Living here is great I can’t say enough good things about Sara in the office. She’s incredibly kind and always goes above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable and supported. As someone with autism, I sometimes need a bit of extra clarification or assistance with certain things, and Sara is always patient, understanding, and willing to help. It’s such a relief to have someone as compassionate and attentive as Sara, especially when those needs arise. Her support truly makes my experience here feel like home.

Cortland North Dallas is a great place to live! The property is well cared for, and the neighbors are respectful. The office has been of great assistance for me as well. Dani the office manager is always happy to help.Maintenance is the best out of anywhere I have lived- Shout out to Nestor. He has come to service several maintenance requests of mine. I lived here for 6.5 years. Its fine.Pros:• Complex is cared for (i.e., pool cleaning, tree trimming, painting, landscaping, etc.)• Fairly quiet (at least my building was)• Covered parking• Guest parking• Rarely dealt with power outages• Packages were never stolen (may have to do with my apartment location - 2nd floor)• Clean/ideal workout facility• User-friendly resident portalCons:• Price (2019 - $995 to 2024 - $1,330) (for what little space I had, it didnt make sense to pay this much + utilities)• Non-negotiable valet trash fee (some like this, but I wouldve rather spared the monthly $40 and taken care of it myself)• Roaches (3-5 instances total; pest control helped) *even though I made a habit of keeping my apt tidy at all times*• Occasional internet disconnections (I had Spectrum)• Rushed renovation before move-in (dried dripping paint on the walls/baseboards, loose carpet corners/edges, paint smears, dents/chips in the cabinets, etc.)• Broken entry/exit gates (sometimes they were left open overnight, sometimes they wouldnt open at all)• Car was broken into in January 2024 (middle of the night)I cant speak about the staff because I didnt associate with them the entire time I lived here (aside from a couple maintenance issues). I shouldve moved out once the rent spiked in 2022(?), but this is still a decent complex if youre not picky.

My partner and I moved here from out of state two months ago and the entire process from the moment we applied up until the day we moved in was very quick and smooth.I have been very impressed with this community in the short two months I have been here. The apartment itself is spacious and the updated finishes give it a very modern feel. The maintenance team usually responds to and completes requests in the same day which is always great.I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Angelica from the leasing office! She was the person who made this process for us moving from out of state so easy. The communication was quick and consistent. She was able to fully articulate thoroughly the answers to any question that we had. I have nothing but good things to say about Angelica and the entire leasing office team!

Its only been a few weeks since I moved into my apartment at Cortland North Dallas, but so far Im really pleased with my decision. The community is clean and fairly quiet, with great amenities like a fitness center, clubhouse, and multiple pools. The location is awesome, with easy access to major roads but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and conveniently close to grocery stores and shopping plazas.My favorite part about living here so far has been the management team! Everyone who Ive come in contact with has been friendly, professional, and very responsive. I also like that they host different community events. I havent been able to attend any yet because of my work schedule but I think its nice that they offer them. :)Overall Im happy here at Cortland North Dallas and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place!

My decision to sign a lease with Cortland North Dallas 8 months ago was a direct result of Angelica’s impeccable customer service and attention to detail. Prior to my appointment at Cortland, I had several awful experiences touring other properties, with leasing consultants who were unprepared and disgruntled that I even showed up. I was so worried I was going to end up settling for a place I didn’t love, and then Angelica saved the day. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived to the leasing office. She called me ahead of time to review my “must haves”, and was fully prepared to show me around. Upon my arrival, she had already printed off several layouts within my price range, with unit numbers, move in dates, and pricing. She made the application process a breeze. She kept in touch with me throughout the move in process to ensure it went smoothly. It’s important to me that I stress how seamless she made everything, because I did not have the same experience at the last two places I lived. Even after I moved in, Angelica continued to check in on my living experience. Cortland North Dallas is so fortunate to have Angelica as part of their team, as it is abundantly clear that she loves what she does, and she really cares about helping people. I work in marketing. I know every sales trick in the book. What sets Angelica apart from the rest is her ability to empathize with her customer—and for that reason, she’s worth ten times whatever they’re paying her. So, if you’re in the market for a new place, call Cortland North Dallas and set up a tour. It’s a beautiful property. Make sure to ask for Angelica. She’s the real deal.

