    This apartment community is so clean, so quiet and the staff are always friendly going above and beyond. Maintenance request are done in a timely manner. Oh yeah and I can pay rent online I live the self service options they give us like parcel pending too! Honestly I never wanna move away! Jennifer THE PROPERTY MANAGER even takes people on tours Ive never seen that anywhere else! Over the last years this property has taken a turn for the better and I am lead to believe it is because of the awesome staff! I cannot wait to see what else will come! I almost forgot about the beautiful bayou it backs up to! 10/10 would recommend

    In my 70+ years, Ive lived in my own homes and in many apartment complexes. Hands down, this is the best complex in the 7 states and 14 cities Ive lived in, this is the friendliest and most efficient management and maintenance staff Ive ever encountered. Seleste Richards gave the tour and leased my apartment to me. She is outgoing, friendly, knowledgeable and works fast to care for all her residents. Our Maintenance Manager said it best, We dont just fix stuff. We want everyone to be happy here. We feel like were one big happy family. Everyone who works here acts like they live that motto. Im very happy and feel safe here.

    I can’t say enough good things about Captain’s Landing Apartments in Galveston! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The location is perfect – just a short distance from the beach, and close to all the restaurants and shops on the island. The vibe around here is so chill, and I love how everything is kept so clean and well-maintained.A huge shoutout to Seleste, the leasing agent! She’s super friendly and professional, and made the whole leasing process so easy. She took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their residents, but she totally does.The apartments themselves are amazing – spacious, updated, and so cozy. The layouts are really well thought out, and I love all the modern finishes. Plus, the views are fantastic! Every morning feels like a mini vacation. There’s also great amenities like the pool and gym that are always clean and easy to access.And, honestly, the maintenance team here is the best I’ve ever experienced! Whenever I’ve had any issues (which are super rare), they’re on top of it right away and always so polite and helpful. I feel like they really care about making sure everything runs smoothly.Overall, I’m so happy I found Captain’s Landing. It’s definitely a hidden gem in Galveston, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live.     Have been living here for a few weeks now and I will say I love it. It’s nice and quiet, the gym is well kept and 24/7, the pools are always clean and Seleste always answers my questions promptly. The maintenance also responds and fixes things fast. I love it here.

    I currently moved in and my overall experience has been very good. When I took my tour with Seleste, from the leasing office, she was very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns.     What a great experience. They turned my stormy situation into a rainbow. Jennifer and Matt went above and beyond to get me moved in ASAP. They communicated with me, stayed honest and ensured my family was taken care. The complex is beautiful. The apartment was perfect and it seemed as if we were the first to ever live in it. Answered all my questions in a timely manner. Just overall a great experience. Best I have had with an apartment complex.

    We had moved to Dickinson for two years they went up $150 on rent so we moved back to Captains Landing we are on the second floor and so happy to be back Mr Matt was a big help Ms Jill and Jennifer and the maintainer staff are awesome

    Man lexi is so amazing !!!! Shes the best of the best , her knowledge is second to none and her constant communication is a blessing compared to other complexs on the island , her personality is as big as her heart ! Ask for lexi when you go in

    Miss Jennifer & Lexi are Absolutely awesome ! Met with Miss Jennifer and Lexi They took the time to listen to my concerns about repairs that needed to be made to my Apartment . And because my computer is broke at home, Lexi took the time to download the app and walked me through the steps and help me secure a new 15 month lease . Also, thanks to Miss Ruth as well

    This has been one of the easiest moving experiences I’ve had. Coming from a horrible experience with a complex in San Antonio, This place has restored my faith in Apartment living. The unit was clean and felt like we were the first ones to ever move in, big shout out to Matt in the front office for being fast and attentive!

    Ive lived here for a year and just renewed my lease for another 14 months. Ive quite enjoyed living here. Its a very quiet complex. The staff have been nothing but helpful and friendly every time Ive needed to interact with them. I dont make use of the pool or anything as were so close to the beach, but Ive seem families out utilizing it when its hot outside. The laundry facilities arent anything special with the occasional busted machine, but everything seems to be fixed quickly enough and kept in decent order. Theyre not luxury apartments by any means, but its a quiet little complex with friendly enough neighbors who seem to leave each other alone. I havent had any problems at all. The only reason I rate it at a 4 is purely because its a bit dated and could use some updating, but they did replace all of the toilets and get valet trash within the last year as well. Solid 4.5 from me.

    I have rented twice at Captains Landing & Ms. Jennifer the manager has been amazingly helpful and supportive each time. Maintenance requests are attended to promptly & over the years numerous improvements & upgrades have been made to the complex. I definitely feel safe here & highly recommend.

    I have lived here for a little over a year. I will say the first few months were a bit rough, it took a long time getting work orders completed for us. But my concerns were addressed and the manager acknowledged the things I said in a professional manner. Soon the property was purchased by a new owner. We received brand new toilets and shower heads. They replastered the pools and bought new pool furniture. Most recently all the laundry rooms were updated; including new washers and dryers. Lighting was all upgraded to new LED lights. I think many people leaving these reviews forget what it’s like to live in an apartment community. There are many downfalls but it does require you to communicate things to the office in a mature manner also. I see a lot of reviews about pests, as a reminder- you do have to request pest control through the office to come each week. They don’t come automatically. Overall, I can say- for what you pay you are getting an older but renovated apartment with a caring and kind manager. Especially with the new owner- they are working hard to have a nice community. Despite residents trashing the new amenities. Thanks for listening to my review. I hope it was helpful.

