I am moving from out of State into my apartment at the end of the month and Brad Torres has been extremely helpful from day 1!!! I toured the property back in Nov and again in Jan and Brad knew exactly what I was looking for! He has so much patience as I have called and emailed him with so many questions and he never once wavered or gave me any type of attitude! He is a true professional and answered every single question!! Although I haven’t moved in yet, this is a review to share my customer service experience. If I could give 100 Stars for top notch customer service, it would go to Brad for sure!!!

This review is about a specific individual that has been vital to my new move and getting the new apartment up to par. Brad in the front office has made this move as seamless as possible. There were a couple of things that needed fixing and he helped me with maintenance to ensure those fixes were completed properly so I can now enjoy my home in comfort & peace

We have been living in Brooks on Preston for over six months and are happy about this choice. The area is clean; they mow the lawn and call pest control every Wednesday. If anything breaks in an apt, we can create a task in an app, and the next day, maintenance guys will come and fix everything, so you dont even need to call anyone. We love it.

I have stayed in brooks for 2 years and I can honestly say it’s a great experience. The apartment is nicely maintained. The management and staff are also very reliable and friendly.Hands down one of the best community to ask for. Repairs are done almost immediately and staff is extremity proactive in responding to requests.Walmart and grocery stores are close by, an in-house gym and walkable distance to lifetime gym, dental clinics are close by.Few pics for reference.

My safety is my #1 Priority! As a tenant w/CWS, I’ve experienced some highs and lows. I must say my highs outweighs my lows. With several management changes have occurred, Ashley, Allison, Atzirri are Amazing! Although, Ashley recently departed, she passed her torch to two of the most sweetest yet professional managers I know. It’s not just a job for them, they care about the people and the property.There will be nuisances here and there anywhere you go but this team engages and conquers through!

I moved into this community in March of this year, and have found it tranquil, convenient (location wise and in terms of the apartment layout with an attached garage) and friendly. The folks at the office have been very nice and helpful. Brad helped my girlfriend and I throughout the application/move in process. He was super patient and responsive. Wilson from their maintenance team was welcoming and super helpful, he even helped me load multiple heavy packages into my car, which was not his job.

Came by looking for a new home. I met with Brad who toured me around and I had an awesome experience! He was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. It is very peaceful community to live. Maintenance team is always on-site available. Management listens to the residents reviews and concerns and addresses the issues. No bed bugs and cockroach. I recommend this community to live. During move out I can say u have to be cautious and i also agree to some of things at management point of view. couple of items like Kitchen counter top is a plywood finish it needs to be Granite instead wood. Which eventually solves lot of maintenance. Like some of them items needs to be renovate by the Management ex counter tops and bathroom accessories. As I said it is very quite community closer to lot of neighborhoods great schools, easy access to main roads and safety.

Nice apartments in a very convenient area. Friendly little community with added amenities (pool, gym, etc.) From the move-in process to random everyday questions, Atziri up in the front office has been absolutely amazing. Shes the go-to for any questions or help whether looking to move in, or already here and need some assistance.

Office staff is the most understanding leasing office i have ever worked with. They addressed my concerns with great communication and they made my move in process incredibly easy. The property itself is very clean and the resident events are so much fun! Definitely worth it. Amenities are great and the Monthly fees are a very reasonable price. Other properties in the area have much higher prices/monthly fees. They are very reasonable and in a great area. Definitely recommend.

We are currently living in Brooks on Preston for almost 2 years and are pretty satisfied with everything! Clean and quiet territory, responsive management. Maintenance team is always very helpful in case you have any requests. Location of this apartment complex is awesome - it’s close to Legacy West, Stonebrier mall, and many others. We enjoy our living here!

Great place to live if looking for a quiet, gated community close to a great selection of stores. The staff are always there to help especially Atziri in the front office!! She takes care of mostly everything needed on-time and is always there to help. I am a current resident and feel completely comfortable.

I am living 2nd year now in Brooks on Preston, this is very good residential apartment society in Plano, Texas on Preston Road. Leasing office staff is very good and prompt responsive. The society is maintained clean and they take care of each and every issues raised with them. Here motivational programs for children like fall festival, Halloween, Christmas celebrated very well. The schools are having good ratings and groceries/mart are nearest to society.

