I saw someones review said it was staged photos and what not. I guess I got a staged apartment because my apt is exactly like the photos. Bonnie and Yesenia are very friendly and attentive. The neighborhood is amazing. VERY CLEAN!!! And for there being one maintenance guy, he is on top of it all. I’m so glad I chose Charleston! I highly recommend this apartment complex.

Charleston has been a great home for me and my family. We were hoping to find a quiet and family oriented community. Can safely say we have now. Management has also done so much and continues to do so much to make our stay here the best. My fiancé and I LOVEDDDD it here so much! We were in our 2 bed 2 bath for a year and never had ANY issues. Any thing that required maintenance was attended to in a very timely manner our ac wasn’t working right and Bonnie sent out an AC company the next day and it was fixed super quick! It’s a quiet complex and everyone is super friendly. We are so sad to be leaving because we loved it so much but we got a house. 100000% recommend!!!!

I have lived 20+ years at Charleston. In that time I have experienced several owners and management teams. In that time Bonnie Crabtree has been the best by far.She puts her heart and soul into her job. Often I have witnessed first hand her working extra long hours to ensure the property is taken care of and that the residents are well informed(texts and emails) and have everything they need. In the last year she has had to endure numerous staffing changes through no fault of her own. She has handled this difficult situation with professionalism.

Hello, I was a resident at this apartment complex. When I had issues they were able to get resolved. My apartment had a garage and it felt like a home. I moved back to California and will forever miss my apartment at Charleston. The amenities were extremely nice (pool and gym equipment). I didn’t have issues with bugs in my apartment. If I ever decide to move back to Texas I would move back into these apartments. Thank you to the great staff who worked with my issues and compromised with me.

We love Bonnie at Charleston. Such a great person to work with and she is always on top of all her property’s repairs. We maintain her gates and they are one of her top priorities. With the recent rain we have been flooded with gate calls but we will get there as soon as we can.

I moved in a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed the apartments so far. The assistant manager I worked with, Aaron, made the process very easy and was incredibly accommodating around the holidays which was so greatly appreciated so I could get my keys and move in as quickly as possible. Not only that, but Aaron was incredibly patient with the questions I had as well as diligent in following up to make sure I had everything I needed as well as everything he needed on his end. Weeks later, when Ive run into questions or need assistance, he is as helpful, kind, and accommodating as he was before I moved in, which is, I believe, not as common as one might think when people move in. He always provides quick and helpful responses to questions and goes above and beyond for his residents. Ive really enjoyed my time thus far at Charleston and think the wonderful community is a reflection of all the work its managers and staff like Aaron put into this property.

I’ve never seen an apartment manager put in the work like Bonnie does. I’ve seen her cleaning the pools. Watering the front, and helping her team remove bushes. She is also very communicative with her tenants. We moved in March 2023 and have had nothing but great experiences. All of our work orders get addressed in a timely manner. Great place to live.

A few weeks ago, I came looking for an apartment on a Friday afternoon after 5:00. It was a very hot Friday afternoon at the end of a long week, and yet the leasing agent, Aaron, could not have been more professional, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He stayed right until about closing time asking all the questions I had about different apartments, since I wasnt 100% sure which type of unit I wanted. Unfortunately, things didnt work out and I had to let him know that I wouldnt be able to continue with the apartment I wanted, and he couldnt have been kinder. He said that he understood the situation I was in, and even offered another solution to try and see if it would work. His dedication to what he does, his sensitivity to his customers needs and wants, and his demeanor, kindness, and professionalism were all so greatly appreciated.Many times when youre looking for a new place, you know that youll end up in a spot that works and the leasing agent will be friendly but do just what theyre expected. But Aaron was different. He really did go above and beyond, helping me find the best unit for me, and taking the time to work with me, even though toward the end, it was clear things werent going to work out. While I hadnt had an opportunity to write this review immediately, I couldnt not write on his behalf and thanks Charleston for his help because I do plan to come back and hopefully work with him again to find that apartment unit thats the best fit. Charleston is lucky to count him among their staff; I can say (and dont say this lightly), that in my 12 years of apartment searching, he was the best leasing agent Ive ever worked with. Its greatly appreciated and recognized.

