    Edit: Right after I wrote this review, Desiree the leasing office manager called me to know what has happened and to make things right. Desiree heard me patiently and assured me that she is going to talk to the ladies at the front desk especially Rhea. So updating from 2 star to 5 stars now.I am living in this community since Aug 2023. The new management is really rude.I went into ask some questions to transfer to a new apartment within the community.Olivia Mott is being respectful and trying to help me out. However, the other lady who sat next to her, I am not sure what her name is (may be Kaitlyn) is so so disrespectful when I was talking.She was interrupting my conversation with Olivia Mott and being so rude to me in giving me one line answers although I was actually trying to talk to Olivia Mott.P.S: I miss the old leasing manager Haley Fletcher and her team. They were really amazing. This new management is giving me thoughts about even moving to a whole new Cortland.

    I moved in May 2021 and have loved living here.The office staff is wonderful. The maintenance staff handles issues with a quick response and completes what they do. The amenities and common areas are very kept up and clean. The apartment is spacious and newly remodeled. Feels like a resort honestly. A lot of families and young professionals live here. I recommend this community as a wonderful place to live.It’s in a convenient location to Dallas, Plano and Forth Worth.

    I LOVE it here. You get what you pay for- the best and most peaceful living experience, a beautiful area, and convenient access to highways and shops. Mail/packages are delivered accurately, service requests are taken care of within 48 hours. Management has frequent resident events and communicates information to residents consistently. 10/10 recommend Cortland La Villita!

    We just renewed our lease. I love this apartment complex and our large floor plan. Even with some updates, the apartments are a bit older than many in the area. But I will take the amazing maintenance crew and very pleasant, professional, and responsive office staff over a newer complex being poorly maintained and managed any day! No place is perfect, and some things are out of their control, but they make every attempt at making community living near perfect.

    In the beginning of this month I toured this place with Cassandra from the leasing office. The community is amazing. The apartments are so well renovated inside, youd think they are brand new. The pool area looks like a resort, the dog park is big and under tall trees, that is great for going out with your pups in summer!I decided to apply and the whole application process was very easy. I had so many questions and Cassandra and Haley addressed all of them and helped me through the process.The location is another plus for me. It is close to my work in Irving, and you can get on 114 very quick. The neighborhood seems nice, and I simply cannot wait to move in May and to have such great staff in the office if I ever need help with something!

    I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and I’ve loved it! The staff is great and understanding, especially Haley who is one of the managers. Service requests are always fulfilled immediately, and the service team is so friendly and polite. The community is always clean, and I’ve never had any issues with anyone being loud. Also, this location is 10 minutes away from all your major stores and a quick 15 minutes to the DFW airport. Highly highly recommend this apartment complex :)

    I love this particular cortland community. Haley is amazing. she deserves a raise. Immediate response, very helpful, always willing to listen, takes immediate action.Alejandra was my leasing agent and she is great too. There is like no lag in services, communications anything. Eric is great too with all services. I would also want to add John is great too- I had some issues and asked him to help me with delivering an Instacart order at my place- he did that immediately. This is such a nice and positive community.

    My fiance and I have lived at this location for a while now and it has been wonderful. The community is beautiful and clean. There are a lot of amenities including a gym, pool, rec area, and dog park. We have dogs so having waste stations around the community is super convenient. The team here is extremely friendly and open to helping any needs. They have GREAT communication with residents regarding anything from local events to community changes. They also host several community events, such as Food Truck days or Breakfast on the Go days. If you want the experience of a luxury apartment ran by the kindest staff, put this place at the top of your list!

    We have lived in Cortland for a little over a year now and cant say enough great things about it! Its a peaceful and friendly community in a fantastic location, minutes away from the Toyota Music Factory and with quick access into Dallas. The apartment itself is nice, modern, and has great natural light, and the grounds are well-kept and peaceful. Everyone from the leasing office has always been kind and helpful and the maintenance staff is truly the best we have experienced. Huge shout out to Alex with maintenance – he always provides great and quick service and goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. Highly recommend living here!

    We moved here December 2021 and we’ve been happy here since. It’s quiet, clean and family + pet friendly. When I moved in, the staff personalized my welcome including a toy for my dog and a welcome sign for me and my daughter. That meant so much for me. The apartments are updated and the amenities are well maintained.