Ive lived here for 10 years, and dont see myself leaving anytime soon. Maintenance gets my service requests done within 24 hours, the office calls me the day after they do work to make sure everything is fixed to my satisfaction. They call when its time to renew my lease and check in on me. And Im so excited Ashley is back as the new manager!!

I not to long ago moved into Brooks on Preston. I’ve been so busy with work I kept forgetting things that I had to turn into the office that they needed from me to move in, as far as my paper work, but I will say they have been so nice and patient with me. Every time I send an email, they respond to me so quickly, which I truly appreciate. Ive lived in places where I have ask questions about things, and no one ever respond to my email. I Love my apartment, I dont have loud Neighbors its pretty quiet. Everyone in the office have treated me very nice. Seriously, Im not saying this because Ilive here, Ive lived in a lot of places. And I can say, by far this is the nieces place Ive lived in. One main thing that I love, when they told me my price for rent it is exactly what they said, not different prices every month. Which I have experienced. I can truly stay in my budget With them because I know what my bill will be every month. if you are looking for a place to live with a very nice community. and pleasant staff this is your place .

I have lived at Brooks on Preston now for 6 months. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. The people at the front are so kind, helpful and go out of their way to make it easy for me to get what I need. The property manager is amazing, he excels at communication and keeps us updated any time there is the slightest issue. Maintenance is amazing! You report a problem, they come and fix it immediately, within 1-2 days typically. They are so responsive. The property is well maintained and everyone has a sense of pride in the community. The residents are friendly, lots of families here, and we see each other outside walking or playing or riding bikes. I love the community spirit here and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I had an AC issue in my apatment but the way the maintenance handled it was incredible. The maintenance Director George Fabrizio drove down specially after hours to check my AC. The next day as promised he installed the new AC for my unit. These people are great and would highly recommend this apartment complex

My roommate and I just renewed our 3rd lease with The Brooks on Preston and we couldn’t ask for a better place to live!! The whole staff is super friendly and helpful and we have never had any problems. They really seem to value their residents. For instance May was national pet month, so they waived the entire $400 pet fee that I would have had to pay to have my new dog move in!! A few weeks ago I was heading out for work, and they had Chick-fil-A workers passing out chicken biscuits on your way out of the gate! I just really appreciate the little things that they do for us residents. I would say one of the best parts of living here though is how safe I feel. It’s a gated community and lots of families around. The parking is super convenient—there are also tons of open spots nearby for guests, and the option to pay for covered parking which I have been so grateful to have with all of the bad weather. For only $20/month—definitely worth it. Also another huge factor is that our rent has not gone up either of the last 2 years. That really sealed our decision to renew both times. For the location, price, and people, I highly recommend The Brooks on Preston!!

Brooks on Preston is awesome. Starting my third year here. The facilities are gorgeous and extremely well maintained. The maintenance staff is professional, courteous, very competent, and FAST.The management staff is incredible; Allison and Kaitlyn are superb and always resolve any issues or questions I have with enthusiasm and professionalism.And, of course, my apartment is wonderful and convenient to everything. I expect to live here for many more years.

We have lived here for two months, and so far have had a great experience. We moved from out of state and were unable to come tour the apartment before moving here. Kaitlin was so helpful in the entire process.We have enjoyed using their workout center and business center, there are cute bunnies living on the grounds, my kids love the playground, and our neighbors are all very friendly. There seems to be good insulation, because we never hear our neighbors.When I go into the office to pickup a package they know who I am - it makes it feel more like home.I especially appreciate that the service requests are filled so quickly. The repair team they have here are all very respectful, efficient, and friendly.

Super impressed with the office staff and maintenance staff at this complex. Kaitlin was my initial contact with the complex when looking for an apartment. She had great knowledge of the property, providing several options and was able to get me in a great unit. Allison closed the deal with me and she was also very helpful and accommodating. They are very professional and responsive! We had issues with our water heater and the maintenance staff was there the next day to address the issue, the water heater was replaced and Kaitlin followed up to make sure our needs were met. The office staff does a great job of communicating routine inspections and following up on any requests. Location is great and the property is cute! Im happy!