    Wow! Jeanne was amazing! She helped us through the process of finding our home. She gave us advice and told exactly what we needed to do. We had problems moving in but she took care of swiftly and we were able to move forward quickly! She is awesome! Thank you Jeanne! I know I am gonna love living here.

    Great complex!👍Love the big patio that has a gate you can walk right out and barbecue, fish or whatever. I cant say enough about Matt and Jill that work in the office. They go above and beyond of what theyre required and expected to do. Thank yall! 👍🇺🇸

    Captains Landing is a very comfortable apartment community.My experiences with both the office and maintenance staff have been very pleasant.They respond quickly and appropriately to any requests.They are also a pet friendly community. 🐾🐕And the location is top notch.I would definitely recommend this apartment community to others.

    These properties are very nice. It’s safe . Living conditions here are acceptable. It’s much better to live here on the island than elsewhere. The commute to another city is worth it. I lived in Houston Tx, Los Angeles ca and Galveston is the most desirable place. Other apartment complexes are asking for more money for the same basic amenities. Every apartment community has it’s quirks . This apartment community is safe to be in. The crime rate here is very low. Safety is first. Even when the gates are broken, it’s still pretty good.

    I came to Galveston for a few days in February 2020 and decided not to leave. Im so lucky I wound up here - Jeanne Clemons has been extremely helpful right from day 1, when I was hoping to move in the same day, and always helps with any issue I have had - above and beyond in most cases. Like any apartment complex Ive ever lived, maintenance is a little hit or miss, but the responsiveness is better than most places Ive lived. Additionally, this part of the island doesnt flood, and during the winter storm in February 2021, we only lost power for about 8 hours and water for about 24 hours, when much of the island was without power or water for several days. Reasonable pet policy, walking distance to Walmart and the beach, affordable rent - I lucked into one of the best apartment complexes on the island (I cant see THE best since I havent lived anywhere else here, so I have nothing local to compare to). I plan to live here for the foreseeable future.

    We searched several apartment complexes in Galveston and chose Captains Landing--and were glad we did. The apartment is beautiful and has plenty of space. It is quiet and clean here, and only a half mile from the beach! The neighbors are friendly. John in maintenance takes a lot of pride in his work, and the staff have been available to talk with.

    I lived at Captain’s Landing for 1.5 years, and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It is nice and quiet and the location is prime (very close to 61st/Stewart). Randall’s & Walmart are within walking range.Jason and the management team were great! Maintenance requests were taken care of very quickly.They even have a nice pool and convenient fitness room right on the property. I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking to move to Galveston Island.

    Captains Landing gave us a home for two years despite a fraudulent mark on my credit renters history report. While some of the critical reviews have a point, they didnt give us a hard time on leaving unlike all my previous apartments. My biggest complaint was the rent increasing so much in the small time we were there, beyond that, the apartment was nice and had a great view out back. No crime. Quiet.

    Here I am looking to move across country with little to no idea of where I’m going to go, and here’s what I come across! Within just a few days I was approved and ready to go. With all the help from Jeanne! She was totally amazing answering all of my questions and working on the best situation for me possible! Made it so easy for me to get approved and get the ball rolling. Soo excited to move in here in 2 weeks if that means I have people in the office like Jeanne!!

    Can I really only give this place a 5 out of 5 once?!2nd of 2 reviews:I just had an issue with a rent payment not going through which lead to late fees, but the Captains Landing Apartments team was very understanding regarding the matter.     We move here a year ago. We called to see an apartment. We had an appointment the next day with Ms Jeanie she was so sweet made us feel so welcome showed us an apartment. We loved it did paper work and had to wait the we received the call and were able to move in. We feel like Ms Jeanie is family so nice to us and we love visiting at the office. Our grand daughter goes and visit Ms Jeanie and now with the covid we miss visiting but we wave at her when we see her talk on the phone sometimes. We loved it so much we re newer our lease before it was up in May so we’re here till May 2021. We love the office staff and maintain everything staff. When ever we have an issuer we call they’re right on it to resolve our issue there have been time they’ve fixed something and we didn’t even realize they had been in the apartment. Everyone here is friendly and respectful to each other. We had a dog and the complex supply doggie bags which is nice. A couple of weeks ago our dog had 5 seiners and he didn’t make it and I called the office to let them know very supportive to us. We love it here the pool and gym but with the covid they’re close but we have a lot of beautiful paths to go walking on so that helps pass the time. They just got finish painting the brick and building looks beautiful. The crew doing are all very polite also great job. We love our patio very relaxing place to hang out

    The management was really helpful and professional when it came to helping me sign a new lease during the COVID pandemic. I was offered virtual visits, they sent me my lease, how to get set up with utilities, and answered all my questions I had when I called. Jeanne and Matt were the ones who helped me find my new home!!

    So far, we love this place! The only complaint we have is that the maintenance men dont paint cleanly. Big woop, we can easily fix it. Door are sturdy and seal well. Sound doesnt bleed through the walls. We can sometimes heat the kid upstairs running around, but it isnt enough to be angry about. We are right here by the water, we have a patio, there is always plenty of parking. It truly feels like home.

    I love living at Captains Landing in Galveston Texas. I can walk to the ocean in a few minutes. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Walmart is just a couple of minutes away. Everyone who works at Captains Landing is very helpful and friendly. Matt Pigg has been especially helpful with answering any question that I have. Roy who works in Maintenance seems to take pride in his work. When Roy had to replace a part my commode tank, he even dried up the water that dripped on the floor.
