I been living here since 2017 till 2022 I only left because I moved to northside this apartment is amazing. And I came back here with no hesitation 2024 to be closer at my job. And it’s because their service is great. All of them in the office are very pleasant and professional including Ms.Mayra. They always greet u with genuine smile, any concerns and issue you may have they took care of it right away. Ever since I lived here 2017 never once I had to wait for someone to fix something, but anyway I didn’t really have much issue with the apartment coz they are properly maintained. NEVER open a ticket to fix AC.. Not once, unlike other apartment almost every 2-3months something is broken. Never had a problem with infestations, I have been to 3 units here, because I moved to bigger unit. U will never see bystanders, this is a peaceful place. Never once got broken-in and whenever I go on vacation, my package sitting at the door for days.. never get stolen.. I never had a bad experience at this place. I tell you what, many people don’t put a great review because they just wanna keep a good neighborhood to themselves. Years back they have low score on review, made me second guess myself but I gave it a shot. This complex came along way.. they made a lot improvements, including driveway, buildings, gates, upgrading their AC. Better management. Keeping the complex clean. I can’t express enough how happy I am living in this complex. And I wanted to give a big shout out to all maintenance team for keeping this complex awesome place to live. And management team that is always there to provide a solution for you.👍👍

The staff is friendly and reasonable. My apartment was clean with new carpet and they answered the claims identified on the move in inventory form immediately. The pools, although small, are maintained crisp clean. Would highly recommend if on a budget.

I have lived here for going on 3 years now I have had no issues with residents everyone is nice and friendly and sticks to there own. Maintenance is always on point and fixes any issue I have within same day or next day . I love the office assistants they go above and beyond . They replaced my old fridge with a new one after the storm and have always worked with me and been there to assist any needs . This complex is more like family than a traditional apartment I enjoy living here.

Im Mrs. G., Ive lived at Heatherwood Apartments for 3 years now. Stephanie and Mayra have always been professional, warm, and courteous to my son and I, and I really appreciate knowing that I can contact them if there is a need. And the maintenance crew here is so efficient and nice. They come within a day to repair or replace anything needed in our apartment, and I am very grateful for their quick response. Thank you!

I have been here for 7 months and I personally do not think its bad for the price. My only issues are the humongous potholes and the scamming Alpha tow truck company. The leasing office agents have always been attentive and professional with me. I have not had any safety issues thus far. Every time I have had a maintenance issue it has been fixed if not the same day the next day. I would recommend this property for the price. There is security at night. But all in all if you like to have company over this complex is not for you because they will tow your car and it is 252.56 to get it out of the storage. Also, lock your doors because the tow people will go inside your car. !

Aloha 🤙🏾 Heatherwood Apartments, it’s been such a welcoming place to live for the year that I have been here, sucks that I never got to the pool area lol, but for feature tenants I want to say that Nancy & Myra is awesome leasing agents to work with they are very prompt on everything & makes sure that all maintenance work is within 24-48 hours, i loved staying here it was very peaceful, only thing is I wish they had a gate code to keep non residents off property, or when ordering door dash it’s difficult to get them in after office hours. Overall would highly recommend this property, mahalo to all the staff members who did such a great job of communicating & getting things done in a promptly timely manner. This review is long overdue for HeatherWood Apartments. I have been living here since January 14, 2017.First off let me just say that the front office staff cannot be beat. Their concerns about their residents are genuine. The manager, Stephanie Gomez, does not play favorites. She will help to resolve any conflicts between residents, and if all fails, both will get a warning of eviction if peace does not prevail no matter who was here first. Myra Manzanles is the leasing agent who listens to your needs and tries to accommodate you. Nancy Mendez is the assistant manager who makes sure the residents and property is in good standing. They do all of this with a genuine smile, concern, and professionalism.Next is the maintenance crew. Maynor Mendoza is lead maintenance, Agustin Delgado is assistant lead, Pedro Valdes is the ticket runner, Gerardo Cardenas is the porter, Yanira Hernandez is housekeeping and Juan Geleano is the make ready tech. When a work order is put in either they come out the same day or the next morning. You do not have to wait long for assistance. I do not have roaches or mice problems. They make sure all holes are plugged up, there are no leaks anywhere, fire extinguisher is full, smoke detectors work, air and heat operates well, etc..Third is Corporate. Once the work order is finish, Corporate may call you to see if the job was done and how well it was done. If need be, you can easily get a hold of Corporate. They will listen and address the situation.Finally, we have security and an answering service for after hours.And you cannot beat the pices!

