My husband and I loved living here! He was deployed for 8 months while I lived here by myself and I always felt safe. I did everything I would normally do at any other place I lived: went to work, came home, ran errands, tried to be inside before dark. Yes there were some sketchy people and locations in the area… the VA domiciliary is right up the road and there are a few homeless shelters close by so that comes with the territory. We also lost water a couple of times and the way we handled that was quite comical. Overall, as our first place together as newlyweds, it served us well. We only moved out because we bought a house.

I’ve lived at this location for several years now and have been through several property managers, corporations, owners and maintenance workers. This new company, Obsidian, has taken tremendous strides to repair the many years of neglect by the previous owners. Immediately upon taking ownership of this property, it was crawling with construction crews and contractors, who began the process of repairing roofs, structural damage, appliances etc. What we have now is a definite improvement over the company they purchased the property from.

I recently had an AC unit issue and Andrew came out and took care of my issue in less than 30 minutes. Thanks! You rock!I would also like to add positive feedback after reading all the negatives. I have lived here for about 4 years and the new company that has bought the property has been updating and making the place look even more inviting. I am in hopes the gates are next on the list. This is what sold me on this place to begin with! It is a quiet area, not a lot of traffic, and friendly neighbors!

All my maintenance requests are fulfilled in more than a reasonable time frame. I just called in an emergency request for my heater since it wasnt working and Andrew (one of the maintenance crew) was kind, respectful, and helpful during the repair. It was obvious he has the necessary experience and took care of the problem in less than 15 minutes. Even took care of another minor fix while here. 5 star service

I have lived here for nearly a year and absolutely love it! Rachel in the front office has always made us feel comfortable and welcome and has made our stay here wonderful! The apartment complex is quiet and gorgeous, neighbors are pleasant and you do not hear them through your walls! There are always some little events going on that make you feel at home and surrounded by fun and joy. We hope to stay for much longer :)

We have lived here 6 months and we have had only excellent experiences. The landscaping is always perfect and the community is very quiet. Always plenty of parking and the complex is well-lit. As far as our specific apartment our experiences have been first rate. For the very few maintenance requests we have made the very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient maintenance guys have responded within two hours (less really). You can always find a maintenance guy picking up a little litter in the mornings and they are quite friendly. We have had no pest issues but the pest control man does come around every few weeks with ample warning given in the form of a notice posted at our door. The apartment is quite pretty with ceramic countertops, crown molding in the living room, and nice plush carpet. The office staff is friendly and efficient. You can always find Anna and Amber easily and they are very responsive and polite. The complex is SECONDS from Baylor Scott and White and less than 5 minutes from most stores. We have seen nothing scary or alarming in any way. This gated community makes us feel secure. If you are looking for a quality place...come to The Bridge for your next apartment. Good stuff.(We are actual residents who usually never post reviews online...but we actively read reviews on everything and felt it is in order for this great complex!)

I’m moving in tomorrow, so far, the management is wonderful. I haven’t even met star yet, but talking to her on the phone, she is such a sweetheart, so helpful, and has worked with us on everything. I’ve lived at the bridge for almost 2 years. Its a pretty diverse community- young people, older people, and families all live here. It’s a good mix and it’s never loud or crazy which I like. It’s a safe, quiet atmosphere. I love how dog friendly the apartments are! You’ll see all shapes and sizes of doggos :) The office usually has treats for your furry friends. My dog gets super excited to go to the office for treats and belly rubs. He also loves to go to the dog park at the bridge. There’s plenty of grassy areas and walkways in the apartment as well as the trails behind the hospital.I love the community here and the staff is always very friendly/helpful. Maintenance requests are easy and taken care of in a timely manner. I haven’t had any issues living here. It’s been a great place to be :)

I have been searching for an apartment in the community for a few weeks and have seen several. These were by far my favorite! When I first pulled into gated community, The Bridge, I was in awe of the beautiful landscaping and cleanliness of the property grounds. Inside the office, I was helped by Julia, who was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I was shown the model apartment that I am looking to rent. Wow! The Bridge has beautiful, nice and updated apartments with plenty of space and storage. The gated community just feels safe and secure and comfortable to me and my family. Overall, I am so excited to soon call this place home and maybe meet some of the people in my community. I would most definitely recommend The Bridge to anyone who is looking for a great place to call home! Keep up the great work The Bridge Staff! (Tammy W.)

I lived at the Bridge apartments for a year and I have to say, Starr at the front- Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Shes 100% the reason I decided to sign with them. It was my first year living by myself and being 6 hours away from my family, she really made me feel at home. I do have to say though, they do have problems with raccoons in the ceilings- BUT I did bring it up to management and it took maybe 3 weeks - a month? but it did get resolved. (reason for 4 stars) Only reason why I left is because my boyfriend and I decided to rent a duplex. If not, I would have stayed. Thanks Starr for being awesome!

