The Lorimer and it’s staff have been nothing but welcoming! The leasing process was easy and the staff answers quickly even when you leave voicemails. The housing spots themselves are nice/spacious, and the apartment complex is also in a very convenient spot! Excited to live here next year!!!

I’ve lived here for almost three years (non consecutive)! I truly recommend living here if you’re looking for an apartment near UNT. It just a ten minute walk to the union (more or less) and it’s really convenient.Ever since the new takeover, Staff is very nice and welcoming, Quick to answer questions or fix any issues you might have.

It’s my second year living here, and I’ve renewed for my third!I love living here I’ve gotten used to my room, I love the nice big window and I get a nice view of the sunset every day.I will say that the upkeep of the apartment has been lacking this year, they frequently cleaned the halls, floors, and elevator last year which I really appreciated. I think it would also be beneficial to do some tree trimming every once in a while. The one outside my window is beautiful but it has grown a lot since I moved in and scratches against my window very loudly.The new renovations to the club house are really nice. However, I would like to see some updates to the actual units. Perhaps installing a deeper and modern kitchen sink with a detachable hose sprayer.Overall though, I have enjoyed my time here!

I’ve been here for about two years, and about to renew for my third. I enjoy living here, it’s super close to campus and the rent is a lot cheaper than most student apartments. Though maintenance response may be slow, they do fix problems that you put in a request for - it just might take a while. The office staff are super helpful whenever you encounter a problem. Definitely recommend for any UNT students looking for a close place to live!

Ya’ll this apartment is amazing. Has everything I could have ever wanted and has even made more upgrades this year. From the clubhouse to the comfy study rooms. I moved into 33 north almost 2 months ago and the apartment has been great. I had 3 issues the minute I walked in with my shower water not working for a whole month, my bathroom door didnt lock, and some kitchen outlets didnt work. The workers have helped a lot but i feel they didnt try to clean up and didnt check any issues before I moved in. The parking in a lil tight and annoying but everything else is great

Read this for an HONEST review!!!As an ex employee and someone who lived there for 3 years a lot of these reviews are just by people who lack more than a few brain cells. I lived in 3 different apartments during my stay there ( first second and third floor) and I have NEVER had an ant or roach infestation. Most of the comments saying they had either of those are DIRTY. Everyone knows ants and roaches are attracted to dirt. I have been in almost every single apartment since I worked there and a lot of the residents are disgusting.Also it’s student housing not a conventional apartment. Student housing is basically an off campus dorm. Cheaper than the dorms, less rules, similar furniture. The cleaning that we do is the same as the dorms and I have had roaches ants geckos etc in my dorm so this is definitely a step up. The property upkeep is something the office staff and maintenance work on but with residents letting their pets pee and poop in hallways and elevators and people putting gum on walls it’s hard to keep clean so it’s not us it’s y’all please do better.Maintenance is not slow due to any reason other than needing parts and if we don’t have the part we can’t fix it and that’s that! Waiting for a part to come in is the longest thing. Almost every time something needs to be purchased they have to request approval, have it purchased, shipped, then installed. And if you tell at someone and treat them like crap that’s not going to make them want to help you.The only reason I moved out and left my job was to move back home other than that I could have seen myself at 33North for a long time regardless of the crazy residents some residents make it worthwhile.I definitely think most of the people leaving reviews either A. Had a bad rare experience or B. Just love to complain. The office cannot help if you don’t tell them the issue. Leaving a review after the fact doesn’t help. Definitely make use of your resources and your experience there will be fine ex: pest control!This is one of the best student housing apartments I’ve seen and been to unless you wanna pay twice the price or deal with dumpster fires. No tea no shade.

Pretty good! Close to campus, staff are nice, and I like my access to the gym (cause UNTs gym is wayyy too far for me to walk, lol). My only major issue is my wifi cuts out a lot, but its pretty manageable.

