Im a veteran who gets the discount and have been here over 10 years. Murphi the head person has been here for decades and takes care of us!! My last maintenance call was responded to in 30 minutes! This place has the perfect location next to hwy 75! Super amenities with on site police plus gated! School zone rocks and its still quiet! The price is fair for what you get! Stop looking and check this out!

This is a very good place to live. Very clean, and the management is very on top of things getting done. The maintenance crew is very good at keeping the complex clean and tidy. The office responds to all concerns or work orders very quickly. Always, and they send important emails to all residents concerning packages or pool related issues, etc. They are usually actually available to help at the office, which is also very lovely and clean and very welcoming to an amazing community. The only thing is that they charge you up the anal and it cost us almost $5,000 to move out, which makes no sense at all anywhere. they even made us pay for an extra month we were not living there. My car was burglarized twice they even ripped out the console stole the gear shift and the battery. El lago added 1 camera to the entrance Fix this. And we were forced to move to the first floor because a tenant and the staff were bullying my ESA. (Which they did not know was an ESA at the time (Discrimination) we were about to sue and probably still can. we also had to pay almost $4,000 to be forced to move to the first floor, and the rent went up to almost 2,400 from 1,700. The dog park has nothing inside of it for dogs to play or train with. Minor damages prior to moving in were added to our bill for some reason, and they made me pay for a gate remote replacement and then pay for the replacement again when we moved out. They charged us $200 on 2 separate occasions when I called the cops for being domestically abused. It was a disturbance. The reason I included these charges is so that Im not illustrating a false narrative of these people and their property.

What a nice touch. It been only one month since settle in and maintenance staff are on point. Good decision with this apartment community.

Front office, First impression. Exceptional. The reception that I received from Luisa Stickler made me feel already at home. She was friendly, Warm, patient, kind, and she Provided me with alternatives. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made my experience seamless and enjoyable. The first time I came to inquire was when I was intending on renting month to month for a period of time. Luisa walked me through all the options and even had time to tour with me to different places. However I could not proceed with that intention because of an unexpected circumstance. When I needed a place. I didn’t look any further. And the second time I walked in. I received the same reception that she gave me the very first time. It is very rare to find such exceptional services as I have been to different places of the kind. I feel confident to lease at this community. And I would definitely recommend this place. Luisa addressed all my questions and has been following up with me ever since. Looking forward to making El lago my home.

MURPHY the Property Manager at El Lago Apartments is absolutely awesome Phenomenal and operates in Excellence. Murphy is always Professional kind and helpful from the first day my son and I moved into the El Lago apartments. She is the epitome of excellence. Such a blessing to have her as the Property Manager. Phenomenal.Alyssa is also phenomenal she is always Professional kind and she knows her Job and does it in the Spirit of excellence. Dillan is a new employee in the office there and he is great a very knowledgeable and mature young man with great personality and knows his job requirements. Maintenance staff Is Great and always responds to maintenance calls promptly. El Lago Apartments is the place to call your home. Love living here. Thanks Murphy Alyssa and staff. I have lived at El Lago for four years and I love it. They’ve always taken good care of me. Recently, my oven broke and I put in a service request online. Gilberto came right away. He had to come back the next day with a part. He and Rodolfo fixed my oven by replacing the computer part and fixing some loose wires. I was glad that they had the computer part already on hand. They are both friendly and professional.

When I entered the leasing office, I was greeted by Luisa, whose big smile and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. She was knowledgeable and inviting, and the area was clean and quiet. The apartment I viewed was also well-maintained and of a good size. Im excited to move in and look forward to speaking with Luisa again.

I’m giving 5 stars based off how amazing Luisa in the leasing office was! We toured 3 different complexes yesterday and she was by far the most genuine and friendly person out of all of them. If the decision to move here was solely based off the office staff alone, we would’ve 100% chosen this to be our next home. Thank you, Luisa, for being so kind and so helpful. It goes a long way, and I sincerely appreciate it!

Lots of apartment choices in the area, many are new construction.El Lago apartments has everything I was looking for, great location, spacious floor plan, garage. My apartment was/is very clean, like new and fresh looking. Everything has been better than expected; all the office staff I have interacted with have been polite, courteous, respectful and professional. Luisa is the best, kind, hardworking and courteous. Shout out to Shera for making the application and approval process smooth and Danny for fast, professional maintenance. Alyssa is also great, responsive, and knowledgeable. Plus, there are restaurants, bars within walking distance :) . . . El Lago apartments in Mckinney is a great place to live, WFH. It’s good to have options to consider vs. smaller, overpriced new construction.

