Although I havent moved in quite yet, I wanted to post that the rental process has been amazing. (I previously lived at Atera for 17 years and am excited about moving back!) Selena was so very kind, helpful and informative and the application, lease signing process could not have been easier.Also, Hannah - the Community Manager has been most welcoming and accommodating.The apartments here have the best layouts and a great location. Close to downtown and all major thoroughfares. Awesome community!

I just moved to Atera and so far so good!Enjoying the quiet neighborhood & safe community. The application was quick & move in was a breeze.Enjoying a 3rd floor apartment with high ceilings, unfortunately stairs only.The pool, mail, and package service has been great so far. The gym is a bit lacking with the amount of residents that use it.The rent listed isnt what youll pay, they have quite a few added on fees. That being said, its a good place for the price.No experience with maintenance so far.

We have lived at Atera since January 2024, and have mostly loved our experience so far!! Overall I would recommend Atera to any prospective residents.PROS:- office staff and maintenance staff is stellar! Keep up the good work! The complex always looks clean and well-kept. Kimberly is very hands-on and you can tell she truly cares.- the complex is in the city and close to highways, but is overall very quiet and safe. The gated community feeling is comforting.- the units are spacious and have character since they were built decades ago. Walls are thick and we hardly ever hear our neighbors. Our balcony is huge which we love. Third floor units have vaulted ceilings which make the units seem even larger than they are.- Washer and dryer is included which is a big plus compared to other places we have lived.- Two pools and multiple dog parks which are all kept in great condition.CONS:- unless you pay extra for a covered spot or a garage, parking can be hard to find, especially at night. Sometimes you have to park far from your apartment because there are no available spots. Can be confusing for guests as well. The guest call box doesn’t work sometimes.- lots of fees tacked on top of the base rent. Forced to pay for valet trash, fetch package service, etc. which can be annoying.- the appliances are a bit on the older side and not super great quality.- the gym could use more equipment.- we were told the clubhouse by the back pool is not allowed to be used by residents and you cannot reserve it for gatherings or any of the sort. Somewhat disappointing since it looks like a nice space. Now it sits there unused and empty.

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Mora, and he was nothing short of amazing! From the start, Kevin was professional, incredibly kind, and always approachable. His extensive knowledge and ability to answer our questions made the entire consulting meeting smooth and stress-free.Kevin’s warmth and enthusiasm made me feel like Atera is not just a place to live but an accepting and welcoming community. He truly listened to what I was looking for and did an incredible job of finding the perfect apartment for me.Out of all the leasing consultants I worked with during my search, Kevin stood out as one of the best. His friendliness and positive energy were infectious and are definitely a big reason I’m seriously considering leasing with Atera.I can’t recommend Kevin enough to anyone searching for a new home—he’s a true standout!

My family and I really love this place! If it wasnt for my job, we would live there for a few more years. The neighborhood is great and the apartment complex is safe and quiet, especially for those with children. I dont have enough words to thank the Atera team. Esther Hernandez helped us from day one, helping us with the application and with the documents, with patience and care. Mauricio was really important! He was always willing to solve the unforeseen in the apartment and always smiling! Kimberly always very polite, attentive, patient and with a lot of love helped us in all doubts, unforeseen and with our departure made everything easier. We are really grateful to all of you all! I moved in here a couple of months ago and I love it! My apartment was nice and clean on my first day and I didnt find any issues with my unit! The staff are great! I can tell the maintenance crew work really hard to keep the property in top shape, and the office staff are super helpful, accommodating, and welcoming! Im impressed with Atera!

I’ve been living in Atera for 2 months now. It definitely has many pros and many cons. No place is perfect. My family is happy here at the moment, but that’s not to say that many things could be improved.If you are thinking of moving to Atera, and want the opinion of a resident, let me know! The apartment manager Kimberly is so helpful! The leasing agents Bonnie and Selena go out of their way for the residents as too. The maintenance personnel are timely, so sweet, and helpful. Any time that I’ve had an issue, maintenance responded promptly and fixed the issue. One time I had a package delivered which was too heavy lol . Maintenance personnel saw me and helped me bring it into my apartment which was on the second floor.I moved here from a completely different city, but I can say Atera makes me feels at home! I am very thankful for the leasing agents, apartment manager and maintenance personnel for all they’ve done for me and other residents as well.

