I just moved in and maaaannn to tell you how helpful the maintenance guys are, when I first moved in Chris came in and checked everything and went above and beyond ensured everything was set and ready for me to move in. I had a decent time moving in.Just had a maintenance request out in and John and Jimmy came in no time and got it resolved. Again 10/10.Leasing office personal where really helpful! Had Abby, Janine, and there’s a new trainee there and I feel terrible for forgetting her name but they have been nothing but helpful.Now the complex it’s self is a bit dirty but what can you expect, you can’t always have people be the best. I know they are trying and it’s coming to the end of winter so looking forward to summer and seeing if this place can come back to what it was a few months ago.

The Maintenance team is amazing. Johnny Is the one who does most of my work orders and I do not have to ever call for a second time to have the same work order completed he is always on the go with work orders, but will definitely take the time to complete those orders in a timely manner and in a professional manner, he does not rush his work. Carlos The supervisors is on top of everything when you tell him there’s an issue. He will come over personally and check it out when he has a moment. Lurch, Chris, Jacob are also really hard at working I am constantly seeing them around the complex run around like chickens with their heads cut off. I am so thankful for this Maintenance team and their hard work and I’ve never had to call more than once for a maintenance issue and it is 99% of the time completed within 24 to 48 hours of the issue being sent.

Chris responded to my emergency call regarding a leak coming from my furnace in the middle of the night on Jan 23rd. He was very polite and knew exactly what was wrong. He continued to do what was needed to stop the leak and to prevent damage to the ceiling and walls until it could be repaired in the morning. As a tenant I appreciate our maintenance people like Chris at Hawthorne Hills.

I want to thank the maintenance team for their work. All the guys are responsive and kindly. Knowing that in my house they dont wear shoes. Johnny brought shoe covers with him. The request was about the tap in the kitchen it was making noise. It was processed after a few days. Johnny fixed the tap. The tap was replaced with a new one. I also want to say thank you, Chris. Today I wrote a request about a broken socket. And that same day, Chris fixed it for me.

I have been living here for a year and I love it here I have had zero problems with staff and the maintenance men are amazing they take care of all of us and keep up On everything and every problem weve ever had They just came around today just to replace fire alarm batteries and to replace air filters they regularly check up on us and make sure that we dont need anything And the leasting staff are amazing as well Theyre very Kind And helpful And always willing to help Is Well kept They always keep up with the Landscaping sprinklers Etc In my experience all the dog stations have been stocked with bags Some people dont clean up after their dogs but maintenance seems to be doing a pretty good job with keeping up with it we are definitely going to be signing another lease and we appreciate everybody staff and maintenance men in these apartments

Johnny V. Is an amazing maintenance employee. He is very attentive, listened to me not to just respond but to help fix an issue. He came to “fix” my washer unfortunately as luck would have it my washer did not act up the way it was when wasn’t here lol. But he assured me he did a reset and if I have the issue again to let him know and he will take care of it. He is very friendly and I know he has his residents taken care of. Thank you Johnny V

Extremely kind staff members but one thing that bumps them to a 4 star instead of 5 is that the building hallways are dirty and unclean. But my family told me that these apartments are 10x better than the other ones they live in so I would rate it 4.5 stars if there was an option. Also the maintenance team is surprisingly quick. I also like there’s a lot of trees and somewhat of flowers (I wish there could be more though) which makes all sorts of animals come like cute bunnies, bees, squirrels, birds, etc. I love the morning chirps. Although, i found 2 rats near the garbage area and the balcony…+ I forgot to mention that Hawthorne Hill Apartments is in between 2 Commuter Rail stations and the nearest one is Northglenn & 112th Station which is a 10-15 minute walk which is an awesome source of transportation to Downtown or other suburbs. One more thing is that it’s kinda annoying in the gym that the fire alarm is always active 24/7.

My experience moving into Hawthorne Hill was great right from the start. When my girlfriend and I contacted the leasing office asking if there were any available units, we received a warm and welcoming response very quickly. The application process as smooth and inviting, and we were so excited to move into our new apartment. Cassie helped us immensely throughout the application process, providing quick responses and information about our move. The property is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of amenities for residents and their guests. When we moved-in, the apartment staff was helpful to quickly fulfill our service requests so we could feel at home. I’m very impressed with Hawthorne Hill and look forward to being a resident here.Update: After living here for a little over a year, I am happily renewing my lease. I have thoroughly enjoyed living at Hawthorne Hill Apartments, with little to nothing to complain about. It has been very peaceful and the complex and grounds are well kept by the amazing and friendly maintenance crew. Management has always been kind and thorough with their interactions with me, and the amenities (such as the gym) are top notch. I feel like I am getting great value out of what I pay on a monthly basis, and I look forward to another year here. Great work by the Hawthorne Hill team!

