For the most part, it’s pleasant to live here and appreciate the locked in rate for our second year. I do wish there wasn’t dog droppings everywhere and maintenance didn’t leave scraps over the back walk way and bags of wood by the stairwell for months. I do understand that the neighbors moved and trash service didn’t pick up what remained, but the complex hasn’t bothered to try and clean it either. It’s been two weeks.

As I walked in I was greeted by woman by the name of Leslie which was very kind not knowing she was the big boss in the office. Then she led me to Ava and Rene which were some of the best and most knowledgeable leasing agents anyone could ask for. They catered to me with snack and drinks before I was taken on a tour by Rene and was shadowed by Ava which is new to the industry but seems like she has been in it for years. This team is a very knowledgeable with strong and committed staff. They stay open till 6pm and since I got out of work after 5 they were still able to tour me so late in the day. I highly recommend The Avocet Apartments. Look forward to moving in soon.

Incredibly professional staff. I had the opportunity to meet the manager which is rare in most properties I have visited. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. The property in itself is so beautiful, spacious apartments. Im glad I came for a visit. The way the staff makes you feel at home is reason enough to apply here.

We have lived in Avocet since September. We love it. The staff & maintenance are extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking at other apartments, nothing will compare. The apartments are beautiful.

As many say, first impressions are very important. Avy was the only one I met on my first visit. That was after many attempts on my part to find the entrance! 😂 The office is welcoming as was Avy! I stated my request. She showed me to units. As of 01/20/2025 I’ve moved in. I’m loving it here. Renae helped facilitate my move also. After all Avy needed a lunch break. Thank you guys for all you guidance during this process.

Fantastic staff and maintenance team!! All professionals and extremely proficient and so helpful with my move in. After living in a house all of my life I was new to being a tenant in an apartment complex. The complex is beautiful and my apartment is perfect, spacious and modern. My leasing agent Matt was fantastic and he helped me beginning to end of my move in. This place is so me! So far so good. Highly recommend Avocet. UPDATE: However, Since the property manager Diane left last year this would be 2024 to present, honestly speaking from a Disabled Veteran it’s gone to hell! I slipped in my bath and my elbow took a hit and the ceramic soap dish was completely cracked. I put in two work orders and they were both canceled. Why??? I would have bought another one from Lowe’s just for maintenance to replace it. No response period. And I can’t use my kitchen sink nor dishwasher because the disposal canister is leaking from underneath it. No maintenance yesterday. This Avocet Community is definitely not the same.

Im giving 5 stars even though this place isnt perfect, but its a good mix of value and cost and I think the renter definitely wins here.Pros: Staff is positive and helpful regarding your questions, maintenance is relatively on time. Ive had concerns a couple times over the 3 years Ive lived here and never felt brushed off.The layout is beautiful of the apartment is beautifulThe location is centrally located.The gym is decently equipped, and there are a few amenities that I enjoy.Cons: The staff and property manager dont act the same. The property manager is AMAZING, but the staff seem less enthusiastic- not bad, but the inconsistency of when you bring an issue to the Property manager vs agent seems disproportionate.The gate seems to always have an issue, and they will fix it, then 2 weeks later theres another issue, and the cycle repeats itself.The office parties/celebrations are actually sales pitches from vendors in disguise. Come for a taco, and get a sales pitch from verizon with music playing in the background.

I am currently an tenant and I love this beautiful place. The apartment is spacious and beautifully designed. I love the island in the kitchen. The colors throughout the apartment are warm and invitin. I work from home and noise has not been a problem. It’s super cozy here and my girls and I are very happy. This has been our home for nearly 18 months and have been very happy. We have so much peace here. The amenities are extra nice y’all!!! Love the fireplaces at the pool, many nights we made s’mores. I can’t rave enough about the staff. They are all professional, positive, kind and compassionate. They are always willing to listen, understand and help.The technicians are quick to respond to a work order, they were always respectful and knowledgeable. The entire staff are just a blessing, Good people with big hearts.I’d like to point out Annalisa Padilla. She’s had been so good to us. An asset to Avocet, very compassionate, empathic and a problem solver. Super quick to resolve any of your concerns. I am grateful for her. She has made our transition during a difficult time much easier, truly an excellent young woman!! She’s great y’all!!The grounds are always clean and landscaped. The neighbors have been wonderful! I am renting an apartment without the balcony for added space and I am so happy with my place.

Avocet is blessed with the leadership of a fine young lady Dianne with her team of hotties in there, Norma the crazy, haven’t met the 🔥hispanic young lady across from her. Beautiful 💙 beautiful everything. Beautifully sitting on hilltop by itself, walk right down to Santikos, away from everything yet right where you need to be.Then you find out how human being really are. Rude is an understatement. These office ladies are doing a job they shouldn’t be. Saleh says we’re closed noone was asking, was saying hi. Yes. Pool party ok. Reality is. Trash is.

