It has been a great pleasure to live in the apartment building. Ceilings are tall, lay out is unique in each apartment, views of downtown.I also appreciate the management for taking care of the residents. She is respectful, generous, and professional. When I walk into the building I feel that it’s a home community like family and this is the first time I can sincerely say this living in Dallas Metroplex.Windows are being cleaned once a year, maintenance will resolve issues at your home, and cleaning staff is consistent. Thanks so so much for letting me reside in my beautiful home.

The team has been incredibly welcoming throughout my move into this beautiful building. Jodie, in particular, went above and beyond to make me feel at home from the very first apartment showing. The staff has been readily available to answer any questions I have had and fosters a friendly atmosphere by regularly hosting tenant events and activities. This place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of downtown, with a welcoming team, an amazing historic building, and a great community vibe. I am excited to create many wonderful memories here and would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a place to call home.

I mainly chose downtown for convenience and accessibility. I found a great unit that is spacious and unique. The community is very quiet on the inside. I do hear the downtown bustle but the inside, the units are really spacious and I do have about 14-15 ceilings to help with sound. So excited for the future!

I have lived at 1900 Elm for a cumulative amount of almost three years. This community is one of the best places I have lived in Dallas. Jodie and Carrie, the manager and assistant manager, always communicate with the residents extremely well. They are both caring, kind, and were always wonderful to talk to. The location is beautiful with tons of natural light, art deco features, and high ceilings. I would recommend 1900 Elm Apartments to anyone who is thinking about moving to downtown Dallas!

My husband and I lived at 1900 Elm for two years and couldnt recommend it more. The apartment has a genuine community feel—we knew most of our neighbors on our floor and became familiar with the entire maintenance and office staff. Maintenance requests were always handled within 48 hours, and the office was prompt in answering any questions we had. We will truly miss Jodie and the rest of the 1900 Elm team.**Pros:**- Warm, family-like community with friendly and approachable staff- Extremely secure parking garage with zero issues—rare for downtown Dallas- Thick unit walls with HIGH ceilings- Unique, historical units full of character- No pet rent- Located across the street from a park, with many others within a mile- Second floor connects to a Starbucks and other dining options- Close by train station / bus stops**Cons:**- Limited amenities- Some street noise (which is common for downtown living)All in all, 1900 Elm is a gem.

It was such a pleasure living here. Moving in was made so easy for me, they shut off the elevator just so you use it to move in, they have dollys we can borrow to get everything in. Jody is so kind and was even trying to help!! My whole year living here, i didn’t have any maintenance issues until my last month and they came and fixed it that same day i put the request in. They always have events going on for residents to make us really feel at home!! There is even a wrapping station for gifts/ Christmas gifts etc. i utilized it during Christmas time!! On top of all of that the location is great, there is so many great things to do, so many nice restaurants, corner stores, parks. Etc! Truly a great place to live!! Thank you Jody and the maintenance crew you all are awesome!

I truly enjoy my stay at 1900 Elm Street Lofts. The corner unit where I live has very high ceilings (!!!), lots of windows, and has an amazing view of downtown Dallas. It’s in a great location, very walkable, and close to a lot of restaurants and shops in downtown, Deep Ellum, and Farmers Market! Plus its proximity to the DART light rail AND the M-Line Trolley is something that makes this place so convenient. Have to also mention how convenient it is that the pedestrian tunnel has an entrance in this building that will take you to other neighboring buildings (and a food court!) without having to walk outside in the rain or heat! I also love how pet-friendly this building is and how close it is to not just one but THREE parks!The friendly staff and management at this place have been very accommodating. All maintenance requests that I had submitted were performed in a very timely manner. They are also quick to notify people if an unauthorized vehicle is parked in your reserved parking spot. I’ve never had problems with security in the underground parking garage.It is an older building (was a department store) built in the early 1900s. It has remnants of the charming original architectural details. Because of its age, the elevators do have issues from time to time. However, management is quick to communicate the issue with residents and to call for elevator technicians to resolve problems.A great location, has an amazing history, very helpful staff/management, very pet-friendly, high walkability score, reasonable rent cost… what more can you ask for?

