    I moved in several weeks ago and have been pleased with management and the atmosphere of the complex. I have worked with Stormie, and she has been very prompt and helpful with issues I had. Also, just the general indicators of safety are present. People are always outside walking their dogs or going to work in the morning. They have a law enforcement officer living in the complex. Overall, it is a good apartment complex for the price and general area.

    I was looking for a short-term residence that was clean, affordable, and family friendly. Cortland checked all the boxes. From day 1 all of the staff were polite, available, and ready to help. Alex Vega worked with me throughout my stay, but he really went above and beyond to make sure my move out date fit my specific needs. He made the whole process easy, and I really appreciate his dedication to the residents at Cortland. You the man, Alex!

    My experience at the Courtland has been everything I hoped it would be with this complex being the first apartment complex I’ve moved into. With the amenities such as the pool during these warm days and a pool table during cooler weather makes it easy to spend my time at work and walking distance to wear I live. Alex was actually the person who first helped me when I was in the market for a place. He showed me what would be my future apartment and has always been nice to chat with. Maintenance for any issues has been easy to handle as well. They are prompt and ready to fix whatever issues I have had.

    Best place to live! Awesome and respectful tenants and the staff is amazing! Very safe and well taken care of apartments. The maintenance people are extremely kind and very attentive. The access to grocery stores, shops and highway is very convenient. Move out was an absolute breeze. 10/10 recommend!

    I recently had the pleasure of working with & toured with Jessica! experience was exceptional, She was very kind and helpful! Jessica was very responsive, professional, and attentive to my wants and needs. Grounds are nice with plenty of amenities. Great location. I highly recommend her to anyone in search of a new home– not only does her dedication and expertise truly stand out but the property itself does as well from the other properties I’ve toured in the area!     I had the pleasure of touring this property a few weekends ago and was so impressed by not only the upkeep of the community but also the staff. Stormie was my tour guide and was knowledgeable and very sweet. This is my first apartment in a really long time and I asked a lot of questions and she never got annoyed which so many other places have, unfortunately. Alex, I believe he said he was the assistant manager, was so nice as well when I arrived for my tour and showed me how to use the coffee machine (which was amazing btw). All of this sounds trivial but honestly, it was the best I’ve been treated throughout my search within the last few months. I’m not ready to sign quite yet but Cortland is definitely where I would feel most comfortable about leasing. I definitely recommend this property and for you to ask for either Stormie or Alex. Love this place!

    Stormie is fantastic! Alex is great. Grounds are nice with plenty of amenities. Nice location. Seems safe but I just moved in so I’m not entirely sure on everything. The maintenance manager is an a-hole. I don’t recommend anything on the third floor. The bedrooms are hot and kind of stay hot until the sun goes down.

    I was in a bit of a chicken pickle and needed help and Carlos, Alex, and Rolando came to save the day! I have been living here for over 4 years, and my favorite thing about Cortland is the friendly staff. Today was a true testament of helping a neighbor…they didn’t have to do it, but what they did for me I truly appreciate so much ❤️ They are so hard working and such gentlemen. It’s always a pleasure being around them! I always have crazy requests and they’re always so nice to me. One thing I will tell you is that they are very hard working, they keep Cortland running smoothly and their hard work will never go unnoticed in my eyes. May God bless you always. Thank yall again! Stormie, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and comfortable.The apartments themselves are stunning, with modern finishes and spacious layouts that make it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. The amenities are equally impressive, with a beautiful pool and lounge area, a fully-equipped fitness center, and a dog park that my furry friend absolutely loves.But what really sets Cortland League City apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff.     I loved that they offer free yoga classes and the leasing agent, Stormie was the best and so welcoming! She is patient, kind, and personable. She did not make me feel rushed during the tour but instead walked beside me, and instead of jumping on a golf cart to tour the property, we walked to the unit. That was different because most communities will have you sit on a golf cart and speed fast through the community. Stormie is my favorite leasing agent out of all the properties that I visited in League City. She has such a beautiful personality. I could speak with her for hours on end. She was non-judgemental and answered all of my questions with ease. She made me feel very comfortable. The Cortland community of League City is well-maintained, but I just wished that they had more open garages. An added bonus is knowing that they dont have white appliances, but instead SS appliances. The floor plans are spacious and the units dont look like a cookie-cutter generic apartment, but more like a home. They dont have a lot of availability like most other properties, but thats because the tenured residents love it here for a reason. Stormie reminded me of my favorite leasing agent of Houston which was Ms. Maria Calderon from Valencia Place apts. I wish more leasing agents nationwide can adapt to Stormies work ethic. Stormie gave me the best tour and I cant wait to lease from Cortland League City!!