Me and my wife moved in to the Bridge as newlyweds and it was our first apartment. We didnt know much, but everyone in the office walked us through it all. We have now lived here for a while and can honestly say we dont plan on leaving anytime soon. Rachel and all the ladies in the office remember names, apt #, etc. Like the back of thier hand. Maintenance is prompt and you dont need it often since there are 0 problems! This place is SUPER pet friendly and our Pit/lab mix loves it here.The apartments are beautiful inside and out! I truly have no complaints

The bridge is the best place I have lived in years as far as apartments go. It is affordable, well kept up with new appliances, maintenance is always on call with a quick respond time. They accommodate you by picking up your trash for you so you dont have to leave your apartment. The staff is remarkably helpful and super nice. The best part is that it is super quiet and peaceful which makes it an awesome environment. I would recommend the bridge to anyone who is looking for a good place to live.

Out of all the apartments I have ever leased, The Bridge Apartments is by far the greatest place to live. The management is professional and very friendly. The grounds are kept up beautifully. Anytime there as been any sort of property issue they send out notices that are very detailed and keeps everyone up to date. I feel safe here. There are police at each end of the property. Its very quiet and peaceful. I recommend that everyone live here. If you decided to lease here ask got Rachel or Julie!! :)

Perfect apartment complex surrounded by beautiful landscaping and a peaceful creek running right through the middle. Located close to Temple College, next door to a fitness center, and new city waking trails. Pet friendly providing a fenced dog run.Management team is friendly and prompt as well as maintenance crew.This is a safe complex, grounds are always clean and manicured, and rent is very reasonable.I would recommend this place to anyone. If youre looking for a close community that feels like home, this is it!

Love it here!I moved to this area two months and the complex I was supposed to move into was a dump! I drove out to Temple to see The Bridge Apartments and I immediately fell in love. I moved in the next day! Since then I have really enjoyed it. Management ensures that they are well-maintained and are quick to respond. I would recommend living here!

I previously had a bad review here but am here to change. After about 4 years here we have gone through many managers. Come toFind out the complex and others where bought by another company. About 6 months in to the new company and management and they are turning this place around. Some others may not be happy but we haven’t had any issues in quite some time.

I moved recently to Texas. The apartment complex is peaceful and quiet. I really like the staff here, they are the best and help you out to their best. The apartment manager Erika and other members Amber and Anna are very friendly and helpful. They make the stay as good as possible and try to make the best to feel like home.Thank you.

I toured a lot of apartment complexes the past few weeks and the staff at The Bridge were by far the friendliest! The apartments are nicely remodeled with granite countertops and flooring. Definitely much more bang for your buck here compared to surrounding complexes. We are very much looking forward to living here.

I will not have a car for awhile, but the apartments are close enough for me to walk to work, the mall, the grocery store, and some restaurants! The staff are also very helpful.

Very responsive to maintenance requests. My only concern is about safety based on a recent letter. I will be keeping my eyes open. :) But again the office staff is great.

The Bridge Apartments! Fantastic community! A GATED COMMUNITY! It is quiet and peaceful here, even though we are in the city. The grounds are well kept, we have a dog park, and “pet poop stations all around the property. We have entertainment in watching the wildlife that frolic in the trees. The turtles and fish in the creek are fun to watch and we have falcons and great blue herons! We are within five minutes of the mall, Wal*Mart, H.E.B., Aldi’s, 7-Eleven, and the strip of Fast Food Restaurants on 31st Street. The Hospital is down the road, and Temple College is around the bend. Oh, and right next door is the Summit Fitness Center (discount perk!) AND we have two pools! The club house is available for parties and residents have computer access with printer, and free Wi-Fi too! We have trash valet as well as recyclable Thursdays. I love our maintenance men too, they are quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful!Every chance my pup gets, she drags me to the office to get a treat! She loves visiting with Ericka, Starr, and our favorite office manager Rachel. If you get Rae on a good day, she might even make popcorn! You can always make yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa while in the club house. I love when the community gets together for a community pizza & float night, the annual National Night Out, or a Holiday Dinner! During this Covid-19 pandemic, they have the occasional food truck stop in.As a gated community we are very private and very quiet…though just a hop, skip, and a jump away from all the action. You can walk to 31st street or jump on The HOP, we are between two stops that are within walking distance.Come meet Rachel, she is from New York and has the best accent! She is exactly what you want in an office manager: intelligent, witty, thorough, efficient, personable, fair, with common sense. She is a no-nonsense type of woman with a big heart.

This place has been my home for the past year and theres no better place for the price. Its quiet, everyone is friendly and its gated. The only drawback is that you pay for water and trash separately and they can flood your inbox with emails. Otherwise I enjoy this place and would recommend it to anyone.
