I have lived at the property for quite a while now, and have experienced a lot (to say the least). There have been ups and downs, and several bumps along the way, but recently Ive noticed a drastic change around here. Im not one to typically leave these, but after my most recent experience with the new Community Manager (JD), I felt compelled. I work in customer service, and deal with my fair share of difficult people and situations on a daily basis, so I know how challenging things can be. Ive had negative experiences with the staff in the past, to the point I almost moved out a few times. However, this place has done a complete 180 in my opinion, as well as several others (were a pretty close bunch here, and even have our own private group page). After going back and forth through emails, and meeting with the new manager, I really feel our voices have finally been heard. The property looks and feels totally different. The halls are clean, we can actually use the amenities again, theyre doing events for the residents, and the list goes on. I recently looked at another complex and considered moving, but have decided to renew my lease again. I feel like I can speak for the majority when I say that we are in good hands, and look forward to even more great things to come. Fantastic job Team Ella, and James, keep up the great work!!

TL;DRPros:—Spectacular Front office and Maintenance Team +++—Clean units, never saw a hint of pests ++—Great location ++—Beautiful park +Cons:—The park behind the complex is owned by ACC, who are lax on Leash Law enforcement and poop bagging (the complex has no control over this and has reached out numerous times to resolve the issue but ACC doesn’t seem to care) -—The residents (and non residents) who do allow their dogs off leash are a mixed bag, ranging from courteous, to troglodytic, rude, entitled, narcissists who will berate anyone who wants safety for their own animals and selves - -Overall 5 stars!Full Review:First things first, and for me most importantly, the staff here is wonderful. I moved in to this complex because I saw the reviews praising the the team here, and I was not disappointed. Christina (I really hope I used the correct spelling) and Carmen, along with the whole Ella Parkside team was just great.We just moved because our finances changed and we have a little dog, so when I found a screaming deal on a duplex with a yard I couldn’t say no, but I would absolutely love here again if circumstances allowed it. Maintenance was almost always prompt, and when they were backlogged a gentle reminder always saw someone come out same day. The appliances didn’t feel like the cheapest they could find and we generally had few issues.The front office was always fast to reply, exceedingly courteous, and friendly. Most importantly they are very very fair, and prioritize integrity over the bottom line. We received 100% of our security deposit which is almost unheard of with corporate landlords in my experience. When there was a snafu on my end and they didn’t receive the notice to vacate I had sent (the email I used through my college had been having issues), a quick conversation was all it took to get everything sorted out the same day, and they honored our lease end date even though it was only a month away. These are the kinds of personal interactions that were characteristic of our entire time. I never thought I could write high praise of my landlords in my life, but this is a team of genuine human beings.

This has been my best experience as a tenant by far. Ive lived in several different apartment complexes and buildings and Elan Parkside has really surpassed all of those. Samantha P. the leasing manager has helped me so much and has always been available to me since day one. I moved here in January 2017 and havent had any bad experiences at all. When I renewed my lease here I told Sam exactly what I wanted from my next apartment (to live next to the elevator, more space, bigger balcony) and she made it happen. The Elan team as a whole including the maintenance crew are very personable, professional and funny. The team does an awesome job at bringing the community together through karaoke nights in the lobby or wine gigs and etc. The lobby is awesome, I love watching my favorite shows with friends or grabbing coffee there before my shift. The amenities are legit from the pool to the gym. The fob access makes me feel safe and thats super important for me since Im a female living alone. My dog and I love living here and thank Sam and the team for making home feel like home.

Best amenities in town, or especially this part of town! The leasing team goes out of their way to take care of their people, and are always there to help! I love this pool so much, and I can go anywhere I need on foot! The apartments are nice inside, and feel brand new!

My roommate and I lived here for a year and a half and we had a wonderful experience. Management changed three times during our tenure which was a bit challenging at times, but overall it was always organized. The property was kept very clean, safe, and maintenance was good at following up. The most recent management has been exceptional, they have made really great changes to the community like adding amazon lockers for package delivery and James is always great to work with, not to mention he is amazing at building a sense of community within the complex. He helped us through our move out, making the process very smooth, we will definitely miss living here.

I give this place 4 stars because location is great! I am 15 minutes from everything. I feel safe here as well since we are in the middle of ACC campus , there are so many cops around. I love that there is a parking garage so I dont have to worry about people breaking into my car. The management team will work for you and I am appreciative of their efforts in making this place feel like home. Also no bugs! which is a major things for me. The maintenance team is great too, if you put in a request they come the next day. This was my first apartment and I have been living here for 2 years and I highly recommend!