    Ive lived here for almost a year and have zero complaints! The leasing staff is the best and the service team keeps the community in perfect shape. Ill never forget the morning my car needed a jumpstart and Esau and Eric stepped in to get it running again. There was even a time when Alex helped carry a really heavy package up to my apartment because I couldnt carry it myself. If you live here, youll be in good hands!

    We love living here! Cortland is easily one of the cleanest, safest, and most comfortable apartments we have rented! While rents are expectedly high, you get exactly what you want in a luxury apartment.Besides the obvious amenities and apartment features, I especially like how quickly management and everyone who works here are to fix any issues. Pest control works more efficiently than I’ve ever seen, and roaches are nearly nonexistent (even at times when other apartments are swamped with them).Maintenance is complete much faster than you’d expect (sometimes just an hour after placing a service request).Management (shout out to Haley) is always kind and communicative! While other complexes have management that extend kindness only to get you to sign a contract, Cortland employees (literally everyone) are 100% the same each and every day. I respect their integrity and dedication to amazing service!Lastly, neighbors here are generally much better than other complexes. While you may have a loud neighbor above you or loud dogs nearby, everyone is courteous and respectful. From what I’ve seen, all dog owners put dog waste in one of many dog waste bins (always stocked with waste bags).Nice neighbors plus close proximity to the lake, canal, nice parks, montessori schools, excellent dining options and all your favorite grocery stores make Cortland La Villita a prime location to call home.

    We moved in at the end of June and couldnt be happier! The community is quiet and friendly and super clean. We love having the Bark Park for our sweet doggo to run around and the pool is beautiful! The community team is very communicative and made our touring and move-in experience 10/10. Our apartment was recently renovated and has new appliances and clean looking finishes. We love the layout and hope to stay here for the next couple of years!

    This is a beautiful community! The leasing staff are so friendly and helpful. I love using the car wash in the back and walking around the nature trails in the neighborhood. The Resident events are also very nice, I love the bagels for breakfast and popsicles by the pool!

    So far me and my Fiancé have loved living here. The move in process was very simple and the staff has been excellent to work with and very helpful with any questions or concerns we have had. We needed a few minor things to be taken care of inside the apartment, maintenance wise, but the process to fill out work orders was very easy and they have all been handled very quickly, efficiently and professionally. The property technician Eric Rodriguez has been the one to handle all of our work orders and did great work! Get that guy a raise!

    We moved to cortland La Villita on last year and our experience is best. The service and communication is exceptional.     2023 Update - Still live here cuz this place is pretty great. Haley at the Leasing office is phenomenal!. Definitely recommend this place, its convenient and roomyWe moved here June 2020, love out apartment, the apartment complex and the location. However, they just gave the lease renewal with the rent increase of almost $400 per month. That is insane. When we talked about this, their excuse was renovations, and that we need to pay the extra rent even though we have the Classic apartment.How is that fair?, We recommended this apartment complex to all of our friends, but thats going away.Advice, wait till tenants move out of their respective apartments to renovate. Not try to increase the rent just to get people to move out.Giving 2 starts cuz the maintenance staff, and front desk person at the leasing office are great.

    I have been a long term resident at this community. I have seen not so good and some good managers. However, I should say current manager is outstanding. He is willing to to go above and beyond to help residents and provide the best possible service.     Ive lived here for about 3 years. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom with a small yard. I loved both apartments! Office staff are always nice and helpful and maintenance takes care of work orders quickly. We use the dog park regularly and sometimes people can be lazy about picking up after their dogs, but the office will send out reminders if it starts to get bad. Its a great place to live.

    Best place I have ever lived. Staff is amazing. Courteous and accommodating. Maintenance is on top of their game. I have never had to complain about something more than once. Appliances are new.     Im living in this community for about an year now.. and has lovely experience with management and staff. Gabbie and the new manager is very approachable and understand the needs of residents and takes necessary actions to fulfill it. The amenities are also good and well maintained.. swimming pool, gym, barbecue area, front desk everything gives a pleasant feel and enhance our living experience everyday. The maintenance is also very active and resolve the problems at once. Overall, it’s been great living here.

