    I recently toured this property, and itā€™s modern, clean, and well-maintained. It seems to attract great residents and has a great community. Jossey was incredibly helpfulā€”she took a lot of time to answer all my questions thoroughly, show me around the entire property, and do everything she could to help me find what I was looking for.     I just want to say the staff here is amazing! Walking in you are greeted with smiles and welcoming people like Jossey, Rae and Marissa . Jossey was very patient and thorough with all my questions during our tour. I love how she was able to break everything down for me and take my preferences into consideration. She speaks so highly of their maintenance team. Although the property itself speaks for the team, it is very well kept in the hallways and in the units. Honestly best touring experience so far in my tour journey :) !!

    I come to deliver at Avenue Grove very often and I must say I love the energy as soon as I come in. It smells amazing and Jossey is always very helpful.     Love this community!! Right next to the park and restaurants, this apartment complex is perfect for me and I always feel safe! All of the staff is super helpful and kind, especially Daniel!! He got me into the perfect apartment and has continued to be a valuable resource here at Avenue Grove for whenever I have questions or need assistance. He is always sure to greet you with a big smile and willingness to help whenever you visit the front office!     I moved to Avenue Grove about a month ago and Ive been nothing but pleased with my apartment and management- especially Daniel!! Hes helped me so much during the leasing process and beyond! I had to change my move date a week before scheduled and he helped get everything squared away.Overall the community is safe, gorgeous and living near Levy park is 10/10. Cant recommend this complex enough.

    Daniel Jamison, gave me the most amazing experience by just covering a person for 2 days.     Daniel Jamison is AMAZING! He has been so helpful from the start of my apartment search, to signing my lease, to move in, and now throughout my renewal!     I have lived here for a year and just signed the lease for another. The area is conveniently close to anywhere you need to be. Restaurants and park is walking distance.     I did a tour with Jossey and it was fantastic! From the minute I walked in she was professional and friendly. I started looking for an apartment for my little brother when he moved down here next year. Out of 6 apartments I have toured, this one is my number one.     I came back to my apartment to find my power not working, so I called the Avenue Grove number to inquire about it. I was rudely told that they didnā€™t have any energy provider hooked up to my account. So I then called Gexa, the energy provider that Avenue Grove highly recommended, only to find that they closed my account three months earlier ā€œdue to a move.ā€ I didnā€™t move or close my account. Gexa then charged me a $150 same-day power restoration fee. Gexa then referred me to CenterPoint to challenge this fee. Had I received any kind of notice from Avenue Grove, I couldā€™ve avoided all the hassle.Side note - the door of the dog park frequently doesnā€™t work at night. Fix it before some girl gets hurt having to walk all the way around the dumpsters and or building in the middle of the night.Edit: Hindsight 20/20, this was a pretty cool place to live. Gorgeous apartments that I repeatedly got compliments on, fun/beautiful park downstairs full of pets and families, great restaurants and shops steps away (Hearsay, Kiranā€™s, Money Cat, Slow Pokes Coffee, Kirby IceHouse, Gaspachoā€™s, Alchemiaā€™s Boutique to name a few), and a responsive staff. Would recommend. Watch out for the dog park - Iā€™ve seen a couple dog fights out there.

The property has changed hands a couple of times and that caused some disjointed communication but overall has led to improvements.     I spent forever trying to find a good place to live in Houston, and I think Avenue Grove is truly one of the best! The safety here is truly top-of-the-line and I feel I made the right choice signing here. All the staff is great, but Jossey has truly gone above and beyond for us! She answered every question we had on the tour, didnt rush us at all, and gave us her undivided attention. She has been honest and upfront, which is rare for complexes in Houston. I recommend Avenue Grove to anyone apartment hunting in Houston!

    We absolutely loved touring Avenue Grove! I have been concerned for safety for my daughter and I think she will not only be safe, but find a true community here. We toured on a Saturday and lots of people were out walking dogs, running in the park, etc. Jossey was such a relief after some of the other complex tours we went on in Houston. She was kind, honest, and a fantastic advocate for the complex! I am excited for our future with Avenue Grove!

