    Staying here at Courtland Lakemont was one of the best decisions I ever made. If you’re new to the area, this is a great place to live. When you call, ask for Lauren. Lauren will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. The maintenance staff here is fantastic and will do everything possible to take care of all issues that same day.

    Love this property so much! The amenities are amazing and very well kept. The apartments themselves are very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend this property 10/10! Everything about this community was fantastic (And that’s extremely hard to find)! We toured with Timothy Carter and would highly recommend scheduling a tour with him because he really made this place feel like our future home. He was very kind and knowledgeable about all things cortland.

    Lauren has worked with me and my family since day 1- she showed us our wonderful new home and takes care of all of our apartment needs promptly, and with such a courteous disposition! She is a joy and an asset to our complex. Speaking of- living here has been absolutely wonderful. It’s quiet, clean, and most importantly, SAFE. Wonderful home to raise children.

    Hello, my experience with the Cortland Richmond Team has been awesome. Lauren is so sweet and patient. She was assisting us every step of the way. The maintenance crew is always on top of things. The apartments are beautiful. There are great amenities such as the pool and the gym. The lake is beautiful to take walks in. I also love the fact that we are so close to the highways that easily takes us to wherever we need to go.

    I have lived at this property for a year and a couple months now and i am very pleased with the office staff, maintenance crew and my home. The office staff is sweet and friendly, the maintenance crew is awesome, they come no later than a day even same day sometimes. I feel safe on this property and i am very happy with my home. Special shout out to Ms. Raina (property manager) and to Cantu (head of maintenance).

    Great Place to Live!!!!!The staff is very helpful and responds in a timely manner. The maintenance team is always out within one to two days and responds immediately if necessary! The property is kept up with and the apartments are in great condition. I love it here!

    The complex is much smaller than the other Cortland communities and very quiet.  When you walk past a resident here they always smile and say hello, even if you’ve never met each other yet.  I love how there’s no balconies where people usually would store gym equipment or a million plants and junk. Instead everything is uniform and nicely kept. All the porch and carport lights the same color and turned on at the same time.  I really like how the units are grouped, two to a porch and my apartment’s layout is so awesome with the stairs leading up from the first floor inside, placing my unit’s space on the second floor (very unique) and has a beautiful, giant kitchen island with stainless steel  appliances. The bedroom is vey large with an offset space that has a built in granite desk and shelves. The walk in closet is so large it even has its own window. People that come to visit always comment on how nice and well kept the complex is, and how they love the layout of the unit.  Plus my unit, and many others, face smaller ponds which have water spouts and with the windows open it sounds like I’m on the water.  Very peaceful.  I can’t say enough about this complex and community. The staff here are very friendly and genuinely care about their residents. The Assistant Community Manager James Marmol is always very helpful and goes above and beyond to work with you. Always very pleasant with a smile, no matter what kind of days it’s been.

    So, Ive lived here for a whole year now. Overall, this company is very professional and helpful!! They are quick to respond and answer you, kind and very understanding as well. I really appreciate their hard work and their maintenance work as well. Their maintenance is quick to respond too!! They are very positive and even remember my name! :)The whole complex is very clean and well kept, the ducks are so fun to see daily here and its such a nice area! Its really neat how they have community nights weekly here too from food trucks to I believe their yoga and other activities theyve had in the past too! The pool is really nice, shiny, and pretty too! I havent used it, but its pretty! Haha. I really love running around the neighborhoods here too! :D

    6/30/23:Moved in about a month ago, and I absolutely LOVE this complex so far.I was nervous about finding an apt since I had to choose without being able to visit in person beforehand, but I was so relieved when I showed up to get my keys -- the complex and apt itself is even more beautiful than the photos online! Raina in the front office was also super helpful and friendly; it made me that much more excited to be moving to Houston (thank you, Raina, if youre reading this!!), she even recommended a good nail salon that I will absolutely be trying soon :)Complex and unit very clean, the neighbors are friendly/pleasant, no crazy noise at night, amenities are all clean and lovely as well.Security gates actually work! I feel very safe here.Will try to update 6+ months from now, but if I dont - that means Im still happy :)

    From the time you walk in the office, the vibes are PHENOMENAL!!! Desmond and Raina greeted us with high energy, and showed so much professionalism. Although it was his first day at this community, he made it seem like he was there for years with all of the knowledge he has shared with us.     I thought apartment searching for my first time was going to be impossible, until I came here. Right away, I was shown excellent customer service. Maggie, at the front desk, helped me through the entire process and made it super easy. Since then, Cortland has been fantastic. Any requests I put in are immediately completed. The trash is constantly taken up. The facilities are always open and available. Cortland is everything I hoped for, when searching for an apartment.