I selected to live here cause it is 5 minutes from my work. I continue to live here because the office and maintenance staff are great. All appliances work, they resolve any issues I have the same day or next. The office staff is open to feedback and the maintenance staff are always friendly and courteous. They keep the residents informed of any maintenance upkeep or safety inspections. They recently changed all the outside lighting for buildings and parking lots and it makes the areas safer and more appealing to walk around at night. I would recommend this apartment complex, very close too everything; shopping, restaurants and major highways.

At other apartments I’ve lived at there have been issues with response times from the front office or from maintenance, but the staff here is really welcoming and accommodating! I have been very happy living here at Brooks on Preston. After much research, it was the best option for me. Centralized to many stores, restaurants, and corporations. Safe community surrounded by a safe surrounding neighborhoods. My service request are always answered within 24 hours and the front office staff has always been helpful and polite. The only con I can say is, many families with children, walking within the apartment complex and makes it difficult to drive through. Would I renew my lease, I would highly consider it!!

Lived here for 11 months and really enjoyed it. Decided to move out since I planned on rooming with a friend at a less expensive apartment complex. Also they did raise the rent a bit if I chose to renew my lease.Pros:- Great location thats close to everything- Staff are friendly and helpful- Maintenance requests were taken care of pretty quickly- Ton of available parking spots in the area that I was in- Very safe place with gated entry- Didnt have any issues with noise from my neighbors, although I was on the second floor so Im not sure how good the noise insulation is between the 1st and 2nd floor.- Decent gym- Didnt have any move out fees for cleaning and damages like some other reviewers did since I spent a good amount of time cleaning and restoring things before my move out.- Individual water heaters in each unit instead of central water heaters.Cons: No major issues, just some small issues in my opinion.- Personally I wasnt a fan of the large window in the bedroom since it lets in a lot of outside noise (like from Preston rd and the A/C units). Also its not good for temperature insulation.- Also wasnt a fan of the large sliding glass patio doors since its also not very good for temperature insulation and I found it quite difficult to lock the sliding door sometimes.- There are sometimes a lot of people walking and kids playing in the driveways and parking areas since there arent a lot of sidewalks.

8/4/23 Edited: Im glad the office has a new assistant manager, and manager I agree with the man below with 1 star- the old managers were awful and very arrogant! I was late by 12 hours on rent notified them via email I had been in the hospital- no compassion she still charged me the extra fee!- new ladies are so sweet!This is our first experience in an apartment complex, also as we moved from Houston.. prices are definitely “different” but worth it. Always very responsive and although there are some minor issues with the small children in parking lots unattended which I KNOW the management tries to do what they can with it.. BUT small details matter , they sent a bday card for my daughter today who turned 7, her only bday card for today and She was so exited to receive it thank you all, Brooks Plano for all y’all do!

Good community and excellent staff. Facilities and rates are better than surrounding communities. Easy access to both Preston rd and Ohio dr. Move out charges depend on your maintenance of apartment. A well maintained clean apartment will ensure no move out shocks. Overall satisfied with my 1 year stay.

We lived here for about 4 months with our kids while we had a new home built. And, our time here was excellent. We were very impressed by the way the way the complex itself was run. They are quick, efficient, knowledgable and kind. Maddy was the one we worked with the most, and she was amazing! So friendly, fun to talk to, and quick to help. The others were awesome too! The complex is older but well-kept. The trees are beautiful. They have a maintenance crew (super nice guys!) that are quick to show up and fix things when needed. Our apartment itself had been updated and looked great. Our boxer dog was with us, and we werent sure how she would do in an apartment complex, but she did great. They have a lot of grassy areas that we could take her on walks or let her potty at, equipped with doggy bags and waste bins for convenience. We loved the apartment location and how close it was to EVERYTHING. We felt like they were surprisingly fair with any charges when we moved out. Overall, they made the stay as stress-free as possible! It was a great place to stay while waiting for our new home to be built. Highly recommend it!