Cassie in the leasing office always makes my day when I see her. She always makes you feel like you matter, and she always has a smile on her face!I choose Hawthorne due to the location, the safety ratings, the school district, and the layout on my apartment. I like all the upgrades they have made the last year! New gym, game room, facelift of exterior. And very thankful the construction is done, only for the noise being gone! The crew was always clean and respectful. (I live right above and next to the whole project!).I highly recommend this community after being here almost 2 years. 😄

Absolutely 5 Stars!! Maintenance came to fix some things in my appartment earlier this week. I was extremely impressed. There was alot to be done and in less that 30 minutes everything was fixed and the quality of work was outstanding. The manager Carlos was flexible around my schedule and very polite. They went out of there way to provide me with touch up paint for my walls without any hesitation. All in all I had a great experience. Thanks guys!!

I recently moved here, and I think it was the best decision my husband and I have made.Maintenance is the best. They are very friendly and speedy!The leasing office staff is very communicative and so nice!!This is a peaceful community, and that is so important to me because I have a little one. I live on the first floor and don’t hear anything from up stairs. Which is extraordinary because that was my one fear prior to moving in.Everyone greets one another and offers a helping hand!I love it here!If you’re thinking about renting here, do it! What are you waiting for??!

My hot water heater went out and needed to be replaced. I called the main office to put in a maintenance request. Eric from the maintenance team showed up within 30 minutes of me calling the office. He was very professional and friendly. He even fixed my screen door while waiting for the old water heater to drain because he saw it wasnt closing at the top. When he was done replacing the water heater he went the extra mile and swept out the closet to clean it up a little. Thank you so much Eric for your hard work and fixing the water heater so we can have hot water again!!

We recently moved into our apartments and had a few minor work orders, and we are so happy with the maintenance service. Erik was able to come by the same day and get everything taken care for, plus whatever he saw that needed work on. I feel comfortable knowing that I have reliable and knowledgeable 24/7 Maintnece service!

After move in, I had a punch list of a few items needing maintenance. Turned in the list to office manager who immediately entered the items into the system and about an hour later, they came to fix everything! Ken and his helper were friendly, professional and knocked out the repairs in 30 minutes. What an awesome job everyone in the office and maintenance has done to make my move go without a hiccup. Ive lived in many apartment complexes in my day and I can honestly say, I have never seen a more efficient and personal rental experience than what this team provided...and all during a pandemic! Great job everyone!!

I moved in here in April we have had some issues minor but the maintenance men and office staff are so on top of our issues and fix them right away it blows my mind compared to my last place. I am so happy here so far. I love the staff and the maintenance men. Very hard working and actually listen to your problems! Just wanted to give a shout out and let them know how good theyre doing. And, one more thing I would like to add they ALWAYS are on top of keeping the property CLEAN and the lawn taken care of. So 100% for Hawthorne hill! Thank you guys!

I have been living in this complex for about 5 years. The maintenance team here is awesome and friendly. Carlos and Ken are both very good at communicating when something inevitably breaks and needs repair. The front office is polite and gets back to me quickly. Cant ask for much more.

My husband and I just moved from Wisconsin and this is the biggest and nicest place we have lived so far. Maintenance came the day after we reported issues for the move-in condition of the apartment and both gentlemen were friendly and kind and fixed all that could immediately be fixed on the spot and let me know an estimated timetable for the rest. Jennice in the office is kind and friendly and helpful and efficient!! We love our home and the location and cant wait to use the pool, gym and business center!!

I will preface this with the negative items first:Dryer wasnt working when I moved in, the closets didnt have hanging rods, and I could probably urinate with more force than the hot water pressure offered in my kitchen. The maintenance takes a MINIMUM of 2 FULL days to fix something. (So if you put in a ticket mid morning on Tuesday, it likely wont get touched till Friday). Youre charged for property upkeep but the grass is mostly brown year round, and more times than not the hot tub is a pretty shade of unnatural green. If you email your renters insurance or other important documents, make sure you follow up. I sent them my renters insurance and was still charged for THREE MONTHS because they claimed they never received it. They also didnt reimburse for their mistake. Its a big property, just make sure you take care of your stuff through completion and youll be fine.That being said, the staff is delightful (and Ive dealt with some doozies when it comes to apartment staffing). My apartment is beautiful. Its very quiet. Ive had zero issues with car break-ins or property damage. This is literally my most favorite apartment experience; Im sad to be moving out of state. Highly recommend.

Very efficient. The staff is always nice and friendly to me and my child. The amenities are nice like access to a grill and bonfire like resting area as well as a clean pool and hot tub. The community and its jungle gym is kept very clean. I have met a variety of friendly people living here as well. Living here was one of my best choices. I would recommend to family and friends in a heartbeat.

