We’ve lived in so many places, and now that we’re back to city life, I can’t imagine a better place to be than AMLI South Shore! The location is unbeatable, with easy access to everything Austin has to offer, plus the apartments are modern and well-designed. The lifestyle here is amazing—not just for us, but for dogs and kids too! It truly feels like home, and we love every bit of it!

Just moved into amli this past week! I love my apartment. Adan helped me through the whole process and did amazing to ensure everything was ready on move in day. I feel like he really understood each unit to help me find the best fit. Already loving my new home and the views that come with it. Also love how the food trucks are so close!! This complex gives a ton of opportunities to meet new people!!

Moving from Australia to Austin Texas in June 2024, finding our first place to live was kind of a big deal. We were lucky to have temporary accomodation for 6 weeks to have a chance to look around in different areas and complexes.My wife and I came across AMLI South shore and immediately fell in love with it. From a location perspective, it’s probably the best place to live if needing to be close to the city. It is perfectly located along the lake and is great for outdoors, jogging, kayaking etc.The view from the community area on the top floor overlooking the lake and the city is spectacular.The staff here are excellent. Maintenance are very responsive, the pool guy Dereck takes his job very seriously and the admin staff Aidan and the team have provided an A1 service. They even signed a birthday card and dropped it off to our door.Although AMLI South Shore feels like a holiday resort it also feels like home.The residents here are also very friendly.

Just moved into AMLI South Shore and it’s been one of the best moving experiences I’ve had. Adan has helped me every step of the way with any questions I’ve had. Beautiful view of the lake, clean amenities, super pet friendly, quick maintenance team, and overall such a lovely community. I highly recommend moving here. I toured many apartments in Austin over the summer and I am so glad I chose AMLI South Shore. You won’t regret it! :)

We have been here just over a week and were loving it. This was a major adjustment for us moving from a big house in Dallas to a 2 bedroom apartment in Austin. With every move there will be hiccups and Ive always felt that the way they get handled is what matters. This is the reason the AMLI Southshore gets 5 stars. We had a minor kerfluffle on what our move in time was but... no problem they fixed it right up. Ice machine not working in the fridge? They were there in 45 minutes to fix it. Sitting down and explaining all the amenities, how the mail room works, how trash service works, why they might not pickup on inclement weather days etc, all super professional. We love this place because 1. right on the water, you are a short walk through the complex to the trail on Lady Bird Lake 2. Staff responsiveness and caring - Jen for showing and getting us set up and Joyce for handling all the first day issues 3. Nicely laid out apartments 4. Super quiet we havent heard hardly anything from our upstairs or side to side neighbors, absolutely the quietest apartment weve ever had 5. No bugs period they keep the entire facility well maintained and cleaned. 6. Everyone weve met so far have been super friendly 7. Pet friendly apartment! Sure there are a few jerks in any place that let their pets off leash where they shouldnt but overall our mini-schnauzer has been having a blast. Thank you AMLI staff for making this transition so easy.

I’m leaving this review because I’m very grateful and impressed with the maintenance staff. My AC broke this week and Cristian came to fix it immediately. He was very professional.I’ve been living here for 2 months and happy with my experience so far. Great amenities and they keep the building very clean. Some people forget to clean up after their dogs or leave trash out and AMLI does a great job at cleaning up after them.My only complaint is that the units facing the street are very noisy. You can hear EVERYTHING outside. I’m a heavy sleeper but it still annoys me occasionally.If you can deal with the noise I recommend this building. Units are spacious and clean (no carpet). Having the trail easily accessible is also a game changer.