Sad to move out, just bought a home. Highly recommend. Highland is a cute upcoming neighborhood, lots of new stuff walking distance. Super dog friendly. The people in the front office are really nice and are always trying to help, even walks out to give my pup a treat. My pup will surely miss Carmen but she’ll have a full yard now. I had couple issues as expected in apt living, you can’t choose your neighbors right, but the staff is communicative and repairs are completed in a timely manner, respectful maintenance and venders too. Had great times at Ella, thanks everyone. ❤️

Leasing office is easy to work with and the apartments are nice. Having the choice to use the gym, the pool, and the community rooms are also nice. I love these apartments. Ill start by saying The gym is amazing with lots of equipment and its never overcrowded. Theres a nice sun lit pool. Great neighbors and really helpful and friendly staff. They are quick to answer emails and Maintenance is on top of it! Over all they have earned my 5 star review!

After living here for three years, we have gone through a company management change and a couple different managers. Ive loved my time here, but by a certain point it had its challenges.However... The new property manager James has been more on top of it than any other property manager Ive had at any complex Ive ever lived. He has done every single thing he has committed to and said he will address, and everything is pointing towards a better and better experience here at Ella Parkside. More stores are coming in, and ACC is practically completed so it is a good time to check the facility out.The pool is phenomenal and the gym is solid. The amenities are great with a good community here at this complex looking out for everyone.Thanks James,Jake

Love this place. Been here for 3 years and it keeps getting better. Great community, solid gym, awesome pool, good coffee in the building and 3 coffee shops a close walk away. My roommate and I are wrapping up our third year at Elan Parkside, and while no apartment is perfect, weve really enjoyed our time in this community. The pool is gorgeous, the backyard dog park is ample space for both humans and furry friends to to roam freely, the quality of construction is pretty good, and the surrounding area is really coming together as construction projects around ACC come to a close.What prompted me to write this review, however, is that our buildings staff is thoughtful and communicative. We had some repairs done today on our water system from Winter Storm Uri that required the water in the building to be shut off (again). They provided every unit with two 24-packs of water bottles and paid for a food truck to serve us dinner this evening. After that catastrophic weather nightmare a few months ago (the aftermath of which was also well-handled by our staff, IMO), my roommate and I were both really impressed with this level of care and attention to detail from building management. Thank you Elan Parkside!

This place is located only a couple minutes from downtown and has a great pool as well as large pet area in the back of the property. It was a bit of a mess before the new management took over, but James the property manager has made several huge improvements to the security and cleanliness of the place. He is literally amazing...whatever he is being paid is not enough! He has been so kind and helpful!

Disregard my previous review:Shortly after I left the review James was let go. The staff that has taken over since him is absolutely horrendous. They could care less about the safety of the residents or keeping up the property. It’s a total dump. It’s so bad that I have chosen to break my lease early. Do not move hereI have been a resident at Ella ( Elan ) parkside going on 3 years now. I cant say enough about James the new property manager. Since he has come in, he has completely turned this property around. Knowing that James would be the property manager I decided to renew my lease, when previously I was more than ready to move. Thank you James for bringing Ella parkside back to life

A place to call home! If you reading my review while considering moving into Elan Parkside, instead of skipping to the end let me give to you after 15 months here: YES! YES! YES!Besides the obvious to the eye beautiful design, amenities, great apartments layouts and the most perfect pool, the staff here is the best!Samantha Perez, the leasing and community manager is phenomenal. Shes always kind, attentive, getting stuff done - she was just as amazing with us at the first time we came in for a tour as she is a year and a half later as residents with all our requests, issues and wishes. Always pleasant, with a smile, and a positive attitude that passes to her team in the leasing office. Francheska and Rickie are charming and fun! Always greeting and paying attention to you and your family, helping with anything you need and both really makes you feel at home the moment you step foot in the building.I highly recommend to come by and tour with one of these really great people, and remember these are the faces youll want to see when walking around your new home :)The maintenance team Matt and Denis are so great as well. They hold the place up and running, fix everything you can imagine, take care of property so you can just enjoy it and doing so with smiles on their face, quickly and quality. Needless to say, all of these guys here are smart and knowledgable and fun to have conversations with.My family and I love it here!

I’ve lived at more than 5 different places here in Austin, from West Campus to downtown, and have never met a greater leasing office!! They have been so supportive and accommodating with every concern that has come up since I’ve been here, they’ve even stayed after hours to help me with payment issues! Maintenance is also such a breeze, This weekend he showed up at my door 3 minutes after I sent an emergency maintenance request and has checked up on it multiple times since then! Would absolutely recommend living here hands down 💯

The amenities and the apartments themselves are good quality. I havent had much neighbor noise since moving in 3 months ago either. The central location is also convenient to get around Austin. The downsides however are the construction noise 6 days a week (Sundays are the exception) and a lack of package lockers. I havent had an issue with a package going missing, but I would rest easier if we had package lockers, especially once I no longer work from home.

Great staff and well kept property. I looked and leased due to the spacious floorplans and the fact they units with a Den which will make for a great office and place for guests to stay when they visit. Couldnt find another type of floor plan in Austin for the money, great value!