I have been living here for over eleven wonderful years. The managements at the front office have been the most helpful individuals I have ever come across by far! They’ve gone above & beyond to accommodate & take care of anything that I have needed throughout the years. As for the maintenance team I can not express in words how appreciative of them I have been for their swift & immediate response to anything that needed to be fixed! Love the community itself as it is a very clean & safe place with plenty of trees all around the complex. Can not thank Kimberly the complex manager & Mauricio the maintenance manager enough for their incredible warm & caring personality! These two really make this place feel like a neighborhood rather than an apartment complex!

Super amazing team! I would recommend Atera 10/10!The only reason I’m moving out is because of the lack of EV CHARGING- since I own an electric vehicle and a need charger. If that wouldn’t have been the case, I would have loved to extend my stay here!!!

When I came to the United States, my friends and I were looking for a suitable place to stay because I needed to join a teacher assistant program. We searched for a long time and finally came across this apartment. This Atera apartment looks very safe, with a safe gate and security, and the price is not very expensive compared to other places. Especially Bonnie from the office, she received us very warmly and provided us with a lot of help, especially Im having a hard time.You know, I just came to the United States for 2 weeks, but I dont have an SSN, so its very difficult to find an apartment. But this apartment was very user-friendly and asked me to provide some supporting documents and quickly let me move in. This is very helpful to me and I feel very lucky.

The Atera has been an amazing place to have an apartment since we have had a unit, which dates back over ten years.The location, privacy, security and value have always been excellent.Recently the whole experience has gotten incredibly strong due to the following:- Amazing maintenance by Mauricio. He very neatly and professionally knocked out three issues that could have taken a long time, all within the same day. He did this only one day after I raised the issues to his attention.- They now use the Resident App, which I use for communicating with them about anything, seamlessly and all in one place. Maintenance requests, service requests, community updates, etc. All super helpful and make my life easier.- Smart home devices installed in the units. Temperature, fans, lighting, alarms, etc. all from a large keypad next to the front door. Amazing.- Leonor and Kim from the BH team leasing team were truly both beyond exceptional in communicating and working through a new lease that we put together. You are really great faces of your Firm, they are lucky to have you representing them. Kudos and thanks.The Atera is better than ever. Thanks again.

I absolutely love living at Atera. Staff is super helpful and quick to respond to my requests. Kimberly and Leonor made my move in process so simple and hassle free, not to mention my transfer process from a smaller to larger apartment. All service requests that I submitted were immediately addressed within 24 hours and havent had any issues since. My favorite thing about Atera is the location which is walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, bars, and more.

**UPDATE: I’m still here and it is 2024 and the staff is still amazing so is the maintenance. I can’t think of any complaints. I’m trying to get a couple friends to move here! **I’ve been living here since 2016 and I love it! The office staff are always on top of things especially the maintenance. Mauricio is the coolest! My son and I feel safe here and I love both pools and the fitness center. I have also met some cool neighbors. It’s real diverse here so there are people with kids, single people, married, straight people, LGBTQ+, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, so it’s pretty chill here and I address this info for those that care because some do and that’s just reality like it or not. The location is by every main highway and close to my fav restaurants, shopping, and close to work. This place is just out of the way of the noisy party part of town for those concerned. I recommend this place!

I have lived here around 2 months, right as the new management took over. I really have no idea where all the bad reviews are coming from. I think it is an amazing place to live. The new management company is renovating all of the buildings. They are currently re-roofing the one I live in. The staff is super friendly and understanding. I feel very safe here.The rent is amazing for the size of the apartment and the maintenance team has taken care of my request within a 3 hour window every time I have a problem. I know people have also complained about parking, and it seems like management is in the process of towing more cars so tenants have adequate parking options.Dont run as fast as you can. Instead, stop by for a tour and check it out! It really is an awesome place. :)Barry, Jaye C, Rachel, and Leigh Ann, you guys are great!

Atera Apartments is one of the best offers that you can find on market these days. Its not perfect or super fancy, but for this price its completely good choice. You can get a good sqft for actually affordable price. Its not in the middle of nowhere, you can get to the grocery stores and cafes by walking. During move-in process, manager Selena was helpful and answered all my questions, thank you. If you are looking for apartments relying on reviews - then just do not rely on them for 100 %, better come and see how unit and area actually looks like. Because nowadays, you have to choose whats more more important to you - affordability, area or unit, ull never find all in one, and if you will, price will definitely go over 1.500.Personally for me - im completely satisfied with this choice, the biggest plus is that my commute went form 1hr+ to 5 mins.

