    I have lived here for about a year and a half and am very satisfied. The property is well maintained, quiet neighbors, adequate parking, nice well kept pool and clubhouse, secure package center, dog friendly, clean and well kept gym, and if there is ever a problem the maintenance man Vincente or Juan come rather quickly and always take care of any issue. The office staff is helpful, and I have no problems here as it is safe and secure.

Everythings all modern and stuff, making it feel like youre living in a super cool place. The rooms are like, so bright and airy with huge windows that make it feel like youre not even inside. Plus, the whole place is kept so clean and green, with some seriously Insta-worthy landscaping thatll make you feel like youre living in a park.     Im currently looking for my first new, luxury apartment. So I came to Cortland Walnut Hill Apartments. Chauncey, is the best he was thorough, funny, kind, understanding, professional, and humble. I love these apartments. I had scheduled me a tour last Saturday when I left the apartments went home and did the application now I will be a resident at Cortland Hills Apartment so excited for my move-in this Friday.

    I toured with Chauncee and letā€™s just say it was nothing short of Amazing, his attention to detail and keen eye for his property was amazing. Iā€™ve done 6 tours today and he is the only person who has smiled and greeted me with a warm welcome, I recommend this complex to anyone who is looking in the walnut hill area. ASK FOR CHAUNCEE!!

    Iā€™m at the 10 month mark and the apartments are nice, easy location, however I work from home and youā€™re required to use spectrum and itā€™s awful. Thereā€™s constant outages and I have spectrum come out 4 times already specifically for my unit. Logan didnā€™t tell me about spectrum until I about to move in so they should make everyone aware of that. Overall the community is clean and quiet.

    I am in the process of searching for a new apartment community and decided to stop by Courtland walnut hill. Aside from the beautiful office I was intrigued by the friendly staff I was greeted immediately by who I later found out was the property manager Sabrina. She was very knowledgeable friendly and professional. I would love to have rented an apartment there just based on the propertyā€™s appearance and the friendly staff, unfortunately the commute to my place of employment was a main factor in why I couldnā€™tI had the chance to view the floor plans and they are very spacious. Nevertheless I would highly recommend this communityThank you Ms Sabrina you are the epitome of a great manager with great customer service skills

    Amazing staff, amazing management, and amazing place! I already miss living there. I was a resident for 1 year and Chauncee, Logan, Marlene and the team made living here a dream. All my maintenance requests were completed immediately and with quality as well as other request above and beyond what the office staffsā€™ job is. I highly recommend Cortland Walnut Hill for anyone inquiring about a place. The apartments were built with quality in mind and not solely aesthetics.     I was pleasantly surprised with the property from the day I visited and took a tour. What really captured my eye was the decor which is modern, simple and very functional. The location is also perfect.along with nearby shopping and a great park for walking/biking, tennis, etc... I must also add that the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, especially Sabrina Romero. Not a single inquiry was ever left unanswered. The property is very clean, as I am always seeing the staff constantly cleaning. The amenities are of high quality from the workout room, pool table, meeting center, outdoor patio, secure bicycle room and even the dog spa. Overall, I am very satisfied and will continue to recommend this place to others.

    This is an amazing apartment in Irving Texas. I love the layout and the landscape of the building. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interactive. While the amenities are outstanding,it is way too expensive for my budget. However,this isnā€™t to say it wonā€™t meet my range soon but not now. I will recommend visiting just to tour the amazing property.

    Iā€™m currently looking for my first new, luxury apartment. Was told to check out The Cortland on Walnut Hill Apartments. I called on last week Thursday and spoke to Keneshia(probably spelled her name incorrectly šŸ¤¦šŸ½lol) but she was amazing and she set the foundation of the cake. She gave me brief details about the apartments and the cost which made me want to look into them even more and I scheduled a tour for Saturday. She also sent me the info on the Cortlandā€™s sister apartments just in case. The apartments look exactly like the pictures online. Keila put the icing and strawberries on top of the cake. She was thorough, funny, detailed, kind, understanding, professional, and humble. I love these apartments. They were so clean. Everything that was on the website was true and I was in awe. So I have definitely found my luxury apartments and Iā€™m looking forward to moving into the Cortland Apartments on Walnut HillšŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Š

