Im recently moved to Harvest apartments. The apartments are amazing also staff members are so cooperative they are above and beyond with their customers service, they always help me whenever I needed help they will respectfully helped me and solved promptly and appropriately. Especially Liz, Ivon & Amanda these girls are fantastic. Additionally this apartment is conveniently located nearest of all necessities, especially for Young professionals. Im Satisfied 😊

Enjoyed my time here! Leasing office and Maintenance were always helpful since day one. I like the area and is very calm. I made few friends with long time residents and if I was back in town I will definitely go back here. This was a better experience in comparison with previous apartments.

I moved in this past weekend and so far my experience has been wonderful. I was already having a rough day and was dreading going to check in as that can sometimes be a bit of a headache. Amanda assisted with move in and was so friendly and made everything go so smoothly! It was a breath of fresh air. I also greatly appreciate that when I turned in my inspection form that the few minor concerns I had were discussed with me immediately. Ive now had the pleasure of talking to all the ladies in the office at some point and they have been phenomenal!!

I am in the process of moving into Harvest Hill Apartments. Ive signed my lease and done all the things but I am transitioning from my current place. I like having a bit of overlap between my current place and my new place to address any concerns before moving in. This way I can get all my services installed and do my own deep clean.So far, the leasing office has been great with following up and taking care of anything needed. They are responsive and helpful. Any maintenance was handled quickly and correctly.I can tell the property manager or owner is working on updating the property incrementally and has been doing updates to the units. My place is a clear indication of that (new appliances, new carpet, fresh paint). The complex was not recently built and I did see evidence of roaches during the showing so I was aware there might be some on move in. This is typical with older units and wasnt showing signs of a heavy infestation problem.I have since bombed on my own and put down preventive measures. I did my own deep clean (which also let me know that the place was cleaned decently before move in since it wasnt covered in grime) and have been back each day to check and the last week there were no evidence of the bugs. With regular pest control, I do not see it being an issue.I also stop by randomly at different times of day and night to gauge the community activity. The gate is always closed and locked, its quiet and peaceful. I also do this before I see an apartment to check the neighborhood but since its a gated community it is hard to check the apartment complex.I was given information on how to register my vehicle and how to register frequent guests. Access is controlled and also made easy for residents to manage. There is coffee and there was a resident party in the leasing office for the holidays.No place is perfect but I do think the value you get for the cost here is worth it. The location provides great proximity to a lot of different activities in the city and is close to public transit. I had two different random conversations with residents when I stopped by at different times, during my application process, that gave praise to the property and management of it. I will update my review at the 90 day mark after I have lived on the property for a while as well.

I stayed with Harvest Hills Apartments for 3 years, and it was a good experience. The transportation is close and very convenient, with a lot of activities to do nearby and close to the Medical Center and Downtown. Liz and Ivon are extremely friendly and very professional. Definitely recommend for any students who are in school nearby or anybody who works in the medical field in the Medical Center. Thank you so much.

The apartment is excellent in condition. It is freshly painted and carpets are clean. Appliances are modern and in good working order. The layout is spacious with large living room and an open kitchen and there is ample closet space. The neighborhood is vibrant and safe. its a lively area but still quiet enough for a good nights sleep. The apartment is close to several bus stop and tram. There are several medical schools nearby. making it a great spot for families. Management is generally responsive and handles maintenance requests promptly. The staff is friendly and professional.

I wanted to share my positive experience renting with Harvest Hill apartments. I used to live here for five years before relocating to another state. When an opportunity return to Houston arose, I was able to rent another unit from Harvest Hill through their coordination. They were accommodating of my relocation and were professional in their processing of the application. The experience was smooth and the staff were friendly and professional. I look forward to starting my new lease.

I just moved in this August 2024. It is a very nice place to live in for newbie. Well organized apartments. Have a wonderful swimming pool, a blessing to cool down in this hot and humid summer apart from exercise. Ample parking plots allocated against apartments. Wide surronding area and greeneries. Easy access to halal food shops, large chain shops like walmart or HEB and houstown downtown. Fenced and security ensured gates. Their service response rate is also satisfactory. For any isssues, Liz and Amanda are very much helpful. Lots of Bangladeshi and Indian neighbours.Only thing I see, there is no dedicated gym or workout space. It would complete the apartment space with all basic facilities. Service fulfillment time could be faster. There are some problems regarding roaches, thefts of car wheels etc, which should be improved. After I moved in, I found several problems, but upon informing them, they have fixed it within shortest possible time.Till now, overall good experience living here. I hope HH operations will keep up this good experience for a long time.For future residents, just REFER MY NAME during lease sign to get huge discount for the rent :).

