I recently moved into Cortland galleria and have been really impressed with both the apartment and the outstanding customer service. The leasing team made the process smooth and easy, and the maintenance staff is quick and professional. The property is exceptionally clean, with well-maintained grounds that make it enjoyable to walk around. The management team goes above and beyond to ensure residents are happy. I’m already feeling at home here and highly recommend it!

I had a great experience living in this community. In the 13 months I stayed here, I had virtually no issues. My apartment was on the fourth floor. Moving in was easy because they have a decent sized elevator and there was never any issues with it. I always had a peaceful living experience, never had any noise issues. The apartment I got was very clean and free of pest issues. They have great amenities like gym, swimming pool, business center, free coffee at the leasing office, courtyard, etc. The vallet trash pickup comes every weekday which is super convenient. Maintenance has always arrived on time and taken care of everything. I also like that they hold regular celebrations for special occasions and holidays. They also have free weekly yoga and kickboxing classes. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Im leaving only because I want lower rent. But if you can afford living here and dont mind paying $1700+ rent this is an excellent community.Some unique things I found about this apartment:1. There is no trash can provided when you move in. You have to buy your own. All they give you is a metal tray outside your apartment where you put the trash bags for valet pickup.2. In the Emerson 1b floor plan, the bedroom door into the bathroom has no lock. The photo I have posted of the double door is the door into the bathroom and it looks like a closet door.3. The balcony platform on some units is just a metal grill. Its hard to stand barefoot on it and also hard to use table and chairs outside because the legs can sometimes get stuck in the grill. So you need to lay some carpet before you put furniture there.It was also a great experience touring the property. Julie was really professional and friendly and definitely knows how to make people smile.

Just renewed my lease today after being here for 3 years and I have to say that it took longer than expected when I came to the leasing office. I had a great conversation with the staff and they were super friendly and gave me a great deal on my renewal. Happy to be here for another year and thank you everyone in the leasing office that helped me with my renewal! I highly recommend to check this complex out if you’re looking for a new home!

I have lived here for a year and love it! Maintenance comes within 24 hours, broken elevators have been fixed quickly and random messes in the hallway have been cleaned up quickly. I also feel very safe here, even walking alone at night. Only negative I have experienced here is doors being broken for a while but it didn’t concern me since the area is so safe.

The apartment and rooms are great. The pool and gym are convenient. Location is great. Right off major highways, right next to the galleria mall. Easy access to Addison beltline and legacy west. There’s also a bus stop directly in front of the complex that can take you to uptown and downtown Dallas.

From the beginning to the end , I was met with nothing but professionalism and genuine kindness from the ladies in the office. Every step in the process was with ease and they are very quick to respond to emails/communication which is huge for me. The property meets and exceeds my expectations by far. Was a little skeptical about the enclosed hallways and they do such a great job of keeping the property clean and functional. They also stay on top of service requests which is obviously a huge plus. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful community to be apart of.

I love living here! I moved in last August and honestly it’s the best place I’ve ever lived. Management is honest and upfront, the dog park is well maintained, and facilities is sooo responsive AND friendly. I have a dog that’s nervous around strange men and every one of the men that have come to fix something gently loved on her. There’s also great coffee, a resident lounge, and fitness center with stair stepper. Honestly couldn’t ask for more.

I have been a resident of Cortland for almost a year in one of its communities. Still, looking to relocate closer to where I could facilitate access to the most central areas where I operate, I found this community, Cortland Galleria. Without basically having time to do so many moving procedures, I was assisted by a highly professional, friendly, and extremely diligent staff who, knowing how quickly I needed to move, were at the top of their capabilities and even making space to assist me, my first tour of the property was given to me by Walter Gonzalez who he proudly took me to all the common areas where I could appreciate the order, cleanliness and everything that has to do with the maintenance of a complex of that magnitude. In the office, I was assisted by Kai Uayan, who without wasting time processed everything I needed, took me to several units, and remained in constant contact throughout the process. I have lived in many properties in my years living in Dallas and this experience that Cortland Galleria has given me has been the most pleasant and the best transition of all the places I have lived. Thank you for making this process quick, easy, and bearable.

