    My family has really enjoyed living at the Cortland Brackenridge. The location is great, both for the short commute to Fort Sam and for the accessibility of everything on Broadway and the surrounding Brackenridge area, including the golf courses, parks, and zoo.The units are very nice with updated appliances, countertops, fixtures, etc. The floorboards were recently renovated and they seem to be separating, but likely just the building settling.We are able to hear our upstairs neighbors pretty easily when theyre walking around or if they drop something, but the community is overall very quiet and respectful.Amenities like the pool, gym, and dog park are well maintained. I do wish there were more green areas within the complex.You can rent a covered carport or garage, but weve never had issues with the parking lots, especially since it is a gated community.Management and maintenance are great and extremely responsive. Kristen and Martha in the management office are wonderful, always professional, and ready to help. They are always hosting community events like pet contests, wine nights, etc.The facility and maintenance team is also great. Super professional, and have been quick to fix the few minor issues weve experienced.Overall, I highly recommend living at the Cortland Brackenridge.

    I am new to the community. From the first tour, to the signing of the lease Kristen has been amazing. I’m set to move in at the end of the month and relocating from out of state. She has made this transition so easy for my fiance and I. Any questions I have she goes above and beyond to answer. If you are looking for a new home I highly recommend working with Kristen. Trust me it will be an amazing transition.

    Came home to a leak in our apartment. Mr. Henry and his team quickly responded (They always do) to see what was going on. Our water heater needed replaced, so about 24 hrs later they had a new one in and got it installed.

    I am in my third year living here, and it has been a fantastic experience. Today, the day before Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful to Adrian Flores, a maintenance team member, who went above and beyond to help me out with something that came up. I would have had a frustrating day without his help.In the past, he also helped get to the bottom of an issue I had with electricity. (It turned out I was on the wrong meter due to an electricity company mistake. He helped figure out exactly what was wrong, and then the team informed the electric company.)I am so grateful that this complex has such wonderful staff overall and who stick around!

    Ive been a resident at this location for over 7 years. The most important reason is because of the staff here. Susan (the Property Manager) and Henry (the Service Manager) and their staffs have all been exemplary. The leadership at this apartment complex is unmatched, and I base this on the fact that Im familiar with at least a dozen apartment complexes around San Antonio, with 3 of them being luxury or in the higher ends of town. While other complexs prices were comparable and the amenities even more ostentatious, I continued to renew with Cortland at Brackenridge annually primarily because of Susan and Henrys stewardship.I cannot recommend this place enough. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. IF I had to move back to apartment living for some reason in the future, Id move back here in a heartbeat. Thank you to the team at Cortland at Brackenridge!

    Kristen is fantastic! She made the process of moving from out of state a breeze! She is super kind, helpful, and thoughtful. She made everything from the tour, answering our questions, to securing our documents after the application process easy and stress-free. Its so helpful and hopeful when agents are so kind and supportive.

    I lived at Cortland for just under 2 years, but I loved every second of it. The office staff are extremely accommodating and personable. They all always referred to me by name whenever I went in. I only ever had one maintenance request, and it was solved the same day in about 2 hours. The property is well kept and it is near Fort Sam Houston and the Pearl. I now recommend living here to all my friends in the San Antonio area.

    I have been living at Cortland Brackenridge for almost 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. All staff here are wonderful. I would like to acknowledge Adrian and Henry especially for their steady support and assistance with any and everything. They respond rapidly to any maintenance issue and resolve it very quickly. They are also very pleasant and great individuals!

    Just wanted to give a shoutout to Adrian Flores our beloved maintenance man. Always willing to show up when our AC is out, the heat is off even when it’s late at night, and to provide a warm welcoming hello. My dog is a big fan and thinks Adrian is the doggie ice cream man or something and he knows which golf cart belongs to him and runs after him for a treat. All the staff is welcoming and it means a lot to us since we are far away from home and away from family especially Adrian. If only our next community has someone half as good of a human being as him we will be lucky.