    If you are looking for luxury living in the Richmond area look no further — Lakemont has got you covered. Cleanliness, friendliness, and good vibes sums up the resident experience here. We love this place! The other great thing is that it’s conveniently located right next to Westpark Tollway which gives you convenient access to inside Houston. Would highly recommend this to all my friends and family. Most importantly, make sure to ask for Raina when you get there. She will take excellent care of you!

    I think the property and staff are great. Everyone has been nothing but nice to me and my family during our stay here. We moved in a little while after the apartments were renovated. From what I understand, they needed the update. Id totally move back if I could. Miss my huge apartment with a lake view. Loved that we were on the top floor even though it was only the second floor. Vaulted ceilings, granite and everything. It was very nice.

    What can I say!... I was so impressed by the amazing location and how clean and beautiful Lakemont apartment homes are. Kayla was super nice and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure it felt like home to me. Rita and Mirna are soo attentive and always follow up to see how they can assist me in any way! The maintenance team is so amazing and will fix anything you need ASAP. I HONESTLY CAN NOT COMPLAIN! What a safe and beautiful place to call home!!     This is an awesome place to stay, currently I have lived on the property for 3 years. The staff is very professional, welcoming, helpful and caring toward each resident. The property is well maintained and kept in immaculate condition. Any service issues are resolved in a time orderly fashion with turn around results if about 24hrs. In addition, this property is also located near a quiet neighborhood and it is zoned to a reputable school district. It is a wonderful community to raise a family or live the single life, either way they accommodate to everyone s needs.

    The property is well-maintained, they respond in a timely manner to maintenance requests and the rent is a good value for the unit sizes and amenities compared to other communities in the area. We have been very fortunate to have had good neighbors in our building so far. We just renewed our lease for the second time and it is primarily because of the property management staff. All of them have been responsive, helpful and friendly. They work really hard to create a welcoming community environment with frequent events, food trucks, etc. Ms. Jeri is awesome! She makes a genuine effort to get to know the residents personally and will do anything she can to assist.

    I cant say enough about what a pleasure it has been being a resident at Mason at Lakemont! First off Jerri and the Mason team are absolutely amazing! They truly are the best staff I have ever encountered and I have lived in many apartments in my life. They are like family! I have lived in places where the staff makes you feel like you are stranger that cant be trusted but not here at Mason! The apartments are beautiful inside and out! The appliances are all upgraded and stainless steal. My favorite part is the kitchen and the beautiful kitchen island which makes cooking enjoyable. Every person that has visited us here compliments how beautiful the apartments are. We have a lake view and that is just icing on the cake living here.

    This is a beyond amazing apartment complex. I love the floor plans and the kitchen. Jeri in the leasing office was a big reason for us choosing this location. She is very warm and welcoming. She seems to know everyone on a first name basis and treats you like family. The pool is amazing and gives a resort style feel. However, there were a few minor issues upon move in but the complex has been quick to address them. Regardless, I am happy with our choice and would recommend anyone interested speak with Jeri.

    Unfortunately have to leave this place for work but this is the best apartment complex in the area. Its safe and quiet, they even have food truck nights which is great. Parking can be a bit difficult at times when arriving home a little later. Maintenance is quick and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to live in the area.

    I’ve stayed at The Mason at Lakemont for a year and some months. The place is absolutely lovely I’ve never had any complaints. The office staff goes out their way to help you. Brody is excellent she makes you feel at home if I ever had a problem she solved it right then. It’s not any words in the book to explain how awesome she is!!!! I hope with you all reading my review that you would definitely make this your next home.