    I LOVED my short stay here for so many reasons. First off, we moved from Seattle to Texas for a job and we did our research online before coming to tour. All the other properties we visited didnt live up to the expectation and we found Cortland LaVillita on our wayto a tour at a community nearby. So after that tour we went to Lavillita Cortland and toured with Haley. We were impressed with the quality curb appeal off the bat. The pool, the gym, the resident lounge area are all so beautifully well kept and clean. What you see on the website pictures are definitely what you see in person. There a lot of things I loved about this community but let me name a few. First off the staff, they are amazing! They respond quick to requests, leasing team is very accommodating and helpful. Kudos to the maintenance team as well because they do an amazing job at attending to our request quickly. The parcel locker service made it convenient to securely have our online orders delivered. The gym has a fitness room where you can play a variety of fitness classes from Yoga, cycling to Zumba, my absolute favorite place to go work out. Our apartment home had brand new kitchen appliances, granite counter top, and ample size walk in closet ( believe we had the baroque floor plan). The location is also very ideal. Nearby Toyota Motor Center, just a quick uber ride. Lots of walking trails around. The team also hosted a few community and resident appreciation activities and events. Free gift wrapping paper at Christmas. Taco truck event was great. Enjoyed coming in the office to grab free brewed coffee. I was not disappointed at all during my short 6 month stay there from December 2021 to end of May. It felt like a mini resort vibe. Im sad we had to go and we didnt get to enjoy the pool. If ever I come back to Texas I will definitely come back to live here again. Definitely high quality living !

    Good experience working with the staff here. We misunderstood and signed another lease thinking that we can move out as we were on month to month.     I want to say that Erika in the office is amazing. I came to look at the complex to transfer from another property. I had explained to her that I had been having a horrible experience at another Cortland property. Erika went above and beyond for me. There was 2 reasons I didnt sign. 1 I needed a unit at the end of December which there was none at the time. 2. The charge for covered parking. But my choice was mostly due to the time frame. My current situation was getting worse where I already was and I wanted to be out by the end of December. All in all, Erika was outstanding!! Thank you so much!!

    By far the best rental experience from the application to move in!! I cant believe how smooth the transition was moving here and Im so happy I chose Cortland la villita. First of all, the grounds are beautifully kept, the unit is spacious and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home, and the staff are so helpful. Next, Erika the leasing agent is a true gem and powerhouse in the office. She made sure I was well aware of each step in the leasing process and updated me as soon as my unit was ready. She is the glue that holds this amazing property together! She is prompt, courteous, and all around just a great asset to have on my side. All around I am very proud to call Cortland la villita my home. Thank you to all staff for your dedication to your tenants, you are more like extended family to me.

    We are 5 months into our stay at La Villita, after running into a few hiccups at move in, I was expecting to not enjoy my time here. In all honesty, I was completely wrong. I cannot give Haley and Caroline enough praise for their customer service. Now in days that is hard to come by. The maintenance guys are top tier as the handful of request I’ve had, we’re completed the same day if not the following morning. While the pricing might seem a bit higher than their competitors, you really do get what you pay for and more. I’ve been in property management myself for years and have never seen a property run so efficiently and customer oriented. They are constantly transparent with anything going on, or any adjustments being made and I can assure you any negative reviews are from things out of their control. Thanks La Villita team, as I’m sure you don’t hear it nearly as much as you should !

    I have lived at La Villita since 2015 and have truly enjoyed living in such a lovely property. Maintenance is completed generally in less that 12 hours. The grounds are manicured and kept clean. Staff is very professional and effective. The gym facilites were updated this year and they added microwaves and new blinds.

    Best apartment complex Ive lived. The apartments are new, equipments are of high quality, warm and multi-member office that makes sure someone would always be there to help you out and a quick turnaround of service requests. That should be all you need, but, you also get the picturesque lake that gets connected with a beautiful canal, studded with ornate lambs making your evening walks an enriching one. I would never have moved if not for my job. Rest assured that if I ever move back to Dallas, here is where I am staying.

    Really loved living here! I had the urban upgrade in my unit which includes stained concrete floors and dark cabinets and modern fixtures so it was pretty swanky. My dog loves her little yard. The staff is really great and they really listen to you and care. Meia was awesome throughout my tenancy!!