Absolutely 5 Stars!!! From management to location to amenities to neighbors. Carrie and Jodie (property mgrs) are fantastic and responsive. This is a historic building right in the heart of downtown. If you want action, this is the place. Rent is reasonable and the apartments are in great shape. Nice mix of fellow tenants and all have been nice and courteous. Plus the downtown views are very cool. Irish pub (The Crafty Irishman) right across the street. Pet friendly. Just a great place to live!

My leasing experience was nice & swift all thanks to Jodie. I found the perfect unit in size, price, and location. You can really tell she cares about all her tenants and even makes the effort to know everyone of a personal level. She also knows the building like no other. Idk what this place would do without her. I also chose this location cause they had one of the better gyms I’ve seen in an apartment complex. I assure you you’ll be taken care of here if you deciding to live downtown loft style ❤️

Where do I even begin on the wonderful leasing and move in experience I had w Jodie the Property Manager at 1900 Elm. Absolutely a professional, extremely kind, and funny person, plus made the entire experience even better than I hoped for. I had always wanted to live at 1900 Elm for its history and unique loft floor plans and boy am I glad I took the leap. Spacious, eclectic, historic, and very friendly residents. Everyone I have encountered since moving in a few days ago have been super friendly and let me know how much they love living here. If you are looking for something a little different with historical cool vibes, and awesome office staff, and residents come see Jodie at 1900 Elm!! Update 4/12/24: I just wanted to update my original post and say as I am getting ready to move to Colorado, I will truly miss living at 1900 Elm. The absolute best community I have ever lived at and the absolute best staff! You all have made my living experience a pure joy when I had lost hope with past communities. If you all have not checked out historic 1900 Elm you are completely missing out on a gem!! 5 stars for sure and if I could give more I would. Thank you again Jodi for being the best of the best in Property Managers and making 1900 Elm my dream home to live in while I was here in Dallas.

Awesome building. Great management, maintenance is responsive. Wonderful location and excellent apartments for the price. No pool but I would rather save the $200 in rent. I plan to live here as long as I stay in Dallas and would highly recommend this building.The building is old so things do break but maintenance is responsive. I would choose to live in this wonderful historic building over a corporate apartment any day. You won’t get huge windows like this and excellent lighting at a corporate apartment. Jodi is an excellent manager and knows the residents who live here.

Ive lived at 1900 Elm for somewhere close to 6 years. This weekend I had an A/C issue - smelled like burning plastic coming from my vents. I reported it on a Sunday through the emergency maintenance number (office is closed weekends). Within 30-45 mins, one of our maintenance staff was at my door - on a Sunday! He checked it out, gave me good information about what could be the issue, and hooked me up with a portable A/C unit until a contractor could come out, which cooled my apartment just fine. A/C repair contractor arrived Tuesday morning, fixed the problem, and all is good! I cant say enough great things about the maintenance crew and property manager Jodie. They are all 100% transparent about what theyre doing to help, where things stand in the process, and theyll answer any question you throw at them, all with a smile. So glad I live where a highly effective team of professionals are running things!

I havent been with the apartment for long, but so far my new home is wonderful. The unit is better than i could have imagined and at a value better than most places in Downtown Dallas.The property manager and the rest of the staff have made my transition simple and welcoming. There has been nothing but honesty and transparency through all of our transactions.In addition to the welcoming staff, I have met nothing but friendly neighbors ready to give help and advice.So far i think I really lucked out.

We have loved living here for the last year and a half. Management staff is friendly and attentive. It seems like they plan some sort of tenant appreciation event every month! We’ve attended numerous gatherings in the lobby; getting the opportunity to get to know and socialize with our neighbors. Jodie and Carrie are the sweetest and treat our Molle and Moose like royalty. Any hiccup with our unit was addressed and fixed quickly. We recommend 1900 Elm to anyone looking for a family feel downtown.Secure parking, affordable rent in the center of downtown Dallas, responsive staff, walking distance to great eateries.Zero complaints from the Blanco Family.