    Our positive experience at Avenue Grove is thanks to one employee: Daniel Jamison. From touring the property, move-in, and every day since, Daniel is the reason our experience has been so positive with Avenue Grove. He has gone above and beyond to hear and follow up on concerns of water damage in our unit. He even showed up to assess water in our unit late at night, WAY past his working hours. None of this is in his job description, but he goes above and beyond to take care of residents. He followed up with us each step of the way and saw to it that the issue was resolved. When we submitted the maintenance request late at night, we didnā€™t except to hear back until the morning and we were so pleasantly shocked when Daniel knocked on our door less than 10 minutes later to check on us. When we wanted to rent a storage unit, a previous owner had left their belongings there. It is not in his job description to move other tenants left-over storage, yet he did, in his suit might I add, to make sure it was ready for us. Daniel is the reason many tenants feel heard and taken care of at this property. Avenue Grove would severely go downhill in satisfied tenants if they ever lost him. He is indispensable. They are lucky to have him and so are residents!

The pool is another of my favorites. The times Iā€™ve gone for a swim, the neighbors I encountered were friendly and kind. Overall, everyone is welcoming!     Iā€™ve lived at Avenue Grove for 2 years. Iā€™ve seen the transition of management and I can truly say Victoria the new manager is a game changer. I planned to move to be closer to my salon, but Iā€™ve never felt so valued and heard at a place that I live. I sat down with Victoria to voice my concerns and she assured me that my issues would be addressed accordingly. And Iā€™m happy to say my living experience has been much better!     I have lived here for two years. I have seen changes in management, low COVID prices to high inflation prices, and mass move outs to mass move ins. All I can say is that I love Avenue Grove.To start with the cons, the elevators are agonizingly slow. Ive even been late to work waiting for them. Additionally, the gym equipment could use some drastic improvements, its a small space but could do well with some updated equipment. Also, there arent many amenities. Apartments often have game rooms or rooms to host events and have guests but Avenue Grove really only offers the pool, bbq area, and gym as its main amenities. Lastly, some people have loud dogs, there have been a handful of garage break ins, and often there will be a smell of weed in the elevator or hallways. However, these problems are not unique to Avenue Grove. Any apartment complex in the city will have those apartments, and Ive lived at 6 so I would know.All that being said, I love everything else about Avenue Grove. Location is prime as it is right off the highway and as someone who is always running late, it is very convenient. The park view cannot be beat. I often take walks in the park that are very good for my mental health. Theyll often have events (mostly for kids which doesnt really benefit me), like movie nights and festivals that are fun. There are very few apartments within the loop that offer you the peace and quiet of suburbia with the entertaining, dining, and career opportunities of the city. The management under Midway is preferred to the Lincoln management that briefly took over just because of their availability, response time, and overall pleasant attitude. The concierge staff, particularly the young woman whose name is escaping me is especially helpful and kind. I was also greatly helped on my lease renewal by Stacey Rodriguez from the corporate office - kind, helpful, and attentive like the rest of the staff here. And, as someone who has never been one to befriend neighbors, I have actually made lots of friends with neighbors in my time here. It is unlikely that I could see myself moving from Avenue Grove. Even as my lease price went up on renewal, I still couldnt imagine living anywhere else. Pros and cons in mind, Id recommend living here to a friend.

    Would recommend Avenue Grove to everyone! We recently re-signed our lease and have loved living here. At move in the team was really helpful in getting us set up with all of the details, access to the loading dock, etc. and since then have been a great help for our additional needs and questions around receiving deliveries, building access, or maintenance requests. The teams are so helpful and extremely friendly -- truly everything youd want from a leasing staff! The facilities are excellent and we love being so close to Levy Park, Slowpokes coffee and all of the other nearby restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an upgraded apartment and a welcoming community!

    I really love the location of Avenue Groove. Levy park is right in front of the complex. This park is one of my favorites in Houston.     We have absolutely loved our time at Avenue Grove! When it came time to look for a new apartment, or resign the lease.. we just couldnā€™t leave! The gorgeous interior and modern floor to ceiling windows are hard to come by in apartments, which was a huge selling point. This is also the place to be if you have a furry friend, as the dog park at Levy Park is only a few steps away. We grab our morning coffee/latte from the lobby and then take our pup there daily. We love the atmosphere that the park brings, and feel very at home. This complex is great for small families and pet owners!