    Henry and the team are always super responsive. I had put a service request in and they were quick to attend to it, even fixed the issue on a weekend. Anytime I ever need anything I know that I am able to rely on them. Their turn around time is very fast.

    Cortland Brackenridge is a fantastic place to live! Close to downtown but still in a quiet and private neighborhood. Common areas are always clean and accessible and service requests are rarely needed and completed in a timely manor. Management makes you feel right at home! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

    Honestly is one of the best places to live if you want to be near downtown, southtown, the pearl and city aesthetic. The apartments themselves are nice and very comfortable. The staff in the office and maintenance really take care of their people living there. I never had to wait days for something to be fixed, even when something was happening after 5 someone still came even latest was 7 PM. I literally hold other apartments to be at this high standard. We wouldve stayed but some mistakes were made deciding to go to houston! Back in san antonio and this was the first choice but there was some opportunities work wise that was more north. Otherwise we would have definitely been back at cortland. I miss it there and I compare everything to cortland which thankfully we have where we live now. If youre considering cortland you will not regret it, its a great place to call home

    My husband and I lived here for two years and absolutely loved it. I was attracted to Cortland Brackenridge initially due to the amazing reviews and after seeing the place and living there, the reviews certainly lived up. They are located so close to the Pearl and I particularly loved running on all the trails that are right next to cortland. The maintenance team is SO nice and quick to respond to any issues. The front office staff go above and beyond serving the community and are always smiling every time I walked in. Management can truly make or break even the most luxurious apartments and here, the management exceeded all expectations. I always felt safe living here and truly recommend. If we hadn’t found our dream home we would have renewed a third time!!

    Kristen is absolutely amazing! She was so polite and sweet from the beginning to end in the tour process. She let us explore the clubhouse while we waited. She was more than happy to answer any questions we had. And it felt like she genuinely cared about taking care of guests and making sure they find exactly what they are looking for. I have rented at another Cortland property before and the staff is amazing. So I definitely would love to come back to Cortland for sure.

    I just moved out of this apartment after 7 years, and on the whole it was a great experience. The staff and maintenance teams are great, and we really loved our apartment.Three things to be aware of if you choose to live here: 1. Management does not seem to feel they have any obligation to notify you if anything goes wrong at this place. There was a night when 7+ cars parked inside the gate were broken into, and we didnt get so much as an email addressing it. 2. They will spring things on you with no warning, such as the parking lot being painted so your car cant be there, or they are going to come into your apartment to add complex specific wifi and all your belongings in the area need to be moved. You will receive practically no notice. 3. After 7 years we moved out and were charged $450 because there were unremovable stains in the shower. I was under the assumption we wouldnt be charged for normal wear and tear, and the shower was as clean as I would have expected it to be after 7 years, so them charging us to replace it when they almost certainly wouldve been replacing it for the new tenants anyway really rubbed me the wrong way. But hey, Big Corps gonna big corp, not much we can do about that.

    LOVE this place. My husband is in the military and after looking all over San Antonio, we’re so blessed to have found this gem. The front desk staff is so nice and helpful and the maintenance team is some of the BEST customer service I have ever received. Everything is so clean and beautiful. The dog park is amazing.. I could go on and on about all the other amenities being just as fabulous. I’m not sure how long we will be here but I’m really going to miss this place when we leave. Would definitely recommend Cortland Brackenridge to EVERYONE

    I am absolutely enamored with this community and the myriad of amenities it provides. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a warm and accommodating atmosphere whenever I visit the office. They maintain cleanliness and upkeep throughout the community. They send event reminders via text and prompt package notifications and the gym and pool are exceptional. Additionally, the expansive dog park stands out as one of the largest I’ve seen in an apartment complex. Without a doubt, I thoroughly enjoy residing here and wholeheartedly recommend this community.