I will talk about my experience to start renting only because today is my fourth day in the residential complex. The rest of the events will be written in the coming days. I would like to thank Miss Inez Mata. On the good reception, wonderful morals, gentle dealings, and a wonderful real estate consultant. Until the last moment, I was changing the location of the apartment, and it was open to any event. It also helped me complete the rest of the rental matters, as well as other matters. I asked her about it and she said she was passionate about helping people. She was a very nice person. Now I have rented my own apartment.

I lived here for 2 years & I loved it!! This was my first experience living at an apartment & I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Very safe, family oriented community. When comparing apartments, this complex definitely had the most square footage for the price. I also enjoyed having an option to have a patio or extended living room ! What really caught my eye when touring was the kitchen ! I loved the black cabinets & beautiful backsplash! The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus! This complex will forever hold a special place in my heart !! :)

Beautiful apartments! Annalisa made our move in experience perfect. Also had a problem with a/c but the maintenance was so helpful and fast to resolve the issue even on his day off. We are extremely happy with these apartments and would highly recommend. Definitely worth the price for all the upgrades and spacious apartment.

The people who work here definitely put in a lot of effort to keep the place a safe and healthy environment. Its clear that they all work hard and do the most they can. Theyre incredibly nice and helpful to any and everybody. 10/10 would definitely recommend to any friends looking for a place to rent/stay :)! These apartments are fantastic. They have a neat interior design and are perfect size for any family. They arent cramped and are very spacious for your furniture or other things youd like to move into it. The rooms are nice and perfect size for nearly any bed, and its easy to keep cleaned and tidy.

I’ve lived here for 6 months and love it! PJ in maintenance is ALWAYS quick to address any issues, usually within an hour or two of submitting a maintenance request. A few bug when we moved it but haven’t had a problem since it was reported and pest control came out. Plenty of parking and the gate always works. Only complaint is people not cleaning up after their dogs but the property does what they can about that.

Every question/ concern I’ve had, they were quick to answer or fix it for me. Stacey gave us our tour, helped us with the leasing process, and still reaches out to check up on us to make sure we are doing okay and that we love our home. We are super glad we made the choice to come here.

Great place to live. The staff is awesome. They are very courteous and helpful, made me feel at home from day 1 (will miss them when I move). Only had one maintenance request (misaligned bolt lock) and it was remedied within 24 hours. Pool is always clean and great for lap swimming. The gym is clean as well and had everything I needed for a good work out. If I wasnt moving overseas I would be renewing my lease.

I’ve had a very pleasant experience with Amanda during my registration process. She’s very nice and helpful. I’ve looked all in the 151 area and Avocet has been so far the nicest apartments. Amanda gave me a tour of the model home of my choice and was a beautiful layout, she was very patient and helpful when came time to apply for the apt being that I had problems with my computer, very grateful for her patients with me.My kids came from Houston and I took them to the apartments and Cecilia was very nice to show the the apt the second time. Avocet Apartments exudes class and beauty from their staff to their property. We were happily received with great care and attention by our leasing agent Cecilia as well as every other staff member. We felt very welcomed not only by the community but also in viewing and becoming apart of our new apartment. The whole experience was amazing and we couldn’t ask for more. Everything from the picture perfect pool to the flourishing landscape to the mornings we wake up to a beautiful home. We recently moved here from California and these apartments made our life so much easier. Beautiful location. Tons of amenities!! The units are gorgeous on the inside as well. Stacey handled our application from start to finish. She is our absolute favorite and I would recommend asking for her for any of your future application needs. She will make you feel at home and welcomed and stress free during your moving process. Hands down Stacey is the best!!

We just moved here from another state with never visiting Texas and our realtor Karen Cannon helped with find the perfect apartment here in San Antonio! And let Let me just say. She nailed it! The customer care here at Avocet is AMAZING! We worked with Stacey Forester through this whole process and she made it very easy for us to feel comfortable, with answering any questions we had, with FaceTiming us to view our soon to be apartment, with everything! When arriving here she made us feel very welcomed! Our first impression of the apartments was wow, they were so beautiful, CLEAN, & super duper spacious and what we loved the most is that they are pet friendly! The maintenance guy Alex, was very friendly and welcoming! Coming from another state blind sided was a very scary jump but with the welcoming of all the people we’ve talked to, its been so much easier :) We 110% will recommend Avocet to anyone who is looking for an apartment in San Antonio!