I had a great experience touring Elan Parkside. The leasing staff (Luis) was amazing, very friendly and patient with awesome recommendation on what to do in the area! Made me feel very at home. The complex itself was spacious and clean with decent sized apartments and great views (as long as youre not facing the nearby construction). All in all, very positive experience!

My roommate and I lived her for 3 years with mostly positive experiences. The ownership of this community changed during our tenure from Greystar to Valiant Residential and to provide value to those reading, these comments pertain to the new Valiant Residential ownership and staff only at the time of this review.The location, amenities, and units here are all great in total, but you will find many competitors that have similar offerings in the greater Austin area. What you won’t find elsewhere (and cannot see in photos online) is the Management Team here. The Team (headed by the Manager, James) has been making a conscious effort to field any and all potential concerns or needed improvements and addressing them head on during our time here. They have proactively held formal gatherings to gauge the interest and feedback of the community, and we have witnessed multiple examples of Management addressing lingering concerns that have gone unaddressed in years prior by previous ownership. This is uncommon in our experience and something that is often overlooked or unaccounted for when deciding on an apartment complex. We believe having a positive relationship with the difference-makers at this community has proven to be more valuable than any single amenity. Get to know the team, treat the community and its people with respect, and you will not be disappointed.

We moved in last Friday and so far this community has lived up to all of our expectations! The amenities are top-notch and the apartment itself is amazing (premium finishes and well designed floor plan).We are cancelling our Anytime Fitness membership because the gym basically has everything you would need!My only recommendation would be to add: off leash dog park, dog washing station & package locker (which I believe its in the works)

Elan Parkside is beyond amazing! I have lived at many complexes in Austin and this one is one of a kind. The interiors of the apartment complex from the clubroom down to the apartments are really modern. The pool is the true definition of a resort-styled, and I was able quit my gym membership because of the brand new equipment they have in their 24/7 gym.I do my research before going to apartments since I have lived here my whole life and there are so many complexes to chose from.I first toured with a Alex the first time, and it was okay, since I was looking way ahead it seemed like he didnt take the time and effort to show me around so I had to come back. The next time I came in Samantha toured me, and the tour was a night and day difference. She showed me the amenities, what the area had to offer, 3 different floorplans, and still asked me if I wanted to see others!Greystar truly goes above in customer service and not only is the apartment beautiful Im glad they have an awesome staff who has my back! I will be leasing in October!

The apartment and community areas are beautiful. The people who live here are so kind, we have a great community at Elan. I will say, crime is an issue here (people breaking into cars, security locked entrances have been compromised by break ins, mailboxes being forced into, people living in the parking garage, packages being stolen from outside peoples apartment) Security needs to be stepped up, no question. Summer, the apartment manager, is very helpful when an issue like this arrises and genuinely wants to make the experience of living at Elan the best it can be. I was very disappointed with Deshelle, the assistant managers attitude towards me when I expressed how I was dealing with a crime related issue. She was not sympathetic, gave me attitude, opposed to checking the cameras and when I told her to call me back for an update, she told me I can reach out myself. If you have an issue, call Summer if you want to speak to someone who genuinely wants to help you. All in all, I am generally satisfied with my overall experience living here but there are issues that clearly need to be resolved.

I’ve lived here for just over a year and recently renewed my lease. I love living at Elan! The imenities, staff, and location are great. The pool, gym and clubhouse are resort style and you can’t really get any better at an apartment complex. I’ve yet to experience any issues living here which says a lot considering how new this place is. Quirks are usually a problem with new buildings but I haven’t ran into anything yet. The only thing is the construction in the area, but it doesn’t bother me much and they don’t start working too early in the morning. I plan on being here a long time if I can help it! :)

I went to tour the location, Im new in the area. I have to say that the manage there, his name is James Duncan was amazing. He took the time to get show me around the property and model apartments. James was extremely knowledgable, polite, and well put together. He answered all my questions and walked me through all my options. James is personable and made me feel extremely comfortable, he explained all the things he has planned for the property. I was very happy and satisfied. I recommend going for a visit and taking a tour from him.

I moved here last Wednesday and so far Im loving it! Beautiful brand new building, great amenities and everything looks well taken care of....theres no point of having a nice place if its not well maintained...so far this place has totally lived up to my expectations. Not to mention great great location...10 secs from I-35, 5 mins from lamar, 10 secs from airport blvd..great restaurants and all the other things you can think of is nearby and also the fact that it is so close to downtown. O and Austin Rail stop is nearby walking distance so one can take a train to downtown if u dont feel like driving and looking for parking downtown. Staff is excellent to say the least. Fingers crossed hoping things dont change. O great dog park to take a walk or walk w/ ur pets in the eve or just relax outside. Also quiet neighbors, great apts...and parking garage structure is a bonus..always nice to park your car in the shade in the Texas heat.
