The management is very friendly and approachable. Before moving in to my apartment in this property, I didnt come in personally to see the property. I did everything online and the leasing Specialist Colleen and Agustin gave virtual tour of the property and made my move smoother. The property is very well maintained and clean. Great Neighborhood. The maintenance team is readily available to help you with the issues.

I love these apartments! I have lived here since September 2023 and Ive really enjoyed it. The managing staff is amazing, specially Agustin. He has assisted me with anything Ive needed and made me feel like family, always with a friendly smile and great attitude. Since the moment I toured the apartments to now he has been amazing help. The amenities are always clean and a great club house for any work from home or need a pick me up coffee. I am so sad now that I have to move closer to my job. Truly a great experience. 10/10.

Really nice apartments. Came by yesterday and the process has been so easy and convenient. Agustin was so helpful and responded quickly. Definitely making this moving process a lot easier. I called last minute and he was able to help and answer all my questions. Apartment tour was amazing, felt welcomed and Agustin made me feel like this was somewhere I want to call home.

I’m a current resident and recently renewed for another year. Here’s what you need to know:PROS:Responsive Management- Manager Augustin Chavez is the best! He is attentive and always provides solutions within a reasonable timeframe. He’s my go-to for everything!Fast Maintenance- Maintenance is quick and efficient. I’ve never had to wait more than 2-3 days for non emergency repairs.Quiet & clean community- Mostly. I’ve never had an issue with noise or litter though there are a few irresponsible pet parents who don’t always clean up.CONS:Amazon Discrimination- No joke, you will NEVER get your packages. I don’t know why but the Amazon delivery drivers refuse to deliver to resident doors. We have an Amazon Locker on the property and if it is full they WILL delay or cancel your delivery. The resident portal bulletin board is always filled with comments from neighbors looking for missing packages. I’ve reported this issue many times to AMZ customer service but there has been no permanent solution or further investigation.Predatory Towing- Birwood partners with a unethical tow service that preys on our GATED community. Each night between 12-3am they snatch up cars often damaging the vehicles. Be diligent in updating temporary parking passes or never invite overnight guests.Trash Scam- The “Valet Trash” service is awful. The company (a woman in a pick up with two children) does not come as scheduled and when they do come there are ridiculous restrictions as to what is considered trash. There are no recycling bins at all and glass is not allowed in the trash. If you enjoy Topo Chico, jam, pickles, beer or wine be prepared to walk your trash to the dumpsters every time AND still be charged for the monthly trash service fee.

I want to give a shout-out to the team at Birwood, specially to Colleen Sinclair. I moved here from out of state without seeing the apartment. Colleen was there for me every step of the way of the move in process and had an amazing attitude.Colleen provided me something that cannot be paid for, peace of mind.Once on site, I was amazed with the quality of the apartments, and the amenities. I love my unit and the pool. Also the club house is open 24/ 7 and at most complexes they close when the staff go home.I’m really excited to be living here. Thank you Birwood heights.

I love my unit its very spacious and modern! Staff in the leasing office is so helpful and kind. Concerns and complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and issues are resolved! The apartment has a beautiful pool and Club house! The exteriors of the apartments are trash free and are maintained daily. The apartment is located in a great part of town with a bunch of shopping and entertainment near by. We love Birwood Heights!!!

Ive lived at Birwood for 2years and it has been very pleasant. The times Ive interacted with the front office theyve always been helpful and nice. Jordyn is friendly and professional, and Augustin is a hard worker with a good attitude. Maintenance has also always been helpful and polite.The location is pretty convenient! I appreciate all of the landscaping and green space to walk around. Amenities are kinda meh, but I like the new coffee maker they added! I do HIGHLY recommend that management should install security cameras installed throughout the property. We did have one incident where I caught 2 men breaking into my boyfriends Jeep!

Excellent staff all around, great communication updates with things happening with the community. Belinda, Jordyn and Agustin make you feel like a friend and not just another resident. They care about customer service and satisfaction! Grounds are well kept and work order turn around is incredible, I’ve lived in several apartments and maintenance and office here by far have been the most attentive and fast. Also it’s a great location, has incredible views and I love the “hilltop” vibes Birwood gives. Check this place out! And thank you team!

Been living here for a month now. Absolutely love it. Maintenance is fast. The front office is always a great help. Neighbors are quiet and polite. It’s also very pet friendly not to mention the gorgeous pool. Definitely one of the best apartments I’ve lived at.

I lived there for 13 months in building 10. The front office manager (Jordyn) helped resolve a billing issue I had. The location is perfect and easy access to surrounding amenities. The property, itself, is quiet and didnt really have any excessive noise. The dog owners could be more courteous and pick up after themselves but that seems to be a problem at every apartment Ive lived in. Safe yourself a headache and let Jordyn help manage your move in and move out.

