    BE AWARE! I recently moved out from the apartment for the following reasons:-new construction has SUPER LOUD which is out of control of management but it ABSOLOUTLY affect the living experience when you hear construction noise every day and night even on SATURDAYS! Many residents are leaving the complex because of the dusts and noise of it. Be aware!-the community has new management which they are doing fine but the complex itself has no space to be developed! Super small gym, no roof garden or any open or close area for the residents, and not a single space in entire complex which you can invite your guest to it (like a lounge or social space). Technically no amenities except its pool.-its a bit boring and more kind of senior living where most of the residents are +50 so just to have an idea about the vibe and environment.Except the noise of construction which is bothering a lot and have no amenities, the apartments itself is fine.

    Been a resident for 3+ years and can happily say the location, unit quality, and skyline views can’t be beat! Ernesto, Sami, and Scott at the front are the most welcoming and always go above&beyond for any recommendations or help. Paisley at the leasing office has been great in property management across the board and finding accommodations for the construction!

    UPDATE : Updating the review from 2 to 4 stars. It is mostly because of professionalism shown by Morgan. She sat down and discussed all options for over 45 minutes. That’s the kind of attitude I was looking for from management.Regardless of whether any of the options work out or not, it was good for someone from management to show interest in talking to current resident at length and discuss things.——————————————————Previous review -Current Resident. Building location is great.Amenities are limited compared to other buildings in this area (and that’s not gonna change. Building doesn’t have extra space). Pool area is very nice (at par with nearby buildings). Gym is tiny. Other buildings in the area have social spaces/lounges that are huge with tv, pool table, table tennis etc. This building doesn’t have that. On the ground floor, there is some space where your guests could sit (other than taking them inside your unit).There is a lot of construction/renovation around/in the building. I understand that’s temporary, so no issues with that.Under Greystar management, this review would have been a 5 star review.Ever since Cortland took over, two major issues I have experienced -Forced move-out of unit due to renovation. And renovated units seems worse (in terms of aesthetics), but I guess that can be subjective. Residents never asked for renovation. It’s an inconvenience imposed by management on residents.And I was told - “we will work with you in terms of moving to different unit”Turns out their definition of “will work with you” is - “rent prices of available units are on the website. You get what you see there”Morgan has been helpful and professional in terms of showing available units.But beyond that, when it comes to talking about rent, the buck gets passed around (meet that person, no meet that person etc) with final statement as - “we can’t help with rent. The prices you see on website is what we can offer”Previous management was ALWAYS willing to sit down with current residents and their priority was to ensure current residents continue. If they couldn’t lower the rent, they would give extra weeks free or extend the length of lease beyond the norm. And I have heard that with other apartment buildings as well (continuing residents seems to be a preference for any management)But that doesn’t seem to be the case with current management (Cortland).Current management barely seems interested in negotiating with current residents about renewals.That’s not even a negative statement about them. Maybe that is how they operate, in which case, that statement is more of a factual statement, rather than a positive or a negative comment. They should do what works for them. But anyone reading these reviews should atleast be aware of it - When the time for renewal comes, don’t expect them to sit across the table with you to talk about it.I may or may not continue here (my situation is in flux). But either way, i figured it’s relevant to leave review based on recent experiences, so that prospective residents know some facts and what to expect.

    I love this community! Great building, great floorplans, great location, spectacular views and great management! I love how the building is in very close proxomity to multiple grocery options, downtown Dallas, and Klyde Warren Park!The team of Kaitlin, Shelby, Morgan, Paisley, Ernesto, Sami, and Scott make for an exceptional living experience!!They are definite assets to the Cortland organization!!

    Going through the application process is a breeze here. I worked with Rosie who has been extremely patient with me and has worked with me to answer my questions. Everyone here is very courteous and respectful.The apartment itself is fantastic and you cannot beat these views.So far, Ive had a very pleasant experience at 1900 McKinney.

    After touring nine properties across Uptown and Knox, this building was the clear winner. Morgan, the leasing agent, made the leasing process incredibly smooth and enjoyable. She was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive, ensuring I found the perfect new home!I’m looking forward to my move-in date and am excited to join this wonderful community. Highly recommend!

    1900 McKinney has large apartment homes that have gorgeous upgrades throughout, along with beautiful views of both uptown and downtown. The 24/7 Conceirge service is excellent! They also have valet service! I love this community!