I’ve had such an amazing time at the Charleston! The leasing staff is always kind and willing to help - they respond promptly to emails and are very professional. The maintenance requests are always completed timely (usually within 1-2 days) and the requests are always taken care of. The property itself is really clean and quiet throughout the weekdays and weekends which is great. The amenities are great too! There are two pools to lounge at. The gym is also really nice and clean. And there’s always coffee/water/tea at the office if you’d like to pick them up. Bonnie, Christina, and Boyd are all great and most of the staff actually live on the property, which says a lot about the community and complex. I’d highly recommend anyone to live here!

I stayed here for 3 months on travel for work. The apartment I was in was very nice and modern. The complex is in a great location within San Antonio as it has everything you could ever need around it, and is only a 20 minute drive from downtown San Antonio. The assistant manager Aaron is very helpful and I would recommend reaching out to him with any questions.

Today is one year since I moved to Charleston. I renewed my lease because I like how I live in this place. The team at the leasing office is friendly and responsive. The community manager does the administrative work, but also takes care of the green areas and cleans the common spaces. Thank you Bonnie. I just love living here. The attached garages are wonderful and my home feels like a home. Everyone is so nice here and there are so many residents that have been here a long time. I really enjoy going to the office and seeing the staff. They are always delightful. The maintenance waive at you as you pass by. All the people walking their dogs visit with each other as I power walk around the community. Really the best place I have ever lived.

I’m absolutely happy with the property. It’s in a great location near many shopping areas, restaurants and the airport. Arron was extremely helpful and made the process very easy. One of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in. Management is very nice in the office. Christina helped us sign our lease and was great! Maintenance is always so quick to respond. Parking is limited, but there’s always spaces open for our guests by the fence with a short walk. Dog park is always clean! Even my dog has made friends with the neighbors here!

I have been apartment living for about 2 decades and this is the BEST place that I have rented from. Bonnie is wonderful, the leasing staff are very engaging, and the maintenance staff are very attentive. I am currently in my 3rd lease renewal. If you encounter an issue tell the staff in the office or put a work order in online and they will work to get it resolved. There are community events almost every quarter (they are nice and well executed). The grounds are kept up very nicely, the gates work, and newsletters constantly go out to keep residents informed of events, weather, and any other concerns management wants to address. :)

I have been living here for over 3 years, and this is one of the best apartment complexes Ive ever lived in. All of the staff is amazing from Bonnie the office manager, Christina, and maintenance. I honestly dont know how Bonnie is able to manage everything so well. She is so sweet and accommodating to me as I am a mom of two young babies. The neighbors are friendly and kind and I feel safe and happy living here. Its truly a little community. A lot of people stay here for awhile because they like it. The newly renovated apartments are BEAUTIFUL! I love the Amazon lockers for my packages, so convenient. I am also so conveniently located to a lot of great places. Grocery stores, restaurants, highways. I will be so sad when I have to leave here.

Let me start by saying that I typically dont post reviews or surveys, but I feel that the professionalism on display at Park at Walkers Ranch deserves to be recognized. The staff made me feel right at home from the day I first viewed the apartment, and continue to make this community feel like a true home. It starts at the top with the manager, Bonnie Crabtree, a warm, knowledgeable and very approachable person who seems to go above and beyond what the typical apartment managers have done in my past experiences. Another true positive is the maintenance staff- Ive never been more pleased with prompt turn around time with my maintenance requests, which have been really nothing major. All in all a very nice place to live. I would highly recommend this apartment community.

I’ve lived here for almost two years, and this is definitely the best complex I’ve ever been in. Maintenance team is ridiculously kind and friendly, neighbors are welcoming and sweet. No complex is perfect, and I’ve had a couple hiccups during my stay, but the staff seemed to genuinely care and solved my issues in a timely manor.Bonnie is without a doubt the best property manager a complex could ask for.She’s the kind of person that gets things done and looks out for the residents. She takes a personal interest in any issues and immediately resolves them. When I had an issue with an upstairs neighbor she took steps to fix it, then went above and beyond by giving me her personal cell to call if I needed anything (even after hours). As someone who’s lived in many apartments, this is definitely the only one I’d recommend to someone searching.