I lived here for 2 years, from August 2022 until July 2024.I wanted to leave an honest review so that prospective tenants can get an idea of how the living experience will be.Let me set the scene for you: I lived on the fourth floor, in a corner dwelling, in this hilarious triangle-shaped room that I was obsessed with. The view was of frat row, but the way the sunset hit was so beautiful. I loved sitting on my bed and gazing out the window in the evenings. The windows are big and the amount of light you get is great!My first year, I (afab) lived with three men. Management asked if I was cool with that beforehand, and I was. They were chill. No complaints. The next year, I had a totally swapped out cast of roommates, and no complaints again. My friend moved in that year, and we were able to tell the staff to put them in the same room as me during my second year, so we were able to be roomies. Very cool!Furniture is a bit on the dinky end, but if that doesnt bother you then youll be fine (didnt bother me, I had multiple friends sleep on that couch). I was honestly shocked by the lack of bugs my first year, because I really thought the dudes I lived with would bring them out lol. I saw more bugs my second year, but not often, and nothing that wasnt manageable.Some advice:I think this is because of the giant parking garage we live outside of, but I swear, no matter how many times I mopped the floor, it stayed a bit dirty. Get some slippers or flip flops to wear outside of your bedroom.For the two years I stayed at 33, the fire alarm broke at LEAST once per year. The first time, it woke us up at 5AM and didnt quit until around 7. That was rough. The second was a series of fire alarms throughout the afternoon. They both were because of faulty wires, as far as Im aware. Itll probably happen again in the coming year. Just be aware of it.If your smoke alarm keeps going off, PLEASE, for the LOVE of good things, use the VENT on the microwave. My roommate kept making it go off, and as soon as she turned on the vent, it stopped.Make sure you report any maintenance issues. Re-report them if you dont hear back, or even go to the office and badger them in person. The maintenance people were prompt for the most part. Our fridge actually stopped working in mid-August and it was like, pretty serious - and they fixed it that weekend!The staff in general were always nice and understanding. Shout out to them

By far the biggest selling point for me was the apartments proximity to the UNT campus. It makes commuting to classes a breeze, and I dont have to worry about parking on campus, which is a huge relief.Rooms feel pretty well-sized, and the other features such as gym and local printing station have become everyday use for me due to their super convenient locations. Only things I really had issues with was that maintenance can be rather slow, and the internet is somewhat inconsistent both in speed and sometimes losing connection altogether.For my first ever personal living situation, Id say this is really hard to compete with. The sheer convenience alone, both with access to nearby places, and getting to different amenities within the apartment itself stood out to me as a key reason why this is a great place to be.

It was a great experience! I loved living at 33, everyone was always so helpful and polite! It was a great first apartment! I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who goes to UNT! The location is great and very close to campus. I road my bike to class everyday. I will say that the new management is what made the place better. The management before was very poor and there were some issues, but with the new management almost all issues I had were resolved.

These apartments have become the absolute best for me! A whole new management team came in November and all of my issues have been resolved since the new team came on.I have had a bad ant problem in my kitchen for the longest of time and no matter how many times pest control came in to spray, they would still be there. After the switch of pest control companies, I haven’t had ANY pest control issue anymore!The front desk staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. For example I have accidentally locked myself out of my apartment a few times and when maintenance wasn’t in the office to help me right away, Ariana would go and open my door for me instead of having me wait for maintenance. Speaking of maintenance, they are AMAZING! They get to the work orders extremely fast and if there is any delay it is because they are ordering something to come in. My dishwasher stopped working and wouldn’t turn on and they tried to fix it first. After the second try they decided to order me a brand new dishwasher, which of course took a couple of days to get in, and installed it the same day it got to the office. They were extremely helpful and always kept me updated on the status of the work order even if it was small.I 100% recommend this complex to all of my friends because the new staff, management, and maintenance have made the rest of my stay here great.

