    Ive been living at these apartments for a while now, and I have to say, its been a nice experience. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the best spots in Austin. The management team is always responsive and helpful, making sure any issues are resolved quickly. The community here is friendly. Overall, I couldnt be happier with my decision to live here!

    I’ve lived here for a few years, and have been really happy here—especially since Mill Creek took over. Frankly I was skeptical about the prospect of new corporate overlords, but I have been pleasantly surprised.The staff (especially Cristy, Brittany, Stephen, Abraham) have been super friendly and responsive, and they make a genuine effort to make this a nice place to live. They take care of maintenance requests quickly, deal with problematic neighbors in fair and empathetic way, and put time and money into organizing community events.If you’re looking for a nice place in Sunset Valley, this place is definitely worth bookmarking!PROS: staff, gym, pool, hiking trails, trash valet, proximity to HEB and other bars/restaurants/cafesCONS: fetch (no longer required it seems), front gate is unreliable, traffic on Brodie, older fixtures/appliances

    I’ve been here for about a year and a half now and although it’s been a lot of changes I truly enjoy this community! Love all the events that take place allowing us to socialize, laugh and bond with neighbors. Love the new updates to the units and appreciate the office staff and management team for always being willing to work with me and handle any needs I may have. Great complex!! Gym is awesome! Basketball court is awesome! Pool area is awesome!!

    Ive lived here for almost 5 years and I love it. Its quiet, dog friendly and most of the amenities have been recently upgraded. The property is on the green belt and theres HEB and many shops within a 1 mile radius. I really enjoy this community!

    WONDERFUL COMMUNITY.I am so impressed with everything about this community, most importantly the management and staff. They are kind, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking, and committed to the highest quality standards. The buildings are well constructed and maintained. The lcoation is close to shopping and transportation. Lovely POOL and GYM are all in great shape. I highly recommend Alister Sunset Valley for your next apartment home.

    The office is SO helpful, and maintenance is very prompt. Honestly, I haven’t found a better apartment complex in south Austin after thorough tours before living here. Gym is awesome and the whole place is super family friendly.

    I moved here in October of 2022 and love the location close to freeways, across the street from HEB and near Costco but have REALLY appreciated the recent updates in paint and lighting that Alister (new owner since I moved in) has invested in the complex. Also, its a quiet community.

    I’ve been here about 8 months and absolutely love it here. Christi and her team have always been so great and helpful. The maintenance team is great and quick to fix things. I also want to give Brittany a shoutout she’s so sweet.

    Despite all the glowing reviews about the previous management I had the exact opposite experience. Upon moving in, nothing was ready. No hot water, no tubes for the washer and dryer, missing buttons on appliances, and whole bunch of other small issues. Towing was heavily enforced for the smallest reasons. Car break in’s were a regular occurance because of how often they left our gates open and broken. My AC vents kept leaking and I put different 4 maintenance requests and many emails yet nothing got done. They always kept saying it was because I was on the third floor so my AC was working overtime, but being a regular 3rd floor tenant I found that total baloney! The AC was just old! Then they tried to raise our rent by $400!!! Thats when I knew I had to leave.The moment I decided not the renew my lease was coincidentally when new management took over. I let them know about the AC issue and it took them less than a week to find the leak and properly patch it up, in addition to providing me with a brand new AC. They were incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the move out process. Also our gates stay closed and working! Coincidentally no ones cars got broken into the entire time, imagine that! One of the employees also explained that the last management just left them high and dry about a lot of information and issues. That seemed pretty on par for The Park so I can empathize with how they might be having trouble getting into the groove of things. Genuinely hoping for the best with the project that was left on them.I know they’re working as hard as they can!

    I have lived here for 11yrs and I love the location. Whenever Ive had problems or repairs that are needed, staff responds quickly. A new company has purchased the complex recently and updates with air conditioning, new appliances and painting of the whole complex has begun. Thank you Alister at Sunset Valley.

    Love the amenities and maintenance staff responds very quickly to any issues and they are very communicative when fixing things and keeping me updated.Also, the trails that connect to the complex are so vast. I’ve spent countless hours in the greenbelt back there!

    Highly recommend living here. The front office staff is amazing (especially Cristy)! Maintenance is super easy to work with and theyre very considerate with my dogs and scheduling. Wonderful amenities and near by walking trails. Very nice and home feeling community.