    When I was looking into an apartment living in San Antonio Cortland Brackenridge checked all the boxes. I enjoyed, and still enjoy living at Cortland Brackenridge, that I renewed my contract. Best bang for your buck, centrally located and close enough to downtown SA, near major highway, among other city amenities. Walking distance from great food. Great gym (two stories), resort-style pool. Staff and maintenance teams are top-tier. Great community (students, military). If you are looking for a place to live in SA look no further.Update 8/14/23:Adrian from the maintenance team is amazing! Recently fixed my AC. Submitted a ticket early in the morning (6 am) and AC was fixed by 10 am. Great maintenance team!Update: 11/25/24The maintenance team is exceptional, consistently delivering high-quality work with efficiency and professionalism. Adrian, in particular, stands out for his dedication and attention to detail. Their efforts ensure everything runs smoothly, and their commitment to excellence is greatly appreciated.

    I recently moved out from there, but if anything was to be highlighted it would be Adrian from maintenance! His response time is super fast and he will make sure you are happy with your repair. He will also help welcome you and goes above and beyond! I had a package delivered on the wrong side of which door I enter and didn’t know it had arrived, but Adrian saw and notified me. As far as front office Kristen and Rick are the best. We always had packages delivered to the front office purposefully and Rick would always be happy to notify us when it arrived. He was even faster at notifying us than Amazon was when they delivered. Kristen is the sweetest and so patient and kind. I will miss living here.

    First off, Id like to say that this is a wonderful apartment complex to live in. Its in a prime location and super close to everything you could ever need.     Love living at brackenridge. Great central area, GREAT office staff, Susan and Sammy especially the are always kind and great to talk to and help get any concerns you have taken care of.A maintenance staff are AMAZING!!     The employees are so incredibly friendly and helpful! I had to find an apartment in a pinch and Kristen and Rick were so helpful, responsive, accommodating, and welcoming. Henry gave me a walk through on my first day. I’ve never lived anywhere that gives you a walk through and it was very helpful! Henry and his team were so awesome and helped me with everything I needed upon moving in. While I live my unit, the location, and amenities, the employees definitely make this feel like home.

    Living at Brackenridge has been the best apartment living I have experienced so far. The resident events are always fun, giving me a chance to meet new friends. I love having the options between the two 24 hour gyms, especially since I don’t have to leave my home late at night. Management has gone above and beyond since the moment I moved in. They even helped with watering my plants while I was out of town! The service team is quick and on top of any orders I have submitted, though it hasn’t been many. They are always kind and my dogs love them since they carry treats on them. I will definitely be renewing my lease when the time comes!Update: renewal just came around and Kristen and Susan were on top of it the whole time! I am so glad to continue calling Brackenridge home!

    I wanted to share my experience so far with everyone. Rick was and is amazing to work with. I was going back and forth between this complex and another and my decision was based on the customer support and the individuals working here. Rick was super kind and extremely helpful during my transition to move here. He provided a lot of resources and steps to ensure I didn’t have any issues moving in. The community is super nice and I’ve been greeted by other residents with kind welcomes.Maintenance is also super helpful and attentive. I had an ask and they were quick to address and assist. Maintenance even took the time to provide me with knowledge on water, heating and other things that could happen in the apartment so I can handle it with ease. I am very happy with my choice and look forward to calling Cortland my home for the next years to come.

    We moved in about a month ago and have had a great experience! Rick was very helpful right from the beginning with a tour and helping us with our lease signing. Henry from maintenance made it clear residents are their priority and it shows. We had an issue with our a/c not being as cool as we thought it should be and Henry got on our request within 15 minutes and had Adrian come out to take a look. A few minutes later Adrian found the problem and everything was fixed! Throughout this whole process everyone was extremely friendly. Ive never lived in an apartment with such responsive office staff and maintenance. Glad to have found Cortland Brackenridge!

