I recently moved into Harpers Retreat and so far, my experience has been exceptional! The management staff went above and beyond to help me find the perfect apartment. They were incredibly accommodating, taking the time to show me all the amenities and available leasing options to meet my immediate move-in needs. The team was thorough in explaining the entire process, including any associated fees, which made everything so clear. Even after moving in, they’ve continued to be responsive and prompt with any inquiries I had. On top of that, the rental rates and incentives are unbeatable! I’m thrilled with my new apartment and look forward to calling Harpers Retreat home. Highly recommend!

I have been living here since July and overall it has been a great place to live. My parents came and looked at it for me because I was moving from out of town and Barbara was such a sweetheart to them. She was patient with all of of the questions and when I came to move in she was patient and so sweet with me too. They are pretty good at getting back to emails/questions/concerns and I met one of the managers younger guy and he came out of his way just to introduce himself to me which I appreciated. As far as maintenance goes, they are also the best!! I put in maintenance requests a couple times a month and they always get it done even when i’m at work and they leave their card to let me know they were there. They are patient as well and kind and extremely helpful as I know nothing about maintenance stuff. I was timid moving here but the staff has made it so welcoming and peaceful and like home to me and I just love it.

I have lived here for a few years now and am happy to say the last few months there has been a huge change on the property. One of the biggest issues on the property was the constant mess at the trash compactor. It was always packed with big bulky trash that just sat there and people would leave there trashbags infront of the dumpster instead of disposing of them properly. I see that new staff was brough in both to the front office and also the maintenance workers. We receive emails letting us know to please be responsible with the way we dispose of trash and also of our pets. The property is kept clean, it is rare to see trash in the parling area or on the sidewalks. The gates are finally working all the time, they had been open for many months without any repair in sight. I have had my work requests handled the same week I put them in the system and the guys that come through are always polite and quiet. They come in do what needs to be done and leave. The last time I requested work because I had an issue with my dishwasher and the gentleman that came fixed that and noticed some of the bulbs in the kitchen were out so he went got new ones and replaced them for me. I was so glad to see that. In the passed my request for repairs would go unattended for months which was very frustrating. The young lady in the front office is also very kind and polite. Any time I need help with the rent portal she is willing to help even though it seems like she is usually alone working the office. I appreciate her attention to detail and follow through whenever there are any problems. Over all it feels like the property is being taken care of alot better than before. The pool is always clean and the gym door finally works with the app so it isnt kept open for anyone to just walk in. I appreciate the level of security and attention to detail that we have now. All the lights have been replaced outside so it is bright at night so we can see and feel safe when coming home at night. The apartments are really nice and with the upkeep that is being done now, it does feel worth living here.

I have been living here close to 4 years and have decided to continue living here as I have always enjoyed the management, property, location and luckily I have some great neighbors. The maintenance team/ request seem to be better than before which is extremely promising. I haven’t had any issues and with the new management team (Dustin and Barbara), I see they are really trying to rectify some issues that were present before arriving. Once we get the back gate and front gate fixed I’ll be a happy camper. Barbara is truly amazing and you can tell she is passionate about her career and the community. That was one of the main reasons I decided to stay, since finding a management team that actually cares and works hard for you is hard to come by! Thanks management/ maintenance team and especially Barbara your hard work is not going unnoticed and I appreciate it!

I’ve lived at Harper’s Retreat for over 2 1/2 years and have always had a good relationship with management and the maintenance staff. In fact, I lived here before and moved out of state, and then came right back here when I returned to Texas. Any questions or requests I’ve had have been handled with professionalism, and maintenance issues have been completed quickly and correctly. I’m lucky to have polite and friendly neighbors. While no apartment complex is perfect 100% of the time, I’ve never had anything truly bad happen to me here and I have zero complaints. Current management is doing a great job, as far as I’m concerned. 5 stars!

Harper’s retreat new management is awesome! I reported the trash issue by the compactors for months to the previous manager and office staff such a big issue with people pilling up their trash and it being left there.previous management would just leave it there and do nothing. People still do it but maintenance now cleans it up by 8am everyday which is awesome!!! Finally people who actually care about how the property looks and keeping their residents happy. The new leasing agent Barbra has been very helpful and professional always at the office with a smile on her face keep up the great work guys!

Im updating my review from a 1 star to a 4 star. The previous management of this apartment made my life a living hell. The new management, Barbara, has been incredible making up for a lot of hard times I went through when I first moved in. She is stretched thin, but I must say she outshines the two terrible ones that used to run this place.. they didnt care AT ALL about their tenants. Barbara cares! Thank you again, and many blessings to you!