    I moved in at the end of December and love my new place. It is so clean and inviting and the staff meets all your needs immediately.5 years later and new management I will be leaving once my lease is up. Not same type of care taken with concerns. Basically dismissed or ignored. Smoking increasingly huge problem and told not much they can do. I definitely understand if that is the case it is after all their property but will not work for me going forward.

    I lived here for a year and have nothing but compliments for the management and maintenance crew. All maintenance requests were answered promptly and fixed adequately. The amenities are beautiful and well maintained. The front desk is very responsive through the move-in process and afterwards. The only downside is the lack of security. The property is not fully protected by gates and the front gates are often malfunctioning, leaving personal property (especially vehicles) at risk. This is more a product of the location of the complex than the fault of the management.

    All of these 5 stars are for Tonya!!! My boyfriend and I visited for a tour and Tonya was awesome. She told us everything we wanted to know, and was kind and honest about the questions we did have.We would’ve leased that day, if they had the apartment we looked at on a lower floor. Hopefully there will be something that opens up soon!It seems like they really care about their residents, and I’ve looked at several other apartments in Austin, and I can’t say that for most.

    Good location, plenty of nearby stores and access to main highways, well maintained gardens, pool and gym, direct access to green belt and a sand Volleyball court.They are now painting and renewing a lot of things.

    This is one of the best apartments out there in South Austin. Very convenient location on Brodie lane. Every possible restaurant and store is within a 2 mile radius. The maintenance team is quick and the office is well managed. The common area has a decent pool and a nice gym. The rent is also decent compared to other apartments in the area. The floorplan I was in was on ground floor and had an attached garage which made the rent way more worth it. The community is beautiful and I would never leave it had I not bought my own home. Best apartment out there. Definitely must rent here. I cannot think of a single problem in my 2 years I spent here. Maybe they could have more visitor parking spots but the fact that they are clearly marked separately is good enough in my opinion. Move in and move out both were a breeze and I wasn’t charged anything extra or unnecessarily.

    I just recently became a resident of Austin and a member of The Park on Brodie Lane and I could not be happier with my new home! From the helpfulness of the staff within the office, to maintenance and all of my fellow neighbors it has been a very nice welcome! I feel very safe within the complex and have really enjoyed living here even with it just being for a short time. From the amenities for humans such as the gym and pool, to the ones for our furry friends - the dog park, this place has it all! The complex is in such an ideal location to the local grocery store being directly across the street, to many other department stores and restaurants just moments down the street.     The Leasing Office staff makes this place amazing. Ive lived in many apartment communities around Austin, and this is truly what sets The Park On Brodie apart from the rest. Carla, Kelly an Leigh Ann are terrific people. From iffy interactions with other tenants to my anxious self calling to double and triple check things, they have been kind, courteous and have worked every step of the way to ensure that I have a terrific experience living here. Ive never lived anywhere else where the staff know your name, come to you just to say hi and check in, and are so attentive to you as a person and a resident. Im currently renewing for my third lease, and have been offered a TV mount, Spackle, etc etc. This is truly a community run by a group of people who care. And it shows.In addition, the abundance of nature trails LITERALLY connected to the back of the complex make this a nature-lovers dream come true. Dog-friendly with a well-kept dog-park, friendly residents and a pool that is truly cared for. The rent is fair for the area it is in and the units are well-furnished and looked after. Cannot recommend this community enough!

    Second year tenants. Management genuinely cares about the property and their residents. Maintenance is on point and any issues are handled promptly. Its really a community and not just a place to live. You pay a premium being on the south side of the city and close to downtown. However, between the dog park, fenced ground floor units, vaulted ceiling 3rd floor units, forest views, and quick access to hiking trails, this place really is a home. Hoping to stay at The Park for a while.

    Just moved into this apartment complex. Everyone in the front office has been great. Really made me feel like I was home and was one of the major reasons I chose to move in. A few little things still need to be done with the apartment because of the quick turn around, and theyve been on top of everything. Walked me through any and all questions I had about some of the details.Awesome looking pool though its turned cold outside and I havent been able to utilize it yet. But I will! =) Outdoor kitchen area looks like its going to be fun next summer as well. Biggest gym Ive seen in an apartment complex. They actually have free weights!Cant say enough good things about my short time here. Plan on staying for a long time.