    I have had the privilege of living here the last year and it has been amazing. I moved here from another state and CB instantly felt like home. CB staff are always friendly, professional, timely and feel like family. They take good care of the residents and look out for us. It is in a great location, a beautiful well kept property, safe and they have a host of fun events. Great gym too, when I manage to make it there or to the yoga classes that they offer. So grateful that I picked CB to live when I moved to Texas!

Adrian has helped me multiple times now and he is the only guy I’ve had in my entire life who took the time to not only introduce me to my apartment but he also took the time out of his day to show me around all the dues and don’ts of the apartment. Period. He even went as far to go ahead and tell me about all the amazing services that he and his team offer, and gave me contact to someone in case I needed additional assistance.I cannot express how impressed I have been by the maintenance team in the short amount of time that I’ve been living here!

    Ive been living here for one year now and I can confidently call this place my home.I was not able to tour in-person before signing, but the managers were very accommodating, and FaceTime/sent pictures throughout the whole process. They were so patient and helped me find the perfect floor plan (first floor, big patio, and kitchen island). I am absolutely in love with my space, the layout, and this neighborhood.Benefits:- Quiet neighborhood- Close to restaurants (walking distance)- Close to grocery stores (walking distance)- Close to the military base (10 minutes drive)- Right next to a big park/walking trailCherry on top:- Apartment pool/patio area is luxurious and clean- Monthly events (poolside yoga, food trucks, and random donut/pizza days)- Amazing front staff (Rick is always available to answer questions and always in a bubbly, happy mood)- Amazing maintenance team (Henry is on top of it with fixing everything from a leaky sink, washing machines, and the AC). I put in a work order and get immediate assistance, every time!Overall, this is a safe and comfortable neighborhood and I am so happy I made the choice to live with Cortland Brackenridge!

    Great place to live so far, definitely friendlier neighbors than my last apartment. And the staff are very professional.     We just moved into these apartments less than 3 months ago and we have been so pleased with all the office and maintenance staff! Adrian went above and beyond to help us get settled in-whether it was hanging stuff, fixing our light switch or checking our A/C. Henry and Richard have also been so helpful in helping with whatever we needed. We can’t say enough good things about them and how they have made us feel at home!

    I’ve been here for 4 months now and have 0 complaints. I’m in the military and needed a place set up before I moved here. I worked with Susan for months and the time she put in to make sure I was comfortable and confident in my decision to rent here, was unmatched. Anything that I need fixed or have questions about, the maintenance teams is on it within the same day. I’d rather pay the little bit higher rent to live here and have everything I could possibly need and actually feel safe and taken care of. Plus, the weekly food trucks are a fun bonus.

    When my wife and I were looking for an apartment, we searched all around Alamo Heights and other places close to JBSA. We were getting very frustrated until we came here to look. We felt at home here and were anxious to move-in, especially after meeting all of the office and maintenance staff. And after almost three years we are still very happy with our decision. Very special kudos to Henry and his maintenance crew. They keep the grounds and facilities very clean and are very responsive to any and all maintenance issues. Plus they are always greeting the residents and will answer any questions that you might have about any apartment and complex facilities. Theres a reason for all the 5-star ratings by the residents; because Cortland Brackenridge staff and facilities deserve them!

    I’ve lived at Cortland Brackenridge for a year now and I’m absolutely in love. The front staff is great, super nice and very attentive. They are always finding fun ways to interact with our community. The maintenance staff get things done quickly and efficiently with such nice demeanors. The location is absolutely perfect, 20 minutes max to anything you’d need to go to within San Antonio. The amenities are great, super clean and spacious. The pool is super nice and modern. The apartments themselves are all so nice with modern touches. I’m honestly so sad to leave this place!