    The property management immediately reports and removes any negative and literally not 5-star reviews from Google Maps to deviate and mislead the true picture of the apartment complex. The truth is although the complex is just Ok but, it is NOT INHABITABLE now as there is huge construction (now and maybe until another 2 or 3 years) adjacent to the building which causes nonstop noises and dust from 7 am to 8 pm all day long even during the weekend.Be careful Before moving in as many residents are moving out due to the continuous and constant loud noise and dust due to this construction! Last but not least, the rents in this building are comparably so high and are not matched with amenities (the complex has almost no social space and amenities except the pool) and the quality of the aged building. (they reported and tried to remove this message multiple times!!!!)

    So far, our experience in this building has been great. We are grateful that you have kept Sami and Ernesto as concierges during the management change. The events are great, and we appreciate the effort that goes into organizing them. However, we have noticed that there are times when there is no concierge present, and instead, there is just a person at the reception who does not provide the same level of hospitality as the actual concierges, hopefully that gets improved.

    I love the entire office here. They are the best. I am always welcomed with a warm smile and felt like I am part of their family. Shelby and Ernesto are always there to help with anything I need in such a professional and timely manner. Scott is always so welcoming when I walk in the building and feels like an old friend. Sami is so professional and has the most amazing work ethic Ive seen.

    Love this building! It’s quaint, quiet and tucked away in the heart of Uptown, in a fantastic location with all the amenities. Paisley, Shelby and Morgan are amazing to work with. Their prompt attention to detail is unmatched! The entire staff is great; from maintenance, concierge, valet etc. I also love the privacy and gated entry. Could not ask for anything more in a luxury building, in a perfect location!

    We absolutely love the apartments. They are so big and you really feel like you get a good value. The area of uptown is also such a great location with lots of restaurants and American Airlines center close by. Couldn’t think of a better apartment!

    I cant believe Ive lived for over 14 months and every time I come into the leasing office I am greeted by the warmest staff and extremely helpful! My apartment is larger than others in the area and my view is AWESOME! I highly recommend 1900 McKinney.. come see Stevan or Cris they are the best!

    We have lived here at Cortland on McKinney (formerly 1900 McKinney) for 12+ years. The management has changed as of 12/2023. This change is a welcome and positive change thus far. The building, originally opened in 2008 to be condos and offers spacious, well-built, apartment homes. In addition to spacious apartments and excellent maintenance, we enjoy living here for the convenience of walking to work, the arts district, restaurants, Klyde Warren Park, dog parks, trolley stops, West Village, and the American Airlines Center. We love the neighborhood.Cortland brought in an excellent team from Shelby, Paisley and Morgan in the management office to Sammy and Ernesto at the front desk, Scott managing packages, Guillermo in maintenance and Alonzo, Marlena and Michael at the valet/door station. Marlena is always smiling and ready to assist. This team is making a difference already. Cortland management actively communicates with residents on community improvements. Guillermo is learning the building and upkeeping the excellent maintenance record. They have already made much needed repairs to our driveway and FINALLY the landscaping is getting the attention it has needed for some years. We look forward to things to come.Thank you Cortland for coming to our building. Please keep up the good work.

    1900 Mckinney is an amazing building. All of the staff are truly top notch and are so professional, helpful and beyond nice. Alex and Eddie in the leasing department were absolutely amazing and made the leasing process seamless! They were always there to answer our questions when we called and were incredibly helpful in making our cross country move as smooth as possible. When we finally arrived and moved into our apartment Jessica and Stevan on the management team were beyond amazing. They were unbelievably helpful, professional, accessible and aided in any way possible to get us settled into our new home. The maintenance team here takes huge pride in what they do and the response time for a maintenance request is super quick, they are respectful of your home, as well as super courteous and professional. The concierge and Valet team follow suite in being top notch professionals, helpful, polite and super nice. The entire staff is simply TOP NOTCH in all areas!! We LOVE it here. The apartments feel like homes, as they were built as condos originally and you can immediately see that and feel that from the hall ways to the space and amenities in the apartments. Our view is of downtown Dallas which is breath taking. We have a home here! Finally and also very important the common areas in the building are spotless.

    I have lived here for about 5 months, my husband was here a year before that. We have loved our experience! The units are spacious and really well built (doors are heavy, cabinets feel high quality, etc.) If we ever need a service request they are timely and communicative. The management team is amazing as well! They are always so friendly and ready to help if needed. I also love how easy the parking garage is. Maybe only one time on a super busy Saturday I had trouble finding a spot, otherwise Ive had no trouble. I have noticed that most of the residents have lived here a long time, or keep coming back to stay here if they are moving or renovating. This truly is a Dallas gem!

    I am a new resident of 1900 McKinney, and I love it here. The views are breathtaking and the floor plans are quite spacious. The management staff is very professional and accommodating. When they say they are here to help you, they really mean it. The residents I have encountered have been very friendly and welcoming. Finally, the location is awesome! You are near to the heart of the city, so it is close to everything and is very walkable.

