    I already reviewed for a different complex owned bu DSA but I had a great experience here, Amber was super responsive, kind and accommodating and I just wanted to say that made my week :) i hope i continue to keep having experiences like that and feeling cared for. Everyone has their own view about DSA but happy to say mine was a positive one !

    I have a coworker who is looking for budget friendly housing when they move to Denton. She asked me to take a ride with her because working in sales we know reviews will paint the worst picture possible and wanted an experienced opinion. I decided to share my thoughts here too.The office staff seemed to be new. They continued to go to the manager’s office to ask questions. The manager was very helpful and answered their questions each time they went in there. So I asked and I was told that it is a new management company and Amber is a new manager to the company. One of the employees toured and applied to live there before Amber started and he said she is working 24/7 to get things going in the right direction.The apartment that we looked at (I can’t remember the name) was older and very basic nothing spectacular, apparently Dr Phil used to live there. But, it was clean and I did not see a single roach but someone was in the office asking when pest control was coming and they told them this month is the quarterly treatment.We had a great tour and when Amber came out the office she playfully told Otis to ask us for a review since we were having such a good time. I know the good ones rarely get posted so I thought I’d oblige.Great Job Otis, good luck Amber.

    Let’s be honest, after calling what seemed to be hundreds of times and not getting an answer I almost gave up. But I decided to drive by and see if there was a human alive in there.To my surprise I found out that they not only managed the property I was interested but also 10 others. And the office was full of renters and there were only 4 people holding it down. Now I understand why it’s so hard to get through.While I was there though Rileigh took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me her undivided attention.And the manager, she is a whole vibe. I couldn’t stop giggling at her and rest of the staff’s interactions. It was nice to see everyone getting along and enjoying what they do. It was hard to believe this was the same people that the reviews were talking about.Anyway, it wasn’t perfect but I was in the office long enough to see that it wasn’t nearly as bad as the reviews said and they are obviously passionate about what they do here. They don’t have the floor plan I’m looking for right now, but if I rent somewhere else and decide to move when my lease is up I will definitely be coming back to check them out. I think they are moving in the right direction bc it was better than I expected.

    I was a little hesitant to even consider this property for my daughter based on some of the previous reviews but the location is so close to campus we decided to check it out while in the area. The manager we spoke with was named Mackenzie and she was amazing! I believe the property must have gone through some recent management changes because Mackenzie was super helpful and had answers for all my questions/concerns. She was even knowledgeable about the area and gave a great recommendation for dinner in the square. I definitely recommend actually viewing the property and making a decision based on that rather than some of the reviews left already here.

    Rileigh is the most helpful leasing agent Ive ever met! She made sure all my needs were met, within my budget, and that I was able to get all my questions answered. I was able to lease my first ever apartment and it was mostly stress free! Pretty much every problem I encountered was able to be fixed easily, and I felt very listened to through the whole process! Thanks Rileigh!!

    I loved the location of the apartment! Anytime I had an issue, maintenance was always available to help. Darel is probably my favorite member of the team! He is so knowledgeable and was able to fix things in a timely manner! I appreciate him so much!

    How is Kevin not a manager!!! He is always in the office, he helped me with my whole application when i come in everyday, he is really patient and nice. Rileigh too was super cool she is really nice and offered me coffee and popcorn.

    The metro apartments were really nice, I also liked crash pads. They may be older but they are super affordable! And Mackenzie in the office helped me find out what busses take me to campus. The staff was really cool.

    I just wanted to give a special shoutout to Kevin. That guy works so hard, he worked late nights and outside office hours just to ensure me and my roommates had the apartment of our dreams. He paid a lot of attention to all the details presented and did his best to ensure each and everyone of us was happy.Will definitely recommend, ask for Kevin if you’re looking for a place

    It is my first year here at University Place and also my first time having the apartment experience. Ever since I have been living here it has been a mostly good experience. The rooms are nice since the remodeling and the area is very close to campus so I can just walk to school. When it comes to leasing management there has been a few bumps along the way. There are times when no is able to pick up the phone so most of the time you will have to go in-person to see about your problem and the laundry room can malfunction some of the time. However ever since the new leasing manager Melissa has been here, I feel like the process of requests or work orders have been going much smoother since the last management. The other staff there as well are also very helpful and nice to there residents such as Keston and Olivia!