    Living Here Has been Great. I feel like lots of other Communities could learn a thing or two from this property team. Maintenance orders requests get resolved by the time I get home from work same day, if not its the next day with a follow up email from The Property Manager.The Staff in the office are always organized, polite and Approachable. No matter who I talk to when Ive called they all seem aware and involved in whatever issue or concern Ive had, so I never feel like I have to re explain anything. The Location works great for me and I really enjoy that I dont see dog poop or untidy walkways from other residents. Residents all seem to be respectful of once another when it comes to noise & commotion. I look forward to staying here for another lease.

    Adrian is great! He is prompt to arrive after I place my work orders. He’s very courteous and always fixes my problems.     Wow! Went apartment hunting and this complex was recommended to me, so I decided to visit. I really liked the dog walk. My pup will enjoy that The amenities are outstanding and modern.     As a new resident of San Antonio, I have absolutely enjoyed living at Brackenridge! The community is very nice and very pet friendly. I really enjoy the dog park!The office staff is extremely friendly and professional which makes going to the office to get a package such a pleasant trip. Christina and Anthony both helped me in the signing process and were very patient with me and my mother, answering all questions. Christina made sure I had her phone number so that I could contact her with questions outside of office hours. It was very sweet of her! They both very patient and professional, making the process smooth and as easy as it can be.I have lived here for about two months and have not made a request for maintenance so I can not give a review on that aspect of the complex, although the one pest control request that I had made was done very quickly and efficiently! I have no doubt requests for maintenance would be quite similar.Overall, it is quiet and in a great location for me so I really enjoy the environment and living here!

    I came across Brackenridge while leaving a tour from a nearby complex and was pleasantly surprised by my visit! Kristen was nice and knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable. The community was in great condition, and the unit we toured was clean and obviously ready for move in. We won’t be moving until this Fall, but will definitely be staying in touch with the Brackenridge staff to lease in the future.

    Havent moved in yet, but from the very start I was so impressed with everything here at Cortland Brackenridge. When I first went to tour, Shane was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking into account all of my interests such as the big beautiful dog park. I was incredibly impressed with the facilities and the amenities. When I was beginning to try to zero in on floor plans, Sammie Watt was amazing in helping me pick out a place. She sent me various tour videos of the floor plans as I was not in the area, gave me plenty of options for accommodating my personal needs and was always professional, prompt, and responsive in answering my many questions over the course of months. I was able to sign the lease for the perfect apartment for me and my dog, with a great price worked out for me and a perfect storage space with exactly the space I needed. Sammie was amazing, I cant say enough great things about how smooth this process has been! Im looking forward to moving in and calling this my new home!

The front office staff have been awesome, from helping me select an apartment from overseas to making move-in quick and easy, my experience has been great so far! Maintenance guys are fantastic!! The complex is kept very clean, people actually seem to pick up after their pets, the dog park is huge and includes a washing station.     Sammie is the friendliest and most helpful manager! I love living here. Location is close to downtown and Brackenridge Park walking trails. Its gated, the community feels safe and clean.     We were glad to find these apartments and we’re thrilled we could move in so quickly after a terrible rental experience when we first moved to San Antonio.     This was the single best apartment complex that my wife and I have ever lived in - it deserves the excellent review score that it has.To start off, Id like to say that Sammie is incredible and truly made our time here feel like home - we were here for 2 1/2 years and she was there the whole time to make sure we enjoyed our time there. She worked with us when renewing our leases to be sure that we kept our great rent rate, and was very understanding when we had to move cities for family reasons.The maintenance team works incredibly quickly and efficiently - it never took more than a day for their team to come out and address any issues that we had, and they always went the extra mile to make sure that we were satisfied with their work.The complex itself is beautiful and never too loud, the other residents were always very respectful of each other and friendly, and we never felt unsafe being outside of our apartment at night.I dont write reviews often, but the incredible times that we had at Cortland Brackenridge warrant posting. If we ever move back to San Antonio and decide to live in an apartment, we would love to live here again.10/5 stars.