    Let me give a big shout out to Marlena, Chauncee, Logan, and Aaron. As well as, maintenance professionals Vicnete and Juan. The front office staff have been one of the best office staffs I have seen in an apartment community. Though some of them are no longer working in the community, I do miss seeing them. Anytime you had a concern or inquiry they were there to help with a smile and wonderful personality. If it was something that was out of their control, they were very patient in explaining the situation and would recommend other options. They also knew me by name which made me feel special, and a pleasure going to the office to see everyone. Though most of them are gone, Marlena is still there helping as best as she can, with a smile. Vicnete, and Juan have also been a really big help. Anytime there is an issue they are quick to fix it, and no job is too hard for them. No matter how many times they have to come to an apartment to fix something, they are very patient and get the job done. These are very sweet individuals, and you wont get service anywhere else like you do here. Overall, I give them all 5 stars and plan to be part of the Cortland family for a long time. šŸ˜Š

    Chauncee and Marlena are the best leasing and front desk personnel you could ask for. Marlena was very helpful with not only my move-in but also with my establishing residency in Texas. She answered my questions about picking an electric provider and let me know the information Cortland would need from me. She provided me with copies of information that I would need to establish my residency in Texas as well. She is extremely friendly and was very patient in answering all my questions. Chauncee showed me my unit and walked me through the application process, answering all my questions and provided technical assistance as well. He was friendly and patient throughout the entire process, even after showing multiple units to me. When an unexpected change occurred in the original unit I was going to lease, he switched me to a new unit and made the process seamless. When I had questions regarding my ledger, he answered them with a smile and rectified a discrepancy immediately. He ensured my unit was serviced in a timely manner and any move in issues were fixed promptly. I highly recommend this property as long as Marlena and Chauncee are in the front office!

    This is my first apartment and Hannah, whom helped me lease here was the most amazing person I worked with! Although she is no longer at this community, the front office team has been so helpful and communicative.     Iā€™ve been living here for 3mo and have had a great experience with the management team and maintenance workers. I will say the portal to submit work orders isnā€™t the best, but if you find a maintenance worker, theyā€™ll always help if you ask. The best by far is Edgar and Jose. I asked if they could lay some pipe for me ( on separate occasions) and it was done no hesitation. I was very satisfied after the pipe was laid. šŸ˜‰

    I was a little nervous when looking for a place, everything was so overwhelming. That all changed after taking a tour of the place. Lucky for me, I got to tour with Chauncee and he did an amazing job of showing me around. He was very helpful in answering my questions (which I had a lot) and he was very knowledgeable about everything I needed to know. If youā€™re on the fence about the place, take a tour and see for yourself you wonā€™t be disappointed!

    Ive lived here for over a year, and I can honestly say that these apartments are very quick on maintenance requests the rent is very manageable and best of all they have a number of payment options that can help you if you have any Financial issues paying rent I think that the payment options these Apts offers are revolutionary to the whole renting process. Ive rented from many different complexes and I can say that this one was the most manageable as well as assisting. The staff is very friendly and courteous we will probably be here for another year since my kids love the area and the school district.

    My husband and I have been here ironically since the day Covid-19 started. This is our blessing of a retreat to call home compared to where we lived before.     Ive had an excellent experience with this apartment complex. This was my first apartment home, and Adony (the leasing agent) has been exceptionally helpful. He answered any and all questions I had in the moving process and made moving into my apartment extremely easy. I really appreciated him answering my questions, even when he was working at another Cortland location that day. I also really enjoy the amenities the complex offers, and my favorite bonus feature is the trash bins outside each apartment home so that your trash isnt flooding the hallway. Overall, I am glad I made the choice to move in here and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a new apartment home!