Absolutely love living here, 3 months in ❤️ Apartments are new, modern and beautiful. They keep the the pool super clean, lawn is always well maintained, dog park, gym, and office clean, even offers a place where you can wash your car and vacuum it. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Maintenance is very intentive. They also have events for the residents quite frequently. Would definitely recommend, worth the price.

Where can I start!The experience I have had with this complex is beyond what I can ask for. Stacey Forester was our leasing agent and helped my family and I move in as fast as she could. We were in a bad situation where a mortgage lender messed up our paperwork and essentially left us scrambling to find a place to live with such little time to look. I really needed a miracle with all the stress and hassle and Stacey rescued us! She was really busy and still managed to squeeze me in. I saw the way she handled other possible renters and I was impressed by her professionalism and work ethic. Go Stacey!We got a 2 bedroom apartment and love the interior and amenities! There is lots of space for a family of three. We are extremely thankful! Thank you Stacey and Avocet! The apartment impressed many members of our family and they are glad we are being taken care of by a great complex .

Very pleased with living at Avocet. Vicinity to everything makes it ideal, but the customer service makes it great. Any time there were issues, maintenance supervisor-Alex, went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. He always made it a priority to take care of any/all issues no matter the time or the inconvenience. He truly made our stay here great-because he always exceeded our expectations and ALWAYS did it with a smile. He is the epitome of customer service!

Visited this property twice. First time I was greeted by Matt and Annalisa immediately. Both were very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. Great presence. Second time, Annalisa was the only one there and, again, greeted me as soon as I walked in. The very first person that I interacted with was Amanda and she was simply amazing she never got frustrated or agitated with the infinite questions I had prior to moving into the apartment and a whole different new city. Since I moved in the whole entire staff has been nothing but friendly, caring, attentive, and honest. When I got in a motor vehicle accident and had to figure out what would be happening to the vehicle, the staff was patient and understanding for well over a week! Not many apartments would’ve done that they would’ve wanted the vehicle removed immediately or would’ve just towed it, but they didn’t they did there best and gave me a time line.The promotions that were given prior to move in day were definitely not a scam to just get me to move in. The apartment was in good conditions on moving day! And the promotion overall was outstanding!Let me tell you: You don’t hear of many apartments ( unless they are in a college town or school apartments) that do monthly things for the people that live at apartment complex well they do....and it’s thoughtful, and overall a good time.They constantly have food trucks come out, they recently since I’ve been here have had 3 events: Chick Fil A breakfast, A Margarita Day, and a Pizza Party all have been great and the tenants have truly enjoyed that the staff has done such thingsStaff:100% there to help and make your stay while living at apartments enjoyableApartments: In great conditions and environment calm and friendly, family orientedHighly recommend!

Debbie was great from the moment I first walked in till the moment I decided to rent from them. She had such a great warm and welcoming face and was super pleasant and still is tomthis day and hope that it never stops. Anna was awesome!!!! I moved in and then to come to find out I had no hot water. Yes, we had some bumps in he way and was with no hot water for like 3 days, but everyday she made sure someone was out there and that I was okay and needless to say she made sure it got fixed. Anna was great!! Anna was very warning and caring and even after hours she made sure I was good! So the staff here is amazing! All apartments will have issues, but I am happy and they are beautiful apartment and I am happy with my place! Thank you all!! Happy the vibe does not change..

If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would. Deidra was more than helpful to me when I was applying. I had applied to the Avocet and had some troubles with the application, all my fault, I was waiting for an offer letter from my employer showing my income and Deidra and her supervisor were more than willing to help me. They called me with updates and I know I was being such a big headache but they were so helpful! The staff have been so helpful with any questions or concerns that I have had.I am so excited to live here. When I went to tour, I immediately fell in love with the complex. The apartments are beautiful! A great rate for the area, it is up and coming, I definitely recommend it!

Amazing apartments to live in! great amenities ! Recommend 100 % Very private secluded community that consists of upper class working individuals so no loud noises, no parties, very clean community, maintenance is very efficient (which youll rarely even need) staff is very friendly ASK FOR LIZETTE !! They always have deals going on so keep a look out for those! very spacious apartments, lots of storage space, marble counter-tops, wood floors, they have your apartment professionally cleaned before move in, overall great community and amazing location as well.

I love this place !!! Ive been here for a little over 3 months and I have to say I love living here.The apartments are beautiful and lizette is the best! Im sad she left she took really good care of us when we moved in. She really made sure the process was as easy as possible. They have cute things to do every month, food trucks, and were in a great location. The only thing I wish they would clean the doggy park more but that dont bother me to much cause I take my dog to an actual park but sometimes it does get a little to dirty.