I gave my realtor a list of apartments/condos that I was interested in and Avenue Grove was my second and last stop. (thanks the Earl)From the AMAZING staff to wonderful apartment... thereā€™s so much to love. Being located in front on one of Houstonā€™s best parks is an added aesthetic and fun for all ages. The pool area in the summer is so beautiful and clean. I was able to host a small party in the courtyard and the staff was very accommodating.The facilities staff are awesome as well. Like anywhere, I have had some minor issues (door needed to be tightened) my work order was fixed immediately. They do a great job keeping everything clean and safe.Mark (concierge) is a jewel! He is always there to step in and help. I never have to worry about waiting for someone to help his attention to the guests needs is very much appreciated.EVERYONE in the office is so nice and make me feel welcome and Iā€™ve never been hesitant to address and issues.This community does cater to dogs so I would say if you do not like animals, this may not be the place for you because a lot of residents have dogs, but theyā€™re like residents too..( I love seeing them in passing)All in all, I am content here and thankful for this community seeing as I am a transplant to Houston!

    I wanted to take some time to brag on our new head of maintenance! Gerado has been a game changer for AvenueGrove since he came to our property. I had several maintenance requests, some that had been opened for over a year. Gerado got right on it and took care of everything very quickly. He is one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met and I can tell he truly cares about the property.

    Outstanding Customer Service All of the employees have been most helpful to us as residents. Specifically, Brittany Ray recently exceeded all our expectations by assisting me with scanning documents for my work after my scanner broke down. She dropped what she was doing to help me and I was able to meet an important deadline. This is just one example of how Brittany and the Avenue Grove team work to keep their tenants happy.     Avenue grove has been a wonderful place to live at! I have just signed a second lease term with my husband and we absolutely love living here. The furnishings are top notch, the location is great (right next to the dog park, restaurants, and in a GREAT neighborhood). The amenities are clean and are taken care of. What we love most about this residence is that the management and residents both provide a great sense of community and safe-ness. We love AG!

    My husband and I moved into our apartment in July 2017, and we have loved living here. The location is safe yet always surrounded by fun things to do. A short walk to bars, restaurants, and the farmers market. Easy to hop onto 59 for commuters. Plus, Levy Park is always hosting something fun in addition to having an excellent dog park (Avenue Grove also has a private fenced in park for tenants only behind the building). We love that Mark, the concierge, and Mike, the night security guard greet us and our dogs by name. Weve had packages hand-delivered, and were always notified if perishable packages are delivered. The staff does a good job throwing events for the residents including monthly get-togethers -- Earl even made us all a home-cooked dinner in the midst of Hurricane Harvey. The maintenance team is prompt to address concerns and is respectful of the fact that we have two large dogs. The amenities deck is delightful, and the property in general is very well maintained/landscaped and safety/security are clearly priorities. Its really a pleasure to be an Avenue Grove tenant.

    Avenue Grove is a phenomenal place to live. It is a beautiful property with great amenities. My son is a huge fan of Levy Park so to walk outside to visit whenever we want is a huge plus in our book. However, what I love most about this property is the staff, specifically the Director of Leasing, Earl Mallet. Earl was really the cherry on top in our decision to move here. He is one-of-a-kind. I have never lived at a property where the Director of Leasing goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy. He puts on resident event and even does the cooking (where else will you find this kind of service?? Ill continue to wait lol)No matter the issue, he finds a way to resolve. His customer service skills, his ability to connect with people, and his caring, loving personality is beyond amazing. Its obvious he is very passionate about what he does. He gives 100% every day and is ALWAYS dressed to kill. A true professional. Thank you Earl and Avenue Grove for a wonderful living experience.

    I initially started leased for 6 months. I was not planning to stay long but the location, staff, and amenities made me want to stay longer. I enjoy the floor to ceiling windows and the views. The modern feel is wonderful and feels spacious. I enjoy the subtle things the management team does such as food truck Tuesdays, New Years eve toast, cupcake appreciation day etc. goes a long way. I highly recommend staying at Avenue Groves.