    My mom has always been from apartment to apartment in multiple cities and Beckett Park has been her best experience from beginning to end by far. Moving in was a breeze and the staff especially Jasmin was always more than helpful and enjoyable to speak to at anytime. The amenities from the pool, gym were also great. Her move out was just as easy as her move in. She had to leave but if she ever moves back to Irving she will definitely be back!     I am happy to say that my family has been living here at Beckett Park for quite some time now. We came when this complex was known as San Simeon and have lived here through all the renovations. The upgrades were worth the wait. We were a little concerned when they initially started because it required us to move out, but the staff was great at helping us relocate to a newly upgraded apartment. Whenever weve had any issues, Andrea and Itati have been quick to address them. Their customer service is second to none. Theyre always very helpful, friendly, and professional.     Weā€™ve been at Beckett park for about 4 months now. Our last place made us skeptical of other apartment complexes, however Tyler quickly changed our minds. Beckett Park is by far the best apartment complex in the area - I mean really. The prices are extremely reasonable, the office staff is BEYOND helpful and friendly. The maintenance team (specifically Jose) are courteous and pleasant to deal with when we need them. Living here almost feels like weā€™re on vacation even though itā€™s our home. We were planning to buy a house next year, however neither my boyfriend or I want to leave Beckett park.We are really looking forward to the fitness center being done, as well as hopefully a dog washing station and/or a dog park. The exterior is well kept and is one of many highlights of the complex. Having a two car garage is convenient and much bigger than ones weā€™ve seen elsewhere. Parking isnā€™t much of an issue since we use our driveways which have thankfully never been blocked or wrongfully inhabited. The view outside our windows/sliding doors is that of a resort and with leaves on the trees it makes the patio feel like our own little private oasis, which interestingly enough represents our experience at Beckett park.Id like to thank Tyler, Itali, and Rose. Theyā€™ve made living here so much better and I cannot thank them enough for being so caring and reasonable to every one of our requests.

    My fiancĆ© and I moved in last year and our lease is about to end soon. In the beginning, we had complications. The apartment wasnā€™t even clean when we moved in and had other problems along the way. However, the maintenance staff were always on top of it along with the leasing staff. Because of this, we didnt mind it as long as it was fixed. Overall, the customer service is amazing and for the price it was good. No apartment complex is perfect and Iā€™d say this specific apartment complex is very good.If I do lease again, itā€™d be with Cortland. ā˜ŗļø

    If youā€™re looking for a nice spot in the middle of DFW, Cortland is probably one of the best. They do a great job of making their residents feel like they matter. Technical difficulties and maintenance is always going to be an issue anywhere you go. But at Cortland they do a great job of making it their priority to get it done. Many of the staff are great people, when my AC went out, one of the staff, Edgar, was there as soon as I called.Overall a great place to stay in the DFW

    I am a new resident to Beckett Park and previously wrote a review about my disdain for the parking situation, however, I was immediately contacted by managers Etadi and Andria who were very concerned about my being unhappy in my new home and offered me several solutions. Their great customer service in addition to being so efficient and coming up with solutions made me feel more comfortable and happy in calling this place home for myself and my family. Other than the parking, I love my new apartment. Itā€™s very big, clean, newly renovated, no bugs or pest issues and maintenance has resolved any issues that Iā€™ve had within 48 hrs. Management and staff have also been very helpful from day one. I like that the community is gated, as well as quiet and peaceful. Iā€™m even more happy that the staff didnā€™t just ignore my concerns just because Iā€™ve already signed a lease. For all these reasons, I do recommend Beckett Park as a place to live.

There were a few maintenance issues upon move in that they resolved in a timely manner. The only downside that Ive had with this complex is parking can be hard to come by at night.

    I have lived in this apartment for over 2 years and the management and maintenance are very helpful, everyone is very helpful but can sometimes come across assertive on special requests outside of norms. Andrea Pratt the community manager is incredible and helpful especially in such circumstances. She is always very prompt via email and in person and does all she can to accommodate any requests. She understands and makes things work around this community, be it from making sure there are litter bags to special requests. She is incredibly warm, kind and respectful and especially mindful of what we are going through as residents. Tyler and Amanda have been extremely helpful and accommodating too. I would also like to mention that the maintenance team is great and has a very fast turnaround time.