    Amazing apartments and prices! Just moved to Texas from Flordia and we needed something spacious but affordable. The 2 bed 2 bath apartment is perfect! Thanks to Erika (I think that is how she spells it) for such a great tour. She really listened to all our needs and found the perfect place for us!     After reviewing multiple apartments in Irving area, we finalized this apartment. Well maintained, pest free and friendly office staff. The service requests are addressed within a day(mostly). Close to the schools and safe community. I constantly see them seeking for feedback and taking necessary steps to fix it.

    New management is helpful and addressed the noise concerns.I have been resident of this community since 7 years but never felt this frustrated. I have been complaining numerous times in regards to noise (running & Jumping) from upstairs but the management doesn’t seem to care. Sent them multiple emails with no response. Called on call officer. Trying multiple avenues but the issue still remains. I am helpless, I cant effort to move out since I have to bare move out expenses. The management has prompt response on most of service concerns but for the noise issue looks like residents has to solve themselves which is frustrating. This is the same concern lot of residents has, I see numerous complaints on the community wall in regards to noise issue. Hope Management addresses the noise issue as they do for any other service requests.

    Where do I start. This place looks beautiful from the sidewalk. If I could give this place more stars I would. Walking into the leasing office you will immediately feel like you are at home. Erika the leasing consultant is by far one of the best in this business she will go out of her way to find all the answers to your questions and make you feel apart of the community. Gabby assistant community manager and Tamara the community manager have shown how much they will go above and beyond for you and their community. The staff is great and I would like to especially mention about Elsy Bonilla who have been extremely helpful every time I visit the leasing office. All the service requests are handled almost the same day or at the max next day. I would strongly recommend this property to friends.

    Living here since two and a half months and I love it here so far! The staff is very approachable and friendly! Just a request though, if parking can be allocated apartment number wise, as usually we end up parking pretty far from our apartment building due to others taking up the space near our building.     The staff at Cortland La Villita are amazing. Erika in particular made my transfer process as smooth as possible. Always professional and courteous she was quick to offer to take me for another walk through when the unit that was available was slightly different then the one we first toured just to be sure I would be 100% satisfied. Highly recommend anyone looking for a safe friendly environment to join the La Villita community.

    I have lived at La Villita for close to 3 years now. It is a great community, very well maintained and the neighbors are really nice. The management is very good and the staff - Gaby and Elsie are excellent. Very prompt with any maintenance request and they even raise it for you.

    This is one of the best apartment to stay, specially if we have a service issue they will respond really quick. I am actively staying here from last two years.     Beautiful and quiet place to live in Las Colinas, my husband and I have 10 months living here and we are very happy to have chosen this place, we live a few minutes from restaurants, supermarkets, amazing lakes, recreation places, and parks. They also offer affordable rental prices and the staff is attentive and willing to help. I would have liked to give them 5 stars but some of the gym equipment could be renewed, I highly recommend this place.

    Really not excited about this new management. The manager seem to have the biggest attitude. They seem to blame everything on AMLI instead of taking responsibility for the complex now. They lost my lease renewal that I previously signed. I can understand being that their transitioning over. Went to sign another lease and so many things were wrong. The date, prorated amount and other things they couldnt explain. The manager wanted me to just sign it because they corrected SOME errors on the first page. I told her that I would like for the entire document to be correct. She sighed with an attitude like I did something wrong. I definitely miss AMLI. The staff with AMLI was very nice and considerate. I truly wish they didnt change management. This complex is too expensive to receive disrespectful service!!!!!!!I would like to give an update to my previous review. Pure has hired a new manager for the property. I am very much happy with the decision. Yesterday 2-Nov I went to the office to address concerns about not receiving package notifications. They figured out the issue and fixed it while I was there. Today 3-Nov I had a bad experience with the carpet cleaning company they contract with. After the person left Pure contacted me asking about the service. I explain the situation and they said they will follow up with the company’s manager. My point is that Pure Management had an issue & they fixed it. I am happy with their office manager & staff now. It sucks that they got off to a bad start but they deserve the credit for caring and fixing it. I am a happy tenant again.

    The best place to live hands down. I have to move because i got a job outta state but I am so sad I am leaving this place. Maintenance is there in less than one day, the units are amazing, spacious and clean,. In 2 years we never saw a roach or any critters. We had a balcony the size of many apartments. Management is great and its never noisy. Thanks for everything La villita team. I will definitely miss you.