Moved in here April 2018. Imo its better than the reviews claim. The new management that took over not long before I moved in must be better than whoever was here before because Ive always had a good experience dealing with them and my few issues have been handled promptly. Nicole in particular has been very friendly and helpful. I was wary about moving here because of all the bad reviews but I had to find something quick and I got a great move in special so I took a chance and it has paid off so far. No water pressure issues, gate was fixed within a day the one time it broke, friendly neighbors. I had a few spiders around when I first moved in but I diligently vacuumed them up and its all good now. My only complaints are against the people that dont pick up after their dogs and bring non residents to the pool. There needs to be wristbands for residents to use pool so that everyone and their mom isnt using the pool we pay for. Giving it 5 stars to bring the average up hopefully attract more good neighbors.

I have been at the Avocet at Alamo Ranch for a short time. I have to say, I was nervous about moving from a home to an apartment for various reasons. So far I have been 100% satisfied and the management here has made it very easy for me. Any questions that I have, they are prompt in responding. Any issues that I had, such as the adjustment of the water heater, it was taken care of within hours.I would highly recommend it to anyone just because of the management and office personnel.Regards,D. I moved to Avocet three weeks ago and this has to be the nicest group of employees I have ever met. My last complex was nice until you moved in. Based on my past experiences of changing personalities once I moved in, I expected a similar experience. Not the case at the Avocet! Lizette is the sweetest! She helped me with all of my questions, always followed up via email and phone, and always let me know what was happening. Once I moved in, I worked with both Amanda and Cecilia. They were just as sweet and helpful! Anytime I call ir walk into the office, regardless of who answers the phone or is sitting at a desk, everyone is so helpful and kind. I appreciate everything they’ve assisted me with since moving in and am so happy I chose to live here. A big thanks to Lizette, Amanda, and Cecilia!

Ive had a very pleasant experience with the new management here.There is no other apartments in this area that comes close to what you get here at this apartment complexThey have a beautiful workout Room....... a beautiful pool that will never disappoint.Im very shocked at the very low reviews that people put on here because theyre obviously mad with their own personal problems in ln life . I chose to live here over a house. Theres a beautiful movie theater next door and theres every kind of restaurant and shopping that you would want within walking distance. The new management has created a family environment with extra activities that they introduced during the week that I think is very excellent . If youre a professional person not looking to be a cheapskate then this is the place for you. If youre a dog lover they have a beautiful dog park that nobody else has and a lot of friendly people with dogs that live here. You cant go wrong living here.

Moved here 2 months ago , seriously the best move I’ve made .. the vibes are awesome here ! The office staff is amazing super positive and always smiling. The new staff is absolutely incredible, Diane is a great manager! She truly cares and accommodats all tenants as if they were part of her family. Cecilia helped out when there was a glitch on my account and got it expedited immediately. Lizette and Elizabeth are wonderful as well in making Avocet trully feel like home. She gave my clear directions, profess and polite. She answered all my questions without fail. Ive only been a resident for a short while but the experience has been excellent. The ladies in the front office (Amy, Anissa, Anna) are incredibly friendly and every time I have a question or concern they go out of their way to help me out. Rob, the maintenance guy, took the time to call me to discuss a recent maintenance request I reported. There have been a few hiccups with billing but again the staff was quick to remedy it. The pool, gym, and other facilities are excellent and the complex is close proximity to several restaurants and the Casa Blanca theater. I would definitely recommend Avocet if youre looking for a place to live.

First and foremost, if you are looking for a great place to live in San Antonio – look no further than Avocet Apartments! The property itself is beautiful and has tons of amenities (car wash, dog park, green space, pool, BBQ grills, and more). The units are very modern and feature high-end appliances and décor and are even pre-wired for wall mounted televisions. Not one detail was left out in the design of Avocet Apartments. The location of the property is PERFECT for anyone that wants to be close to work, entertainment, shopping, and restaurants. Even with ALL of that being said, I left out the main reason I decided to call Avocet my home. That reason is the staff. The moment I walked in for my very first tour, Amy greeted me with a smiling face and had the most welcoming approach I’ve ever encountered with any organization. She took the time to walk me through the entire property, and by the end of the tour I felt like I was being guided by a friend, and not some pushy leasing agent looking to get another resident. I truly felt that Amy had my best interest at heart. Fast forward a few weeks as we got closer to my move in date, and I’ve gotten to know all of the great staff members at Avocet. Anissa, Analissa, Debbie, and Amy are all truly amazing people that treat every person that walks in their doors as a member of their family. I’ve never felt so welcome anywhere else. They build relationships, not business transactions, and that’s very important to me and anyone who values a great customer experience. While I never knew any of them personally before coming to Avocet, I feel like I’ve known them all for years. I want to thank them, the property owner, and Greystar for the absolutely incredible experience. Anyone that asks me about a place to live, I bring them directly to Avocet for a tour and know that they will love the community and staff as much as I did.