The staff are polite, the maintenance guys are super cool, and the apartment itself is nice for a college apartment, but there have been quite a few issues that likely come from terrible management (which has just changed as of Oct 2023, so Ill let yall know).There used to be fire alarms that would randomly go off at 3am for several hours with no communication and no resolution. They also used to not change the trash dumpsters often enough, which would clog up the trash chutes, so they would just send us an email not to use the trash chutes and to carry our trash outside.—Oct 2023 update: With the latest management I find a lot of these issues have improved. However, the management has just changed again so Ill let yall know how that goes!—Jan 2024 update: the new management has been much better, so far. Some water pipes busted due to the cold, causing fire alarms again, but they only lasted for 45ish minutes and they actually communicated to us via email what the issue was as well as an apology for the inconvenience. The trash has been tidy as well, too. And they just repainted the hallways. Also they gave us red bulls on our doors, I think to either apologize for the fire alarms or to celebrate the new semester. Either way I feel a lot more heard/cared for!

The staff here has been super helpful in every way! The apartment is pretty good, though due to dents and stains on some walls its clear to see past occupants lived here. Some problems we had with out apartment specifically, the linen closet is torn up, the laundry room door handles were not screwed in, the sink doesnt drain like it should, the water pressure is low in the showers, we have to set the dishwasher on high every time or it will barely wash the dishes, the chair for the living room was outside when we moved in because of how old and gross its become, and the elevator (when its actually working) is very slow. The good things I would say is the furniture is actually very nice, garage parking is great, the appliances besides the dishwasher work great, pantry has lots of space (but no light so its hard to see inside), and the bathroom and closets are surprisingly large. We havent had any serious problems living here and its been good so far!

I live on the first floor here at 33 Degrees North and this has been a great living situation/experience overall for myself. I love the high ceilings and the floors. The staff is super friendly and willing to work with you as long as you communicate with them first. They also throw a bunch of community events together, and they do a really good job of getting people together to have fun.I definitely recommend living here, especially if you can get on the first floor. It is definitely worth it also since it is so close to campus.

Not to mention the office is always having events with FREE food! The layout and amenities are 10/10. The location is walking distance from campus which makes it all easier to attend class. I love the rooms , super awesome modern style rooms. I think the kitchen designs they have with the granite are super beautiful. Also can’t stress how convenient how close I am to campus . Staff is super friendly , and always there to help with whatever issues I might have. I remember that I was having issues with one of the light switches. I called the staff that night spoke with Baldemore Torres who works the front. Told me he would get on it to have someone come by to get it fix. Next day someone was up there getting it fix. I honestly have never seen or heard of any apartment being so responsive to help.

The staff genuinely wants to help. Ive made 3 maintenance requests in the year Ive been here. Twice the problem was fixed within 24 hours and the other time it was not longer than 48. The management and front desk staff are happy to be there and happy to help you. They do little things every now and then to make it an enjoyable place to live (for example, giving out free hot dogs or something). Having a parking garage is also nice for when it hails...just saying.But overall I have been impressed with the people I have dealt with.

Very nice place. I lived at 33 Degrees North apartment for around 5 years and 8 months(2013 -2019)!!!!Since it was brand new apartment(2013), I used to pay 644 for 4 bed floor plan than after couple of years I payed 689 for 4 bed floor plan. I really liked the place.The only two issues that I didnt like were the elevator sometime was out of service and the false alarms that never been fixed since I lived there.

What can I say, 33 North is my first apartment in Denton, and I have to say, it is fantastic! Its been a pleasure to live here. There arent any problems at all. The employees at the office are generally kind and enjoyable to work with. Campus is close by (UNT). Walking distance is straightforward, and there is a bus stop close. Residents are treated to complimentary food and other items on occasion at events held in the clubhouse.

Absolutely recommend this apartment complex to any college students looking for on campus living attending the University of North Texas. The staff is friendly and helpful, all pay portals and websites are user friendly, and the complex is clean and beautifully located. If you dont believe me, stop by and take a tour so you can see for yourself the countless amenities and fully furnished apartments at the ready for signing. With constant events to help you meet other college residents, youll never run out of things to do while living here (and who doesnt love a good taco Tuesday). Id give this complex 6 out of 5 stars if it were available! Highly recommend!

The staff here is so polite and helpful, communication is done effectively here to ensure residents can be comfortable and informed. This is my first apartment and I appreciate the easy transition I have had.The staff has made it easy, any problems I face are easily fixed when I bring them up to the office. I feel like I am always treated with respect which is EXTREMELY important to me. I was initially very nervous about my experience here but the atmosphere is supporting and considerate.I also really like living so close to UNT, I can walk to class and enjoy the environnment of Denton.