    We are moving out in less than 3 weeks. Not because we don’t like the apartments but because we are leaving the state. We havnt always been happy with maintenance during Covid but after this last week and how The Park on Brodie has has taken care of their Community and tenants through this winter storm, I would recommend everyone I know to this complex. They provided water options for tenants when tenants didn’t have it, they provided a warm shower for tenants that were still without water, they made sure they were available as water came back on to be sure there was minimal damage to ours and their property. There was a fire on the property one of the first days and they jumped to rehome the misplaced, and kept all of the tenants up to date daily and sometimes a couple times a day. I have heard horror stories from other apartment tenants and am blessed to be living at a complex that has taken care of their tenants like The Park did during this winter storm in 2021We just moved in here and the office and maintenance has been on top of making our welcome amazing! There was not much that needed to be repaired. The community is quiet and clean. We love it!

    This has been one of the best properties Ive lived at and is near quite literally everything you could think of. & yes, this is a real review from a real resident.- Parking is great- Walls are insulated and I NEVER hear neighbors- Clean Property-Safe- Property management is professional and one of the best I have ever come across.

    Ive lived in about 6 apartments in Austin before and River Oaks is the best. The location is excellent, with walking to major shopping stores and is close to just about everything that is great about Austin (restaurants, hiking, downtown, stores, etc...). The staff is also top notch with everything they do. None of the other apartments I lived at offered free breakfast every Saturday. The apartments themselves are also very nice, kept in great condition and have great floor plans to choose from. They have one of the nicest gyms I have ever seen at an apartment complex before, as well as a great and relaxing pool and outdoor fire pit (which I never saw before either).I cant saw enough good things about River Oaks and am glad to be a resident there and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great apartment, at a great location in Austin.

I would totally recommend it.They have great floor plan and as a dog owner its a great dog friendly community.The residents and the management staff are great.The people in the office (Natalie, Brittany and Jessica) and the maintenance crew (Jason) are very helpful and provide a great service.I would recommend this place for great service, good community and fair pricing.

    Been living at the Park for a little over a year now, renewed lease for another six months and we love it, you sometimes forget you live in Austin with all of this nature around! Restaurants, banks and shopping centers are within a five minute drive! Managements always willing to help you with any concerns and maintenance responds to your tickets within 24 hours!!! To those complaining about parking, sounds like you don’t live here and your “friends” didn’t care to warn you. It’s very clear that you need to use visitors parking or you will be towed. There’s way too many signs for you to ignore them. The pool area is wonderful, the gym is nice and the basketball court is great!

    My experience at the Park on Brodie thus far has been wonderful. I moved in a little over two weeks ago and I do not have a single complaint. I was worried about road noise, I dont hear a thing. The upgrades like having crown molding makes it feel like a house. What impressed me the most is the staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I am lucky to call this my new home.

    Ive lived at River Oaks Apartments for the past three years and transferred between apartments within the complex. The office staff (although their has been transition on the team) has always been extremely accommodating with any questions I had, and quick to respond to me, no matter how little or small the concern might be. Customer Service goes a long way with me, and the office staff has done nothing but set the bar higher for future communities in which I decide to live.The location of this apartment is also ideal as you are right across the street from HEB, and within a half of mile of great shopping, as well as a Golds Gym and 24 Hour Fitness. There are also good restaurants including Chuys, Whole Foods and Kerbey Lane within a mile from the complex.All and all, I highly recommend this community!

    I recently moved out of River Oaks due to an employment change. I had a pleasant experience and never had any problems. As long as you are a good resident and do what is expected you shouldnt have a problem.The pros: Good location, Great staff, Clean with great maintenance, Fair floorplan with great amenities, Very nice pool area and nice gym, Close to shopping and groceriesThe cons: Price increase (out of their hands, Austin = low supply and large demand), Traffic along Brodie ln. during the weekends, About a $30 cab ride from downtown.Overall an excellent experience. Everything you would expect from a nice apartment complex. The rates are always going to increase and unfortunately Austin is growing like crazy so the rates are drastically increasing.

    These are great apartments. Benefits:- cool location: many services are only one step away so you can reach them of foot: HEB, pharmacy, cafe and restaurants- simple access to public transit- free parking (there are also covered parking lots and garages but you need to pay for them)- pool area (lounge, bbq, pool, sport room)- volleyball and basketball fields- pets park- hammock =)and many more cool things! I live here and really like that stuff.Regular services are also good: pool cleaning, outdoor works, quick response to maintenance requests.I may not be good in comparing places as it is my first place in Austin, but this one is really good!