    When I moved to this community I was transferring from Aleo at North Glen and Erika Echols assisted me with my transfer. This was in Feb of last yr so right before the pandemic when an appointment really didnt matter. Erika had impressed me with the way she handled the front office alone and accommodated everyone in a very personal and professional way. Needless to say I transferred to this community and Erika is still here with the same energy she had the day I met her, so if youre looking for a nice quiet community with a friendly staff THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

    Apartment looks good, definitely very spacious.They got 5 days trash pick up which most apartments on other side of Las Colinas lack.Car vacuum in the property was another benefit though least used. Most important, though it’s not a gated community but it’s pretty safe.I don’t give it 5 star because the laundry room stinks big time.Sorry, about the previous note, I was assuming my friend was just being funny and would not post review.

    Modern, efficient, and clean. I really enjoy all aspects of my apartment and the community. I think when you compare with nearby communities and in the general Las Colinas area you find the price really beats the value as many of the other communities are not nearly as nice or well kept. This is one of the first times Ive walked into a model unit to find it is maintained at the same level as the unit you will move into.The various amenities on site are excellent and convenient. On site playground for children which is very nice (and a Pokemon Go gym). There are numerous pet waste stations so theres really no excuse for not picking up after your pet! Theres a fenced dog park area that seems to be getting some doggy exercise equipment which will be neat.I love the office staff! Everyone is incredibly nice and responsive and somehow always remembers who you are and things about you. I feel guilty that I cant always remember things about them.Theres valet trash Sunday-Thursday so you rarely have to hike over to the trash area unless youve got large objects or heavy trash. Its nearby the laundry facility and car wash I have yet to try!Maintenance is very responsive. I think I called or put in a request online and someone was here to take care of it within the day or 24 hours.The location is also excellent for getting around. I-35 is just down Royal, 635 and George Bush are just up Riverside! 114 is just around the corner as well.Of course if youre into being outside theres the canal and lago area nearby, as well as an enormous walking trail thats down the street a bit. (Though with the mosquitos and rain weve had the trail gets shut down sometimes.)If youre looking to move to the Las Colinas area this is not a place to overlook. You will find just about everything you are looking for in this community.

    Okay, what can I say about the staff and the environment at La Villita! I was looking for a place that I loved and that was close to my Job. I was skeptical because I didnt want to spend to much and not have a place that would impress. I meet with one of the ladies up front and she informed me of what to expect with my application (which was super easy online). We picked 3 places out to look at and I only needed to see the first one. Move in was easy and fun, that when I met Meiha (~spelling) who was great! Super nice smiled the entire time and was helpful with information about the perks, local places to eat, buying furniture, and to top it all off I got a gift bag. LOL! I am really enjoying my stay here, hope they dont raise my rent to much when Im up to sign another lease. Come see what these guys are about. Its a great place to call home.

    I have been a resident of AMLI at La Villita since Oct 2014. I never had any problem, maintenance is quick, staff are friendly( but sometimes we have to wait a little longer to get hold of them). Cost of the rent is fair (considering sq.ft:price) and wooden flooring. After my lease ended I wanted to move to a different apartment within the same complex and transition was easy, and i was charged ~$160 for the move out (includes $100) which i feel honestly fair.+ives:Excellent Apartments (Clean and Modern with wooden flooring), Maintenance staff are responsive. Friendly Staff.-ives:No Microwave and no Washer and Dryer.Advice to the Management:Please add more Staff Members, it really hard to get hold of them sometimes.

    I would like to appreciate the property , the location of the property is very very nice , especially if we have kids and the old people , they have a very big playing area for the kids and a huge walk park for the residents near the lake , we also have ducks in the lakes so we can help them by feeding them with food so god will help us some or the other time , so its a best place to live and enjoy the livelyhood , now the property manager Maria she is not only a good manager but also a great human being which not only helps by providing all the solutions to the problems but also helps us to provide regular updates on day to day basis , if we go with one problem she will try her best to provide atleast two bestsolutions for the same , also the leasing director leslie , she also helps in all the context whether its related with lease or anything , a great human by heart . so if anybody wants to live in Irving texas , please try to book apartments in pure at la villita , you will enjoy the ambience and the time you spent in the property. From the apartments perspective , they are very spacious and on the first floor you will get a small garden where you can enjoy your barbiques on weekends , so overall its a great staff and have all the features of the 5 star Hotel.