    My experience has been great! Alex was very helpful with getting me a two bedroom apartment. I have been living in a one bedroom apartment for 3 years and love living here. Once it was time to renew I found out I was expecting and needed a bigger apartment. Alex was extremely helpful and quick to helping me found a two bedroom. Which is so rare, and I think it speaks highly of the community. they’ve become more than just an office staff, and they helped me every single time I asked. the maintenance team is absolutely amazing!!!     I recently leased with cortland league city and I had the pleasure of having Jessica as my leasing agent. Jessica has been the best leasing agent I’ve ever encountered.     Had a tour scheduled for 1pm, unfortunately life got a little crazy that day and i didnt end up making it in until 3:30... the staff was completely understanding and SO welcoming. I was blown away buy the energy I was greeted with. They answered all of my questions and the tour was so great. I ended up applying for a unit the same day! Not only is the property beautiful, I really felt how much the staff cares for their residents.

    We went on a tour not too long ago and had the BEST experience we’ve ever had on an apartment tour. Stormie was our guide and she by far has been the most professional and knowledgeable host we’ve had during on our extensive search. We almost signed the lease just to have her customer service, however my husband got a job offer that’s just too far. Talk about heart break for me.     I was waiting to write my review until after the moving out process was completed.WOW! Alex and his team are AWESOME! I lived at Cortland for over two years. I have zero complaints. Stormi and her coworkers in the office are so personable and really try their best to make sure all your needs are taken care of. Alex, the manager, is very professional and really cares about his renters.The only reason I moved was so I could be closer to work. The moving process was a breeze. I have lived in many apartment complex. Once you move out, they try to scam out of all your money. NOT HERE!!! They continued with their awesome and HONEST service. If you are looking to call a place home I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

    My wife and I went on a tour not too long ago and had the most FANTASTIC experience we’ve ever had on an apartment tour, which is quite a feat as we have toured numerous properties.     Just recently started to look for a new apartment, went to Cortland and met Stephanie. One of the main reason I picked these apartments was because of her, she took the time to listen to my family’s needs, and made sure my service animal had a great fit here too. She was very nice and welcoming. She also made sure the whole move in process was smooth, always asking if I needed any help. The customer service is incredibly opening and caring here. Also the apartments are very nice and clean. Great community at League City location!

    Visited here as a potential place to stay for my upcoming move and fell in love with the area and apartment complex! Stephanie in the leasing office was absolutely amazing! She answered all my questions thoroughly, gave an awesome and realistic tour, and was extremely helpful with any additional questions after my tour. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to lease here because the quotes that was given the day of my tour expired within 48 hours and the newest quotes increased tremendously and was out of budget. Overall, if you are looking to rent here, ask for Stephanie in the Leasing Office. She will be able to handle all your needs and questions!

My family and I have lived here for almost 3 years and I can easily say we have loved every second of it. Alex, Stormi and the rest of the Cortland team are awesome and do their best to make people feel at home. The community is pleasant and peaceful, so we walk around all the time. Weve made some lifelong friends with neighbors. The prices are higher, yes, but you get a beautiful and safe community. You know everyone here is here for good reason.

I needed to transfer from a 2-bed to a 1-bed about a month ago and Stephanie in the office made everything so easy and the transition was seamless!     My time living at Cortland League City has been absolutely wonderful! The initial leasing and move-in experience could not have been better, and I attribute that to Stephanie Allred. She made me feel comfortable and important from the very beginning. She is also very responsive to all emails and phone calls. The property is very quiet, (which I love), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working out in the gym. The fact that bottled water, clean towels, and sanitizing wipes are readily available is a huge plus!

    Phenomenal experience!! The easiest move Ive ever had! I desperately wanted out from my last apartment, so I scheduled a walk-through with Stormie, and upon arriving I instantly fell in love with Cortland.     We had toured many properties prior to going to Cortland League City. At each of those other properties, it usually meant walking into the office and having this awkward period of just standing there waiting to be greeted. BUT not at Cortland League City. We were surprise as soon as walked into the office, the front desk team immediately greeted us and stood up to help us. Already we felt welcomed and it hadnt even been a minute.The community and all the amenities are well maintained. The gym has a variety of fitness equipment and free weights (which other communities we saw that day did not have free weights).As we toured the property, anytime we past a staff member, they too acknowledged us!Due to the great staff, we knew that Cortland League City would be a great place to call home as our house is being built! We can not wait for our move in date.