The overall experience here at north Dallas is AMAZING. They’re very respectful and responsive to their tenants. The process of moving is quick and the apartment complex itself is top notch. They pick up your trash for you, host events that you can attend, it’s very quiet and the people are friendly. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Ive lived here a little over a year and the maintenance staff have stood out to me. Today I submitted a maintenance request because my AC was out and Nestor arrived in under an hour to fix it. He was incredibly sweet and professional and I appreciate that he made an effort to expedite my request as my apartment was definitely getting too hot for comfort.

This place is great! I had to move quickly, I was signing my lease within a week. Sara at the front office is awesome, anytime i’ve had any questions or concerns she is always on it and very helpful. the apartment itself is very nice, so far i’ve had only one issue (with a gate remote) and it was resolved very quickly. I’ve lived in 4 different complexes and this one is by far the only one that truly deserves a 5 star review! Everything was taken care of with care and urgency when i moved in and the staff continues to live up to a professional and respectful standard. Highly recommended!

Let me start off by saying we toured this apartment while staying in a hotel and needed a place to move into the next day. The day after we toured, we moved in. They were extremely efficient and flexible. We recently switched and renewed our lease and they were also extremely flexible in getting us in the place we wanted after we changed our minds a bunch. We’ve worked with Angelica the whole time we’ve lived here and she’s extremely responsive, kind, and always remembers the little things! The staff respond super quickly so we’re never frustrated with communication. We have love loved this apartment so much over the past few months we’ve been here. Not only are these apartments INCREDIBLY nice on the inside and reasonably priced for the really good location, but the complex is BEAUTIFUL! It is maintained better than any apartment we’ve ever lived at- it’s always picked up, any trash or glass is always cleaned up, they have doggie bags ALWAYS filled at every station (my fav thing) so I don’t have to buy my own. There are 3 pools that are well taken care of. They have a dog park with fencing that my tiny dog can’t get out of! They have amazing yards for every first floor apartment. There is hardly every any dog waste anywhere it is all picked up very quickly. We haven’t had to have any maintenance done which speaks to the quality of the place, but we’ve interacted with the maintenance manager I believe and he was awesome. No problem with noise from neighbors. We keep our patio door open a lot (there’s a screen door super convenient) and have only had a few gnats here and there - NO ROACHES (unlike the Hamptons a few blocks away)! Relatively safe, the gates ALWAYS work which is another thing that our previous gated apartments never had was functioning gates! They give you a free covered parking spot for every bedroom you have in your apartment I believe. There’s so many more things I could say about this place but our experience has been nothing but positive!

I am truly impressed with this community, i really enjoyed my stay here, i would highly recommend this community to others.Maintenance crew is very quick, usually solve the issues within 1-2 days. The gym is very good and clean , enjoyed working out there. Swimming pools are also well maintained.

Cortland North Dallas is by far one of the most affordable apartments in the north Dallas area. The Office Staff is phenomenal they provide Virtually perfect customer service since Ive been living here for many years . Whenever I put in a maintenance request , the maintenance staff Hands-down takes care of you without a doubt within 24hrs or less. Im very comfortable here. I dont plan on moving until I get ready to purchase a home. Location of the apartment complex is central. Its surrounded by many different stores which makes it easy for you to live life. I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a nice comfortable affordable apartment where The environment is safe. There is little to no crime in the apartment complex area.

Cortland North Dallas has a really nice maintenance and property management team.I’d like to leave a special review for Mr. Nestor, who helped fix couple of things in my apartment on urgent basis and did a clean job at it.My kitchen sink faucet needed a replacement as the hot water supply was not working and I need a fresh set of blinds as the blinds were broken.Mr. Nestor and team fixed both the issues in a matter of 48 hours with best service quality possible. Thankful for the instant care and dedicated service of the maintenance team.

The apartment itself is great, its pretty quiet and a nice area surrounded by homes, maintenance is super responsive if theres anything wrong too. I moved from another Cortland location and dont plan on living in another community unless I have to!The complaints are that sometimes theyll close a maintenance request without reaching out at all. Nothing that has been a big deal, but unprofessional. I dont think theyve answered any calls since I moved in either. Which is pretty frustrating.

