    I truly enjoyed living here. The building was always clean, and my only complaint are the elevators. For a downtown high rise, elevators are an essential and only have one running takes forever. I also wanted to acknowledge how helpful Hakeem always was whenever I would go downstairs. Hes so kind, welcoming, and always knew where my package were. Levant was also very helpful whenever I needed anything like sending out packages, reserving amenities, etc.

    Living at Alexan Waterloo for the past year has been a fantastic experience. The leasing office staff is exceptionally helpful, promptly addressing all our inquiries. The concierge, Lavant, truly stands out with his friendly demeanor, making residents feel welcomed.One of the highlights of living here is the golf simulator, which allows me to practice as much as I want. Itā€™s a great way to hone my skills without having to leave the comfort of home. The amenities are impressive overall, including a rooftop pool and fitness center, enhancing our lifestyle.The location is ideal, close to downtown attractions without the noise. Alexan Waterloo is such a great place to live that we have resigned our lease!

    Bryan gave me and my boyfriend a wonderful tour around the complex this week! This place is so beautiful and has so many wonderful amenities. The rooftop pool view is breathtaking and I love the floor to ceiling windows in the gym and the apartments. Also having a 24hr concierge is so convenient. One thing I donā€™t like about my current apartment complex is that anytime I DoorDash food I have to leave my apartment and walk all the way outside and get it from them because theyā€™re not able to come to my door after office hours. Iā€™m glad thereā€™s a 24hr concierge here to let them up the elevator (he was very nice as well). Iā€™m excited to most likely end up making this place my new home! :)

    I moved in at the end of June last year. My move in was delayed because of the hanover takeover, which was a little frustrating. Overall, the professionalism of the staff is great. Dulla especially is really helpful always and goes out of his way to make sure i get what I need. The 30th floorĀ amenitiesĀ are beautiful! Itā€™s a new building, which is nice, but i can tell that the contractors did a rushed job. Itā€™s not a big deal, but i always notice stuff like that. Overall, i am happy with my decision to live here.Thank you, Dulla and the office team

    I have to say, the first TWO words that come to my mind after experiencing Brians tour is YES! and WOW!!!Yes to the relief I felt with Brians punctuality and gracious demeanor. This kid is going places because he listens intently and embodies the epitome of who you would want as a leasing agent. These are huge decisions we are making when we are shopping whats available in such a competitive market.As far as Im concerned he has sold me on my decision.Now to the meat of the review. In a nutshell, this place is stunning. From the floors which are impeccably crafted throughout the lobby and on the sky floor to the placement and colors chosen to accent the beauty of the view of Austin. The Alexan seems to have it all. The lobby is spacious with several different nooks and crannies to discover. The amenities are more than one requires but not too much as you would miss them if just one was taken out.I will be looking in a few other properties but this has been a great experience and like I said starting this review, Brian seals the deal thank you Brian and hopefully I will be the calling Alexan home

    As a resident, I love this facility. Its not just the rooftop pool and deck which is *the* best in Austin but also all the artwork all over the building.And a shoutout to their fantastic concierge team. Lavant is so friendly, helpful and goes out of his way to offer assistance.

    Iā€™ve been living in this building for a while now, and I have to say, all of the concierges here are great, especially Lavant and Hakim who are the true MVPs. They consistently go above and beyond to make life easier for all of us.Both are incredibly cordial and professional, always greeting residents with a warm smile. What amazes me is how they somehow remember everyoneā€™s name, apartment number, and even small details about us.Theyā€™re always ready to help, whether itā€™s assisting with guests, coordinating deliveries, or handling any unexpected issues with ease. Itā€™s clear they genuinely care about making our experience here the best it can be.Lavant and Hakim arenā€™t just great at their jobsā€”theyā€™re a big part of what makes this building feel like home. Huge thanks to them for all they do!

    Beautiful property and great staff :) I dont reside at Alexan, but I had a chance to view the property and lucked up on a kind & warm spirited leasing agent. She welcomed me with open arms upon my arrival and made me feel right at home. The building is GORGEOUS, from the apartments to the amenities. I highly recommend it!

    We have lived in here for almost a year now and have nothing but great things to say. Amber (the leasing manager) has been incredibly responsive and helpful with whatever we need. Maintenance (especially Doula) has been quick to respond to requests and the concierge team (namely Hakeem) is always so friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of.I have lived in dozens of apartments and this has been the best experience I have ever had.

    I absolutely LOVE the leasingĀ teamĀ here at alexan waterloo! Lenny, Michael, and devin are AMAZGING! Their maintenance Supervisor Dulla is not your ordinary handyman - hes always ready and willing to assist residents however he can. Hes a ball of positive energy and seems to always be in a great mood! I love how they operate as a family. Everyone is very eager to assist, and anytime I come to visit, I am greeted with smiles and warm genuine hellos! Amazing location, highly recommended.