    The office staff have been amazing as I transition to the community (they are very responsive as Ive asked a million questions!). Its been a while since Ive lived in an apartment and Ive been pleasantly surprised with how things have changed (I rarely hear any external noise_. I love that they host weekly events (some in person and some via Zoom) and recently enjoyed a Zoom paint party! The grounds have been well maintained and its so peaceful.

    Ive lived here for about a year. Ive got to say these are the most impressive apartments Ive lived in. The kitchen area is a great size and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. The thing I loved the most are the people who work there, from the office to the maintenance people they are all very helpful in their own way. I would 100% recommend this apartment for people who are searching for a place to begin their lives!

    Just wanted to share how wonderful my experience was when I was out looking for a new apartment. When I was first greeted by the staff it was very welcoming. I talked mainly to your leasing agent Stormie and after we discussed what I was looking for and what yall had to offer she took me in a tour of your property. And I must say Im very impressed. The apartments are beautiful aswell as the grounds. And Stormie was very knowledgeable and professional yet down to earth. She didnt pressure me or make me feel like my questions werent important. Im 100% sure about the decision Ive made and cant wait to move in!

    Ive been here for the past three years and I enjoy the complex and the staff. The complex is well maintained and quiet. The staff is extremely helpful and treat you like family. My apartment is spacious with quality upgrades. The location is convenient to everything in League City and the Clear Lake area.As far as the negative reviews, remember you cannot please everyone so take the negative reviews with a grain of salt and check out the community for yourself.Personally, I highly recommend the community and renew my lease every year as I have not found any other comparable apartments.

    With a full plate in life like everyone has when it comes to moving you try to often look for the perfect place. scouting out apartments or homes. in this case apartments Ive been here for a little over a month and I absolutely love it. ❤️ The staff easy to connect with and very friendly and is quick to help you with any need to make sure you are met with the comfort of enjoying your home. communication and teamwork is key and holding a professional Outlook and environment. the way they keep up with the apartments and take care of any needs that I need is handled swiftly and professionally.     I must share that in the time between now and when I will actually lease a new unit, I’ve dealt with Stephenie at the office on numerous occasions. She is professional, friendly, to the point and above board with information. I recently spoke with a vendor that contracts with this property and they were very “pro”-Cortland and had really GOOD things to speak of the property. This vendor contracts a LOT of apartments and also gives the Cortland a positive review! It is refreshing to deal with someone who knows their stuff and also to hear it from a business peer!

    Full disclosure: this is a review based entirely on the touring and leasing process for Cortland League City.Scheduling an in-person tour with Cortland was very simple and easy to do via their website. We did just that and was contacted by Stormie Martinez from the office soon afterwards, asking us what we were most interested in viewing and whether or not we had any particular preferences in what we were looking for. Since we had looked at the Apartment Map (also on the website, in the Floor Plans page) for currently available units prior to scheduling, we let her know of the exact unit that we wanted to check out.When we showed up for our tour, Stormie greeted us at the entrance of the office inside the leasing center. She checked in with us again regarding our preferences prior to guiding us through the tour of the model unit as well as through the rest of the community. And even better, we got to tour the exact unit we mentioned before returning to the office to go over everything. Stormie had already gathered quotes for multiple leasing terms for the unit as well. It was great to have those options prepared and presented to us to save on time. We were able to get all of our questions answered and felt confident that this was the place for us.As for the leasing process, everything has been digital and communication with Stormie has remained consistent and reliable for our needs. Thank you Stormie for helping us make this such an easy and smooth process!