It was my first time living in Dallas and Cortland was great! A lot of wonderful people working at the front (Sergio and Marlena). My questions were always answered promptly and I had no issues while I was there. They are also one of the only communities in the area that offer short-term leases, and I really appreciated their help in being accommodating for that. I also really liked how they have food trucks on the complex from time to time to be able to try out food from local businesses. (-:

Been living here for half a year. Very good so far. The maintenance has been awesome. Nextor was able to fix issues within the apartment very quickly. One issue is that there is an airport nearby and there is a very loud aircraft sounds pretty consistently, which you get used to. So be careful if you are very sensitive to sounds.

These are great apartments in a great area!!! I was touring apartments during the weekend and I really loved this ones. They decorated it so good it makes me want to move in now!! July 2022: My experience with Alaina was great! I made a big move from Massachusetts to Dallas and Alaina was super helpful throughout every step of the process. I’ve been here almost a month now & still feel supported by Alaina & the office if/when I have questions or concerns!Been here for going on 9 months and never had any issues. They are VERY quick with maintenance requests. Quiet neighborhood besides the occasional car alarm but thats every property. My unit was clean, pest free. Staff has been kind and attentive. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for an apartment in north dallas. My only complaint is my unit does not cool past 74-75 in the summer which forces my ac to stay on almost 24/7, more than doubling almost tripling my usual electric bill and its still hot inside and thats with almost no other appliance use. Its uncomfortable during the day so keep that in mind if u cant tolerate much heat

Clayton and his team in the office are top notch! They listen to tenants and take time to get to know the community here at CND. The maintenance team here are also rock stars. There are many different events here if you would like to get to know your neighbors. Also the gym is always clean and cool(temp)! Also, there are lots of dog waste stations and nearby park to walk.

I am very impressed with the level of service I have received from my first call to The Aster by Cortland until now and I’m pretty sure it only gets better. Their apartment homes are superb and has made transitioning from a home to and apartment home a great experience. It will take some time getting used to the area but The Aster by Cortland provide great information for the surrounding area. What a terrific level of service.We had to move promptly as the new buyers of the home we were living in was ready to move in. The quick response our leasing consultant provided us was nothing less than perfect. We were able to complete the application process and move into our new apartment home within a matter of a couple days. That was some awesome service. They were all so kind.The apartments homes are superb! The grounds are superb! The service is superb! I lived in The Aster by Cortland apartment community for 1.5 years, and moved out only because I had to relocate to a new city. Right from the initial tour to the move out and receiving deposit refund, the experience has been very positive. Leasing office staffs are all very friendly, helpful, and kind. Maintenance requests are handled within a day and staffs are courteous and professional. The apartment floor plan was spacious and wonderful with lot of storage space and all upgraded appliances. Community is clean and well maintained. Free reserved covered parking for every apartment is a plus. Mail and package pickup system is updated and advanced. Gated community and secure, I lived alone and felt safe. Once a week, there was complimentary group fitness class at the fitness center and I loved it. There is always a periodic quick meet-up for residents with refreshments. Trash pickup, disposal, compactor is very convenient and efficient. Business center and fitness center are renovated, and pools are always clean. I loved the smoke free community policy. This community is one of the best, is affordable, and is in a convenient location. I miss living here.

There is 10 months I’m living here, and next November I’m planning to renew my staying here.The staff of the Áster in fantastic, and everytime I asked for a service, I was attended quickly.They try to keep the areas cleaned, the garbage is taken everyday, and We always have smiles and good words from them.I like the small parties they do to keep the neighbors in contact.I loved the dogs party.I love my private yard.Thanks to everyone that makes my staying better.