    Been here for a couple weeks so far and my experience has been great. First, the staff are great, helpful, and not rude at all. Contrary to what some of the other reviews mentioned. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone was rude back to me if I initiated the rudeness. Second, the units are spacious, clean, and renovated well. Third, if anyone has any issues with waiting 60 seconds for the elevator, please consider moving to a 4 story building. Finally, maintenance items have been getting fixed and closed within less than 24 hours. I will make sure to update this review if my experience changes at any point.

    Love the space of the apartments! Much better than some of the newer ones for sure. The newer ones have GREAT amenities, however, the space you live in has very thin walls and are quite small. This facility is sturdy and has great bones! The amenities like the fitness center leave something to be desired for sure. I can work with this because the space I will spend the most of my time is fantastic!

    Would like to thank Ernesto for always greeting me and my husband whenever he see us in the lobby- it goes without saying he knows us by name. Whenever we go for our evening walk, Sami always wishes us a good evening with his beautiful smile. Upon returning, Sami always acknowledges us and welcomes us back. I have been known to order a few….well quite a few packages. On several occasions, the packages have all arrived at the same time. Without asking, Scott arrives at my door with all my packages - that’s what I call real service!! He too always greets us whenever he sees us.     Beautiful and friendly building to live! They always have really great community events and the building is located super close to the tollway and right on Klyde Warren Park! The concierge is so so helpful and nice and will help you with your groceries, meal delivery, and more. My husband and I moved to University Park because we wanted our kids to be in a top school district, but if not for that we probably would have stuck around at 1900 Mckinney for years to come. I will really miss the concierge, management, maintenance, and valet staff in this building.

    1900 Mckinney is an incredible building. The staff here is Top Notch!! Stevan the Manager and Jessica the Assistant Manager go out of there way to make sure that the building is run correctly. They are always available if needed. The concierge and valet team are top notch professionals! Sami Daqiq the concierge is truly the best in the business. He always makes sure that everything is under control and he is super courteous, and he always goes above and beyond. We had an amazing experience with the Leasing Department, Alexandra Martinez is Top Notch, and Eddie is a true professional. Being from NYC I can truly say that this building is run like a top notch NYC Building right here in Dallas. And the location of the building is 2nd to none. We are very fortunate to be living at such a wonderful building!!

    We love living at 1900 McKinney. The staff is amazing, they always go above and beyond. And the other residents are wonderful, respectful and have become like family. We get a ton of use out of the pool deck, hospitality suite, and the guest suite is great when we have visitors from out of town. The location can’t be beat…close to all of the amazing dining, sports, art, etc. that Uptown has to offer.

    My husband and I have lived at 1900 McKinney for 3 years. We’ve had Greystar Management Company the past two years and the service levels have continuously been exceptional. When we have had situations arise, they’ve accommodated our needs beyond our expectations. Residents are friendly and it’s a nice range of age demographics. Besides all this , we love our apartment and the location is fabulous!!!

    My wife and I just renewed our lease here. We love the location as its walking distance to a number of great restaurants and her work off Olive. The staff has always been very friendly to us and made us feel at home. When we first moved in in Jan 16 there were some issues with security in the garages but since they installed new lighting and tighter restrictions on the gate system I feel that problem has been resolved. There have been issues with the elevators recently but other than that we are really satisfied.

    I have been living at 1900 McKinney for almost 4 years now. While the property had some management issues last year, it is night and day different. Stevan, Jessica, Amanda G, Chris, Kimberly, Scott, and Tommy (to name a few) are just amazing and deliver great property management by far. Very pleased with the turn around.

    I recently came in for a last-minute tour, and right away I knew that this would be my new home! Rosie did a phenomenal with genuinely answering all of my questions and making me feel right at home. Jessica, the Assistant Property Manager, also helped seal the deal. While being swamped with an on-going situation that she was currently dealing with, she took the time to assist Rosie and I with an issue that occurred with my application. The service provided during my tour and the amazing personality of both of these women is exactly why I signed to call this place home right away. I cannot wait until my move-in date, so that I can officially become a 1900 McKinney resident!

    It is sad to say that after 11 years at 1900 Mckinney we finally moved out. When we moved in the building was not even finished yet. they completed units from the top down. over the past decade we have LOVED this location and especially the entire management staff. We only moved due to purchase of a unit at the Ritz Carlton. i highly recommend this building to anybody looking to be in uptown. We have ALWAYS really enjoyed this building and the staff. FIVE STARS and thanks to all the staff!