Ive lived at the AMLI South Shore for a little over 3 years, so the goal of this review is to give a clear-eyed account of what you can expect when living here. (Also, Im giving it 4 stars when Id probably rate the place more at 4.5. Not gonna round up, though, because 5 star reviews always seem a bit like they are shilling.)One thing to note is that theres a big divide between Building 7 and the rest of the complex. Building 7 is newer, more expensive, and right on the river. The other buildings are older and have more affordable units. The good news is that even those of us in the older buildings can still go over to Building 7 and use their very nice common areas. So if you decide to live here be sure to spend some time hanging out at the rooftop deck in Building 7, because it is easily one of the best views in the entire city.The location absolutely cannot be beat. The trail is one of Austins true gems and the access to it that you get from AMLI is better than anywhere else. You can also walk to Emos, Come & Take It Live, the Buzz Mill, and dozens of excellent places to eat. Youre right in the middle of Austin without being downtown, so if you have to drive somewhere youll be able to get there much faster than youd expect. That said, Lakeshore Blvd is getting increasingly crowded, so be prepared to deal with some frustration driving in and out of that entrance during rush hours.Having 1618 Asian Fusion on site is a blessing and a curse. Its a great spot to take a date and the food is excellent (if you work from home, order your lunch to-go from there and youll never be disappointed). However, it also causes a snarl of traffic and some chaos in the parking garage during the evenings and weekends. If your unit has windows or a balcony near 1618 you are going to be hearing loud groups leaving the place on weekend evenings, and loud refrigerated trucks making food deliveries early in the morning. For me, personally, the positives outweighed the negatives.The place is very well maintained, though it is showing its age (other than Building 7). Theres always going to be some major or semi-major repair happening somewhere around the complex, which can be annoying but is far better than the alternative.Dont be shy about putting in any maintenance requests you need, especially if its something you notice in a common area. The staff is really good at taking care of things once it gets brought to their attention, but Ive definitely seen some things go unfixed for a while because we all assumed someone else will be the one to bring it up.They are very good about listening to residents and improving where they can. The package room used to be complete chaos, and the prospect of getting a package delivered was very stressful (especially during the holidays). Then they installed new package lockers, and now getting a package delivered is much less stressful.On the subject of deliveries, the USPS postal carrier assigned to AMLI isnt going to ever bother trying to get a signature for a certified letter (or any other signature-required delivery) so if you are getting one sent to you expect to have to go to the local Post Office to pick it up yourself. This isnt a problem specific to the AMLI, though, as conversations Ive had with resident in other complexes in the area confirm that they have the same problems with their USPS service.This review is laughably long, but if youve made it to this point then you probably do want to live here. So I say: go for it. Its gonna be kinda loud and kinda messy but also years from now youll look back at your time here and be glad that you got to experience it.

AMLI Southshore is a genuine gem on East Riverside! Not only is it right off the hike and bike trail with 2 easy access points, but the property is always clean and the staff is amazing! It’s also incredibly dog friendly with a large enclosed dog park & washing station! I lived here for 2 years and absolutely loved it! If life hadn’t of taken me in different directions I would still be living there! Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you AMLI Southshore for an amazing first few years in Austin Texas! :)

My son spent the Summer here in this beautiful apartment complex on the Colorado River / Lady Bird Lake. As a parent, I felt comfortable leaving him here with all of the safety features offered (latch locks at every door and gated parking) and he had an amazing Summer here. Loving living at AMLI South Shore so far! Miriam my leasing agent was great in helping me pick the best floorplan. Move in was a breeze and she took me through an orientation that was very helpful. Maintenance requests have been handled quickly and the team is super nice. You cant beat the location with great food options close by and access to Lady Bird Lake. New package lockers being installed to help with the high volume of deliveries. Very happy with this community!

I’ve lived at AMLI South Shore for a bit over 5 months and I love it. Building 7 is nice and has a more private parking garage and the building is well maintained week to week. The cleaning people mop/maintain floors nearly everyday and it is so appreciated. Aidan helped me seamlessly during the leasing process and has been a pillar of help during my stay so far. Plan on moving units to a bigger unit and he has helped me immensely so far even when I’ve been dropping by and calling way too many times lol. The other agents and office staff have all been so helpful and nice. Love it here and the ease to dine out at 1618 everyday helps when I’ve gotten home tired to cook. Highly recommend

This place is incredible! Ive lived here for a little over 6 months and LOVE it. Ive been in Austin for 2 years and my only regret is not moving to Amli South Shore sooner. The maintenance team is incredibly fast, friendly and easy to speak with. The hallways are cleaned every weekday, and the amenities are always clean and tidy (even after the Huge Super Bowl parties). Being so close to downtown, I was worried about safely walking my dog on the complex at night. But the security team is incredible, and I havent had a single issue. Ive never felt so safe in my apartment, especially in Austin. Guest parking is pretty good, and Ive never had an issue for my friends to find parking.My favorite part of this complex is the leasing staff. I think its the most important part of any apartment complex, as its up to them to fix any issues. They are amazing at keeping the community updated with timely emails and updates. They consistently ask for feedback AND act on the responses from residents. Amenities are always being improved upon, like getting new TV screens, lockers, and speakers. Liz is my favorite, she is honestly incredible. She is friendly, welcoming and amazing at solving any questions or concerns I have. If you have a problem, Liz can solve it.While the units are expensive, this is one of the rare places where its worth it to spend the extra money. They put the money back into the complex maintenance, safety, and amenities. Ill be staying here as long as I am in Austin.