Sergio was our lead consultant and he was able to provide such a great experience. We toured with him and was very knowledgeable about the property and the community. We ended signing our application and he was always updating us about the application and always reached out to us to make sure we had all the information we needed. Awesome property! The layouts of the apartments are awesome, All of the people who work here are so great anytime you need anything they are super helpful and always friendly! This property is the best in the area. I love my upgraded apartment and the new pools! My family and I spend a lot of time outside and get full use of all the amenities. This is luxury living . There is a lot of green space to walk , My apartment is great and on the interior seems like a nice hotel. I enjoy having a washer and dryer unit as well as ample storage space due to the spacious closets and cabinetry. I also like that I have a reserved, covered parking space The office staff has always been attentive, kind and so sweet, especially Madison and Priscilla! ..The maintenance team is wonderful. Tiffany is so kind and responsive and the maintenance team is always so helpful and flexible with your schedule. The fitness center is amazing and the pools are super relaxing. My favorite part about this complex is the interior features. The renovated black and white cabinets with black granite countertops are modern and cute. I will miss this complex so much!

I really enjoyed my stay here, I had some problems but maintenance was very quick and came either the same day or next (depending on the time) to help me. I know some people make comments about the old washer & dryers (not being luxury) in the unit but it didnt bother me. The package room situation is the only thing you should be aware of if receiving packages. Sometimes lockers get full so packages are left on the floor (by the carrier). Never had a package stolen because I pick them up immediately. I do highly recommend this place and I honestly dont have anything negative to say because this place was nice.

Moved in two months ago with my boyfriend and we love it. Management and maintenance staff is nice and accommodating even with the Covid situation. And Sofia is very friendly and was super helpful, we both love working with her. Its a very quiet apartment complex and we feel safe at home. Theyre dog friendly, and love that first floor apartments have options of small yards for your pup to run around. If you put in a service request they come take care of it in a timely manner, ours have been taken care of the next day! In the short time weve been here we have zero complaints and are very happy with our new home.

Here is a true and honest review for those considering this place:I have been living here for 30months! Great location. Never have had an issue with neighbors. Peeps in the front office are real and honest (special kudos to Adam and Amanda for always being there for me!). Price is better compared to nearby apartments. I have one of those units with lots of A/C issues but the maintenance crew has always been there for me! And i mean, always! Great place to live at honestly. Just be kind and respectful and they will do the same back to at you. The new management is investing in the property too. Seems promising.... Cheers!

Lived here for almost a month and so far not much to complain about which is good. Tiffany my leasing agent was AMAZING and went so above and beyond to help me with the process all awhile living out of state. The maintenance staff has been so great and has addressed and fixed the requests I’ve had so far very quickly which is appreciated. I wish the gym had more lifting equipment and a stair stepper, it’s mainly focused on treadmills. I haven’t really experienced any noise from my neighbors which has been nice. There is a lady in the building next to me who likes to continuously honk her horn at someone in her apartment to get their attention to come out which is super annoying at 7:30 in the morning when some of us are sleeping but that’s not the complex’s fault. So far I am very happy with my decision to live at The Aster!

Before moving to this complex, I had not lived in an apartment in 6 years so I wasn’t sure what to expect; all I knew is that I needed a unit with a yard because I have large dogs. I am rolling into my second year lease and since day one I have little to no issues with staff, maintenance, amenities, etc. Moral of the story, everything is as the staff who originally leased me this property said it would be. The pools are relatively quiet in comparison to some of my friends resident pools are. The current community manager, Caitlyn, has been a large part in why I have extended my lease into a second year. There were promises made by my original leasing agent that Caitlyn insured were upheld and even worked her magic to make sure I got a turfed yard for my dogs as was promised by my original leasing agent. Overall, I think with not having lived in an apartment in 6 years and after looking at very few options, this ended up being a really great company to lease from and I have enjoyed my time here as tenant.

The staff here is amazing. A lot has happened, and they have worked with me through it all. My stay wasnt long, but this is the first apartment staff that I have felt even remotely close to.The issues I experienced here were a matter of wrong place, wrong time, and didnt seem to be anything they could foresee. Through repairs, I was able to keep informed just by asking. They made time for me, even when they had a lot going on.Maintenance requests have always been fulfilled in a timely manner, and the team is friendly and willing to help with things like setting up my electric charger in the garage.Parking is simple, and the amenities are pretty great. Not to mention the incredibly homey interiors (check out the sinks). I loved my place for the short time I had it, and would definitely recommend living here.