Been living here since 2017 from 1 bedroom move to 2 bedroom.Office staff is professional. They are great people I always spoke to Ms. Stephanie and Ms.Mayra.. they always willing to answer your inquiries with a smile no matter how busy they get. They took care the open ticket we request whenever something is broken, like faucet dripping or sink grinder not working.. or roof leaked but didn’t get to check if it gotten 100% fix since it hasn’t been raining heavy..They also conduct a competition like Halloween or Christmas decorations in your patio to where the winners get credit on their rent. I guess to encourage everyone to decorate to have a great decorations to see when u where around and to feel the spirit of holiday. They also conducted a 4th of July cook out at the pool.there’s also 24hour security guard around. One at day time and one at night. Since weMoved here our car or unit never got broken in.. Ooops don’t jinks it.. we feel safe.. I can walk around the neighborhood late at night to get my mail not seeing any by standers. It’s peaceful..If there is a negative thing I can say is sometimes the dumpster gets really full during holiday to where trash up to the ground but it’s out of their control there’s no trash collector during holiday duh..! And trash collector doesn’t pick up the trash outside the dumpster, so the maintenance staff pick it up to put it in dumpster.. see how awesome they are, so doesn’t really bother me..then people Living here wanna put a comment that trash is everywhere let me tell you some maintenance team had to always sweep because y’all throwing your trash everywhere and have the audacity to complain.. who trash is that anyway..But I do have some good neighbors too there’s one time that I’m carrying a heavy box full of stuff and got busted at the bottom. There’s a lady at her patio came down to help me out we don’t even know each other like that.. but the effort she did to help me out..the owner of this apartment must be really blessed to have this amazing team fromManagement to maintenance staff that works hard to take care the tenants and still able to smile in-spite of being tired from working. Oh and the apartment gate is always broken someone must be doing it on purpose but management never get tired of fixing it for our safety. Since I moved here I seen a lot of good changes.. the road been fixed too, years ago.. I hope other tenants would check their review and see the improvements, that y’all didn’t see in other apartments.No one ask me to wrote a survey but I seen other apartments and I realized how blessed I am to be part of this apartment neighborhood.Overall I’m one of the happy and satisfied tenants..!

I’m writing this review regarding Myra M.Myra was always welcoming whenever I went to the leasing office. She always greeted me with a smile and excellent professionalism. It didn’t matter if she was on the phone, with a potential resident orcurrent resident, her welcoming attitude never wavered. She wants every resident or potential resident to feel special at Heatherwood. I moved to be closer to my 77 year old mom who has health problems and also to help in getting her to doctors appointments. Ms. Myra, I will miss seeing your smiling face and positive attitudeS Posey

The changes and updates have been amazing! The staff is very professional and quick to respond, always in a positive way. The entire property is well lit at night with a security patrol. My wife always felt safe when coming home at night. We had a very positive experience and would recommend Villa Serena - Heatherwood Apartments.

I have been living there for almost 2 years now and it has been pretty good. Very nice office staff, very good maintenance staff, pretty quiet. The issue I have is the parking. Most Apt have their fences to be visitor parking but at the apartment you can count how many visitor parkings we have (about 10 -12 for the whole complex) Its very bad especially when you have guests coming over and you have to figure out where they can park. At one point I had my car wrongly towed even though I had the sticker on it. Please Heatherwod Apt CREATE MORE VISITOR PARKING. Thank you.

So, everyone knows this is the start of the hood, on the other side of 59 is where you will find girls walking the streets. Untill recently HPD has been stepping up efforts to clean the streets. But I have been living here for about two years now and I can say things have improved to the point of considering renewal of lease. My first year here there were pot holes, non functional gate, and gunshots from what I assume across the street.But for the past couple of months the parking has been repaved, the gate has been fixed, and crime seems at an all time low.Im only giving 4 stars because visitor parking (of around 10 spots) seems to be perpetually full. During the summer the pools are never open, and the washing machines and dryers never quite work.But for the price you get a one bedroom with great people working at the office and quiet neighbors. So its kind of totally worth it if youre just a single person.

She is super professional and have great customer service. I’m excited to move somewhere that is so helpful! They say employees make the work place.Well, all i can say is Stephanie is the best, she is very calm, patient.. And has an very outstanding rapport to follow thru with the future Tenants.. The women at the desk in the front is professional also. But one of the employees was very rude to me which i didnt appreciate, so i did not want to ask her any questions. i just left because i had to go back to work. Overall its a quiet place which helps the reviews.

I have been living there for almost seven months and I consider the apartments to be very good and at fairly comfortable prices. Despite being on Braeswood Street, it is a very quiet and safe area. All the staff who work here are very friendly, from the women who are in the leasing office to the gentlemen who perform maintenance. Every time I have needed something, the staff who works here are 100% willing to collaborate. During this time I have realized how the administration has been very concerned about improving every day. Two months ago they paved and painted all the roads and also repaired the main entrance. Finally, there is never a problem with parking because there are always spaces available.

They are excellent, I dont know why some people criticize my apartment. Something was ruined the day I called and they repaired it, I liquidated the sink and they changed it, the cooling was ruined and they changed it for me. They are excellent, the street is a little damaged but not Everything can be perfect, right?

I like everything except the car parking because there is never any parking available at 12:30 am and several cars come back and forth and there is nothing I think they get bored you leave the cars I loved the way some sleepless nights and others I sleep at night