I just moved in, so there could be some problems I havent discovered yet, but so far 33 has been great! Our apartment is incredibly nice, very clean, and everything works really well. The front office staff are amazing! Very helpful, always willing to answer questions and they always give our dog a treat when we pass by! The dog park is great, yes the fence is raised in some areas and I could see the potential for small dogs to get out but most people keep their dogs on a leash so I dont really think it should be an issue. We hear nothing from our neighbors on either side, very quiet. The wi-fi is a bit slow, but for me its a non-issue. The maintenance guys are very nice and very hardworking- they will get to the problem but since there are only two of them it may take longer. Overall Im really enjoying the amenities and our unit.

I came here when I was searching around for apartments in Denton. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. The complex is updated, is very clean, and has nice amenities. Since the complex is in a building type set up with a gated parking garage, it feels like an extremely safe place to live. They also use amazon lockers for package and delivery which is pretty cool as well. The only down side is the higher rent price but, if you are worried about safety, this is a great place. I would definitely recommend at least putting this place on your list when youre apartment hunting!

You can grow to like this place! Ive had my fair and large list of complaints in the past two years here, but things are getting better. The staff has gotten so much better and seem friendly towards residents. They are painting right now and making changes to better protect the building from damage. I now constantly see someone who appears to be the manager on site taking care of business which is really comforting. Id say keep your guard up, file copies of all your forms done with the office for legal purposes, and give this place a try. I see a lot of negative reviews here, but Ive also heard many good ones outside of this webpage.

Both Andrew and myah took their job very seriously which was amazing to have student employees with such a professional attitude. Whenever there was a problem it was fixed immediately. Service request were done the day I put them in. This apartment is easily the nicest student living in Denton, the newest, and the closest to campus. The pool is clean, the office is constantly inviting residents for free food and events. The manager Kaitlyn was very helpful to both me and my mom, professional and organized. I loved living here and this apartment is worth the money you pay to live here. The other students apartments in Denton do not compare. When I moved in there was a few stains on my carpet, THEY REPLACED THE CARPET WITH A BRAND NEW ONE IMMEDIATELY with no questions. They do everything they can possibly do to make their residents satisfied with their apartments.

I have enjoyed my stay at 33 for the last two years. The staff is very helpful to you but the thing I love most is my apartment. The apartments looks like something you would find in Uptown Dallas. Very luxurious for the price that you are paying. I really like this place.

Its walking distance to campus so you dont have to pay for a parking pass and or look for a parking spot.

The current manager Micah went out of his way to get me approved for this apartment, to me personally that goes along way considering the fact we don’t know each other. The apartment is really nice and when I toured the place personally I expected to get brushed off because they were running out of space but Micah went out of his way to get me approved although other places denied my application. The fact that he did that is truly like astonishing and I’m excited to move in

Being my first semester at UNT I wanted somewhere close enough to walk to campus, I dont ever have to worry about driving just becasue of how close it is to campus. 33n has was the best option when I was looking for apartments. I moved in with 2 of my close friends and its a dope place to have. The staff here have gone out of their way multiple times to help me out with any questions or concerns I had, theyre super friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend living here!

I LOVE the convenience of 33 North! My apartment is large and comfortable with full furniture and appliances included, parking is so close and makes bringing groceries home so easy, it’s gated and quiet, the office and maintenance staff is very nice and helpful, the clubhouse has free coffee and Netflix, the hammocks by the pool are relaxing, and it’s just a short walk away from UNT campus!

33 has been my favorite commmunity to live in. The level of attention and follow up has been extrodinary. Moving out to denton alone was a bit hard on me and i was really clueless about leasing and renting aswell as hesitant to ask dumb questions but Baldemar made it so easy and helped me through it all. Im so glad he got me to sign a lease. The atmosphere in comparison to the other apartemnts near UNT does not compare to this one! Its conveniently located to UNT and luckily for me, a close walk to the BLB. I highly reccomend any college student to live here!!!