    I was visiting a friend at the courtland brackenridge and I was very impressed with the complex. it is very well kept. within my visit my friend had an issue with the AC. After calling in the issue, Adrian showed up. Again impressed with the response time.     Living here has been great! My apartment has all the good stuff and a little extra for a decent price compared to the places nearby. I love my garden tub and built in desk and my view from my balcony. The amenities are super nice too. Anthony helped find me the perfect unit within my budget and move in time period when I moved here a year ago, and helped make it possible for me to stay another year!     I have lived here for just over a year and absolutely love the location, close to amazing restaurants and parks. The bark park is convenient and large enough for my dog to mingle with fellow residents and their furry friends, plus it has a wash bay (super nice to not have to wash my dog in the tub).     I have lived here for nearly 6 months, and I absolutely love it!! Its close to JBSA, super pet friendly, and well maintained. The team in the office are always helpful and freindly, and the mainentance team is AMAZING!!! The whole team proptly responds to any questions or requests, and always take time to pet my pups (which they LOVE). The location is close to the Pearl, downton, and the airport, but quiet because it is far enough off the main road to avoid heavy traffic. I can walk to the pearl and be downton in 10 minutes or at the airport in about the same time.The gyms are clean and well maintained, the pool is always clean, and they have food trucks nearly every week. I would definitely recommend (and have recommended) this place to a friend or family member.

    I was looking into apartments in San Antonio or Austin for work and came across this place. Work ultimately decided Austin for me but I was very impressed with this building and the staff.     My apartment is much more than I had expected. The photos did not do it justice—vaulted ceilings, open concept, and so much built-in storage! I moved from a small 2 bedroom house to the McNay floor plan, and it feels much bigger than my previous home. The amenities are always clean, available parking is usually conveniently close, and the maintenance team is top-notch. I had filled out a service request and within 2 hours, I had my work orders filled. Front office staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with my concerns. The location is great too, close enough to downtown, Fort Sam, the Pearl, but tucked away enough to feel like you’re in your own suburb.

    Lived at this complex for 3 years. Initially, we were drawn to the apartment complex because of the excellent dog park and individual garage parking. Overall, it was a positive experience. One of the best things about the complex is the maintenance department. Every time we turned in a service order for maintenance, it was taken care of the same day, if not within the same hour. Even a minor request, such as changing a light bulb, was taken care of immediately. Awesome service!

    Ive lived at Brackenrdige for 4.5 years. The apartment managers, Susan and Anthony, do an incredible job taking care of the property.     My wife and I have had a great experience since moving here a few months ago. Staff are friendly, apartment is beautiful and spacious. Its well priced for the location, square footage and amenities. We did a lot of research before and are happy with our decision.I dont agree with the other reviews, I ride my bike to work in downtown and its a nice ride, drivers are friendly and I take Broadway most of the way, takes me only 10 minutes. The river walk is also right across the street. It takes me about 20 minutes to run on it to downtown. Weve also walked to the Pearl which is a mile, although by bike its super fast!As for parking, never had an issue and we dont pay for a covered spot. We have neighbors below and next to us, but dont ever hear anything.I think Brackenridge is plenty close to downtown as you would want to be, with the convenience of Central Market and access to the North not far away.

    Although I just moved in, I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Cortland Brackenridge. Right from the start of my apartment search, the Assistant Community Manager, Samantha Watt, went above and beyond to help me find the right apartment home that fit my price range and location preferences. She must have shown me 5 or 6 different units and answered my MANY emails asking for more options or answers to various questions...she would even answer on weekends when I knew she was not in the office.When I finally decided on a unit and started the move-in process, the maintenance man, Henry, walked through my unit with me to double-check all of my appliances/outlets/window covers/locks, etc. to answer any of my questions and assure me that if anything ever needed fixing they will respond right away to get it taken care of.After renting at 3 other complexes over the years, the staff here are by far the nicest and most attentive Ive ever dealt with.Other than the staff, the apartment itself is GORGEOUS, the complex is beautifully maintained, and the dog park is HUGE (which was the main reason I chose to look here in the first place).I was initially worried about moving so close to downtown since Ive always lived in the country, but I can definitely see myself staying here for the long haul. Even if the apartment wasnt this nice, Id probably still choose to rent here solely because of the wonderful staff.