Updated 12/2023Best Place I have lived in 24-years.I will be signing my 5th lease with Atera soon.I am one that expects a lot from the community that I live in, as I work in the apartment management industry, I know reasonably what is and what is not considered reasonable.Living at Atera has been simply amazing. The team in the office knows me by name and is always super helpful. Ive lived at Atera under two different Owners and this one by far the BEST!The team is prompt in responding to e-mails, return phone calls promptly and complete requests for maintenance fairly quick. (they always clean up after themselves - biggest peeve of mine from prior apartments I lived at).After the pandemic - there were certainly times that requests for service took days to complete - but the one thing that I loved - was there always some sort of check-in at least every 3-days to acknowledge they have the request, they were working through all the requests that needed to be completed.

I had a great full year with the Atera. The community itself seems to be looking out for each other which is nice. Because at one point I left my keys in the truck with my window rolled down and all my personal belongings in there one night and were still there after I woke up. I cant say that happened for everybody though. Furthermore the community manager and her leasing agents are very strict and will enforce the community guideline as written in the lease agreement. very little can you persuade them or suede them to change their decisions but they can be when request is reasonable within limit and parameters. I wish I could have stayed and released but the price has become way too excessive for me to afford living comfortably and doest threaten my encumbrance of enjoyment.Most importantly I feel the whole time I was there I have not seen a single bug. Roach specifically not once! However though you get mosquitoes for days during summer like as soon as the sun goes down you go down. We are soooo happy and lucky have found Atera when we did. As soon as we toured it, we loved it and could not wait to move in. From the very beginning, Miss Selena has been amazing, helping us out with our application process and with everything in between. With all the places I have lived in here in Dallas, Atera has been the best so far. Everyone from the front office managers to maintenance always help us out with anything we need and as soon as we need it done. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Also, the maintenance team have been amazing! I’ve put in several requests for small things and each of them were resolved so quickly!! I’m so grateful! Thank you Henry, Justin and David for helping out! I hope my lease doesn’t go up too much next year. I’d love to renew! 🤍

Since my last review the new management team has been awesome. They’ve been very responsive and have made several upgrades/changes around the complex. I’m highly considering renewing my lease for the 3rd year. Eric and Yessika from the leasing office have been great. Good job guys!Very very unhappy with the new management. Now, no one answers the phones, or if they do, some of the staff dont even know the answers to simple questions. I called today and was told by one of the females that they will get back to me via email with a answer to my question. The previous staff before bh management was awesome; Barry, Debra and Victoria were AWESOME. We need that trio team BACK. I dont think I’ll be renewing my lease if this doesnt change. Ive been here for two years and this has been the WORST thus far that Ive seen the complex.Individuals that they dont live on the complex are getting access to the complex, and drugs are being sold on the complex. When I first moved here it gave me a sense of being at home, now I dont even get that feeling. I have been living in Atera apartments for close to four years. I love my actual apartment. It is home to me. Other things I enjoy here are the two pools, the fitness center, the large dog park area and the new parcel lockers. Atera is conveniently located within walking distance of two grocery stores and the Oak Lawn Library.As a renter, having a good landlord/leasing agent/property manager is very important. Unprofessional, rude staff can make the rental experience unpleasant – even for such a nice place as Atera.We are very lucky to have a new property manager here. Yessika Gonzalez has been here since September 7, 2018. I have had the opportunity to work closely with her on a couple of issues. The issues were resolved to my satisfaction quickly and with cordiality.So, now, along with the nice apartment, the amenities and the proximity to places I go, I can include the property manager in a list of things I like about Atera.

Great place to live! Barry from the leasing office is great. Never had any issues that werent resolved quickly and efficiently. I appreciate the work going on to improve the apartments too. Ive been with BH management before, and it is excellent. The only downside is parking. Not enough parking spots that are free for tenants or guests.

Great community to live in, it has a warm nice feel of a neighborhood, leasing office staff are extremely nice. Barry in particular super responsive and helpful.I have been living here for over a year with no problems at all. Service requests gets completed within hours! I lost my keys on a Sunday once and they replaced my locks in 30 minutes after I called.

This place is a hidden gem! There is a real community feel to it. If you have a dog.. move here! I would guess that around half the residents have dogs. The dog park is always active, fun and our dog has a blast. Neighbors are extremely friendly and I’ve made some friends here, as well! Office staff is very friendly and helpful. All buildings just got a new paint job and the new colors look fresh and inviting. The interior renovations look great and the rent is lower than competitors. Atera is the best!