    Ive lived in the Uptown area of Dallas for 4 years and have been in 2 other apartments (3700M and L2)- 1900 McKinney is by far the best! The best staff, apartment, storage space in the unit and location (1 block from Klyde Warren Park- in the heart of everything). The crowd is a good mix and they have some fun events. I highly recommend.

    My wife, Kathy, and I have been residents of 1900 for over two and one half years. We have totally enjoyed our high rise experience appreciating the comfort, luxury and security which 1900 provides.Because of our downsizing decision a few years ago, we chose 1900 to commence with a new phase in our lives realizing the challenges we would be incurring. Without exception, the concierges, managers, leasing and service staffs were consistently and professionally always willing to accommodate our needs and special requests making our transition a very seamless and rewarding one.It is well known that many residential high rise alternatives are under construction in the Dallas Uptown area, competing with existing venues. We have in fact researched these alternatives and have come to the conclusion that 1900 presents and provides the best high rise living in an absolutely ideal geographic location.

    I recently renewed my lease for the third time at 1900 McKinney. I attribute that to not only an appreciation for the magnificent views of downtown and the Arts District from this location, but mostly due to the unsurpassed quality of service delivered by the professionals who manage day-to-day operations for the residents. Particularly, Stevan Morales and Chris Ceniceros have consistently gone above the call of duty in their efforts to deliver true concierge level service. When you consider that there are many options among luxury properties to choose from in uptown Dallas, their presence here truly make the difference.

    I feel compelled to write a review after reading the reviews by the entitled residents that consistently create problems and drama. We have lived here for almost 2 years, and we find it comical hearing the same people complain about nonsense on every blog, forum, resident portal, etc.To all potential residents reading google reviews: DO NOT trust these recent reviews regarding safety and declining management. The few people claiming the management is worse than the previous seem to suffer from a tragic case of amnesia. Allow me to refresh your memories: UDR office staff never would answer the phone, leasing agents, specifically Megan, were absolute airheads that needed to be reminded of tasks 2 or 3 times, payment portal was always manlfunctioning causing us to have to pay rent in person by check, the head concierge, Susan, was a nightmare in need of a straightjacket, the back gate never worked, gate remotes rarely opened the gates, the walk through door in the garage wasnt working for over a month before Greystar took over, it was always dark in the garage, food delivery drivers were allowed up to my door without me be called by the front desk, and so on. I was so happy to donate the UDR staff to Cirque!We have some of the same conceirge and valet staff that stuck around through the management change-specifically Chris C. Nohel. They are amazing and will go above beyond to help with anything you need. Stevan, who works in the office, is amazing. I have never called him for the same thing twice. He delivers on all promises! I am a firm believer that you get what you give. If you treat the staff with respect, you will be treated better. This brings me to address reviewer, the Holly Would-really needs to change her screen name to Holly Shouldnt. I wish I could share a screenshot the backlash she received when she attacked apartment employees in a ridiculous rant in our resident forum. When someone makes outrageous, sensational statements claiming they took a poll of all residents living here from 1 year to 6 years ranging in age... and the concensus is we all hate this place, one should question the validity of that statement. One should ask themself, How many neighbors have I ever spoken to in my own building? Is it possible so many people would speak to this wretch in an elevator to discuss current events? After the little rash of break-ins, it all stopped. The victims left doors unlocked and/or valuables in plain sight. Greystar installed bright lights and security cameras in the garage as a response to the break-ins. We live in a highrise, have a 24 hr concierge that serves as a 24 hr gatekeeper, security cameras, security patrol, enclosed garage-what the hell else do you people want!? An armed guard?? No apartment complex on earth can guarantee your safety-especially in Dallas.We visited a LOT of apartments in uptown and downtown before choosing 1900. We pay $4,000 for a 2 bdrm on the 25th floor-it is beautiful, open floorplan, floor to ceiling windows with a park view. We never hear other residents because the building was originally built for condos to sell. The walls/floors are thicker making more sound proof. My packages and dry cleaning are delivered to my door daily. My maintenance requests almost always get completed same-day. There arent any 21 year olds running around drunk-most are about 30-50 yr-old professionals. Conversely, there are a lot of desperate, lonely housewives with nothing to do but complain about dog poop on the front lawn.The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars: 1) glass top stoves as opposed to gas ranges offered at other upscale apartments, 2) no ventilation in the apartment unless you are one of the few with a patio, 3) $600 non-refundable pet deposit, 4) if your neighbor cooks, you will know.

    We love 1900 Mckinney. The staff is very friendly. I really appreciate Marla S. She always has a smile and experienced. I appreciate her professionalism. This separates 1900 from other residences.