Excellent place to live. Bonnie and Christina in the management office are both awesome. I had to move out during the constantly changing times of COVID and they were very understanding of date changes, very military friendly. Henry and the maintenance team are responsive and personable. The community is nice, well shaded by trees, two well kept pools and pretty quiet. They are frequently upgrading amenities and homes. The moving out and inspection process was very fair. The apartments are older and may be a little smaller than some of the newer complexes but its made up for by a strong sense of community. Conveniently located to HEB, schools, drug store, restaurants and more.

My husband I have been living here at the apartments for 6+ years. We love the community and how Bonnie really takes care of the grounds, the amenities. She is always making sure that the property is clean and in tip top shape. She and Christine are very helpful and friendly and the maintenance guys, Vernest, Gilbert, and Carlos, are ALL kind, funny and hard workers! The pool is always in pristine shape....and that is important for us as well love to be at the pool! Bonnie goes out of her way to create an atmosphere of family and when you send in a maintenance request it is taken care of ASAP! My husband and I ran a resort on the beach in Hollywood, FL so we know how much goes into taking care of a property and the tenants, it is quiet challenging, but Bonnie and all of her staff are always on top of everything, and always friendly. They seriously handle everything that comes as them with a smile and make it look effortless! When in fact it can be incredibly stressful! The Knightvest Corp has found the greatest gem in Bonnie and all her staff, as they all work very well together. Last but not least there is Eric and Ashley, the apartment community fun couple! They create all kinds of fun events and engage the community in lots of get togethers. It had all stopped due to COVID, but thank G-d they are back in action and fun times are here to be had by all! My final thoughts to those who read reviews...there are always going to be disgruntled people for some reason or other and thats okay, but just know, there are a lot of us who have been in here for years and WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY! Thanks to Bonnie, Christine, Vernest, Gilbert, Carlos, Eric and Ashley...there are two other gentlemen, I just dont remember their names as they are new...but they are all the best! Give them a chance to show you how apartment living should be done!!! Thank you so much Bonnie and Staff for all you do!!!

I was hesitant at first when I saw the reviews for this apartment complex. However, knowing that people only do a review because theyre upset for insignificant stuff, I gave them a chance. I took a tour, and after visiting several places for over a month, I decided to make Charleston my new home. Over the time that Ive been at Charlestons, Ive only had one complaint, and they addressed it promptly. I love the renovations theyve made to the complex: extended gym, new pool features, and a beautiful hangout area near the main pool. What I like best about this complex is the quietness and the ability to walk around without a problem. My packages can be delivered without worry since we now have a smart locker.

I had to relocate to TX from FL for my job. All of this happened during Covid. I was amazed by how professional and personable Bonnie the property manager was! I was stressed but she made everything seamless for me from my first inquiry about the property till my move in day. I signed my lease sight unseen 🙈 She did a virtual tour of the entire property with me to make me feel better. I personally havent had any issues, I pray it stays that way! Where to start...well lets say Bonnie Crabtree is the answer to that. As a resident here for going on my fourth year...I am confident to say the onsite team of managment and service techs have become like family. They do what they say and as Ive told Bonnie...they renlentlessly do even more without being asked. Customer service is something Bonnie doesnt take lightly and even more so were not just customers that come and go in a day...we are resdients that are here full time. To have a team on property that arent just good on one day...but everyday gives me the comfort of considering this property my home, a lifestyle and not just a unit I rent. The Managment does a great job of holding residents accountable for the better good of where we all call home. And most residents here choose this property because those ideals are consistent here. Thank you Bonnie for your your hard work to ensure great home for my son and I to reside!

Lived here for ~11 months. These were by far the best apartments Ive ever lived in. The maintenance guys are great, the office staff is super cordial, the apartment complex is always well maintained and monitored by a security service, I have 3 vehicles, none of which were ever tampered with. They do a great job with upkeep without imposing a bunch of stupid rules like other complexes, which goes back to the residents respecting this place. Cant say enough good things about this place...

Excellent place to call home. I have lived here for 7+ years and have no reason or desire to move. The management team led by Bonnie Crabtree are excellent at responding to any problems that arise, and the maintenance staff is the best of any place I have ever lived. They are friendly, efficient, and quick to respond to requests for maintenance. Its an older complex but has been recently painted and renovated, inside and out and the property is lovely. The location is the best, easily available to Hwy 281, 1604, and 410. All in all, a great place to call home!