I absolutely love it here. My apartment is gorgeous and quiet. I dont hear my neighbors or much noise from outside. The office staff are so nice and friendly and helpful. I havent met anyone from maintenance because there has been no need to call them. The grounds and amenities are phenomenal. The entire place is well taken care of. Love love love it here.05/05/24 Ive now been here a full year and I stand by my previous entry. Absolutely love it here. The entire place is kept up nicely with fantastic amenities. Office staff are all very nice and friendly. Maintenance has been great. My water pressure went down to almost nothing Easter Sunday while I was cooking for a big family dinner and I panicked. Lol Called the emergency maintenance line and they had it fixed within 30 minutes. I was beyond appreciative and so happy that they were quick with the repair. When friends or family come to visit I am proud and everyone mentions how nice it is. This is a great place to live. It is a big part of my peace.

Love this place! I have lived at El Lago for over a year. Management is nice and understanding. Anytime I submit a maintenance request, they complete it within 24 hours. Rodolfo is so wonderful and helpful. community is well maintained and the pool and amenities are wonderful. The only thing I don’t like is the parking, it’s hard to find a parking spot close to your unit if you get home late at night so it’s a hassle at times.

A great community to live in! We moved in last month and the whole apartment viewing, leasing, and move in was easy. The maintenance guys are exceptional with both the responsiveness speed and quality in their work. I worked in property management for 3 years and am extremely impressed!Apartments are clean and the neighbors are friendly. There are so many pet stations all around to make pet pick up easy. No complaints!

I’ve been here for a year. Debra initially helped me get into an apartment last year and has been quick and efficient with me and my needs everytime I happen to have an issue that needs resolving. All of the maintenance man on the property are always busy busy busy. No matter the weather it seems and that just makes me feel great knowing we have guys like them on the property. And lastly I had a wonderful encounter with Luisa in the front office and she was very thorough with the information she relayed to me and gave me a step by step process so I’m not confused and or uncomfortable. Also Luisa is VERY INFORMATIVE THANK YOU EL LAGO FOR EVERYTHING UOUVE DONE FOR OUR COMMUNITY & RESIDENTS 💯

I had a package accidentally sent to my old address and Luisa was kind, kept me in the loop with when she received the packages and set them aside for me to pick up. My Wife and I have been residents since 2007, El Lago has been an excellent place to live over our nine years. Management has been exceptional and the Maintenance Technicians are excellent in dealing with all service calls made based on knowledge, expediting a resolution and personality.The Staff and Personnel are top notch in supporting this property, access to the website makes all transactions much easier to report any issues or to make rent payments.The overall grounds are kept in immaculate shape and the parking spaces are wide to avoid door dings. Collectively El Lago sets the Standard in the industry for overall execution.I have and will continue to recommend this property to people looking for a nice place to live.

My husband and I have lived at El Lago for over a year. I have to say that Im definitely pleased with the complex. The management is super nice and understanding. Anytime we submit a maintenance request, they complete it within 24 hours. Heather, Rosa, and Murphy are wonderful and helpful. We never have noise disturbances, issues, or other problems that plaque apartment complexes. Were super satisfied with my choice to live here.

Maintenance is above excellent...Franco fixed my door handle in less than a minute on a Saturday. They are very nice people as well as management. El Lago is solid in the way they run things. I have been here since 2017, and have been treated very well!

Going on my third year here and I can’t say enough about the maintenance people. They are wonderful and quick. I really do love this place and call it home. The parking is a hassle at times but I feel safe here because of all the maintenance people driving around in their carts. They know who belongs here and who doesn’t. I just wish the parking stickers would be checked more often. Especially if they are parked in the front of buildings with no parking sticker.

Very cool and welcoming vibe. Also trains dogs for fun how sweet 😋 el lago needs to give this man a raise he could definitely start his own business.

Very nice and reasonably priced community with easy access to freeways and close to schools. Staff was always nice, community was maintained well and the pool and amenities were wonderful. Great place for families with children. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Less than 30 minute commute to major employment centers in Plano, Frisco and Richardson. Lacks public transportation, so make sure your vehicle is in top shape. No pest, bugs or safety issues at all. Parking was ok. Great floorplans, fast maintenance service and easy living here. Excellent place to call home.

Just moved here less than a month ago. So far I love it. Every time I needed a repair maintenance been very fast, mostly within a day or 2. Great maintenance workers. The only thing I dont like is the parking. When I come from work after 10pm, I cant find a parking close to my home. But, I love it here.

They have 2 furnished apartments you can rent for the night. I stayed in one. Other than them not furnishing ANY soaps (dishwasher, laundry, or in the bathroom) it was very comfortable and a good value.