I just moved in last week and so far it has been good! The staff in the office are incredible and very responsive to any problems. The only reason I took away a star is because there is a slight bug problem but as soon as I mentioned it to the office they sent out an exterminator. So far so good here at Harvest Hill!

My experience at harvest hill has been absolutely fantastic. I am moving out now to a house, but I lived here two years.The location is great for what you are paying for, being in a relatively safe area while being close to downtown, river oaks, hermann park, etc. There isn’t much in the direct vicinity, but there is a nice walking trail in walking distance. I enjoyed being able to bike to Rice University on the weekends.As for the apartment itself, it got the job done. It wasn’t flashy or lavish, but I really enjoyed it. I wish the kitchen and living space was a little bigger, but the big room and large closet made up for it. I lived on the second floor, and the balcony was nice to have.The pool was really nice as well. The only thing I wish they had was a workout room or gym.The management has been super great throughout the whole time. They are very responsive, professional, and very welcoming. If I ever had a repair that needed to get done they were on top of it.Overall, this is a fantastic place for people that want to live close to everything in Houston but get a great value as well.

A really underrated apartment complex and close to the medical center if thats where you work or study! I did extensive research on over 25 apartments/condos in Houston and this was the best bang for our buck in terms of space and location. The people in the office are very friendly and have monthly events, and the in-unit laundry is very convenient. From what I can tell, the area is very safe (You can see my door from the road and Ive accidentally left my keys in my door multiple times and nothing has ever happened lol) and we have not seen any roaches or had any pest issues (we live on the second floor) and pest control comes by routinely. Its quiet and people are friendly. If rent doesnt raise on me, Ill definitely stay!

The apartment had no issues and the view from my apartment with the trees and street was very nice (I lived on the second floor) The staff made sure all was taken care of during my time here. So far so good. I had an issue upon first arriving and the management quickly fixed it. The staff is friendly, the apartments are clean and bug free, and the neighborhood is friendly. Access to 610, 288, light rail system, and or the medical center in general, is superb. This is my second time to be a resident here in the past 10 years, and highly recommend it to any students or hospital employees trying to stay close to work while balling on a budget.

I have lived here for a Year now and it’s a great place to be honest when you factor in a couple of things . 1) it’s a central location and proximity from the downtown area is about 12 minutes away. 2) The staff is great and very friendly, Sandy always bakes some delicious cookies. 3) Its quiet and peaceful, most neighbors are working class citizens. 4) They are very quick and responsive to work other whenever there’s fixings needed. 5) They always send out alerts to notify tenants of water/heat shutoff for regulatory maintenance. Overall for the price and location I definitely recommend.

Lived here temporarily for 6 months and i can honestly say we never had any major issues, only once did our garbage disposal stop working but it was fixed the same day. The apartments werent the most luxurious, but they were cozy and I never felt unsafe. It was a fairly calm and quiet complex

We have been residents of Harvest Hill for 4 years and have had a good experience. Although they are not luxury apartments they are affordable and in a good location. Staff and maintenance crew are consistently nice and very helpful. We have only seen 4 roaches in 4 years because we stay clean and are on the second floor. No flooding. Awesome pool. Relatively safe- we have known of some robberies to cars and one of a unit below us. However, day to day we feel totally safe.

The grounds and the pool are kept nice and clean. If you need to live near the Medical Center, I recommend you move here.

I been here 7 months now and I wouldnt change my decision for anything. I love love living here, you talk about quite. If you love quite and a piece of mind this is where you want to live. The staff is amazing and so sweet, they make you feel at home. We are like one big family here and the neighbors are so friendly and polite. Every holiday no matter what it is the manager Mrs. Liz and the rest of the staff makes sure the do something and they dont leave anyone left out. They just threw a summer Lu out and it was some much fun, like I said everyone here is family and I had a blast. I will be renewing my lease when the time comes because my husband loves it here as well. We dont have no problem with roches or any other types of bugs or rats they are fast about fixing things when you put in an work order they on it. Sooo to Harvest Hill thank you all for everything and I love you ladies.

Pros:management actually cares. I was there for 4 years and whenever i had a problem I felt like they took the is seriously and resolved it. Heads and tails above other apartments on this front.Quiet apartments, no hassle parking/guest parking.Cons: Security is a bit lax, and the area has some crime. Though I never felt directly in danger while I was there.Roaches are an issue, but can be mitigated if youre proactive about it.Overall I really like the apartments and would still be living there if I was living in town. Despite the cons, Id recommend this place to live.