Not even lived here but the residence of Atera get 5*. Amanda and i made a visit on the weekend to look at the place from the outside. we are looking for a gated apartment with covered parking and a dog park.we saw a bunch of residents at the dog park on site so who better to ask about the place than people who actually live there. Google reviews are helpful but in person reviews from people currently there i have found are more accurate. not a negative word was said about Atera. we can not afford the prices right now but we are watching and as soon as the prices drop to with in our budget range we will be applying.

I have lived here for 5 years. Great complex. Maintenance is speedy. Dog friendly! I’ve lived in two different apartments during my time here and both have been great. There are of course the usual issues with messy neighbors and people who don’t clean up pet waste but overall the office handles these things great. I highly recommend this complex.

I want to share my and my partner’s positive experience with Atera manager Yessica Garza. My partner has been a resident at Atera for 20 years. I moved in with her in August 2019 and from day one, Yessica has been gracious and helpful in welcoming to the community. I find the Atera apartments environment very homelike and welcoming. Additionally the maintenance team has been quick and spot-on in making any repairs. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful flowers, trees and sparkling blue pool. I highly recommend choosing the Atera apartments if looking for a downtown-hometown feel. Jody

Been here at Atera for a little over a year now. Transition to the new management team was pretty rough, but the new manager Yessika, and her staff are the absolute best. Yessika is extremely responsive, quick to resolve problems, and a joy to work with. When I moved into my unit last year, the AC was horrible. Would barely keep the temps below 80 on hot Texas days. Previous team just ignored me, and it made for a VERY hot summer last year. I brought this up with Yessika, this spring, and she was immediately taking action to try and resolve it. Had maintenance work on it, and when they couldnt fix it, had the parent company facilities manager check it out. Turns out it the AC was undersized for the 3 Bedroom unit, so she had both ACs replaced. The new maintenance team is great as well. Very friendly, careful of leaving any kind of mess, and quick to respond to tickets. Since the new team got going they have been improving the property with several new fenced in dog parks, new sod, new fencing, in unit alarms, thermostats, and electronic locks etc. Fantastic service! Highly recommend this complex!

There are plenty of dog runs throughout the large complex. Plus, the location is perfect for everything you could possible need. Great place to live.

I have been living here for four years and love it! The new management, BH Management, has turned this place around for the better. Yessika, Raquel, and Ana are super friendly, patient with my questions, thorough, and knowledgeable. Yessika is fast with responses and doesn’t keep you waiting. The maintenance staff is super friendly too and fixes things right and in a timely manner. I’m moving from a one bedroom to a two bedroom and the process has been a breeze. I feel safe here and haven’t had problems. My son loves it here too and the neighbors are cool. The pools are nice too. There was an incident in the news last year, but that could happen anywhere in Dallas and I promise you that is not a representation of this community. Also, NO BUGS here! Four years no problems outside of leaving a window open and mosquito gets in lol I look forward to more time here. It’s close to everything but just outside of the heart of Uptown, so we’re hip but less commotion lol love it!

I have been a resident at this property for more than 15 years. One doesnt stay that long if the place isnt outstanding. (And Im not the longest termed resident) There are many people who have lived here for years.)There isnt a more convenient property in Dallas. There are two Krogers within walking distance - in addition to the Tom Thumb which is a ten minute drive. Two UPS stores, a full service US Postal location, and more restaurants than you can count are all within a five minute drive or a 10-20 minute walk.The property contains multiple (well kept) dog parks, two pools, and several grassy areas. You never see a bit of trash, the buildings are painted on a regular basis, and the staff maintains a first class appearance.Uniquely, The ATERA has a Package Room. You never need to be at home for your deliveries AND they are always safe. All packages are delivered to this secure facility and residents have a code which opens the facility. BUT, within the facility are lockers the access to which requires unique codes which change every delivery. There is an app which can be downloaded. It notifies residents when they have packages.Most importantly of all, the ATERA staff are SECOND TO NONE. I can be a tough customer to please, but I cannot say enough about the kindness, efficiency, and dedication this staff. They genuinely like their residents and treat us with respect and kindness. It sounds hokey, but they really treat us like family. A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO KIMBERLY.If youre looking for a great place to live, stop looking its at 4606 Cedar Springs Road. Come join us.