    My roommate and I lived here during our senior year of college and had a great experience overall. All of the leasing staff we worked with were beyond helpful and friendly, and whenever we needed a work order, the problem was fixed relatively quickly. The units and resources themselves are great and, considering the proximity to the Pearl and Downtown, the prices arent terrible. Probably the only complaint would be the walls appeared to be fairly thin, making us feel like we had to walk on egg shells to avoid noise complaints, or seeming like we had surround sound speakers to hear the trash pick-up and gardeners like they were standing right next to us. For those who can afford more luxury-style apartments, I would recommend Brackenridge.

    I have enjoyed the year that I have spent here. The grounds are always kept clean with no litter on the ground and the grass and vegetation are always cut. The gym and pool are also cleaned regularly. It is always quiet with no loud music blasting or dogs barking all night which is why I moved from my old residence. The staff in the office are very professional and quickly address any issues as do the Maintence to any service requests you might have. I think I have only had one request the whole year I’ve been here and it was for something I thought was broken, but wasn’t. The units are great and have been maintained properly. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for all of these things above.

    We had the best Venezuelan waitress service us, very knowledgeable on the menu and accommodating. Everything on the menu is spectacular but make sure you ask questions bc the shrimp cocktail can be mistaken by a ceviche which it isn’t. My drinks were delicious and after bending down to drink my friend actually got on out so make sure you twist to get it out of the wooden board.

    I moved to the Brackenridge about 3 months ago. I was able to search for apartments around the San Antonio area a few months prior to that. From the moment I stepped into the leasing office, I was greeted with genuine enthusiasm by the staff. I worked with Anthony and he worked diligently to place me in an apartment that would meet my needs. He worked extremely hard to accommodate my timelines and keep me informed about what I needed to do to get ready to move in. By far the best customer service I have ever experienced!I toured apartments all over San Antonio and did some research to figure out what complex would be best for me. Everyone I spoke to in the complex absolutely loved it! We are close to the Pearl, right off Broadway (lots of food and activities nearby), not far from downtown, and I work on Fort Sam so the commute is perfect. There is a large pool area that is great for laying out. The grill area is extremely nice and well kept. The clubhouse is great for little activities and a great place to study. The dog park is my favorite feature. Most of the complexes in town have a little fenced off area about the size of a living room with fences that go up to my knee. That is maybe a good play area for Chihuahuas, but not enough to entertain a bigger dog. The Brackenridge has an enormous dog park that we just love! Never a dull moment.I recommend this place to anyone looking to rent an apartment in San Antonio, hands down! It was the nicest place, for the best price and location, with amenities that are second to none, and a customer service environment that will have you feeling like the center of their world. Come by and check it out, you wont be disappointed!

    This apartment complex is very nicely located. You are near the park and the Pearl, and the dog park is amazing. Very friendly staff, really nice neighbors. On the higher end as far as cost, but with being so close to downtown, it’s expected. My wife and I have enjoyed our time here, we recommend it.