Most likely gonna renew my lease and even move into a bigger unit when the price is right. The construction is taking sometime but it is what it is, nothings perfect. Overall, you guys are great.

Even after moving she conacted me to see what I needed. I’ve never had an apartment complex communicate this well with me. You can tell that they care about your living experience. I love my new home it is defiently a upgrade from my last apartment and the peices is reasonable. The property stays clean and there is a sense of community through the portal. So far no complaints from me. The 4 star is just because there were minor items I needed repaired in my home but they were fixed quickly.

My experience, as a high maintenance, tenant was very good.Tiffany Brantley answered my 101 questions which allowed me to feel confident in my decision to sign the lease.The maintenance team that came in to fix any items throughout my stay were always professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Since covid they have been great about masks and social distancing as well. There were three people who helped me, but Brian and Eric are the names I remember.My close out was very smooth as well. Chandler Cooper was very communicative and was able to help with everything I needed. I am just waiting on the final inspection so I can get my deposit back.To the team as a whole, I like the new platform and the nice touches to make things community oriented.My qualms were all minor things I would have changed about the apartment itself.Overall, I had a great experience.

Recently moved here after looking at Cortland apartments and settled here. The people working at the office are great; theyre fast to respond and ready to help! Chandler has been mainly helping me with my move and it has been stress-free. She even helped me transfer units after not wanting to live in the first floor. My unit was clean and appliances were in great condition when I moved in. Overall, the property has its basic amenities with great washers and dryers. The gyms that Cortland offer are a lot better than most apartments Ive lived in. Some of the negatives: parking is kind of rough for visitors ,people need to know how to use/put their trash inside the compactor, and the bathroom ceiling is a little too low in my opinion. Outside of that, this is definitely a great place to live at.

During the summer you’ll get your fair share of little critters coming in but I’ve never seen anything that I would deem awful or sus.It’s a great area honestly. A perfect distance from grocery stores and everything. I absolutely enjoyed it. My only issues with here are, and I understand management can’t help it, it’s people stealing packages. It’s not frequent but it happens.And the fact that rent is a bit pricey. It’s a bit too much for the small place he’s in.Otherwise this place is great, well kept and comfortable. If it was just a little cheaper, I would’ve loved to stay here longer.

When I first came to the Aster, things were not good. I thought I had an amazing leasing agent but after I signed and moved in, I quickly learned that he had no idea what he was doing and he made a ton of promises that werent true. I ended up losing out on a large chunk of money every month because he wasnt properly trained. As soon as Kate Carlton took over dealing with me, a lot of that changed. Even before she was promoted, I said to myself, this lady needs to be running this place! She handled my hot-headed Cajun frustrations and terrible attitude beautifully. She had such grace and understanding with me and she calmed me down instantly. She was pretty much the only person I dealt with after our initial conversation because she was just so amazing at understanding me and getting things done. My horrible attitude didnt scare her and she didnt make me feel bad for having one. She truly turned my experience from a horribly negative one into a very positive one by the time it came for me to move out! If I had the pleasure of working with her from day 1, this would definitely be a five-star experience. She is so professional, so lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you for everything, Kate!

I am a resident of the aster since 2014. Staff members, especially Carlos, the maintenance supervisor, has always been really helpful, reliable, and respectable. He always comes through on whatever is needed as far as service orders. I have no complaint at all in regards of maintenance services. Once I put an order request for any service, it is completed in no later than 48 hrs, usually it takes less than 24 hrs to resolve the issues. I love this community and the staff members. You will love it as well.

Tiffany Brantley has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and has gone above and beyond to make sure my application and move-in process went smoothly, and that my actual living situation is comfortable. The maintenance team is stellar and friendly; since moving in theyve taken care of a few issues (including an ominous wasps nest and annoying smoke detectors) quickly and professionally. The neighbors are friendly as well; I am a professional musician and am obviously working exclusively from home these days, but everyone has been very welcoming and receptive to my practicing at home (within quiet hours of course). Youre also nearby to tons of amazing food and drink, and many convenient grocery stores (WinCo, Trader Joes in Plano, H-Mart). 10/10 recommend The Aster and its staff. Thank you!!

