So I actually went looking with my granddaughter at these apartments, and I absolutely loved A2 with the beautiful balcony and I love the different common rooms, especially outdoors where you can swim or you can go somewhere and just chill and barbecue. The leasing agent Christopher was a joy to work with! gave me and my roommate a heck of a tour after we had a bad experience with the old lady named Trisha at the front. She was so rude to us and very discriminative. Honestly the only thing that saved my experience was how kind and caring Christopher was to make sure I was taken care of. 100/10 for Christopher!! -100/10 for Trisha; do better before you end up getting reported for you’re distasteful behavior. You’re lucky Christopher saved you from that.

I feel super safe here. The security, leasing staff & maintenance are like family.Signed my lease when I was out of town and moved in like 3 to 4 weeks later. They were very accommodating to me as I traveled. The view is AMAZING particularly at night.I had a small issue with the dryer and some wires but they fixed it immediately. Most of my issues were basically brand new appliances that I had to take the plastic off or call maintenance for connection of said brand new appliances. They came immediately. Since I physically moved in (in August) I see nothing but upgrades and new things theyre implementing almost weekly and Im not the easiest person to please.The ONLY reason I cannot give them 5 stars is because; honestly; it takes a lot for me to give 5 stars.PS: Roslyn, Stephanie and the new girl (sorry I dont know her name) are all awesome!

The stay here was smooth as could be I travel a lot so I cant speak for everything but Stephanie the manager was always helpful anytime I had any issues. The apartment location had a view of the pool that felt resort style really enjoyed waking up to that view! Downtown in every city Ive ever visited is the same homeless people are present. It didnt bother me and most of them wont bother or approach you, they are just people. Id rent here again if I needed another place central in Dallas.

Stephanie could not have been a better tour guide!! Extremely knowledgeable and well versed on the buildings history, progress and upcoming renovations. The units are newly remodeled with a few different options for finishes in the wet areas. Definite plus depending on on which way your inner interior designer leads you. New flooring throughout building. LOVE that there is an app for the keyed areas. Pet friendly building..you’d never know by how great the entire building smells.Great area!! Cute restaurants in the area. Gotta stop at Tiff’s Treats. The aroma of the chocolate chips cute is an added bonus. Thanks Stephanie for being so awesome!!

Awesome place! Super clean and safe. Electronic package system so your packages don’t get stolen, awesome pool area and really pretty courtyard/dog park area. Roslyn (sorry if I misspelled your name) was super awesome and took me through the whole apartment and was able to answer all my questions I had.The area is really convenient. 7-11 and liquor store right across the street, right next to the aquarium, and it’s like 2-3 turns until you get on I-35, so traffic is super manageable.Highly recommend

My husband I will soon be moving into this facility. The apartment home is easily accessible to all major highways. I can also pick up a few college-level courses to attend in the evening at the college that is only located a few blocks away. Both my husband and I have taken security courses and are certified. I am so lucky to soon acquire a home in historic heart of Downtown. I love the new security features that the owner has added, such as a courtesy officer for after business hours. Definitely look forward as management is taking large strides forward!

But, I will say I love the new south oxford management company that has come in and taken over . I am very impressed with all the upgrades and updates they have made to this place!!! Ive lived at 1001 Ross Ave for a few years now, and have been able to witness the growth of this property first hand. Property management has changed (in the last 6 months id say) and everything has gone up hill since. The new building manager is very polite and handles matters with urgency and care. The building when I had first moved in certainly had problems.... gate often broke resulting in peoples cars getting broken into, homeless people sleeping on property, littering, etc (listen folks, its an apartment in the metropolitan center of a major city), and these problems have been handled/ are constantly being handled by the new management group. The apartments are nice, and Ive never had to put in a service call for anything. The constantly are cleaning the lobby and vacuuming the hallways, and the public restroom by the lobby is always spotless. The biggest strength I can give the property is the way it makes me feel being a resident, I feel part of a community and I am always proud to bring over guests to my building. I always get, Wow, you live here?! Good for you! Hearing that from anyone as a young professional in Dallas makes me feel like im doing something right in life!! Keep it up 1001 Ross, I look forward to the years to come

The community is warm and inviting they often smile and ask me how my day is gone and ask my seven-year-old son how school was as we walked into the complex. Ive lived here for 7 months in a top-floor 3BR. Its enormous, the amenities are fine, and the location is great. Some people say that there is a homeless problem--not at all in my case. A frequent walker, I can tell you that that starts a block or 2 to the south. The management has been doing a great job of updating/refreshing the building and adding new features. Its not perfect, and not a 5 star building, but for the price that we pay, absolutely worth a 5-star review. If you want a 50th floor downtown experience, expect to pay 4x what you will pay here. This is the perfect apartment for those looking to be in/near downtown without breaking the bank.

Excellent value for a very moderate price. You can get an inexpensive one bedroom here for under $1000 or a 2 bedroom for under $1300 sometimes. They also have great lofts here.This place also has wonderful air conditioned hallways, which help keep your utilities lower.The apartment is light and bright. Not with the newest amenities, but still nice to look at. Feels great and they have huge ceilings.The amenities are average. Also, not really a dog friendly place (weight limits are low). Not many areas nearby to take dogs.The people that complain about this place...seriously, not sure what they are thinnking. Try to find a value like this in this area with this kind of look and feel. It doesnt exist. No place is perfect. This isnt either, but it is a great place for the money. And just a great place, period.I wouldnt hesitate to live here.

Move in July and my experience has been chill so far. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because of the street noise.Pros: walking distance / short drive to a lot of places in downtown. Maintenance has been pretty dope & responsive. To me the ladies at the front office are very helpful and responsive in person (Tami & Tolu).Point of improvement: The hallway is uniquely funky (remove the carpet). And if it’s possible install sound proof windows.

Only was here to save a life by stopping a man from driving drunk I first helped him by assisting him on locating his vehicle which he didnt remember where he had parked I offer him a ride to assist him on locating car gave him a smart talk on drinking alcohol beverages in being be hind a wheel. I explain to m to. Moses that his ability to drive was not at all safe for him are others I offer to drive him to his arlington home in his vehicle if he will allow lyft/uber to bring me back to this location where I left my car parked but offer was not accepted. In I suggested that mr. Moses then go sit n his car in sleep it off on which he agreed. I personally parked my car suv behind his vehicle in which he was a sleep so that the vehicle will remained park until he is able to drive.Thank you Harold Knox I sat along my car as I constantly checked on him by phone until further notice03/22/2022