I probably looked at 30 different apartment complexes and visited half a dozen. I found Brooks on Preston offered a good combination of convenience and value. I really like having a fireplace and the landscaping of the complex. My leasing agent Kaitlyn spent time showing me the models and answering all of my questions. No hard sell, ever. Overall it was a very pleasant experience thanks to her. Now that Ive moved in and met several neighbors I feel happier about my decision. No half stars bu 4.5 on my scale (always room for improvement. )

Ive lived here for 2 years now, and Ive really enjoyed it! I got one of the first fully renovated apartments with all the beautiful finishes. The office staff is awesome. I always get greeted with a smile, and the Assistant Manager seems to know every single residents name! The maintenance team is great, always quick to get to our service requests completed. The only negative I would say is that the landscaping is a little gruesome, (though Im told that its the next big project.) I dont usually leave reviews, but out of curiosity I pulled theirs up and think most of these have been really unfair. Everyone knows people will go out of their way to leave bad reviews when theyre angry, but its rare that someone leaves reviews when they are happy. Behind each bad review, there are 20 residents with great things to say about this place. I definitely recommend and will be staying here a while!

Amazing place to stay in Plano area. Warm, nice, quiet and peaceful environment. Great to families with kids, with great schools and safe community. Warm and excellent management team and more like family. Maintenance team is wonderful, prompt, skillful and friendly. Apartment is located in a central area with easy access to major companies, restaurants, groceries, movies, shopping malls, shops at legacy, legacy west and other places as well. Located in the public transport route as well. Close access to hospital as well. Home away from home, the service and warmth cant get any better. This is the first property that I have ever lived at where the Management really cares about their residents.When covid-19 came they provided us with mask and toilet paper.When my 18 year old dog passed they sent me a card signed by the entire staff. The property is very beautiful and well taken of.We do not have with roaches. Maintenance request are handled in a timely manner. Lawn care is conducted weekly as well as trash service nighly by placing it in the can at the door.Every one here gets along, there is no drama loud music and its very family oriented.Before the passing of my dog we would take late night walks and I felt very safe.This will make my 2nd 18 month renewal and I feel blessed to be here. If given the opportunity I would proudly renew again!Management has taken all precautions to try and keep us all safe during this crazy time and I appreciate each of them.This is a wonderful place to call home.Thank you Brooks on Preston for all you do 🤗🙏🏾🖤🤝🏾

Recently moved to Brooks on Preston and would like to mention that Kaitlin (leasing agent) is nothing short of an angel....she helped me sooooo much, right from the very outset...my initial inquiries were promptly responded to in great detail, she guided me throughout the entire application process and happily answered any questions that I had, which personally meant a lot to me.Whats even better is, after Id moved into the apartment, she went out of her way to address any concerns that I had, followed up with me on a daily basis, to make sure everything was good - this is something which i have not experienced in other communities that Ive resided in over the last 10 years or so.Exceptionally caring individual, who I believe is a real asset to this community.As for the apartment itself, Im extremely happy and comfortable here.The decor is nice, the floorplan is very spacious and the location of Brooks on Preston, is perfect for commuting to my job with ease.Thank you for going out of your way to make sure that I am comfortable and enjoying my time here.Overall extremely happy and Im already recommending this community to my friends!Thanks again for everything!

How do you rate an apartment? It certainly wont be fair to compare a brand new community to an established one. Brooks on Preston is an established community. Its been around. Key to an established community is maintenance, staff support, and general upkeep. I have lived in the community for a few years now and I like it. The staff and maintenance crew are very responsive and friendly. Can you find a cheaper or newer apartment complex in this area? Surely you can, but I also like the convenience of location.

Brooks on Preston is undoubtedly a fantastic place to live. As a seasoned expat who has lived in 4 countries Brooks on Preston is definitely one of the best estates I have lived in. My leasing agent is extremely professional (Allison Leathers) & always replies to emails timeously. The few service requests I have had, have all been attended to within a day or two at max. Shout out to Nick Dyer for putting together a great team. I look forward many months ahead here!

I am moving in the next 6 months and have been looking at places on Preston. I had a great visit here and cant wait to visit again once I make my decision and sign papers! I have found the management of Brooks on Preston to be professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The landscaping and parking areas are maintained in a systematic and comprehensive manner. All maintenance issues have been handled in a timely manner by personnel who are knowledgeable and thorough.

The Brooks apartments are beautiful!! I moved in about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it here. It’s quiet.. which is a plus!!