Lived here for 15 months and if it weren’t for my job relocating further away, I definitely would have stayed. From day one on my tour, I have received exceptional client service. Nada, Marco and the rest of the staff have always been extremely kind and are very responsive. The apartments are very quiet, almost sound proof. My neighbor had a little baby and I never knew until I saw him. The location is 10/10 because you have easy access to the toll and 75 so going downtown, further north Dallas and even Arlington is convenient. And the rent was the lowest that I could find for what you get compared to other apartments in the area. Totally recommend!

I’ve been here for a week and I’m highly impressed. The move in process was seamless, the leasing staff goes above and beyond for you. The residents are so friendly and nice. It’s a quiet, peaceful property. Maintenance is on it, easy to file requests.I do wish they would go around fixing all the doors around the property that go to the garages. Some of the handles are barely hanging on. The trash situation isn’t my favorite but they do go around cleaning each floor of the property so it smells nice. (You just leave your trash bags outside your door until valet gets them)Otherwise, location is fantastic and this will probably be a property that I’ll stay in for a while.

I recently moved from another state. The reason why I chose Cortland was because the staff demonstrated the best customer service out of all of the other apartments that I contacted. Nada provided a virtual tour and I worked with her consistently throughout the process. Customer service and communication has been excellent.Though I have only been here a week, I will say that the apartment was exactly as expected. A few minor updates could be applied for the price and I have noticed some residents are not as clean as it relates to pets and/or trash but overall, no major concerns. Very safe environment. I would give the apartment condition overall 4/5 stars but if you are looking for excellent service, I would rate 5/5. I am very impressed with the entire team at Cortland.

She went above and beyond for me during my apartment search (including numerous and very sporadic tours, a million questions and so many emails) and you can really tell she cares about this community. I have been staying at Cortland Galleria for a year. I will say this community is AMAZING! The staff is so kind hearted and very helpful.The maintenance team is Wonderful, knowledgeable and prompt when it comes to resolving issues in my home and maintaining the property.The whole staff is a true delight to be around, just passing someone in the hallway or come down just to get coffee. Yes we have a coffee machine with a variety of drinks.The office staff hosts events and show the residents how much they actually appreciate us! We have several events (game nights, fitness classes, we even had an Easter egg hunt). Don’t just take my word for it, if you’re on the search for a new place to call home, stop by and meet the office staff and let them take you on a tour of the property.FYI you will love the pool and palm trees, just in time for summertime bbq’s. 😊

My apartment is nice just wish it was a little bit bigger for the price. On the plus side you can transfer to a bigger apartment or a different cortland location with no extra fees after being here for a year.

I lived at the Cortland Galleria for one year and highly recommend!! I have never lived anywhere with better staff - Maintenance is prompt and called me immediately with updates on my requests. The leasing office always picked up the phone or called me back within the day whenever I had questions. Dealing with the office can be a daunting part of living in an apartment and Cortland Galleria took all those stresses away.My unit was great also - the space was efficiently designed so that there was a lot of great storage and it had the modern look I desired while apartment hunting. Very few maintenance issues that were taken care of quickly (as I said above).In terms of the community, great location walking distance to the Galleria, eateries all through Addison, and easy access to really anywhere I wanted to go in DFW. There were community events ~2x/month and I frequently used the amenities (especially the gym). Lived there as a solo female and never felt unsafe.TLDR I highly recommend this apartment wand it’s a great spot to be in north Dallas area!

I lived here from March 2020 through December 2022. I loved it! The only reason I left was to downsize and they dont have studio apartments. I transferred to another Cortland complex before my lease was over! I did have some problems with water leaking through the floors when it rained, but maintenence was responsive and fixed it for the most part. I believe its because its an older building. Other than that I rarely had issues. The gate to the garage does break often, even still when I go visit friends. I met people through the yoga classes there that Im still friends with!