I absolutely love the 2 bedroom 1 bath. We technically have the one bedroom one bath with the den. Please be warned that building 4 & 5 are absolute disasters. Parking is a nightmare. Construction workers are constantly going in and out. Somehow, the residents in 527 always seem to be the worst kind of people. Cassie is not genuine. Danielle is rude. Office staff have misplaced packages of ours in the past at least twice. Love, love, love the apartment floorpan. Hardwood floors on the first floor but no fireplace. Different front desk staff would make the experience 100% better.

The staff are all really nice and helpful! Great apartments! They could use a few things like new windows (ours leak and with the cold weather the bedrooms don’t hold heat well). We’ve put in a few maintenance requests and they’ve been on top of them and got the issues fixed right away!

My review of the complex is broken down into separate parts to touch on everything Ive experienced.Applying and Move-In: This was a very easy process to go through, both my girlfriend and I have decent jobs and good credit with no criminal history. We got approved for our apartment within 24 hours which was awesome. The application process was pretty seamless, I provided the necessary documentation along with paystubs. We moved in April 1st and that was pretty easy as well. We had some initial issues with the apartment falling on the vendors that prep, clean, and paint for the next resident. The paint job was sloppy getting paint spots on the wood flooring telling me they didnt even put down a drop cloth or plastic while painting and you can tell in areas where they didnt paint or didnt tape. In some closets up top they also didnt paint the ceiling because of the difficulty to get up there. The carpets were not cleaned either. We ended up vacuuming twice and carpet cleaning after finding the prior resident had a pet. Other than minor issues falling on the vendors, not the complex itself the apartment is beautiful, renovated with new appliances and provides a great modern lookMaintenance: The maintenance team was awesome though, they picked up where the vendors left off and fixed what they didnt. They replaced our washer that wouldnt run through the rinse and spin cycle, fixed broken outlets, repaired a broken screen window, etc. They are friendly to talk to, if they move anything in the apartment they move and return everything to the way it was. They left a work order ticket on my countertop when I wasnt home detailing their work which was appreciated.Outdoor Grounds: The overall outdoor appearance is neat, there is a landscaping company that comes and takes care of the majority of the grounds from what Ive seen. They do a good job and clean up after themselves. The maintenance team also works outdoors too and does a great job. My only minor issue with the parking lot is the pot holes near the main entrance into the complex. I would love to see those fixed with time. I look forward to using their nice pool and hot tub this summer.Front Office: Unlike what some reviews have said, I have had nothing but a good experience with the front office staff. Cassie has been my main source of getting things fixed. I was able to meet Autumn the complex manager the other day and she is a super friendly person to talk to. Remember these people have a healthy workload managing an entire complex but are working to resolve your issue as fast as possible. They have provided me with great customer service and I do not have any complaints.Amenities: I look forward to using the pool and hot tub this summer. They look really nice and are well kept areas. The gym I look forward to seeing new equipment down the road. The equipment is outdated and old but is still functional for a good workout. I would like to see a wider range of equipment such as a rower and more cable machines.Local Area: I love that this complex is located where it is. It has a lot of local shopping and quick access down I-25 to Denver or up north to the new shopping outlets. Its still out of the way that its pretty quiet at night with minimal traffic.Overall its a great complex thats affordable and beautiful. I could go into more detail but I think this provides a thorough review of my experience. More often than not disgruntled residents and upset people that leave reviews as Ive read. Hopefully this can provide a better picture to anyone that is interested in renting here later down the road.

We rarely hear any noise from our neighbors even being on a first floor unit. Our experience continues to be wonderful!

I stayed here for two years and had no problems. The neighbors were friendly and the property was kept in good condition. The only issue was that some residents didnt clean up after their animals and management did try to curb that, but some things are out of their control.The initial management team was not as friendly as the new team the new owners brought in. Marked difference.All in all, it was a nice place to stay and if Im ever in the same situation, this would be the first place Id look to go.

Recent new hires in the front office staff have made the office experience absolutely wonderful. They listen to their tenants concerns and respond with respect; they also get things done in a timely manner. Our experience living at Hawthorne Hill has been excellent! The grounds are well kept by the friendly maintenance staff and we definitely feel safe in this complex. I would highly recommend renting here to anyone that is looking for an affordable, family friendly place to call home!

I been here over a year and probably will be moving out and I can’t lie I am kind of sad. Due to work opportunity. I really like it here . I won’t lie during summer the water bill gets a little pricey but it’s manageable! They are nice and worth it . I’ve never had any issues with the office staff. They’ve all been so wonderful helping and very attentive . Every time I needed assistance requiring maintenance they always came fast never waited for long periods of time . Not true about only having to pay rent in person I pay mine at king soopers with the rent card. And they do have online billing and pay. So I dont know what that other Lady is talking about . It’s not ghetto never really no drama or nothing ! Very quiet place I think ! I feel at home here . Keep up the good work Hawthorne !