I have only been here for a few months and I have to say everyone in the office has been so helpful and always have a happy greeting. My apartment was perfect when I moved in. Every time I the maintenance outside they are doing an amazing job at keeping the property nice and clean. I would recommend these apartment 100%.

I recently moved from Austin, Texas to San Antonio, Texas. I instantly liked the clean and modern look of Birwood Heights Apartments. I received a tour from Jordyn and I was sold!! All of the management and staff are friendly, helpful and caring!! Everyone here is the sweetest. They welcomed me to this city and made me feel right at home. Moving here was the best decision ever!

Weve only been here a week, but were loving it already! There was an issue with the unit we originally signed for (totally out of the staffs control), and Jordyn really went the extra mile to accommodate us in a different unit that we totally love! The maintenance techs went out of their way to help us with a FedEx issue that we had, even before we moved in, and have been super quick to respond to our one tiny issue so far. Agustin also is super friendly and helpful! So happy that we chose Birwood Heights as our new home!

I lived here for over two years and had an excellent experience. My neighbors were extremely friendly, and the on-site dog park was a great place for my lab to run around. Management was always available and amicable if any issues ever arose. In particular, Jordyn (the Assistant Community Manager) was exceptionally helpful and responsive to any questions I had. I felt taken care of.

Staff is amazing!!!! Everyone walks around with a smile making everyone feel welcomed. Maintenance is fast always willing to go the extra mile to get the problem resolved and you cant forget the wonderful ladies working in the office keeping customer service as a priority and making Birwood Heights the wonderful place it is! Nothing but good things to say about Birwood Heights and the staff that runs it so well. Ive only been here for a few months, but I absolutely love it!! Belinda has been beyond amazing in her helpulness and resoursefulness. She has gone above and beyond for me. Her and her staff have been incredible. Maintenance is on top of any issues you may run into. You cant go wrong renting here. :-)

I have lived here almost a year, and absolutely love it! The complex is very well maintained and clean. Its peaceful and close to everything you could possibly need. My apartment is beautiful and has an open layout that feels so welcoming every time I come home! I got lucky with cool neighbors and have had no issues. Ive never had a package stolen when left at my door step and I appreciate the Amazon hub we have as well! I have felt very safe in this complex specially if I come home late. The one thing that I do have an issue with is parking! Eeeeek!!! If you come home after 8, forget it!I see comments about pet waste and broken gates, guess what that is on the pet owners/residents. The staff and maintenance crew can only do so much when pet owners are constantly not being responsible nor considerate enough to pick up their own pets waste. Almost every morning, I personally see a maintenance man picking up dog waste to keep the property clean. Or I see them constantly fixing the gate because another resident or VISITOR broke the gate. I live close to the gate and have witnessed moving trucks hitting the gate and or folks coming in through the exit when they shouldnt.Ive never had any major work orders, but the minor ones I did have were addressed same day and I received follow up calls to make sure issue was resolved to my satisfaction.Yes some of the amenities were closed or restricted for most of last year due to COVID, but management was just trying to stay compliant with city regulations. I appreciate them trying to keep us safe. 2020 just sucked all around for everybody, everywhere and I think management tried their best, so thank you! The pool and gym are now open, and they are always clean!I would highly recommend living here!! Hope this helps anybody looking for a new place to call home!

I have lived at a couple apartments in the San Antonio area, and Birwood Heights has been my favorite. The property and clubhouse/pool area are beautiful and well-kept, and the location is so close to Freetail and other restaurants. Management is attentive, and Jordyn is especially quick to respond to my requests and questions (also super nice!). The maintenance team is also helpful. I would recommend this property!

Let me say this first, I dont pick apartment places easy. I used Apartments Now to find this place as I had already been to 50+ other properties and was becoming discouraged. The move in specials here are ludicrous, most spaces havent even been lived in yet as its so new! Youd be crazy not to want it. As if that wasnt enough, Hailey, one of the ladies in the front office was very proffesional and did a great job showing us around the property and answering all my questions no matter how many I threw at her.Pros: beautiful kitchens, great gym, no speed bumps, lots of drains, nextdoor to a bar and italian joint, owner loves pets so lets hope a BIG dog park is built next to the windmill and lets hope they build a pet wash station so that we can keep the bathrooms super clean. (Hoping they read that last part) lol.Cons: right next to the highway so traffic is gonna be a problem sometimes, still doing construction but thats expected since its brand new, pool isnt very deep but nowadays most arent so they dont get sued for people being stupid and diving in.Looking forward to a great experience here. I will update after 1 year of staying here.