    Me and my wife have been living here for the past year. One of the best if not the best environments we have ever stayed in. The entrance to 161 is super convenient and if you ever in need for a late night snack thereā€™s any restaurant you can think of a mile down the road.     I moved here during the transition to Courtland taking over. Oh my gosh what a difference this management has made! We almost didnt move in due to the last management and office personnel. Its not that they were rude they just didnt care. Now every time I go into the office I feel like Im being welcomed by family. Tyler always greets me by name with an upbeat attitude and a smile on his face. Amanda and I can talk like sisters and she is just amazing. And Debbie is such a sweetheart. Courtland knows how to hire good people. Its not just about the office though, the maintenance is amazing! They always fix our issues either the day we report it or the next day. We had an emergency leak in our bathroom one night and they were quick to fix it. Ive lived in many apartments and know apartments are bound to have issues with the pools, or gates, or water being shut off, but this place is truly amazing.     We have lived in this community since September of 2018 and we are very happy here. Tyler, in the front office is always very friendly and accomodating and truly seems to love his job.We have had very few maintenance issues because everything has recently been renovated and updated but the few minor things we did have were addressed right away.We recently went looking for the park and were happy to see that its fenced in and has a few tables and charcoal grills and plenty of shade for our grandkids to play when they visit.This is a great community and our neighbors even say hello when see each other.I can feel good about recommending this place to anyone looking for a place to call home.

    I have been a resident of San Simeon since 2013. The apartments are very spacious with relatively new appliances. Mine comes with a garage and a drive way. The location is very convinient with with grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations within a couple of blocks. The new management has made a lot of changes that make living here an even better experience. They have solved the parking crisis that existed for a long time. They have installed bright lights everywhere that really makes the whole complex well-lit after dark. They are renovating every single apartment with brand new appliances and the friendly office staff is always there to help whenever I need something. I highly recommend this place.

    I just moved in about 2 weeks ago and already I am in LOVE with this place. If I could give a 10 star review I would!! From the start, my experience has been amazing. Adony Rios (the leasing consultant) was such a big help when I inquired about their apartments. He responded to my emails so quickly and even sent pictures/videos and whatever other information I needed. This is my first time moving out on my own so I had no idea what I was getting into and what would come with this, but Adony gave me all the information I needed and was happy to answer all (and I had a ton!) of my questions.Following my move-in I had a few minor details needing to be fixed in my apartment, but since it was nothing major I assumed it would just get taken care of at a later time. I was pleasantly surprised when Adony asked if he could send the service tech the next day! Jose Martinez (Service Tech) showed up and took care of everything I had brought to Adonyā€™s attention. Jose made sure to address all of my concerns and get everything taken care of and in perfect condition. He did great work and I am extremely happy with his attentiveness and how much he really seemed to care that I was happy with my new apartment. Both of these guys made my experience the best it could be and the Cortland Walnut Hill community itself is very nice- quiet, clean, and the amenities are just beautiful! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone seeking a new place to live!

    I moved to Texas about a two years ago and this is the best place by far, Ive rented from. Its quiet always kept clean. Anytime I have an issue they are very quick to fix or resolve my problem. Im excited to see what our newly renovated workout and entertainment center will look like this spring/summer!!

    Lived here for 5 years, and it was a wonderful place to live. It is right off of President George Bush Tollway and Beltline, so it is either located very close to wherever you want to go or next to a road that can easily take you there. Theyve got a childrens park, pool, exercise room, lounge area, covered parking, and garages. All apartments were newly renovated and updated this past year. Great staff who are willing to work with you, and quick maintenance crew. In my 5 years living here, i rarely ever had any problem that werent fixed within a few days.

    Yesterday , I went and tour Cortland Walnut Hill. I had the best tour guide. His name was Chauncee. I can honestly say the place marked everything off of my list for me and my kids.. I would recommend asking for Chauncee on a tour!

    I cannot say enough good things about the property and how they manage life for the residents. Tyler, Rose, and all the rest have been so very helpful, and exhibit an attitude of caring when you come to them with questions, or issues. I would recommend this complex to anyone and EVERYONE who wants to enjoy where they live and feel that their staff really cares about their experience.