    Ive been living here for about 8 months. The staff are very friendly, they go above and beyond to assure youre treated as family. The maintenance staff is the best! As soon as I submit anything, it is taken care of almost immediately! The only problem I have is about cars being towed. In the past, there were problems with the residents finding parking. The staff tried eliminating this by giving residents a pass, as well as one guest parking pass. If youre a person that typically likes having guest over occasionally or frequently, this might NOT be the place for you. Ive have had three guests cars towed! Every single person was charged $320! Now, the office do allow you to get additional TEMPORARY parking passes, but you basically must know when you will be expecting guest.UPDATED 07/25/18, I just wanted to give a quick update on what has happened since I wrote this review. It was time for my renewal and I discussed with Ms. Jeri my concerns on the parking/towing. She said since my review, her supervisor and staff has had a meeting and are completely changing everything. She said their number one priority is always the residents, this Ive always known but now its making me feel so much better that the staff do take EVERY concerns on a personal level to do better for their residents and for that I am truly grateful. I really no longer have any complaints. As I listed in the beginning of my review. The staff are absolutely phenomenal, theyre friendly, welcoming, and go above and beyond for their residents. The maintenance crew is always on top of their A-Game, you never have to hound them or call to follow up. They get the work done ASAP, and normally Ms. Jeri always calls to follow up on the work. Theyre always finding new ways to keep the apartment up to date and making sure it is presentable, its quite, clean, and there are always events. The only problem I had was parking/towing; it was the staffs first time dealing with it and of course there will always be trial and error when its the first time dealing with an issue. Im just glad the staff actually listens to their residents to make some changes to better accommodate us; for that I am grateful.

From my first phone call to inquire about availability, to my on-site property tour and throughout my move-in process, the staff has been amazing. The Leasing Agent Kayla is delightful to work with and extremely attentive, the Manager Rita is friendly and eager to provide assistance. The maintenance staff has been professional and proficient.

    Love the feeling of being at the Mason at Lakemont with nature yet being so close to everything the city of Houston. In addition to the peace and tranquility here this the staffs Velma, Bryson, Jerry, and Brody at this apartment complex never cease to amaze me. The office management, staff and maintenance are always friendly, courteous and go above and beyond to take care of your every need as quickly and efficiently as possible. This place is a hidden gem! If youre looking for a place to call home look no further!!!! Because this is the place you want to be. Ive lived here now going on two years and I have no complaints. All the leasing staff are so friendly and professional. They referred to you by your name whenever you come in to pick up a package or have some questions you want asked them. Oh let me not forget how upscale both the interior and exterior of the apartment, my friends thought I was living in a town home when they first came to visit. And most of all the property is peaceful, for someone like me that just want to go to sleep soon as I get home from work.

    I have been living at the Mason at Lakemont for over 2 years now. I love it !!!! It is a great place to live thanks to Mrs. Jerri, Bryson, and Brody. You can always walk into the leasing office and expect to see a big smile on Mrs. Jerris faceShe is such a friendly person with a warm heart. I have not had any major issues here and all the minor issues were resolved in a quick manner. It is a quiet, nice environment.

    Just moved in over the weekend and I’m absolutely in love with the place! I immediately felt welcome and at home after speaking with Jeri from the leasing office. She’s beyond helpful and extremely friendly. The only issues I’ve had upon move in was the fact that there was a slight bug problem. Nobody wants to walk into their brand new apartment and see a roach crawling on their back wall... however, they did send someone within 24hours to get it resolved which was great.One other issue is my “neighbor” leaves his trash right outside his door without placing it inside the designated trash bins they require us to use. Who wants to open their front door and see two giant gross trash bags literally right in front of their walkway? Regardless I still love how attentive the leasing staff is especially Jeri, so I recommend speaking with her because she will do everything she can to resolve any issues that may arise!All in all hoping both my issues gets resolved.

    I have lived here since 2013. I have seen different owners and different staff. I have also lived through a renovation (the least pleasant of my experience). The staff we have now are the best. They are friendly and efficient. The location is nice, convenient, and has access to many amenities.The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because some of the neighbors are a little messy at times but the staff takes care of it quickly. I hope this helps in deciding your next home.