I LOVE living here! Downtown living is where it’s at! It’s an old department store and being in the foyer is like going back in time. The staff is super friendly and fun, they always have resident appreciation things going on. At least once a month they’ll have a special event or social gatherings (all COVID safe, of course). I even won an ice cream maker and a super nice blender from the events. I haven’t met a resident here I didn’t like, either. Everyone is friendly, we look out for each other and it really feels like a community. And the dogs! We have two big dogs, and most of our neighbors have dogs too, and this place is super pet friendly. I swear I know more dogs than people! Amenities are great too. There’s a game room upstairs, a really nice gym, and laundry facilities. Underground garage parking, gotta pay for the spot, but it’s cheaper than my last place was for UNCOVERED parking! The Majestic theater is right across the street, Irish bar within stumbling distance, AT&T Plaza a short walk away, and there’s the BEST pizza restaurant IN. THE. BUILDING!!! We walk everywhere and still discover new things we like around here. I live on a lower floor so traffic noise is a bit loud, but I like it. Upper floors the street noise is way low. I can’t enough good things about this place, I haven’t had a bad experience here yet, and don’t think I will, honestly.

Manager is awesome , patient, caring , and attentive. Her prompt response made the leasing hustle and bustle easy thus far. I will up date at a later date once moved in. I cant wait. !!

The staff is phenomenal, its in an awesome part of Dallas (Downtown), the maintenance is timely, has a pretty great gym for an apartment, has a secure garage, and the residents are friendly and have tons of dogs (I love dogs)Only bad spots are the elevators dont go up to the 8th floor (top floor where I live but Im cool with it), I have already had to put in 3 maintenance requests and Ive lived here 2 1/2 months (theyre fast and do a good job), and guests will have hell trying to park.I love this place!

A few weeks ago I visited 1900 Elm. I toured the community with Jodie and received outstanding customer service. She definitely went out of her way to show me everything about the community. She really made me feel at home. Unfortunately, I just found out that I wont be moving to Dallas; but if anything changes, I wouldnt hesitate to call 1900 Elm my future home.

This is a great place to live downtown. Next-door to two parks and many wonderful restaurants. The Dart rail station and Royal Blue grocery each a block away makes for an easy no-car lifestyle. Residents get underground secure parking. The units are each unique with a loft style that shows some of the original 1920s era architecture.

I have lived here several years, and there has been a change in either Manager, Asst. Mgr. or Maintenance, approximately once a year. Each time I expected my communicated concerns to the new management would be addressed. Wrong, I was told okay, well address and were not, i.e., was not getting any emails and the office could never figure out why or they did check it? Complained about the dog urine and dirty carpeted hallways and again, received an okay well look into it, on average hallways were vacuumed or cleaned once or twice a year... Jorges condescending comments, about pets being a part of a persons family were the worst, his lack of understanding was an insult. The dark, dirtiness of the building, stinky hallways & trash areas, unkempt parking garage and constant smell of recreational drugs were the norm for this complex. These were all concerning to me and I constantly asked myself why am I paying for this kind of home? I was embarrassed to bring guest to my place. I always saw my rent go up every year, paying more and getting less for my money. Until the most recent change in management, I was not going to renew my lease and would not be recommending 1900 Elm to anyone. There are too many other areas around the downtown area for me to live in a place that does not appreciate my patronage.Until Shalina came, did 1900 Elm start feeling like a home and a place I was proud of to call home, instead of being embarrassed to bring guest due to urine smells, dirty floors, etc.; I now felt like yeah come over and check out my cool place. Shalina and her staff immediately made a difference. I was not aware that the hallways were supposed to be vacuumed/cleaned on a weekly basis, until I saw Shalinas staff doing it! She addresses concerns immediately and does a follow up to check and see if my concerns were resolved. Her overall demeanor towards the residents is warm, open and inviting. There are events held at the complex, to bring residents together that are oriented towards everyones different schedules, i.e., breakfast or all day event not just evening events. I am looking forward to the continued improvements Shalina and her staff are going to make at 1900 Elm. I would now proudly refer someone to check out this home community now. Great job Pace in hiring a good office manager!

The ladies management are the back bone of this community and REALLY gets things done when they say they are going to. I rarely write a review but this place deserves one. Its quiet even on a weekend and the tenets are quiet and mostly to themselves, very relax atmosphere.