Charleston Apartments has been a breath of fresh air. This community has a manager that is involved in the inside as well the outside with her residents. Bonnie has gone above and beyond for my family. With making sure our move in went smoothly to simple check ups. She always held community events but due to covid they been keeping it limited but still find a way to keep us residents engaged. They did a school supply drive and my daughters missed it and the next day she knocked and left goody bags for my kids at the door. What manager goes out of her way to make sure her residents aren’t without!! Maintanence has been great and always comes in with booties and a mask. These apartments are kept up and clean! My favorite is the valet trash, I hate having to go to the dumpsters. Neighbors have all been pretty friendly. I would recommend this place and plan on staying for a while. Close to schools, shopping and highways!

Came to this apartment complex on a whim and it was a great decision. All apartments are either updated or in the process, several have direct access garages, neighbors a decent people who seem to settle in here and the Mai fence staff is amazing. They even have a husband and wife team who plan events and give little gifts for the holidays. Apartment life like a home with super close neighbors. Just wish they had more grass space or playground for my kid to play.

I did my homework when looking for an apartment before deciding on The Park at Walkers Ranch. The location, size and layout of the units, amenities, staff, and price are by far the best value for any of the apartment complexes in this area. I recently renewed my lease because Ive been so happy with it. The complex is well maintained and overall pretty quiet. The staff have been extremely kind and responsive. I get monthly e-mails regarding the property and they often have special events for the residents. This summer they gave out beautiful flowers to the residents that wanted to spruce up their patios. This complex really does feel more like a home than just a building with a bunch of random people living in it.

I have lived in this community since 2015. I have never rented anywhere that had management staff that genuinely cares about the residents and the community as much as the staff here does. I was contemplating moving out at the end of my 2nd lease to try home ownership but the neighborhood is just too great. My daughter enjoys drawing with chalk and a friendly neighbor anonymously left her a big box of chalk. The maintenance staff goes above and beyond on every service request and the office staff is the best and most friendly I have every encountered. Will be renewing my lease for a third time this year.

The Park At Walkers Ranch has 100% been the best apartment I’ve rented from. Where do I even begin. From day 1 Alison has been amazing in the office. She helped us get all settled in with approval and tours. My husband and I had to come at different tones due to our schedules at the time. She accommodated for both and answered every single question! Bonnie, the property manager has been absolutely amazing as well! We always get updated with news letters, emails, and other information when things are important! She trains ALL of her staff very very well! Anytime we call the office with questions I get an answered phone. I don’t have to keep calling over and over again. I had a major problem with that at my old apartment complex. The gates to are always working and the couple of times they have been broken they are fixed in a timely manner. I feel safe all the time. Noise is not an issue with with neighbors. In fact we’ve got some of the best neighbors around us. Lastly, I want to give a HUGE shoutout to our maintenance man! Vernest has been absolutely amazing!!!! We’ve put many maintenance requests in and he always comes in with a huge smile, ready to help with anything that is needed!! He somehow gets our requests all the time and he is the most kind hearted man I’ve met in a very long time. He’s courteous, kind, and just seems to be happy to help all the time! If there wasn’t a quick fix to the solution at the time he assured me he would take care of whatever was needed and has always followed through! I’m thankful for the entire Park team! We’ve renewed our lease for a second year and are incredibly happy to be staying!! Thank y’all so much for making our time here so pleasant!!!

Bonnie herself is always so active with caring for these units as I’f their her own, it could be 8am or even 5pm in the blistering heat she’s always engaged and that’s only me noticing from a distance. Every employee I’ve encountered clearly treats this place with love.

My husband an I have lived in this complex for over 3 years. The manager, Bonnie, is always friendly and ready to talk or help out. The same with Christina, assistant manager. Maintenance is always done in a timely manner also. Overall we have been happy to call this home.

Though I have lived here at The Charleston nearly twenty years, I can sincerely say that Ms. Bonnie Crabtree is the BEST manager in all those years. She brings a professionalism rarely seen in ANY industry. Whenever Ive had any concern either large or small she ensured that my concern was resolved completely and immediately. I would be remissed if I didnt mention the excellent service Christina, assistant manager, has demonstrated. She had recently been promoted to this position and has made it her own. Christina has been indispensable to this property and has shown her worth.