Beautiful, clean surroundings, maintenance was prompt and regular, all appliances were new and worked perfectly, and it felt like a very safe place to live in.     My family has been living at The Mason At Lakemont Apartments by Courtland 81/2 years , I love the community environment that our staff have created here, maintenance staff are prompt and friendly. We have feelings of expanded family with this particular staff and safe. One of the other main attractions here is it feeling of each apt. as a home. No open hall ways. Great pool, workout and it is so beautiful around lakes. It is also quiet, and safe.

    Current Resident Recommendation - My family and I moved in here a few months ago and have been very happy here and pleased with our decision. The complex is quiet and all of our neighbors are friendly. The apartment is very nice with nice carpeting, upgraded amenities, and has hardwood floors (more so on 1st floor) and vaulted ceilings (2nd floor); not to mention the gorgeous pool with hot tub and workout facility with every machine or piece of equipment that you could want. Furthermore, the service team stays on top of their stuff; at least when I have put in a service request, it has been taken care of within 24 hours. Lastly, the management team is always kind and helpful. They are constantly having get-togethers at the office like a wine tasting night, Christmas party, etc. On top of that, they have helped me out with strange request(s) in the past. I can give you an example: I wanted to get some touch up paint so that I could, well, touch-up some areas in the apartment from when we moved in. I went to the office and asked Vilma Chavez, the property manager, if I could get the codes for the paint. She said that she could actually just give me some if I could bring in a cup. I thought that was great. A couple days later I went in to pick up a package and she said she was thinking and she actually found some mason jars that she could put some paint in and give to me. That right there thoroughly impressed me. I told her just let me know when they are ready and I could stop by and pick them up. Fast forward to the next day and someone from the maintenance team knocks on the door and delivers the mason jars with the paint ! with a paint brush too !!!! If that isnt customer service then I dont know what is. It is the little things like that that go a long way in not only making this a nice place to live but helping to justify the cost as well. All in all, I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an upscale home in a quiet neighborhood, with or without a family.

    I went to visit my brother to Mason at lakemont and I had the best experience that I could have. My brother broke his AC and in less than 5 minutes the maintenance supervisor came to fix it with a smile and gave him an explanation Of what I had done. I was so impressed that I want to live in this property. I went to the office to ask the prices for when my contract where I live expires to move here. And I attended the manager Vilma has never seen better customer service throughout My life. Im definitely going to live in mason at lakemont I never felt better. They have an awesome pool and a spectacular gym. This is definitely going to make my home recommended to all my friends. I am well impressed with their service wow I recommend it 1000%

    Upon moving in….Had some hiccups with the maintenance in fixing things and still minor things which they seem to think it’s ok. Well it’s the holiday weekend and I sought of planned my day to go to the pool early (11am)perhaps use the grill and the pool is locked up!!! All the gates to get in LOCKED! WHY?? No Bueno! Called the call center to put a request for maintenance to come unlock the gates an hour later nothing still locked!! So much for a great holiday wknd. Overall, the staff in the ofc is pleasant and willing to make things right.

    The apartments are lovely! The community is very safe and quiet and thats very hard to find these days. Definitely worth more than what you pay for. They have weekly events, which i think was one of the big influencers that brought me and my husband to The Mason. Mrs. Jerri especially is so kind and a very authentic person, you can seriously tell she cares about the residents because she’ll actually conversate with you; not at all the experience I got in my last apartment complex. Maintenance usually comes in 24 hours or less too so i think that is pretty amazing because its been so helpful when something urgent occurs.

The staff (Villma, Bryson, Jeri, and Brody) are very professional and they attended to all my needs. whenever I needed help with rent or maintenance issues, the staff was always available to commandeer my needs. The maintenance staff was very fast whenever I placed a work order. I literally would go to work and I would return home to a work order on my counter top. I also liked their onsite courtesy officer that lived on property. He was very professional to me and he returned my call that I placed with the live after hour voice mail on one occasion. Overall I am very satisfied with this property and the staff, and I will miss them dearly. Villma, Bryson, Jeri, and Brody were down to earth and made me feel welcomed every time I would enter the front office. If I was not buying a home this property is where I would stay.