Our tour was great showing all the amenities of the property. Julie was able to help our Daughter find the right unit to meet her needs and before we left provided all the information we need to help make an informed decision including availability and quotes for all the units we were interested in. If anyone is planning on visiting the Cortland Galleria property please ask for Julie!!

Lived here 6 months. The property was upkept very well and the common areas (pool, gym, coffee area) were always clean. Close vicinity to the Galleria Mall is a huge plus for mall shoppers. My only issue was traffic noise from the nearby highway. If you are sensitive to noise pollution be aware.

From the amenities, services and constant communication from the office staff.Id also like to acknowledge the service team, specifically Jesus the service manager and George the service tech. Ive had quite a few things that have needed repair over the last few weeks and theyve done a great job communicating and getting the job done in a timely manner. Id honestly say this has been the best service team Ive encountered while living at an apartment complex. Hands down, easily the best apartment complex we have lived at. I don’t usually write reviews but our experience here deserves a merit. Customer service is great, the front desk staff especially Brett for example, has always taken care of our requests in a timely manner. We are only moving out due to a closer commute but even then, we are staying at yet another cortland property. Also, shout out to the amazing maintenance crew!!! Keep up the good work everyone because your hard work does not go unnoticed :)

The complex was very clean she showed us around the pool, gym, hallways and we got to see the Emerson floor plan which was really nice as well. This property is perfect if you have a doggy since they have a bark park that was a bonus for us well as them having elevators! We can’t wait to move in

Overall the apartment is nice and has a great location.

I have lived here for 6 years and I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking. The location is perfect, my apartment has all the amenities I wanted such as tall ceilings, wooden floors, spacious layout and all new appliances. The maintenance team is amazing and Ive been so impressed at how quickly they resolve any issues and their professionalism. Most importantly the leasing staff and management are amazing as well and especially Brett who is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of. I’ve lived at apartments all across the metroplex and this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had!

I love living here so far. I moved to Dallas recently and leased with them online. The process went really well. Having never been to Texas before, I was nervous. When I finally got to the apartment, I was instantly amazed by all the staff. They are all very very friendly, and the new office looks amazing. My apartment unit was more than satisfactory upon moving in, and I like how quiet the place is. Compared to other apartments Ive leased with people being loud and hearing every single footstep. I have a nice view on the third floor especially at night with all the lights. I highly recommend

My wife and I moved here in early June and love it here! Our apartment is amazing and we made the right choice out of many to live here thanks to Alexis! Her assistance was and still is stellar. She is sweet, patient, understanding and ready to help you at anytime! I know she and her staff try hard to keep our community in tip top shape. I just wish everyone who lives here appreciate this and show this by contributing more consistently to the upkeep of our community. Even though the property is mostly clean and well kept, we cant expect only the Cortland staff to do it! We all must do our part to keep Cortland a wonderful place to live! So to my fellow residents. If you or your guess are one of the very few that drop trash on the floor or make a mess anywhere in our lovely residence, I implore you to please pick up and clean the mess! I am sure you love to come home to a clean parking garage, with a clean building that smells great😉! Other than that, with great Cortland staff like Alexis, and a mostly wonderful community, we love living here and do not plan on leaving anytime soon!☺️ So we 100% recommend Cortland Galleria!

If theres one thing Ill say to people looking at this place, its that the customer service is top notch! Nada has been so professional in helping me understand my options of leasing and worked incredibly hard to provide me the best options. Since I was leasing from Utah and hadnt seen the place, I was concerned what itd really be like. Well no worries! Nada took the time to FaceTime through the unit and amenities, and even kept me up to date when the specific unit type I wanted was available. Furthermore, she understood what I was looking for, and when a unit popped up that better fit what I was looking for, she pounced on it right away! Theres more to the leasing than just the unit, and Im very happy I got a unit that fits what I was looking for.If youre looking, you might as well check this place out. Worst case scenario, you get to experience some amazing customer service haha.