    I have been living here since Oct 2017, and I love it here. The apartments are truly one of a kind and do not have that generic cookie-cutter feel like most of the other places I have toured. I love the concrete beams and exposed ceiling. The staff is world-class, and they really have a residence first approach.People arent machines and mistakes will happen, but the staff at Avenue Grove (AG) goes above and beyond to correct any mistakes/issues. Ramey, the property manager, is amazing. We forgot to include a clause within our contract which included a $500 Southwest Airlines gift card, and he ensured that we were taken care off. My best friends (also lives at AG) bike was stolen and instead of making excuses, Ramey took action and added an extra layer of security by the bike area.Early, the leasing director, a character to say the least, is a terrific cook and threats the residence of Avenue Grove to his phenomenal cooking during Wine Down Wednesday (a social event put together by the staff). You can tell he is extremely passionate about ensuring that people really enjoy their stay at AG. Mark, the concierge, is always extremely helpful and always has a smile on his face. Super easy to talk to.The amenities are top notch. I cancelled my gym membership because the gym on site, had everything I need and is always well kept. The pool, located on the 3 floor is gorgeous, although I wish it was a bit bigger. There is plenty of parking available, and very easy for guests to park as well.The only cons about the property are that you can hear the freeway (although its not a big deal and you get used to it), and that there are a ton of dogs...the dogs arent the issue but sometimes the owners allow their pets to release themselves on the property, despite that there is a dog park right across the street. Management does a great job at addressing the problem, but that is really a residence issue.All-in-all this is the best place I have lived and I would highly recommend living at Avenue Grove!

    First things first, the building and apartments look and feel absolutely amazing. Another plus is that Avenue Grove is right next to Levy park, which contributes to its overall sensational experience. The staff has been steadily improving their customer friendliness and are always available during the designated hours. In terms for the negatives, the building has had few security related issues and one break in in the last few months, but management has been proactive in addressing the issues.

    Moved here in August 2017, and absolutely love it. Beautiful apartment, gorgeous view of Levy Park. Building is rock-solid, and our apartment is very quiet. Staff is stellar. Wine Down Wednesday hosted every month where you can meet your neighbors who are wonderful, eclectic group. Amenities are first-rate, great gym, beautiful pool deck. Package concierge is convenient way to access your deliveries. Levy Park is literally outside the lobby front door. Previously a home-owner and am loving mid-rise living at Avenue Grove.

    Mid-rise building are a dime a dozen now. How to discriminate? Location, services and staff. This place ticks all three, especially in relation to value. Levy Park alone, with its myriad events, dog and kid friendly spaces, and new restaurants, would be worth it. The friendly, outgoing team running the building, from A to Z, make it nice to come home to. And the gym, pool and outdoor grills are perfect extra luxuries. I also appreciate the diverse group of here: families, couples, friends, singles, kids and pets all represented.

    I was originally introduced to Avenue Grove in June 2018 by Earl Mallett and immediately fell in love with the complex. AG sits across one of the nicest parks Ive ever been to and the amenities offered by Avenue Grove are second-to-none. The complex is first class in every sense and a big part of that is led by Earl. In addition to the high-end amenities and modern/European feel, Earl hosts monthly resident get-togethers that are a great way to meet other residents and enjoy good food and wine. Overall, I highly recommend the complex given the location, luxurious feel, and customer service offered by Earl and his team!

    Moved here about a month ago, and I have zero complains. Unlike the other review where it states the elevator is always broken down, I yet have to witness that on my own. The finishes are in the higher-end spectrum, ranging from frameless cabinets with lots of drawer storage, to all the main lights being dimmable.I have a very energetic small dog, and being across from the dog park has made him SO happy (and has made daddy happier too). There is something going on at all times at the park. From yoga and pilates, to social gatherings and food festivals.Everyone is super friendly here, and have made the welcoming process a comfortable and laidback one.I am very happy to say I will be living here for another 1.5 years!
