Pros:-Quiet-Dumpster and recycling available-Management and maintenance are typically quick to respond-Pool, hot tub, gym and dog park are nice. Amenities are a little small, but it is also a small community.-Finish out of homes are stylish-Washer, Dryer and appliances included-Attic space-Front and back porch-Prices are comparable-All maintenance is taken care ofCons:-Security gate is almost always left open on one side-Lots of junk/expired registration/no registration vehicles taking up spaces with no repercussions.-Parking is a free for all unless you pay for a garage-The garages are deep but narrow. You have to hug one wall in order to be able to get out of the car.-Cheap flat paint on walls makes them easily markable and hard to cleanIf the vehicle and gate issues were remedied, Id give them 5 stars.

My boyfriend and I are absolutely loving living at Horizon! We moved in last August into a one bedroom unit but ended up transferring to a three bedroom in May! The transfer was super easy and the property manager, Jarred, was super helpful during the whole process. The only thing I felt that was missing at this community was an on-property gym, which is actually in the process of being built right now!! We are so excited to see that come together within the next few months. The pool is amazing and the other residents that I have met are super friendly. My dog loves playing at the dog park and the grounds are well-maintained. If you’re looking for somewhere to live, that’s a bit outside of the craziness in downtown Fort Worth, but still want to be close to a lot of shopping and different restaurants - this location might actually be perfect for you!

We moved into the community May of 2023 and we just signed another lease for 1.5 years, we love our 2 bedroom unit, yes parking is a struggle if you do not pay for covered parking or a garage and the walls are hard to clean but other than that we have had a great experience here.

I lived here for a year after graduating and absolutely loved it. The only reason I moved was because I’m getting married and got a house! It’s in a great location and nearby anything you could want/need. The grounds were always kept clean and any maintenance request I made was responded to within 24 hours. The people at the office are amazing and so kind. I was there when it was called Avilla and the transition of management to Horizon was seamless. The pool is amazing and everyone I met that lives there were so friendly. Even though everyone has a yard and most people have dogs, it wasn’t loud at all. There was occasional barking but no more than I hear in my neighborhood now.

I have been leasing apartments for over 25 years and Horizon at Ridgeview is hands-down the absolute best experience I have ever had. The Community Management staff is amazing, especially Jarred Osterman. The service was warm, attentive, professional and he genuinely cared. Jared followed up on-time to all commitments and was just a pleasure to work with. The units are with quality fixtures. The grounds are flawlessly maintained and the maintenance team is prompt , personable and professional in the rare scenarios when you need them (Such as the time when I stuck 2 large chicken breasts into the garbage disposal).I only move out because I needed to move to another city to be closer to family, if I return to the area, Horizon at Ridgeview will be my first choice.

We just had the best tour today with Shandi! We loved this community! It has a neighborhood feel, but they are apartments. The fitness center is nice, but a bit small.

We just recently bought a home, but stayed at Horizon for a year. We started with Avilla Fossil Creek and the management was less than stellar. Once Horizon took over, the management was phenomenal, the leasing office was incredibly helpful and nice, and truly felt that they care about their residences. Highly recommend this place! A BIG shoutout to Jarred for being extremely transparent and helping us through the move-out process and always answering our questions. Best property manager we’ve ever had.

Avilla at Fossil Creek was our home for 14 months and served its purpose! A great in-between / transition home from renting to owning. We lived at Avilla while building our first home and it prepared us for all that comes with homeownership - with the addition of awesome maintenance staff and community areas! The Avilla staff was so accommodating and understanding as we neared the end of our rental agreement. Thanks all!We would recommend Avilla to anyone looking for more privacy and space than an apartment, but without the responsibility of ownership!

Nice houses with own yards. Interior of houses are quality with walk in showers, granite counters, wood molding. The new complex managers are on top of things! A step up from the original ones. Overall, a fairly quiet neighborhood.

Cute little houses! One thing I do wish is the one bedrooms have a pantry lol its very hard to fit everything in cabinets. Other than that staff is super sweet and very responsive