Excellent location and great modern apartments in a prime location. Enjoying my stay here, the apartment is spacious and they keep organizing events and weekly yoga classes even during Covid times. Love their coffee machine 😄. Some recurring maintenance issues - elevator, trash / smell around parking, gym sanitizing wipes etc but nothing major as such. One suggestion would be for the clubroom - theres no way to charge a laptop if working from there. The office staff is amazing, courteous and very responsive!

I recently visited Cortland Galleria to potentially look for a future place to call home and I loved it! The apartments have a beautiful pool, gym, and rooms. All of their staff is very attentive to small details and ensures that all residents are content. Karla Camacho was the Leasing Consultant who attended me and gave me a tour. She listened very carefully to my needs and gave me a great vibe about the apartments! Karla showed me that every staff member in Cortland is passionate about making their residents feel welcome. I will definitely consider moving in.

I really enjoyed living here. They recently renovated everything about the property, making it feel like youre in a brand new place. The office staff is awesome and really try to go the extra mile to do unique and fun resident events a few times a month. Maintenance was always very responsive and professional. They had a nighttime security guard which was a great plus, and the residents in general were all quite and friendly. My only complaint is the service they use to pay rent online has a $41 fee so add that to your rent.

This place is great!I have almost lived here for 13 months and its been a wonderful experience. I moved in when Cortland had just taken over the management of this property and I haven’t had a single complaint about this place.Apartment wise, I got exactly what was shown to me and the location/price/property combination is the best in the area. Cortland recently started renovating this property and you can already start seeing that this property will become so much better in the near future. The new apartments look great and I’m sure the property will look amazing once the renovation is done.The living experience has been phenomenal as well. This area is secure and there is a guard on duty at all times. The management is responsive and really friendly. My main contact in the office was Alexis and she has been so helpful all this time. She was super responsive with the requests and quick to answer any questions. The management was really flexible with my requests and they never made me feel like unwelcome. They also plan different events throughout the month to keep residents engaged with the community. The maintenance staff is really competent and would typically resolve your requests the same day, or at most within 24 hours. There are restaurants downstairs in the complex which is very convenient. The Hibashi bar has happy hour all day everyday for the residents. Parking is always plenty for any guests that come in and even though buildings are secure, they are accessible through call box.For anyone who wants to live in this area, I would highly recommend moving to 5 Thousand 5 Galleria.

Mercedes and Ansley were the nicest people I met while looking for an apartment and made me feel right at home! I love this community, its in such a good spot right off the tollway and 635 near the Galleria mall and has a lot of great places so close. The amenities are super nice and I love the modern feel of the apartments. The dog park is HUGE and perfect for my dog. Definitely recommend Cortland Galleria!

I love living here. Management is amazing and tentative. They care and are very kind and friendly. Although this is an apartment complex, I truly feel like it is a home and feel safe. Whole management is great, but I want to give special shout out to Karla because she is super amazing. She always takes care of maintenance requests and are top of it. She makes sure that the requests are completed and gives me confirmation on work orders and sometimes even gives me updates! :)I am very thankful to Karla for making this apartment much more amazing place to be for me.I am very thankful for the whole management team for hard work they put in for their residents like us. This property is the 1st property I have EVER renewed my lease for. That’s saying a lot. The maintenance team is the absolute best. The very few times I’ve ever needed maintenance for something they have been at my door promptly and taken care of the issue and then some. If I ever have a question for the office, I ALWAYS ask for Alexis and I have since the beginning. She is easily the most knowledgeable, kind, and helpful office personnel I’ve encountered over all of the various other places I’ve lived. My contract isn’t close to ending, and I can already say I’m happily going to be renewing! Love this property! My friend has lived here for several years now. And let me just shout out to the maintenance staff! Without them this property wouldn’t be in the shape they are in. Special kuddos to their most recent addition Jesus! My friend is super happy that he’s joined their team. After one of those appts ended early, I stumbled across Cortland Galleria(no locator I worked with had it listed). Nada was phenomenal from the moment I walked in. It was by far the best customer service Ive received throughout my entire weekend of being in Dallas looking at apartments. The apartments looked very modern, were in a good median location for me to go to work and visit friends in downtown area, and the price point for the area was very reasonable. I decided to make Cortland Galleria my new home in a couple months.