Having lived in Austin for a couple of months, hindsight being 20/20, I think I would’ve moved here if I had to choose again.The location is perfect, just far enough outside of downtown. The building is also right on Lady Bird Lake. So you’ve got a great walking trail next to it that’s actually over the water, the location has a great park and dog park in the back next to the river, great view, consider these guys if you’re moving here.

I arrived with movers and everything ready to move-in to a unit that I had only seen model of prior. I got into my unit and did not like the location and road noise, so was concerned if there was anything I could do to shift my options. You can imagine I was feeling upset and didn’t know how the leasing office team, who was super lovely up until then, would react to my ask to move into another unit on the same day….Joyce was epic - she showed me another unit option, made me feel seen, worked with her team there to flip new lease info and got me into another unit within 2 hours. Liz, Adan and the whole team here made me feel in as much ease as possible and I could not have asked for a better community!Thank you for making a difficult situation into an amazing one!

I love the community of AMLI South Shore. The direct access to the trail and lake is ideal. The location is perfect for my needs. The staff is amazing and quick to help. I also appreciate that all communal areas are always kept clean (including all hallways). Plus they provide nice gifts for residents randomly (like snacks, an event at the apt, etc)

My husband and I have lived here for 2 months now. We flew down once and loved the amenities and location but really wanted a unit with a view of the lake. The second time we flew down, a lakefront unit was available, and we jumped on it. Weve been really happy here so far. Amenities are nice, common areas arent very crowded and are often empty. Our unit was very clean at move-in time, and all the communal amenities are deep-cleaned daily, which is great. Access to the lakeside trail is a huge plus. Ive always been able to find a parking spot in the building 7 garage, even when coming home late (3-5am) from work. Being in the same complex as 1618 Asian Fusion is a HUGE perk; such a fantastic restaurant to have nearby. Tenants are all very friendlyAdan is wonderful, and was so helpful in showing us the community and facilitating our move from out of state. He frequently checks in to see how things are going and ask if theres anything that could be improved upon.Cons:- We love a dog-friendly community, but the smell of dog urine on the turf can be pretty rank at times. Not sure that anything could be done about this, but worth knowing before moving in.- As an ER vet, I really hate dog parks, but I use AMLIs to allow my dog some off-leash time when its otherwise empty. The interior doors are easily opened by a smart dog, so not the safest. Would love some more shade in the dog parks too.- Would love a dog blow dryer in the paw wash station (def a luxury, but would be super nice!)- Packages are all delivered to the main leasing building, and there arent any nearby trash or recycling bins to unwrap deliveries and make them easier to carry back to your building.- Gym leaves a lot to be desired. We have a Golds membership and only use the community gym for cardio and quick lifts, but would love to see some easybars, heavier weights, squat rack, ab machine, etc.- Small key fobs would be really handy for building/unit access. Pulling out my phone can be cumbersome, and the wallet cards are really big to carry around day-to-day.Overall would give 4.5 stars; definitely made the right choice moving in, but some small improvements would be great.

I moved to Amli South Shore a couple months ago and I love my unit! It’s a little bigger and cheaper compared to my previous place.The leasing office staff are all so friendly and helpful, particularly Adan! Before my move, Adan stayed in contact and helped keep track of all the paperwork that needed to be submitted. It was quite an easy process. He really took his time to show me all the units that I wanted to check out. If you’re interested in living at the Amli, Adan is your guy!!

I have lived at Amli Southshore for over a year now. The location is amazing and we love making easy use of the trail for nightly walks, morning bike rides, and the easy paddleboard launch dock. I met my partner here (hes my neighbor) and it has made enjoying this community that much better. The staff is wonderful and friendly and the upkeep to the propertys aesthetic is excellent. The rooftop has a gorgeous view to relax with friends and wine and catch the beautiful Austin sunset and the community spaces are always clean and beautiful.