When i first heard about this complex I saw a special saying if I applied within 24 hours of viewing then I would get my application waived. Additionally, one of their other specials was a whole month of rent for free. The process was smooth & Kirsten, Eric & Joel all worked with me closely. I was in a bit of a rushed process and was a bit skeptical but they kept their word and made sure that this transition process was smoothly. They did waive my fee and credited my account for the free rent they offered me. They even prepared the apartment for me without much notice and although we did find some things wrong with it, they made sure it was replaced and ready to go! I feel confident that they will take care of other needs, as I see they already have. Granted - I have only been here for 2 weeks but I really appreciate their help. They have been working hard regardless of all of the renovations! I also send them so many emails when I have any issue or concern and they are truly patient with me haha. Chandler was the one I first talked to and from then until now, she has been super helpful. She always have her customers in mind and looking out for them. She would send quotes to me every now and then offering me lots of moving opinions. She is great!

I have really enjoyed my stay at Cortland North Dallas. When and if theres an issue all my concerns are addressed in a timely manner. But I mostly want to thank Caitlyn for being AH-MAZING! She is the main reason I choose to stay at this property. She is always available when I need her and she makes sure I am well taken care of as a tenant. I am sure the rest of your staff is great but she is someone that follow throughs on all promises, considerate and has been an asset to this community.

I’ve been living at The Aster since the end of March and I absolutely love it! It’s very quiet and people tend to mind their own business which I really love. The renovations they did are absolutely amazing. I love using the fitness on demand in their new fitness center. The office staff is so sweet, especially Madison and Priscilla! #cortlandliving

I’ve been a resident now going on 6 months! I am very excited about the grand opening of the new leasing office! The staff always stands and greets me when I come to get my package. I’ve also noticed they wave at me when I’m driving through the community which is different but It actually made me smile and laugh because I’ve seen Eric’s big smile & him waving at me! I love The Aster!

Chandler has been SUPER helpful & patient. These are by far my most favorite property so far.The soft closing cabinets really sold me for some odd reason 😅

I went to tour these apartments and had an AMAZING experience. Ive been to quite a few places lately and the experience I had here with Eric tops them ALL. He was prepared for every question I asked and was very knowledgeable. The property was gorgeous and the units are upgraded with beautiful fixtures and Eric gave me the best service experience I have ever had apartment hunting. Unfortunately, I received a job offer out of state so I was unable to lease here but if my career brings me back to Texas this is the first place I will look and hope that Eric is still here!

Great Value and Wonderful staff and residents! I used to live here and I loved my apartment above the office! it was so unique and amazing! looking over the courtyard and it made paying rent a breeze! lol The staff was always so friendly and the community was always clean and well kept! I have lived at The Aster going on three years now. I have lived at many different apartments and this one has been the BEST by far! The management and staff have been AMAZING.I recently transferred units and they made the process so smooth and easy due to great communication. Also, they are in the process of renovating the property and they stay in constant contact with the residents informing them on what is being done and what to expect.

I recently toured this property, I am a leasing agent myself, which means i know what to look for when looking for an apartment. I was assisted by Tiffany, the leasing agent in the office and she was extremely informative and helpful in the process. I unfortunately decided to stay in my current apartment but from one leasing agent to another, I wanted to commend Tiffany on her professionalism and overall hospitality. The community was very well kept and had some great amenities.

I enjoyed my visit. Nice atmosphere and the employees were very kind and greeted me upon entering. There was one individual that was very helpful however. He was a thin gentlemen with a big welcoming smile. He was detailed and answered all of my questions. He was helpful during the tour as well. He showed me a studio that was beautifully decorated. I would recommend a visit to my friends. I look forward to hopefully staying here.

I went here to inquire about an apartment and I was help by a young man named Eric. He was amazing at giving me the details on the apartment he actually sold me on a few things that I didnt even know that I could find in an apartment. All in all, for him to give me great service even if I was undecided on moving here just shows that you guys have great people working for your company. Even though the apartment was just over my budget I think I still might move because the apartments and the service is beautiful .Thanks from a future resident ..!