    Cortland Brackenridge is a great place to live! The property is beautiful & the staff is wonderful, friendly and responsive! I enjoy being able to walk out my door and run or walk to many places nearby like the zoo, the park, the Pearl!     Great spot with excellent floor plans and amenities. Location is perfect to explore all of what San Antonio has to offer. The staff is the best I’ve ever seen. They don’t see a tenant as a contract. They see them as a friend and community member. Anthony is the man!     My wife and I are getting stationed in Fort Sam and looked at MANY apartments. We were extremely impressed with how the leasing process worked with Brackenridge. It was night and day compared to some of the other complexes we visited/inquired about. We walked in with almost zero intention of renting there/but just wanted to get an idea of prices. If you have the opportunity, ask for Shanitra! She took time to go through every question we had as first time renters, and we felt zero pressure through the entire process.Although we have yet to move in, it is clear that theres a different level of quality with these apartments. Theyre much more solidly built than any of the lofts/condos we looked at downtown. Theres tons of parking/pool is huge/its immaculate/gym and aerobics rooms were clean / and has the biggest dog park Ive ever seen at an apartment complex. Its about 5 minutes from the Pearl, only 2 minutes from Broadway, and were looking forward to running in brackenridge park. Even with all of that, it felt secluded and very safe. Excited to move here!Disclaimer: My wife and I have not moved in here yet, but still felt we could review it from the leasing standpoint.

    Been here a month and am loving it so far, staff is friendly and attentive, service requests are processed quickly, and most importantly its safe as everyone is following cdc guidelines as far as interactions go. Rooms are good size, the dog park is big, and the pool is nice. Definitely the most for your dollar in regards to the area.

    We have lived at Cortland Brackenridge for over three years, and love it. The office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful. They are friendly, but professional, and will help in any way. If there is a problem, it is dealt with quickly. Our apartment is roomy with nice finishes. We are central to so many things; the zoo, the Pearl, Central Market, the Witte, and the Botanical Gardens.     This place is fantastic! Compared to other complexes around, Cortland Brackenridge is the nicest I’ve seen.     I have been staying at Brackendridge since July 2016. The place was ready to go when I moved in. Apartments have been recently built within the last 1-2 years and look nice. The staff is incredibly nice and easy to work with. They keep up the area well and continue to add new amenities such as keeping the clubhouse area open until 1000pm. You get to be close to the Pearl (2-3 minute drive), Brackenridge park, Fort Sam, downtown San Antonio, and HEB while still being in a nice and quiet area away from traffic. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an apartment in San Antonio.

    Wanted to thank Anthony again for helping me search and rent my 1st apartment! He is extremely helpful & went to extreme lengths to serve us. He offered to assist me in changing the TALL shelve heights in the kitchen, and even dusted my CEILING light fixtures on day 1 of move-in. He answered all our questions & continuously told us to call him if we needed anything else. He made it possible for us to move in easy & with comfort. He is a down to earth kind of guy and a gentleman. He gave us area suggestions for food/living/shopping and truly treated us like royalty.     I have completely enjoyed my time at Brackenridge! The facilities are always clean and I have always felt safe living here. Its a great location- only a $5-6 Uber ride cost to downtown and about 20-25 minutes away from everything else (i.e. Stone Oak, La Contera). I am military and driving to work at Fort Sam and BAMC has been unbeatable. Its about 10 minutes door to door.I am moving because I have found a roommate and we were wanting a few things that Brackenridge cannot offer. Our new apartment is walking distance from the grocery store and other shops, has an elevator, quality appliances, safer location, and offers garage parking for no additional cost. I have lived in an updated McNay floor plan apartment and I can agree with the other reviews that some of the appliances look brand new and expensive but unfortunately are cheaply made. My new apartment has more square footage than offered in the two bedrooms has a better cost, with quality appliances that dont just look nice but are nice. This also contributed to my decision to move. Lastly, this location is great but it is not an area I feel comfortable walking alone in at night.That being said, I would recommend this complex to anyone! The pool is wonderful and the staff works hard to appreciate their residents with monthly events.

They go out of their way to help you and will even provide free events for residents (free food, prizes etc.). Unfortunately, when the buildings were first built, they must have been in a hurry, because the quality of the apartments and appliances is poor, but the new staff are excellent.

    Henry was quick to repair a water leak in our restroom with out hesitation late on evening. We reassured us he would be back 1st thing in am to finish the job early morning.