    I figured I would just copy and paste what I put on yelp:I have lived in Austin for 6 years and finally chose to move out of my recent apartment to this wonderful community. I can say after working in the industry, living somewhere else for so long and then moving.. that I can see the difference on the building of the complex, customer service and amenities. I live on the 2nd floor (first in a longgg time) and I barely ever here my neighbors above me. I maybe hear them take a shower (water through pipes) or doing laundry.. but on the whole I feel like I am on the 3rd floor. My view is of trees and other peoples yards.. which isnt bad.. the only thing I dont care for is the light on the building right outside my apartment.. I never truly have pitch black like I was used too.. BUT I can install curtains in my room to help with the light in my bedroom. My dogs love sitting by the balcony doors and barking through the glass at the dogs in the yard down below us.. its very 101 Dalmatians communication haha.. I do wonder what they talk about??Anywho, the community on the whole is quiet, everyone seems to have a dog, the kitchens (2x2) are huge and they have plenty of garages if you need extra space. They keep the property clean, and always around if you have a question. Took me about a week and a half to adjust do my new surroundings.. but I am definitely starting to feel more at home every day. My dogs love it for the dog park and the trails in the back of the community. OH the gym is big (wahoo!) and the pool/outdoor area is very nice. Since i havent been here through the summer yet then I dont know what its like.. but I will update my review in a year once i know. I can say for the price ($1345+ garage) the square footage and quality of apartment is worth it. Please come check this place out! Worth a look :)

    I LOVE The Park on Brodie! The apartments are so nice but so affordable at the same time! The people are great, so kind and welcoming, much better than our last PM. My favorite part would have to be the dog park and walking trails, my little fur babies love to run and play!

    Our family is new to the property; and I keep wondering when the issues will start. We moved from our old property where we lived for eight years(and put up with ALOT of problems). I am overjoyed with our new home here at River Oaks. Everything is just as they promised during leasing. All of our new move in repair requests have been completed to my fullest satisfaction. The summer is upon and i am looking forward to using the basketball court, volley ball court and the lounge pool. If your old Austin looking to get just outside of downtown, I would highly suggest giving River Oaks a visit.

    The Park on Brodie Lane---what I called the PoBIE---for the 13 mos. I stayed there was amazing...annnnnnd, wait for it....this was 2020 the Covid Cloister. So I can only imagine that I would have had more fun if $#!+ hadnt gotten locked down for a few months there. But the location for the PoBIE is amazing, the HEB (grocery et al.) is right across the street and meets all your needs! The staff is super friendly, most importantly Carla! Shes the best. Hopefully rent isnt too high there these days...I paid $1200 a month for 1bed/1bath that year...

    This apt complex has been a really fun place to live. I normally dont have any issues here but recently I noticed the lights were out around my building. I mentioned it to the maintenance guy Jason when I was leaving one Saturday afternoon to run errands. Since it was a Saturday, I assumed he was off & just on the property for an emergency call & that he would get them replaced on Monday. By the time I came back he had already replaced all the lights & was double checking them to make sure they were all working. I was only gone for maybe a hour & half. Thats insane service.

    If you desire hassle free living, then this is the place. I have a 1/1 with a balcony--I truly enjoy it!! Access to all I require--shopping, restaurants, drug stores gas, car wash, banks--all close at hand by walking, biking or driving; and super close to Mopac, 71 & 290. Had a few maintenance requirements that were taken care of in less than 48 hours. Mail is also hassle free along with convenient package pickups at the office.

    Cute and roomy apartment! Beautiful community with lil extras, like the yoga studio nature areas, and hammocks near the pool area. The only downside is the small amount of visitor parking, which gets filled quickly!

    River Oaks is far and away the best complex Ive ever lived at. Coming from San Diego, where the staff and management dont care if you go or stay, its refreshing to have people that not only care about your interests and needs, but go above and beyond to make sure that you are accommodated at all times. I can honestly say I have had all of my needs met since moving to this complex and I recommend anyone who is considering this area to look at River Oaks FIRST!

    Great location! Nice and quite place. Management and staff Miranda and Pearl are willing to work with you. Maintenance guys are great. I love my patio with lots of trees. Big space and cozy!

    The Park on Brodie Lane is a first class community. Carla, our Leasing Consultant, was extremely proficient and professional. She took the time to answer all of our questions with ease and assisted us throughout the application/approval process. She was on top of everything!!