First, I am a resident here and have been for a couple years. I generally dont have an issue with the mail, earlier this week though I did, the package was delivered but I was unable to retrieve the item due to the system rebooting. I called the front office, spoke to a young lady by the name of Presley, I am sure I spelled the name wrong, she advised me of courses of action to take and after me explaining to her that I could not take off of work to retrieve the item, she said she would take care of it, and thats what she did. She retrieved the package for me, called me, and advised me. She took time out of her day to make sure that I was happy. I honestly appreciate it. Thank you.

I have now, been a resident of this community for 6 months and my first impression has been proven to be true. The community is very quiet, relatively safe, staff always willing to assist the resident, no matter how busy and maintenance is fast in response and competent and professional. The grounds are beautiful and pool sparkling clean. I really think the old reviews should be removed, because they are not current and do not represent a true assessment of this property that is now under a different staff.

Ive read the other reviews and I can empathize with their situations. I too had a rate increase but not nearly as much as $70. I live by the main pool but yes, the other pool on property was closed most of the summer. I have also seen people parking in the NO PARKING fire zones and have had issues with other vehicles being in my way when trying to pull out. Ive also had someone actually park in front of my garage.However, I understand the rate increase due to the changes they are making in the apartments and outside. I do feel they should consider tenant loyalty when making rate increases but what do you expect from money hungry corporations?The second pool on the property was closed almost all summer. To the complexs defense, they have had a large turnover in maintenance staff and have since hired temps to help out while they restaff. Yes, its been an inconvenience but its a pool, not something you cannot live without temporarily or long term. And theres another pool on the property which people didnt seem to have trouble finding. Oh and it too was closed for maintenance for about 2 weeks. They replaced the ceramic tiles and upgraded the pool furniture.I had an issue with noise from an upstairs tenant. It was due to their young child. Since the problem could not be resolved, I was relocated to an upstairs apartment with NO rate increase. Management WILL work with you but you have to be persistent. Yours is not the only problem they are dealing with.The parking IS a huge problem. People move in and use their garage as a storage unit. Due to the limited number of parking spaces on the property, this causes difficulties for your guests to find a spot to park. Fortunately for me, I use my garage as intended and have at least one spot for my guests - but for just one. If people would use their garage as intended, this would not be a problem. Management cannot do anything about it. What do you expect them to say to the tenant?!?! Lets be reasonable - people do as they please. For the woman who has the issue with the fire lane parking, do what I did ... call the after hours service and they will have it towed. Or you could call a towing company yourself ... wont cost you a dime.Texas sized roaches and centipedes ... they are a problem in the first floor apartments. They have an exterminator come once a month to the property. At no cost to you, just ask to be put on the list and problem solved. I was in a first floor apartment for about a year. After getting on the list each month, I didnt have a problem with creepy creatures.Yes, there have been a few break-ins and management does care otherwise they wouldnt send a notice to inform you of the incident and hint to you as to why it happened. Of all the complexes in the immediate area, we have the lowest crime rate AND our security officer lives on-site. Super nice dude!I feel we should get the same apartment upgrades as they are putting in the ready to be leased apartments (e.g., faux wood blinds, kitchen faucet, and door hardware) instead of corporate making the excuse that new tenants are paying more for the upgrades - not buying it. I did get to pick one upgrade at least - I went with the blinds. I also would like to see them upgrade the appliances and possibly put in over the stove microwaves to save on counter space.All in all, I couldnt find a reason to leave the complex so I just signed a new lease. Its quiet and everyone - management and tenants - is quite friendly. I hope this helps your decision of whether or not to lease here.

The staff at this community truly care about your living experience. I have not had any trouble getting ahold of them when I have concerns, and I love having an attached garage! The property is clean and the apartment is in great shape, especially considering its an older community.

If I want to title this, Id say what a PEACEFUL complex. Lovely and respectful neighbors. Nice pool and 24 gym. All management staff are awesome. Computer and printer for business usage is available. Delicious cupcakes with some coffee. Clean and neat but no playgrand for kids (I dont know if they built one recently.

Ignore the bad reviews. Look at the dates they are all old and Id assume under old management. I write this review because the management and service technicians are amazing. If you need help they got your back. Just the other day I was tuning late to get my packages when the office was about to close. I called and let them know my sons formula was there. They waited for me and helped me load my kids back in the car. They truly do take the time to ensure we all have a great experience here. Yes some times they get backed up but they do their best to work through it all and really provide exceptional service.