    Ive lived here for 5 years. Ive been here through three changes in Property Owners. With changes comes new management. I have had issues prior and have failure in maintenance completing these tasks. When the Blonde Assistance manager at Iconic called to tell me the work orders I place were completed, I was ESTATIC. Only to find out they werent really done. Recently I tried to call to report an issue and failed to reach anyone and didnt receive a call back. I took this as a sign they were just like the rest. I had to wait until I had a free day to discuss the issues. The Assistant manager who seemed clueless sent me to Melissa the Property Manager. Thank gosh for Melissa. She handled the problem immediately and explained the best approach into handling the situation. Denton Student Apartment is changing and that includes management. I have had a few uncontrollable problems.

    Im updating my original review (still 5 stars) as Ive been living in my new apartment with DSA for 2 months now. I absolutely love it. Compared to the last place I lived at, this place is heaven. They are quick to address any issues. Notably, the property manager drove to my apartment on move in weekend to deliver my key after there had been a mix-up. Im very close to campus (

    I had a great experience staying here they offered plenty of quiet spaces outside our room to study, the apartments are a nice size even with a roommate, management listens to any concerns & tries to do their best on correcting any issues and maintenance stays on top of things (Darrel thanks for listening when I probably was a pain) over all I had a pleasant experience!!!!

    I really enjoy living here, everyone is very nice and if we need anything with our apartment it is fixed right away. Maintenance is always there every time when we had a chair to be fix, the shower, and even with replacing our mattress. Cant complain of Iconic Village, it has been a great experience.

    I moved in here about a year ago and was immediately greeted with numerous friendly faces. Since then, my maintenance requests have been taken care of in a time efficient manner, and I actually spend decent amounts of free time hanging out in the office with my dog, and the staff have always been super kind to me. I’m paying about $800 for a one bedroom two story apartment, and almost every single person I’ve had over compliments my apartment, for being spacious, hidden away enough to be comfortable, and for a really flexible office. All the friends I’ve met through DSA continue to be in my life, and now that I’m repainting my apartment, I honestly can’t believe I eventually have to leave. The reviews don’t give this company enough credit because they’re in charge of like 20 properties so sometimes it can feel like you’re not being heard or listened to, but I guarantee that every person in that office does literally everything they can to make sure that you are comfortable and happy in the fastest time possible. If you’re having doubts, go in and meet the staff. You might get to meet my dogs 😊 Perfect first apartment!!

    My girlfriend lives here and its a fairly nice place. The property is always really nice and taken care of, the staff is super chill with me even though I dont live there. Theyre super pet friendly and even keep treats in the office for the residents pets. Yall are doing a great job and I hope to see even more improvement. Thanks for all you do.

    This has always been a great place for Delta Kappa Alpha to meet up, whether its four of us or ten of us! The apartments are way more spacious than they look, and they have a kind of vintage feel. Its definitely a place with a lot of character, and while its not overall the best place in the world to live, it is one of the best places I could have chosen for my first apartment!

    The people here are kind and helpful. especially Mackenzie and Katie. They helped me feel right at home and answered my questions. They are also understanding when life happens.I live at Iconic in a simple apartment close to campus, bus route stops right outside, and its a relatively quiet area compared to other places I lived in Denton.

    Mackensie and Bailey are the absolute best. It has been a stressful year trying to find a place to live with my gf, full time student and worker... It has been hell. My meeting with mackensie has made every concern melt away. She went well beyond her normal duties to help me and make good on her word to me. She is trustworthy and the friendliness she brings forth made me comfortable applying to be a resident. Fingers crossed!

    The location is great! Most apartments are just a short walk away from UNT. I love the fact that pricing is very affordable in comparison to other apartments in the area. There are many different options to choose from in terms of floor plans and location. Its a great place to live if youre on a budget.

    I went to this place looking for a place to stay the next coming school year. I really like this place as soon as I see the staff and the rooms. Everything is very clean and at a good price.