Just moved into the AMLI South Shore and Im loving it (apt, view of town lake and downtown, boardwalk, management) . My leasing agent Ana has been Amazing throughout the process ! She spent a lot of time discussing unit options, performed a virtual tour, and and sending photos of the apt. The leasing office is very attentive to all my questions, fast turn around time on resolving issues. I highly recommend this property to other renters, especially the units facing town lake. In terms of amenities, the gym is nicer than any apartment gym Ive ever used. The pool is a bit small, but at least its open. Having a kayak rental on site is convenient.

I signed a 13 month lease with them the first weekend I moved into Austin, from my experience with the leasing agents on site, to the ease of communication when scheduling my move in, it was amazing. I moved into AMLI South Shore in July 2020 and my experience living here time and again has been outstanding.The staff here are delightful and my personal interactions with Ana, Kilish, Adam and Danny all have made me feel valued as a resident and happy to be here. I know this compliment extends to the rest of the team as they are all true professionals.A stand out example of the quality of customer service and care for the property has to be the staffs response during the winter storm (February 2021). It was a hell of a scary time in Austin and many peoples homes were ruined. At AMLI South Shore, however, we were so fortunate to have a management and operations team that showed up every day, provided frequent and thorough updates, secured quality vendors for repairs, and worked urgently to get our community back in working order.The units themselves are solidly built, and while you may share walls, I hardly hear my neighbors. The amenities are impressive and nothing beats the views of downtown and the gorgeous river walk.Based on my experience, I have already referred one friend to move in (she too loves it here) and I would recommend AMLI South Shore to anyone.

You can’t beat the location here. 5 minutes to downtown and right on the water/waterfront trail. It’s great if you’re a runner, do frequent dog walks or are just generally active. I plan on getting a SUP as there’s a dock for residents. The amenities are great and everything is well kept and clean. It’s also really cool being right next to the food truck lot as well and we’re walking distance from some restaurants and convenient shops. Coming from NY, I was really blown away at how great a residential apartment could be.

The staff at AMLI rock! I relocated from Nj on 8/16. Aden was my first point of contact; he was transparent and available throughout the entire process. On my arrival date, I was greeted by Adrian, who was a big help in explaining all of the amenities and rules and gave a quick tour of any places of interest I had. Miriam was also very professional and helpful. Coming from an Apartment, AMLI shows how the right way of doing things is done. So far, I have no complaints, and everyone Ive asked loves it! There is a fantastic affordable Asian Fusion Restaurant on the property grounds, and you get 15-20% off with your incredible AMLI perks. This does not exist in NY/NJ. Finally, If you are willing to spend a little more to get the views, it’s well worth it!

I recently lived at the AMLI South Shore during session. In my six month stay, I enjoyed the close proximity to downtown and the access to Lady Bird Lake, the boardwalk, and restaurants nearby. The leasing staff here is excellent. On multiple occasions during my stay—Stephanie, Troy, Elizabeth, and Ana—were all responsive and accommodating to every issue or question I had. They made my transition of moving-in as well as moving-out feel seamlessly. Maintenance requests were always completed promptly. New residents should expect the support.The renovations and construction taking place are not intrusive as people have complained about. The staff informed residents of the work hours and promptly alerted residents whenever they had to temporarily deviate from those hours.I’ll admit I was not a fan of the new locking system by Latch when it was first installed. Using an app on your phone to access every door seemed like an inconvenience. But soon after I became accustomed to the app to the point that I now wish my current apartment complex had Latch. Although I never bothered to use the key card, they are available for those that struggle with change.I recommend the AMLI South Shore for anyone considering to a new apartment. The experience will be better than mine with the renovated amenity spaces set to completed soon.

I really like the way the property has improved in regards to cleanliness and overall look since Jacob took in. He’s a stickler but it helps keep the property on the right track. The location and the amenities are great. I’ve gotten a couple warnings but it’s totally been my fault (stupid decisions). What I like is that they bring it to your attention as it should be. I miss Elizabeth, she was a total sweetheart, she was great during my move in as I was out of the country throughout the whole process. Adam and Kalesh at the leasing office were great in helping me with anything I needed in re-signing my new lease.