We have had nothing but a great experience at Harvest Hill apartments - the office staff is friendly and response time to maintenance requests is very quick! The outdoor areas are clean and beautifully maintained, and the pool always looks nice. Rent is competitive for the area, but this is much more like home than the other larger complexes in the area. We have not lived in apartments for a very long time, but this has been a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

Just moved in about two weeks ago and so far the community has been nice an quiet. ALL the wonderful ladies in the office are super helpful and pleasant to talk too. There is no doggy park for your fur-babies to let loose, but there is plenty of space to walk them around out back, especially in the parking lot. Great place to live at so far, easy access to the freeway, close to the medical center, the Galleria, Meyerland Plaza and many more areas. The only downside, but Im sure you can find it anywhere, is how some people litter outside and end up making the area look somewhat trashy. It just doesnt make sense to me how you can keep your home trashy. Other than that, everything has been peachy!

My family have been living in this apartment since 2015.Pros:1) Price (although in the latest proposition for lease renewal the price went up by 20$ + now we are responsible for the renters insurance.... the 400$ bonus for rent renewal will basically go towards covering the price difference).2) I rarely saw any roaches (maybe once a week, not in the kitchen throughout the last ~4 years), compared to other apartments around. Other reviews on Google state that people have a more considerable amount of roaches - maybe it depends on the building.3) Technicians are very nice and go out of their way to fix anything that needs fixing - fast and with high quality of work (balcony door, wet spot on a carpet after 3 days of rain, various bathroom area requests).4) The ladies in the office are very nice. I never felt being treated disrespectfully (again, despite some reviews on Google).5) My packages, left at the office, were always distributed to me without any problem. Yes, sometimes there are too many packages to look through, but it is easy enough to help in looking for your apt. number.6) The apartment was not flooded in Harvey! The cars, if left closer to the building, were also intact.7) From time to time there have been nice treats for the residents, like Saturday morning breakfasts.Cons:1) Trash valet. 25$ a month. No option to turn it down. Did not use it more than once a year - it is just such a hassle to take that huge trash can in and out of the apartment every day - I much rather would walk with a bag a 100 feet myself. Total waste of money.2) In the least expensive apartments there are no lights in the rooms. The kind that is in the middle of the ceiling hanging lamps? No such thing. That was a surprise upon the move-in. In the booklet it is said no ceiling fan. It should be No ceiling lamps... or fans. Of course, nothing that a couple of floor lamps can not fix.3) Washer/dryer outside the apartment. It is 1.39$ for 1 washing or drying cycle. It adds up.4) Safety. It is not recommended to walk late at night, even on the apartment premises - suspicious individuals are lurking in dark corners at night. It became worse after the cameras were removed, a couple of years ago. Also, the gates are a joke. I found about Harvest Hill from the net, and then I had the chance to meet the office staff Sylvia and Verna such a grate and helpful ladies. Both are so helpful, understanding and clear. I had a chance to notice how efficient, active and nice when dealing with residents and the delivery persons who came around when I was sitting waiting for my apartment keys.I moved to the apartment and it was in excellent condition, clean and everything in good working condition as promised by Sylvia and Verna. I am confident I will enjoy my stay in this community.

Of course, Harvest Hill is not a true 5-star apartment complex. This is very easy to see. The buildings are old, the concrete is cracked, units are plain, and theres nothing particularly fancy about this complex.However, I do consider it a diamond in the rough FOR ITS PRICE and LOCATION. I lived here for 2 years, from 2015 to 2017 and will share the pros and cons and why I gave it 5 stars:Pros:• Very low price in comparison to many apartments in the area.• Very good location, walking distance to NRG and short drive to the Medical Center.• The management and staff have always been courteous and prompt with me. They are straightforward about prices.• The parking is plentiful.• The complex is quiet.• The grounds are kept clean and manicured, although it’s nothing special to look at.• Very minimal pests. Just clean your dishes, folks. I had maybe 5 roaches in 2 years.• Minimal maintenance ever needed.• The water is fine.• The laundry machines are, for the most part, fine.• The gate system works. And I never heard of any crimes happening while I was here.Cons:• When you drive out of the complex, you have to wait for a long time at the Holly Hall light just to perform a simple U-turn and head north.• You have to recharge your laundry card using a machine that is only accessible during office hours.• They are starting to charge for valet trash, which is a bad and expensive feature, especially when the trash dumpsters are so close by.• Appliances are old.• Very little in the way of amenities. It’s very bare bones. No fitness center.Overall, I enjoyed living here. I thought it was a comfortable home and a great place to save up money since the rent is cheap. I would really consider it 3 stars compared to all other apartment complexes, but I am entering 5 stars because for this price and location it’s hard to beat. It costs 1/5th the price of complexes that are just a mile down the road.Definitely consider Harvest Hill for your next home if you want to live near the Medical Center area.