I have been living in the apartments for a month. I looked at several apartments around Addison. I use 635 and DNT a lot, so its super convenient, and the finishes are great for an apartment. It had the best features and lowest price of any apartment on my short list. I get almost no noise, but Im on the top floor and at the end. Plenty of parking spaces in the garage near the top. I have minor gripes but nothing that would lower the score, overall I am highly satisfied and would recommend this apartment to anyone. Just have reasonable expectations and pick a good unit when getting any apartment.

The problems created by the inattentive and apathetic previous management cant be fixed in a day, so everybody on here needs to give the new team a chance to catch up. My wife and I have enjoyed our time here and appreciate that we have a parking garage, interior hallways and nice furnishings. Im happy to have fresh faces in the office. My guess is that the people who are still having problems with management simply have a bad attitude and poor people skills.

Michael does a great job in staying in tune with the residents and I would recommend this place to friends and family

Im not sure why people are complaining of the Fire alarms. They may have had a problem with them before but the only time Weve heard them in the last 7 months is when there was a fire. Makes sense they would go off. I also hear people complaining of car alarms. I can see this if you are standing directly next to a car, but we only notice them occasionally in our apartment exposed to the north courtyard where the parking garage is audible. Its really not that bad.I have yet to be scammed or otherwise manipulated by the lies and coverups of the staff which happens at other properties as a default standard. So far everyone weve spoken to has been more than honest, eager to help, and by the body language they present it shows that they are treated well by management. Expecting much more from these guys is really beyond their duties but they still take such requests with a smile. Thats important.Another thing Ive noticed is people acting as if we live in some kind of unsafe environment. While it is quite safe thanks to the infrastructure laid down, there are bad seeds. The couple times I have needed assistance from the courtesy officer it was late at night and not only did they answer, they were coherent and ready to help.After coming from a property where a vehicle was shot up out in front of the office, this place seems like a safe-haven. I speak very highly of this place and others that dont appreciate possibly dont actually know how bad it is out there beyond the safety of our gated parking garage and RFID facility entrances. This is the safest complex I have ever had the pleasure of living in.Even though the pool has been out of order so far this summer, itll be fixed soon and we will be back out there mingling with others who truly appreciate what this beautiful property has to offer.

This review is based off the leasing process since I wont be moving til December BUT everything about renting at 5005 has been amazing. More specifically, Tennille is phenomenal. She took her time to make sure that I had the home I wanted as well as need. By her being empathetic to my needs, I felt as if we had connected, building a working relationship I could trust. I looked at a dozen in the area but chose this one as I could see myself living in a community such as this. This community is extremely beautiful and well kept. It could not be better located and is amidst a lot of shopping and restaurants. If offered amenities the most others in the area did not. They are extremely well valued and are transparent which I think can be very hard to find sometimes. Tennille answers emails at the drop of a hat and I cannot wait to finally be a resident of 5005!

Absolutely love the service at the Cortland Galleria. The people working at the front desk are so helpful and go above and beyond the service you’d typically expect. Karla helped me take a virtual tour during the pandemic which made this transition so much smoother.

Id say the location is pretty amazing as its right off the tollway, and right beside the Galleria. But what makes the place memorable is the customer service and the personable experiences each employee gives you from the moment you walk in, to the second youre leaving. 10/10.

I love living here. Its so close to everything, and it takes no time to get on the highway or walk to the mall. The renovations are amazing every time I go in to the office to get a package everyone is always so nice. I cant wait for the new additions.

I have lived here for 1yr. Management has changed. However I like the location which is centrally located to the malls, restaurants, and major hwys. The building is currently under renovations, but I have no issue or complaints and I renewed my lease. I love the location and property management activities for the residence.