My partner and I have lived at AMLI south shore for about a year and have loved it. We moved from a near by complex and the value/quality here at the AMLI is leagues beyond that of the comparable complexes in the area. I am so appreciative of how well the AMLI takes care of the facilities, grounds and your individual apartment, they really care. There were multiple times I needed a few random things fixed around the apartment and they were completed within a few hours of submitting the requests online. The front office is also very supportive and helpful. I have lived at other sites where no one in the office knows how to get things done, but here at the AMLI its done efficiently and quickly. If someone doesnt know the answer they will get back to you asap and actually follow up which is super appreciative. Kilish is a great worker at the front office and super helpful! Lastly, you cant beat the location of the AMLI, living right on the town lake trail is so ideal and beautiful. We loved it here and wish we could stay, however well be moving out of state! Would definitely recommend though to anyone!

Really would recommend living here!I’ve been living at Amli for about 10 months now, and feel I can review it.First off, the apartment manager Robert went above and beyond before I even moved in. There were issues with my apartment and they had to push my move in date, but Robert was very accommodating.Ana, the assistant community manager, has also been nothing but helpful when I needed anything. She’s always eager and ready to help.Troy is also very helpful! He’s also extremely nice, and is very pleasurable to talk with. The leasing staff also regularly send out updates to my email (sometimes multiple per week,) with news regarding amenities and construction.Also the maintenance man, Danny, has always fixed my issues quickly with a smile on his face. I truly am glad to live here, and would recommend anyone move here. The fix issues within 48 hours or you live rent free (until issue is fixed.)The construction seems to be a lot of people’s complaints, but the construction was clearly communicated when I signed my lease with the timeline. The first month of construction was a bit rough, but I think AMLI got enough complaints to fix the issues — I now have no complaints with construction.They also recently added new Bluetooth locks everywhere, as well as installed a new gate that can’t be opened with your hands anymore. The parking garage also has had a bunch of LED lights added.Also, for the interior, it’s the best furnished apartment in the area — hands down. I have friends in all the complexes around and AMLI wins hands down.Honestly the location, price, features, and leasing staff alone make this place worth it to live.I’ll definitely be staying at AMLI for another year! Give them a shot, I figured I’d give them some love since the construction has made some people angry. I won’t lie it can be loud, but they never work past the hours that AMLI has listed.

I work In the downtown area and Amli South Shore is conveniently on Riverside. It’s nice not to deal with major traffic. Major perks include being able to go in town without driving, the access to Lady Bird Lake and the boardwalk, and near restaurants. Yes. They are undergoing major construction and renovation but it is not as horrible as people make it seem. The leasing staff is amazing! The Assistant Manager, is always willing to help and super social when it comes down to resident events. The Community Manager, is super helpful as well. When there is a problem they have a solution. I’m sure the community will look amazing once it is all done.

Im really happy with the spot so far. The apartment is very nicely put together. Floors and furnishings are beautiful, appliances are new and work great, and I just really like my floorplan. People in the building are friendly.Troy and the front office are super friendly and have been helpful with everything from issues small to large, including coordinating mailing and delivery of several large pieces of flat-packed furniture.Some of the construction is disruptive. However, theyre delivering on their promises — for example, the new gym is excellent. Its in a noisier part of town being off Riverside, but I havent had any issues with neighbors or construction sounds.Access to every store imaginable to the south, access to the lake/jogging path, and a really nice, walkable string of retail and restaurants all make this a really nice place to live.

We stayed over here for a year and our overall experience was good. The leasing office team was very helpful at all times plus the maintenance team was responsive as well. The best part of staying over here was the easy access to the lady bird lake. The only part where we had issue was the parking. Lower level parking were full most of the time and the terrace parking didn’t had any sheds, so the car gets really hot during the summer. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay over here.

My mom moved to Austin this summer and I couldnt visit her right away. I used to live here before the rehab and everything was basically new again but my mom had come to see me two years ago and had to get help from the office finding my apartment. They were so nice to her she always talked about it so she went there first when she decided to move. The leasing employees are not the same but she was really happy about it and moved into one of the new apartments. I finally got to see her place and wow, its nice. I helped her with a package from the package room and she talked to the office. They were so pleasant and seemed genuine -- just how I remember. If I didnt have a house I would definitely move here again. Thanks for taking care of my mom!! And go to the 1618 restaurant -- its good!

