    Kaitlyn was so much help when we were looking for our first place to move into, any questions we had she answered. The process was pretty easy, it didnt take too long to find out if we got approved or not, and we were given advice on companies to go with for lights and internet. Everyone weve met has been friendly and made us feel more at home.

    I have no problems living here. The staff is always helpful and pretty quiet for most part. The pool area is real nice and my kids enjoy it. The only thing I have issue with is constant water shut offs with no warning till it happens. Also, maintenance is slow getting to work orders. But other than that, no issues for me.

    I would love to give a shout-out and a high-five and a hug to Karli Wise for all the help shes given us as new residents! My daughter is moving to Deer Wood (tomorrow actually, thanks to Karli), and Karli has been generous with her time and help, creative in solving problems, extremely responsive, and always friendly! I feel great as a parent knowing that my daughter will be living at a place with such caring management. Thank you Karli!

    I really enjoyed my time at deerwood 1 and if need presented itself i would stay again. The staff especially Amber and Haley they were excellent on meeting my request anytime something was wrong. The maintance department are very hard working men that come when you request them and dont stop until the problem is resolved. Mr. Joe and Jose were always pleasant and friendly. The only thing that i didnt like was the hot water problem. Seem like it was always down. But they do work swiftly to make sure we know and are aware of whats going on.. But all in all im thankful for the time i spent there. Never felt unsafe or in danger.

    Resident, love the staff, shout-outs to Britney and Misty. They so helped me cope with Covid and rent issues. Pools now open yall! Remember, residents ONLY and a +1. Well manicured property, maintenance staff replaced and on their game. I have no issues with my neighbors. I never hear, see, or are disturbed by them. Quiet community, working adults and their children. BTW, this review is for Deer Cross, Deer Wood is the sister property. I believe there are some units available.

    The staff has always been so helpful. The pool is always so clean and nice. The place is nice and quiet. I enjoy my time here

    Deer wood apartments have been a great place to live. They are in very close proximity to Angelina College and many other nearby restaurants and shops. The maintenance and front office staff have always been helpful and have responded to my concerns in a timely manner. I would recommend considering Deer Wood Apartments if you are looking for a nice, affordable apartment in Lufkin, Tx.

    My brother lives in these apartments. I have so many memories in the complex ranging from my high school friends living there to working for the lawn service that maintained the landscaping. If you need a place to stay that isnt very far from the college this is the best one. The rent is not very high and its close enough to other businesses you wouldnt have to travel very far.

    These are pretty nice Apartments my sister is live there for years and I used to have an awesome manager and really good maintenance since the new managers taking over the maintenance people arent that great and the Landscaping people are atrocious but overall these apartments are pretty good

    Quaint apartments nice pool and patio area even has a dog run for your pets close to Angelina college shopping and restaurants staff are friendly and helpful

    As a resident of Deerwood, I have to say that my overall experience has been pleasurable. I was not necessarily expecting to move to a different complex however, Karli was very instrumental in my decision to move to Deerwood. She showed genuine interest and Really made my transition to Deerwood effortless! I really enjoy my apartment and the property.