    I am a current resident at Beckett Park. I was heavily thinking of relocating to another property because the fitness center is still not complete. However, Itati (the assistant manager) completely changed my mind! She is super professional, courteous and made my transfer from one unit to another seamless! Thanks so much for going above and beyond to help, explain and get things rolling for me. I look forward to another year here at this property! šŸ˜Š

    Jasmin is the best ! She sheā€™s so out going and nice and accepts us for us . She was so wonderful throughout this experience ! The apartments are so nice and modern and itā€™s very peaceful!     This is a GREAT apartment complex to live in. The apartments are very spacious. They just remolded them and look incredible. The gym pool and office areas are still under renovation but are expected to be completed soon. They put on a lot of events for the residents. The staff is super friendly, nice, and helpful. Maintanence staff are also very nice and quick to resolve any issues. One time I put in a work order in the morning, it was completed that same afternoon. Its in a convenient area, easy and quick access to 161 and belt line, and less then 10 minutes to Las Colinas. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking. If I had to give 1 negative comment, it would be about parking. There are not many spaces to park for guest, and if you do not have a reserved carport, or a garage, you might have to park a little far from your building. They have had to block off some parking areas due to construction and renovations. Hopefully they will open back up soon since they are finishing up.

A very warm thank you as well to to the entire staff and maintenance team. Everything Ive experience here has been awsome! Beckett Park by Cortland is indeed as reviews boast. Staff are authentic and truly care for their residents. Maintenance staff are always engaged, available and care. The dwellings themselves are sound, seem almost new and not noisy. The amenities are a value and well worth consideration. The community is peaceful and clean. Lovin it!

    This was the first apartment I checked out when we moved our office to Irving. Itā€™s so conveniently located to everything. Itā€™s literally off 161 with easy access to 183, plus itā€™s only 5 mins from the DFW airport. I received exceptional customer care from the moment I took my first tour on their custom trolly cart. The process to signing my lease was also very seamless. And the living experience is worth every dollar. They make you feel like your living in Beverly Hills and never cut corners. All maintenance requests are acknowledged right away and most of the time done same day if they donā€™t have to order anything! They recently added parcel pending, but before that they had a nice system in place where they would email AND text you a notification with a picture of your package! Their timeliness and attention to detail is like comparing McDonaldā€™s to Chick-fil-A. I even got a custom welcome gift after move in. The most I ever got elsewhere were my keys to my unit and a nice ā€œwelcomeā€. This was my first Cortland property, and Iā€™m beyond impressed. Expectations exceeded and I highly recommend whenever they do have any availabilities. Because No one wants to ever move out unless they are moving out of town!

    My lease is up in August sad to go. I have really enjoyed living here. There is hardly any ever noise its safe to walk at night. My neighbors are great. Gates usually need repairing but its understandable just like at any other apartment.

    Been here for about 8 months. No place is perfect, but this one is great. The only issue is the main gates are always broken. Theyre broken more often than not. Its the residents that ram them. The leasing team and maintenance team are great and always respond to service requests within 1 day or 2.

    Ive lived @ San Simeon for over 3 years. If you work in the area these are great apartments to live in. Location is near GB/114/183 for access in any direction. They have new management this year and the new staff is great. Only issue with the complex can be parking so try to get a garage or covered parking if available. Other than that this is a great place worth checking out if your on the hunt for a new home.

    This property is very nice. I recently toured and the amenities were great and all members of the staff were very helpful and friendly. If it was slightly closer to my work I would certainly have chosen to live at Cortland Walnut Hill and will definitely look at Cortland properties for my future apartments.

    The New Management and Staff Rocks !!!! Been living in this community for nearly 2 years now. Cant appreciate the new staff enough.The management prior to Cortland was rude and racist to say the least. The new management is simply the opposite of them. Very helpful and courteous. I have lived in apartment homes for quite a while now and havent found more courteous staff.Any breaks are fixed right away. Theyve got a helpline number through which you can open your case and there will be someone the next day to fix the break. I wish i could live in this community for a bit more but due to job i have to leave by October.

    I posted a negative review yesterday about the property, but decided to delete it today after I got a phone call from the manager of the property Andrea. She sent the maintenance team right away to my apartment to fix all the issues I had and also came in and checked my apartment in person to make sure that I was satisfied with the service.Thank you so much Andrea for all your help :)