Awesome place to live! Apartments are beautiful and recently renovated. Amenities are cleaned often making them more usable than other apartment Ive lived at. Really dog-friendly community but the outside areas, including the dog park (which my two dogs absolutely love), are poop-free and well-maintained. I love that the lake is directly behind the property and gives easy access to paddle boarding and the walking trail. The best part for me has been the proximity to several places to eat - 1618, Chilantro, Mod pizza, Pokeworks, Chipotle, Starbucks, and more are all within walking distance. Having HEB within a mile is extremely convenient. The leasing office (shout out to Kilish who has been very helpful and nice!) and maintenance team are very responsive - Ive had one maintenance request so far and it was taken care of within about 2 hours. Where im located, noise is occasionally annoying but its mostly from people going to the retail/restaurants near the leasing office (mostly 1618) but I never hear my neighbors. A security guard is out at night and seems to keep things a bit quieter and safer than they might otherwise be. Overall, been living here for about a month now and very, very happy with my choice to live at AMLI South Shore.

I have rarely seen a more professional and patient office staff at a community. I leased on line and then decided I wanted to see a few more floorplans as I might need more space. They took me to numerous apartments- even just so I could see the different interiors. I had already leased so they really did not need to go out of their way for me! They I changed apartments to a larger size- then changed it again! I was even feeling embarrassed to walk in the office and they were always so kind and friendly. I also want to add that I changed my move in date right before I was moving due to truck availability etc- and again- very patient and professional. I could not believe how nice they were, how efficient, upbeat and friendly! I would have been annoyed with me by that point!Suffice to say, my apartment is beautiful, the business center has been a lifesaver because I am a rep in the field and it really helps to be able to sit down and do everything at the same time. I have not had any connection issues with any services and am extremely pleased. I LOVE living here!

AMLI South Shore is a great place to live at! My floor plan was the A3a and the layout was ideal. The coat closet is very spacious. I like to be as minimal as possibly but it fits so much more than just coats. The kitchen is designed to show off the magnificent waterfall countertops. The bathroom and the walk-in closet are also spacious. The bathroom is accessible without having guest going in to the bedroom. My specific apartment was located right above the garage exit and it was a fit for me. It’s super close to the garage and I would walk just one flight of stairs to walk my dog along the scenic trail where she’d go crazy for the squirrels. I’ve loved paddle boarding for years and I had one in the storage downstairs. It made it so easy to have it there!1618 Asian Fusion is delicious! I’m a little embarrassed to say they know me and my order. I also go to Aloha Dental for my dental hygiene. Both are just downstairs. The proximity of this location to downtown was crucial for me because I used to work downtown. It was a quick 10-minute drive. My dog will miss walking along the trail or down the century-old oak trees along Lakeshore.Sadly, I work up north and have to move. I will truly miss AMLI South Shore and the team led by Jacob and Rusty. They’re always ready to greet and assist you. I already miss the community.Thank you AMLI South Shore!

Ive lived at AMLI South Shore for 2 years and just resigned another 1 year lease. This place is great. You cant beat the location - right on the LadyBird Trail. The amenities are unreal - access to a sky deck lounge with the best water front view of downtown - I love working remotely from up here. Walking distance to walgreens, chipotle, 7-11, starbucks - all your basic needs are met on one block! I even see the chiropractor and dentist downstairs. There is also a food truck park opening up this summer! This place is highly underrated and the staff are accommodating and responsive. Ive only had 2 maintenance issues in two years and they were both addressed in under 48 hours. I cant recommend this place enough!

My roommate and I have been living at AMLI for almost 3 years, and we still think its the best value for your money in the city. We moved here from out of state, which made picking the right part of town tricky, but after living in Austin for a while, we know we made the right choice.No apartment complex is going to be perfect, but the staff is always on top of resolving issues. The maintenance staff is impeccable! We have two large dogs who we dont keep in kennels, and the guys will walk right in and pet them like theyre family. If youre a dog owner, you know how nice (and rare) that is. I mainly see Stephanie and Liz in the front office, and theyre always so helpful! Its nice to live in a place where people seem to really value the relationship with the residents. We have events all the time, which have been a great way to meet people in the complex. I even met my boyfriend here so.. this place has worked out really well for me!The construction takes some getting used to, no doubt. I overlook one of the pools and work from home, so there were a couple of jackhammer days that I would have loved to do without. However, I challenge anybody to find a part of Austin where construction isnt an issue right now. The worst of it is almost over, one of the pools has already reopened, and everything was communicated in email far before construction started. If you dont work from home, your only issue should be entering and exiting the complex - dont drive fast, and watch for large construction vehicles. To be only a $5 Uber/Lyft ride from downtown, I personally think that the inconveniences are worth it.

