance crew at Ivy was at our apartment within 30 minutes of our call with towels and mops, and even stayed around to help us clean up the water. It can be very hard to find staff members that care about the comfort of their residents for more than a rent check, and these leasing agents and maintenance crew 100% set a high standard for the rest of the complexes. Thank you Ivy for always being on top of it. And a special thank you to Juan at the front desk, this guy seriously deserves a raise. Not only is he always near the phones or ready to help when you have questions or concerns, but if he missed a call he actually makes it a priority to call you back. Blown away by customer care, and look forward to living here the rest of the year!!

Ive lived in this community for two years now and Im very happy with living here. The location is great with only a short walk to west village. The management team is friendly and responsive and willing to take care of any issues or concerns. The units are nice especially for the price. Its one of the least expensive options in the area but you dont suffer on quality. Even though weve had a few maintenance needs, the lead maintenance guy is personable and has a wealth of knowledge.

I have been living here since December 2015. Current management is by far the best, they always get things done in a timely manner. If I need something fixed it’s always fixed right away. Love the convenience of the location, the amenities of my apartment such as my smart home and the hub Is also a nice feature. I think it’s great place to live and very affordable for this area.

At first when I moved into Park Gates we had a problem with my apartment. The staff took control of it immediately. I am very grateful for that. Jonathan is my go to guy whenever I have a situation or problem, but all the staff is helpful. My neighbors are very friendly and helpful. There are some kinks in the apartments like gates and such; but as of right now that is being taken care of. I do enjoy Park Gates, it is a very convient location for me and decent price. They fixed my apartment up nicely, the only problem is there is no lighting fixtures in the room, but that can be taken care of with a hanging lamp. I do highly recommend Park Gates!

I lived here for a year and I have to say that the best reason for my staying and not breaking my lease was the former Manager Sam and the present Asst. Manager Christan. If ever I had a problem or something that needed to be done to my apartment, they always got to it. Of course everything could not be done as quickly as I would have preferred, however, it got done and I was pleased. They always met my concerns with a willing and concerned ear. That matters to me. The neighborhood has gotten to be a bit much for me and the caliber of people I encountered was more than I could stand. But once I turned the key to my place, I was in heaven. I must say this was a saving grace for me as I had just moved to Texas and they (Sam, Mark and Christan) helped me to get into my place with ease. Thank you again Christan for doing such an outstanding job in making me feel as though my concerns mattered.

Moving in during a pandemic is obviously not easy but the team at urban ivy were beyond helpful getting out of my old place and safely into my new home. I love the neighborhood and the location is great. Once the world is back to normal I know I’ve chosen a great spot to be able to enjoy the city and come back to a spot that’s tucked away.

The new management company is.awesome, they actually care about the residents. Not only have they made progress on all the stuff that the other management company failed to complete but.they are totally remodeling the whole place, inside and out. Let me tell.you first hand that the renovated apartments are beautiful. I know its hard to put faith in trust in a management company after being burned so many times but these guys are awesome GO LBK. I would refer these apartments to anyone

I have lived here for well over a year and although Ive had concerns or issues just as I would anywhere I rent or own I have ALWAYS had my concerns addressed and fixed in a timely matter.The office staff and maintenance is very friendly and helpful.The property is maintained and looks very nice despite the surrounding neighborhood. I believe it is some of the very residents that do not abide all guidelines that actually make the complex not appear as nice as it does at times because they have items outdoors that are restricted , dont pick up after pets or throw trash where they please but maintenance goes by and cleans up daily.As for the issues of crime I personally have not had bad experience however crime occurs everywhere and especially a little more frequent in the area that we live in as well as uptown. Monthly crime watch meeting are held with Dallas PD that keep us updated on the type of crime occurring in our area as well as neighboring areas and give us advice on how to handle situations. Unfortunately the very people that complain of the crime issues do not attend these very meeting to deter themselves from certain situations.Location is perfect for myself as the nightlife, restaurants, museums and parks are within minutes of here. A quick $5 uber drive away. You cannot beat the price you pay in rent for the location. I would recommend this property to friends or family.

Great new management. i love all the improvements. but the area has an issue with homeless ppl breaking in cars. Ive lived her for 12 months and had my car broken into 3 times. 1 car twice and my second car once. the staff is great but behind the curve on keeping the residence safe. I really wanted to rate a 3 because safety is a big issue at night. and the mailboxes are horrible. the dont close all the way half the time and at any given time ive walked up to the mail boxes and multiple boxes are just open with ppls mail in it.

Edit: I’m honestly so sad we moved out. I can’t even remember all the little things that I loved about living here but I wish I didn’t move. I really don’t know why there’s such a low rating here when it’s not that bad. I’m sorry Ivy.. I never meant to hurt you 🥲My boyfriend and I went in last Thursday just to check it out, when we called we were quickly answered to and got to view the unit same day. Iveth was super friendly and attended us with urgency. After seeing the place, we fell in love and decided to take it for ourselves. Iveth has been timely with responses to our questions and helped us through the process, easiest move in in a long time! The property was just bought out and we were informed updates will be made to the community, we are very excited!* will update at the end of lease

We’ve lived here for about 6 months and I can’t complain, the management is always so helpful anytime I call or stop in. When it comes to parking, as long as you have your parking sticker you are fine if you don’t then you shouldn’t be parking where you don’t belong 🤷🏽‍♀️. As for the homeless... we live in Dallas not much more i can say, if you don’t want homeless move to the burbs.

I moved into Ivy a month ago. So far everything is working well. The grounds are kept. The amenities seem to be working, the pool area is clean, the mailbox area is clean when I pass through. The office staff are always friendly, helpful and courteous to me. So far I like the atmosphere here. My neighbor has been here ten years; so that should be an indication that it’s all good👍🏽