I have been a Cortland resident for two years now and it has been an overall a good experience until now. Due to the current circumstances we are all in I have decided to move out of this residence and get a roommate elsewhere. I went in to ask about this process and was told by someone that it was fine to move into another Cortland property given a 60 day notice. I was also told I could move out of Cortland properties given a 60 day notice with no penalty. I made my decision based off that information later to be told that I would indeed be penalized after I had already locked a lease with another apartment. I was told I needed that statement in writing which is justifiable and a mistake on my part but the treatment after that was not okay. Firstly, I followed up by saying I did want to terminate my lease and never got a response. Secondly my new apartment complex reached out to verify I put in my notice and she said she was treated very rudely. Thirdly, I went in to the aster office to resolve the issue and was made uncomfortable with the staff snickering and acting coldly towards me. Also none of then were wearing masks and only one put them on when I was directly talking to them. I have written a few reviews in my life but being treated like this only after I have decided to move out has made me feel awful. I have been a loyal cortland resident, who paid on time; always been kind to the staff and this entire experience has been a slap to the face.Although I experienced the above, I can say that I received a call and apology from the property owner. She was very nice and made me feel justified in my frustrations and issues. I can say with certainty not many places do that and I have changed my original review. What I didnt say in the original review is that the Cortland properties are very clean, nice residents and have good amenities. It was good to know that management actually cared and took the time to reach out to me. Not every place is perfect and people have bad days its what comes after that truly matters and Cortland did that, so thank you.

I absolutely love my apartment and the complex. It’s 4.5 starts for me as it has everything that I want and new doutaide of the clubhouse/gym being completed. The maintwnce is LOVE-LY! So sweet, I could be doing anything they see and they’ll help me. The front office staff is pleasant as well and willing to help ALWAYS. They offer so many great deals and just so many great amenities. I have a washer and dryer that unless I mention it no one even notices it’s there it’s cute and tucked away. They are ALWAYS trying to give back to the from free large pizzas when coming to pay your rent or free workout classes to compensate for the gym not being completed. I am considering moving somewhere bigger but that has NOTHING to do with the complex. Love it.

I’ve lived in this complex since 2017, and have seen so many changes! Although it has taken a bit longer than the company expected to make these changes, (sleek, ultra-modern kitchens, updated color schemes, updated bathrooms) they have made a huge difference in the way we view our community. We’re also really excited about the upcoming exercise area and equipment, which has been a long time in the making. Being a pet-friendly place, and having so many opportunities to come together as a community (margarita nights, anyone?!), along with beautiful swimming and grilling areas truly make for a unique neighborhood feel! The staff is professional, helpful, and go out of their way to make everyone feel at home!

We have lived at the Aster for about 7 months now. We have had great experiences with the staff, most specifically, Koby, from the maintenance team. Not only is he knowledgeable, quick, and efficient while working in the apartment. But truly just the nicest man. He went out of his way when our air conditioner went out late on a Saturday evening. And we are so thankful to have someone like him working in our community! Thanks again, Koby. We appreciate all that you do!

My Wife and I have been living in this beautiful community for 3 years now and we absolutely love everything about it, from the consistancy and friendliness of the staff to the private and safety feeling we get coming home every night. Out of all the times we came in contact with any of the employees for any reason, regardless of whether or not they were busy they always took the time to greet us by name and made sure we were having a great day. If we could give this property 12 out of 10 stars for always going above and beyond for their residents, we more surely would.Thank you so much for allowing us the pleasure and privilege of calling this place our home for 3 years.

Joel is seriously a miracle worker and my new favorite person! We knew we had found our new home when we toured the model apartment. The interaction with Joel was like talking to one of my best friends. He also maintained his professionalism and made sure that this was the right place for us. We left to look at other properties and returned an hour before closing to sign the lease. Im being completely honest when I say that we almost canceled everything. Another unprofessional employee made us panic and gave us wrong information. Joel saved the day and made sure upper management became aware of the situation. They gave us a great resolution and we cant wait to move in!!!!!! Ask for Joel!!!! I hope he never leaves!!!!

In the process of looking for my new home in the Dallas area I came across this apartment complex. At first i thought it was too good to be true but i quickly felt an attachment to not only the community but also the staff that helped me throughout the entire application process. Specifically, Alaina Harvey. She was always available to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable in making the decision to apply here. I definitely recommend anyone considering living here to try and speak with her. She is incredibly knowledgable of not only the community inside but also outside Cortland and is always there to lend a helping hand!!