I have been living at the complex for a few months now and the experience has been great. The staff has been extremely helpful and professional. This is why I love this place:1. The large pool is a great size and the staff has promised they will install a new grill for the summer! The small pool is nice for lounging too, the larger one is typically more social.2. I have a dog so the dog wash station and the dog park have been great. Also the complex backs right up to the Town Lake trail so long walks along the river with the city in the background is one of my favorite things to do.3. The Sky Lounge has an amazing view. I was honestly sold on the idea of the complex before they even toured me to the Lounge, but the views!! So great. They have these adorable cabanas up there that I am constantly boozing under with friends.4. They keep throwing free events and giving us discounts to local restaurants / services. We had a crayfish boil a few weeks ago, painting lessons on the Sky Lounge, free doughnuts... every month there are a few free events. Also, Amli has discounts at many local restaurants. Its a little know secret that you can get a free chips and queso at the Baby As across the street if you show them your Amli Perks card (every time you go, its not even a 1 and done deal). They also have monthly Amli Perks that they email you about, I got my car washed for free one month.5. They gym is convenient. Honestly for such a large complex, I thought the gym would be more crowded, but its not. I use the free weights a lot and theyre never being used. There may be 3 people or so in the gym at a time.6. Ive never had a package room before, but I love it. They just send you an email and a text letting you know that your package has arrived and include a package code. You go to the package room whenever you want (its open 24/7), enter your code, and get your package!Great job, Amli!

However, the front office and maintenance teams at Amli bend over backwards to help their residents. Time and time again they have gone above the call of duty for me. Despite battling with unforeseen circumstances, they always have a positive attitude, treating me with respect and kindness. The construction is difficult to ignore, but looking past that, my experience has been exceptional renting here. This is all thanks to their hard-working employees. Looking around Austin as it quickly grows, construction is easy to find anywhere. Quality management like this is not.

I was hunting for an awesome new place to live in Austin and I think I found it! Not only did Courtney give an outstanding tour, the staff there was very warm and welcoming. They were very professional and answered all the questions I had with no hesitation. The location is pretty amazing as well, if you want to be close to lady bird lake and just a few minutes away from downtown its pretty perfect. Definitely would recommend checking this place out, you wont regret it.

If you are looking to live somewhere with great access to the river and beautiful apartment upgrades AMLI Southshore doesn’t disappoint. The new Property Manager and team have been amazing with answering/solving any questions or concerns I’ve had. Couldn’t recommend a better place.

Stephanie, Troy, Liz, Ana and the entire staff are all very responsive and helpful in any situation. Beyond that, the apartments themselves and the amenities are great. The location can’t be beat. Hi,This is my first google review ever so that’s saying something about this place . I’ve been through some bad apartment situations and this place like heaven (not even religious) . I know people on here are extremely entitled leaving bad reviews but Amli has always had my back gone the extra mile . I’ve lived her for two years and I’m positive we’re going live here for many years to come . I understand the construction is very frustrating but I am pumped for the new and improved amenities. I’m optimistic that when all the renovations are done it’s going to be amazing . (Frodo had to take ring all the way to Mordor before the shire was saved!)Danny In building services is like the Gandalf of this place and I would trust him with my life he has fixed problems in my apartment for years that man could fix a broken marriage. Literally can’t be more helpful and trustworthy. Give him a raise .Troy is so kind and willing to help you with anything possible it’s like he trives off of it. I needed to get a package that I forgot to pick up a package in Luxor and it was a minute before close and he helped me get what I needed and wasn’t rushed at all. It’s the little things that count like that. Also he never hesitates to make a copy and sign a check for us ( I know we still pay old school )Honestly everyone in the office is legit Ana and Robert too they have taken care of us when thing weren’t going right . Also they communicate to the residents like crazy check your email people ! Also go eat them waffles down there and get to know them people they’re here to help .I would recommend anyone to live here (As long as they aren’t jamming Maroon 5 or Drake at the pool )

After the new apartment renovations, this place looks amazing. The location is great as it’s close to many restaurants and right off the trail to the river. The people in the office are always accommodating and polite. When it’s time to move from my current place, this will be my first choice to move to!