    What can I say I move quite often and the staff and management team made this such an easy move. It usually isnā€™t always an easy transition but Lenny one of the property managers was amazing very accommodating and the maintenance manager Sallak was equally amazing. Both made a stressful move and situation so much better. Very genuine and so helpful.     If I could, I would give this building a 10 star review. Helped a friend move in a year ago, and i didnt like the place that much. But I have since been back and I must say the place is looking GOOOOOOOD. I was told the building has come under new management, and I could already see the difference. Hats off to the management team, everyone in the front and back end, and especially the tents for taking pride in their community. Love what dulla and the maintenance team have been doing with the garage, pool, and trash area. Building is looking good and smelling great. The speakeasy has my heart. Wish you all the best of luck and all the success you strive for.

    I moved into the Alexan Waterloo 1 month ago from another Hanover Property and I really appreciate how attentive their entire team is to the tenant needs. Hanover should really look to the staff at this property as they set an extremely high bar in hospitality. Communication, Friendliness, Pro Active Updates, Cleanliness, Concierge Staff, etc have been absolutely fantastic so far.Emily was my leasing agent and she went out of her way to squeeze me in for an appointment and then made sure the apartment was in top shape for moving in.Amenities spaces are always in good shape, the staff actually enforce rules at the pool (all other places I have lived have rules that are NEVER enforced, which lead to massive overcrowding and a frat style atmosphere).If you want to move into a complex that is more catered towards adults than young social media influencers then this place is definitely an amazing find. Much more mature tenants and staff.

    Awesome!! Well kept and beautiful. Great amenities and fun team! Have lived in a lot of places and donā€™t think Iā€™ll move til Iā€™m ready for a house.     This buildings exterior lights kill more migratory birds than any other building in the city. Residents surrounding this building have a nightly headache from the horrible COLD white LEDs at full blast 24/7. This buildings management is obviously really stupid. How is the City of Austin allowing this? Probably should be reported to 311. (UPDATED: The building has fixed the issue with the super bright lighting, Thank you so much!)

    Such a beautiful property, great amenities and pretty finishes! Plus they have a speakeasy?! I have not heard that in an apartment community before, so cool!     Im thrilled with the building, the tour and the hospitality from Bryan and Kim. There were some hiccups when I wanted to upgrade from a 1BR to a 2BR unit, but Bryan and Kim were really accommodating and patient with me.     Lived here for 15 months and it was a positive experience. Definitely an older/family-oriented building. They did a very good job insulating the I-35 noise but you do notice it at night. I got used to it but its around 35-40 decibels all the time (free white noise?)Pros: Doorman, Safe, Quiet, good amenities, assigned parking, nice units.Cons: All the apartment walls are angled and have large pillars in them, very limited guest parking (smallest spots I have ever seen), they charge you for everything ( high $$ community fee, expensive parking) and basically implied that you dont get your security deposit back. Also no food in the nearby area but not their fault.They either sold/switched management in June 2023. New company (Hanover) added a doorman but the customer service/responsiveness got noticably worse as well.

    Ill be turning in my keys today after calling the Alexan home for a year, and I have to say Im REALLY going to miss the place. In terms of apartments, it was the best experience I ever had. From the thoughtful design touches in the units (wait til you see the built-in closets) to an amenities floor that is very hard to beat, there were so many reasons I loved calling the Alexan home. I really cant recommend it strongly enough. Across two different management companies, the staff remained super-attentive and lovely to work with.

    Great place and awesome amenities. Location is solid and build quality is good as you can not hear outside noise. The property management hanover team is doing a great in building the community and being proactive about events and service. Extra kudos to the Concierge team!     The building changed management to Hanover last week and wow what a difference already. From cleaning the common areas, to communication of fixes, and even adding some resident perks, we are very happy to see the change. We wouldve moved out at the end of our lease if things did not change - we are very excited!

She was the most helpful and caring leasing agent that I have worked with even when dealing with difficult residents or management.     I want to give a huge shout out to the Hanouver Team. Prior to Hanouver, the property was trash af, dirty and didnā€™t have any order what so ever.They have come in and amended so many issues that were destroying the building. Maintenance is A1 and handles things in a timely manner and the leasing team is very approachable and accommodating for any need that may arise.Hate I had to move upon them taking over the property but they were great to have.

    The staff is incredibly friendly and personable and there to help with anything you may need. Location is awesome, I walk through downtown everyday with a super easy commute. The building is gorgeous full of beautiful designs and a cafe with a wine cellar. My apartment came with a sauna shower & bluetooth speakers, and a beautiful view of downtown all for a fair price.

    I had tour of the apartment complex this past week with Michaela. In the past 12 years of looking at complex after complex, no tour compares to hers. The Alexan Waterloo was extremely easy to locate and there was tons of parking which is very rare for a downtown building. Their friendly staff showed me state of the art amenities including many conference rooms, coffee bar, pet spa and park, and gym. However, itā€™s the rooftop pool and patio that closes the deal. You can see the entire city from its location on the 30th floor. Its luxurious to say the least and itā€™s the ultimate spot if you have friends or family in town. If youā€™re ever interested in a great location at an affordable downtown price, ask for Michaela. You wonā€™t be disappointed or be even be tempted to look elsewhere.