I would highly recommend these apartments! I moved here for my first apartment & i absolutely loved it. While moving out on my own I was already nervous enough, but the staff made the transition very simple & were very nice throughout the whole process.The area is safe and the complex is beautiful. I would walk my dog late at night and felt completely safe. The neighbors are great and quiet. The manager (Laura) is amazing & her staff is just as great, they are able to satisfy every request & in a timely manner. The amenities are wonderful & always kept so clean! I love how the Staff stays connected with the community by always hosting events! The prices are wonderful, apartments are clean, parking is not too bad. The apartment also came with a wash/dryer which was a great feature, so convenient rather than having to buy one. If these apartments were located in my home town, I would forsure be staying!!Trust me you will NOT be disappointed with moving here. Thank you Harper’s retreat for a great experience!

We just moved in and omg, the property is pretty. Yes people sometimes don’t clean up after themselves but the office team do a lot for residents. The maintenance guys are always working when I see them. Thank you for all you do guys. Looking forward to being here for long time

I am completing my 1st year with Harpers Retreat! Management team has been nothing but helpful, kind and sincere, Any concern I have had they addressed immediately and they also address concerns that effects the entire community. As a single person, I have never had any concern for my safety for myself or my property. The community is very peaceful, I love the community events and amenities. The location is great, close to everything! Thanks for everything Esther, Megan, and Robin for being so kind and helpful, and making my stay at Harpers Retreat amazing. Thank Gina WThe world is our to make it better while we can! We receive from it what we sow into it. If we sow selfishness, it will become selfish in giving to us!

I love living here !!!! The staff is remarkable they help with everything with no delays very quick on their feet. They are always quick to assist whenever an issue arise. They love making the residents feel at home and also are very happy to see us when we come in the office. I wouldn’t choose any other place to live. I enjoy harpers retreat as if I’m enjoying Cancun. 😉😀 also I love Esther. She is so professional and very courteous!

We have lived here since November of 2017 and we absolutely love it! The grounds are wells kept and the facilities are in great condition. The pool is super clean and relaxing. Also, the staff is very helpful and nice. If you have an issue with rent or maintenance, they will immediately take care of it. The management team also hosts residents events like BINGO! We love attending these events and cant wait for more!

Scheduled a tour on a weekend, decent prices for the area but the build quality isn’t that nice. Amenities are pretty standard, and everything seemed well kept. Floor plans seemed a little cramped but doable. Leasing agent was really nice and informative.

From the very minute I stopped in to look at Harpers Retreat, I was made to feel like I was already home. The application process...simple, the Staff....Whitney, and Jessie, and Chris...outstanding! I LOVE my new apartment. The pool is incredibly relaxing, my apartment is spacious enough to feel like Im not in an apartment!! The Kitchen....wow, its Huge, and I cook all the time, and not once have I wished for more counter space. My neighbors are friendly, and I even know most of them by name at present. This is the place to be!!!

I have lived at Harper’s Retreat for over a year now. I love living in this community! The front office staff is responsive to needs and is always helpful and understanding. The community is kept clean and neat and maintenance requests are always completed promptly. I haven’t had any issues with Harper’s Retreat, and I look forward to continuing to live here!

Ive lived here for 8 months now and have never had a negative experience living here! My apartment is really nice and the grounds are always kept clean. Anytime I need something at the leasing office, Aerelle is always quick to answer my questions and help me. Highly recommend living here :)

This is by far one of my favorite apartments I’ve ever lived in. The staff is helpful and attentive. The apartments are clean and spacious! The pool area is always kept nice and the location is perfect for anybody who wants to live in the Woodlands.

Plus, the property is constantly hosting resident events like bingo and food trucks which has been a life saver more than once after a long day.

Love my apartment! Ariel was extremely helpful the entire time! i had viewed them online before but after walking through everything with her i felt much more comfortable with my decision. she took the time to help me figure out if it was something i could maintain or not money wise, answered every question even if it was something i shouldve know as a renter and not only was genuine during the process but has remained very caring toward me even after i signed the contract. (which ive notice leasing agents are sweet until you sign the lease and then all the sudden you dont matter) If youre going to check these apartments out, i would highly recommend requesting an apt with ariel before you go!

I went to tour these apartments and my leasing consultant, Aerelle, was beyond welcoming! She made me feel important while giving me the run down of the complex. There was always a smile on her face and you could tell that she goes above and beyond for her residents. If you ever go to tour these apartments, ask for Aerelle!!! She will make your tour memorable and fun!

It was wonderful. I came 3 times and the service was the same. I also requested things they did not have. Super helpful. This was actually an apartment I was not scheduled to go to, it was the one down the street but the service there was not at all good. They included me on the decisions made to my apartment. I went to 6 apartments and glad i found this one.

I could tell the property is well managed and well maintained by Aerelle’s enthusiasm and attention to detail. If I choose the harpers retreat it will be in large part due to Aerelle’s willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to provide great customer service.

Excellent job, very attentive and competent, this new administration. Dustin excellent job as manager unlike the previous ones, always attentive to the residents and their needs. The change in this property has been noticeable without a doubt. Super recommended this apartment complex.