    Ive been living here for a little over a year now and thought it was about time for a review!What stands out the most about this complex (compared to all my previous ones) are the community/neighbors and Carlos. For starters, in my experience the neighbors Ive encountered--from walking or sharing amenities with--have all been very respectful and kind. I love seeing the variety of ages, families, and cultures here and hope it really stays this way! I also must give a shoutout to Carlos/maintenance as well because he can literally fix anything. Hes a great guy and always has a smile and optimistic attitude no matter how big the problem may be!Overall, I honestly can say I love it here and really commend the staff for maintaining a wonderful living community.     We moved into these Apartments 3 years ago and Krissi and Alex welcomes us in with open arms she and her staff has always responded with a professional attitude and great response time. And over time we have had an outstanding stay here, So much that instead of getting into a rent home we have decided to stay here until we decide to buy. Always a very courteous maintenance staff and always willing to help. I am 53 and have not lived in an apartment since my early 20s But this is Home and my family loves it here

    Cortland has FANTASTIC customer service. I called several complexes in the area for no one to return my calls and Cortland answered immediately. Stormie helped us out with everything we needed, answered all of our questions and gave us a piece of mind as we are moving to the area without seeing it first.     I had an issue with my air conditioning not working one day around 8:00 pm. I put in the service request and got a call from Carlos the maintenance supervisor to set up coming out that night. He was very friendly especially considering it was late at night. He came out right away and found the wiring had melted inside and also the outside unit had a leak and needed to be refilled. He was very quick and highly efficient from start to finish and got the air working in about an hour. Fast-forward a month and I came home from work and the air wasnt working again. I was not happy that I had to call someone out late again but very happy that Carlos was the one to come out again. This time the blower motor had burned out and there wasnt one on site so he had to drive to the shop and pick up a new motor. It took about 2 1/2 hours start to finish and Carlos was upbeat and friendly to entire time. I am thankful he works here and he does great.

    Weve been residents for about three years and absolutely love it! Its such a safe community - Its gated, down the street from LCPD, and has a great courtesy officer. The landscaping and community overall is consistently kept clean and presentable. The staff are also wonderful! If we ever have any issues or concerns, they are quick to find an effective solution and are so nice! I highly recommend Cortland!

    Stephanie was great, we toured a couple of units and she was so helpful. Supper easy to reach, whether it was via, email or text. She answered every one of my questions.     I lived here for more than 2 years. It has been a perfect apartment to live at. My AC went out over the weekend in the summer. They sent someone to repair it the next day. The grounds are kept clean. The apartment is located close to I-45, so it is easy to get pretty much anywhere.The police station for League City is located less than 1 minute away, and a lot of cops choose to live in these apartments. Everyone has been friendly. Its a great place to live.

    Ive been a resident with my wife for the past 5 years and we like it... We went from a 1 bedroom to 2 and we havent had any huge complain at all. I mean its an apartment complex so you are going to hear your neighbors no matter what. A few more than others but all and all i cant complain too much!Other than that the grounds are kept pretty clean, amenities are nice, staff is always nice and will help you in any way they can. Our A/C stop working on a Sunday afternoon in AUGUST and maintenance came within the hour to fix it. I highly recommend this complex.Rent is a bit pricey but hey you get what you pay for! I rather pay a little more and feeling safe.I wish they had a dog park to let my puppy off the leash, but there are plenty of doggie stations and an awesome walking trail.

    Ive been living here in Houston going on three years now. Before, I was staying in a not so good place. I could go on and on about how awful that experience was. But then I moved here to this awesome bachelor pad and I sleep with the biggest smile knowing that this is my home now. This place is beautiful! I never want to move away. From the light fixtures, full appliances, a bathroom youcould live in, and quiet .I havent met any neighbors yet but time will tell . Theres is a great gym and a two mile track/sidewalk and all the shipping areas etc.very close by! Also a police station one mile away. In fact the track leads one mile to the station and one mile back. (2 mi)....Im so happy I moved here.

    Dont depend on Googles rating system, go to apartmentratings website. There are many and very accurate reviews on there. Apartments are pretty new, landscaping is great, amenities are great, inside quality is great. Ive had no issues. People like to complain about the noise level, which, is situational. Wood floors will do that. I love living here.

    I enjoy living here and have had a pleasant experience the entire time. I would recommend the complex to anyone looking in the area as it is quiet, peaceful and in a central location.To address the negative reviews, there a few residents who ruin it for everyone by not picking up after their pet, not throwing their trash in the dumpster, parking illegally, leaving items in the breezeway, ruining community equipment, etc. I cannot fault the management for the lack of respect by a few residents. It is NOT managements responsibility to pick up after the residents but they do it anyway to keep the property clean. I have apologized to the maintenance team for the action/inactions of the few lazy residents and thanked them for helping keep the property clean.My advice to anyone reading the reviews, keep in mind most of the negative ones are no fault of management and are going to be experienced at any complex.