I have been a resident here for the last 3 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Its a nice and quiet property. Any questions or repairs I need done are swiftly taken care of by management. The property is also in a great location, not far from Addison if your looking to have a nice dinner out, catch a movie or have a few drinks. Amanda who works in the office signed me up originally and is amazing!!!!!

Im new to Texas so finding a place to call home was a bit overwhelming. I found Cortland North Dallas on accident. I came to look at another community in the neighborhood and Cortland was calling me in lol. Im sure glad I decided to take a look. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and the tour with Crystal was awesome. I had to choose this community, it was a perfect for me and she made the leasing process effortless and smooth!!! Ive been here 5 months and anytime I need anything I just call the office and Jeremiah who is SO efficient/effective gets everything taken care of for me. Ive had a hard time getting personal things in order trying to adjust to my move to Texas and Jeremiah has been extremely kind, patient and understanding. He makes you feel like more than just a renter occupying a unit ... Jeremiah feel like a friendly neighbor. You feel like he cares about the community and residents as though he himself lived here. I couldnt ask for a better community, thanks to the team at North Dallas Cortland!!!!

I just signed my lease for another year. I really enjoy living here! Garret and Amanda at the leasing office are just amazing and always have time to answer my sometimes stupid questions :) They also always seem to remember my name and apartment number when I pick up a package despite the huge size of this complex. The price is reasonable and i love living in a gated complex. I dont have a traditional 9 to 5 job so having a gate is reassuring when I come home at 3am and have extended the office hours so I can actually pick up my packages after my shift. My neighbors are friendly and I never hear them which is great for a light sleeper like myself. I recommend Gardens at Vail to all my friends looking for a place to call their home.

FIRST OFF! This management is AMAZING! If u want to have a luxury apartment living this is who u need to go with. I know the office staff has delt with my crazy emotions a few times but they were so professional and listened to me with open ears. The maintenance staff is so sweet! NESTOR is my fav :) he always stops to talk to me and always asks if I need anything. There are other guys (I don’t know all their names) but they always ask to help bring in my groceries for me when they see me struggling lol. THANK u SO MUCH TEAM HERE AT CORTLAND AT NORTH DALLAS FOR BEING THE BEST AND MAKING ME FEEL AT HOME.

I’ve lived here since the end of May, and I was initially skeptical due to certain reoccurring mishaps so quickly into my lease. However, in time, The Aster by Cortland has redeemed themselves times 10. It is a peaceful community, and the recent renovations have made for a great and home-y feel. I absolutely love my apartment, and plan on staying here for quite a while. A quick shout out to the maintenance people whom have always helped fixed the minor problems swiftly. Today, I came downstairs and noticed I had a flat tire. After struggling to take it off by myself, Ritchie from maintenance was driving by and changed my tire himself. I’m extremely grateful that even though he is already busy enough with daily tasks, he took a few moments out of his day to make sure that I was taken care of. I’m extremely proud to call The Aster my home.

This property is amazing- the service you receive is like nowhere else! After I received a job offer in another state Brennon Skaggs helped me and ensured all of my needs were met. He didnt charge me any fees or make my relocation process difficult in any way while the majority of other properties would not have been so understanding and eager to help.My first visit was with Adam who is a very kind, knowledgeable, and honest person! He did an exceptional job of telling me all about the property, giving me a tour, and helping me through the leasing process. Im sad I wont be at Gardens at Vail but Cortland is the way to go! The grounds are nice and very clean, the apartments are spacious, and it seems that a lot of fun events take place- they really try to make you feel at home.

Stopped by here 3/20/18 to tour the property and was quite pleasantly surprised by the community, model apartment and a gentleman by the name of Eric! What impressed me immediately was the design, layout and upgrades of the temporary office. What really stood out for me was being greeted and made to feel welcomed by Eric, even though he was popping in and out touring another family. This was excellent customer service to me, just to be greeted and acknowledged. I have been looking extensively for a new home and loved the atmosphere, staff and apartment.
