If I could give 6 stars, I would!Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I brought my truck in with suspension issues and ended up having them take care of a few things I had put off for a while. They are very transparent while not being pushy at all. The foreman, Jeremy, is extremely knowledgeable and was willing to answer the dozen questions I had. Truck drives great!Spencer’s I my “go to” from now on!

This is the second time I have used Spencer’s . They performed a complete servicing on my car , all belts , fluids ,filters, front end alignment , and plugs . One day service, was asked if I would need a loner car, was kept informed of progress and there were a couple of items found they asked me what I wanted to do with those before proceeding and how much it would cost. The whole process was easy , reasonably priced , and they are very friendly .I recently moved here from Lewisville and had used another auto shop for yrs so I was skeptical at first, but so happy I chose to come to Spencer’s will definitely be returning here.

My truck broke down and I was stranded. I was able to finally get someone to tow me to the shop late that night and obviously they were closed so a hope and a prayer was all I could do to keep my composure. I filled out the form, left my keys in it and dropped it in the night dropbox. The next morning I got a phone call and discussed the problem that I had and what the vehicle was doing. I was given a step-by-step account before any work was done when agreed-upon what work was going to be done they started immediately and let me know step-by-step what was happening with my vehicle. They were quick and informative and very thorough. Within a few days I’ve had multiple problems fixed and I was back on the road. This is probably the fastest service and most polite service I’ve ever had. I will definitely use them in the future and may God bless them. I am so thankful I found this place!

The people who work here are honest and kind. Spencer’s auto repair does a fantastic job fixing my Toyota, and explaining the repairs needed. They are very knowledgeable in their field, but never talk down to you, and will explain things in detail if needed. My family and I have been going here for years, and will continue to do so. Getting repairs done at a dealership will cost an arm and a leg in comparison, as well as feeling like a commodity, and not a person. Unfortunately the transmission went out on my 2015 Chevrolet traverse. The repair for that cost quite a bit due to the nature of the issue but they worked with us to find a rebuild that was within our budget. Staff were very helpful, friendly, and even offered a free rental car to use during the repair, however we did not need it. Have he my vehicle back for over a month now and it’s driving like new again. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Spencer’s Auto Repair since 2019 when my older car got to the point it started needing repairs done. They were so professional and thorough explaining to me what was needed and why. They provided detailed photos of the repairs needed and a detailed estimate. They offered a 24 month or 24,000 mile nationwide warranty on the parts. In addition they provided me with a free complementary rental car while my car was being repaired. Since then I have taken my car back several times for oil changes and maintenance that is due to be performed based on my cars mileage. I have the utmost trust and respect for Spencer’s Auto Repair. It is family owned and the staff are friendly. They always follow up with me to make sure all is well. My car runs great and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my car repair needs.

Love this place. They run a thorough inspection on your vehicle and send you a comprehensive assessment of whats going on with it. I enjoy that they have a texting option because I hate talking on the phone. I like that Im able to pay via online through a link they send you and can pick my vehicle up after hours. For someone like me, these are very important practices for a business to have. They are always extremely courteous so Im sure that an in person experience would be just a nice. They do have a financing option, for those who qualify, through Synchrony/Care Credit (if im not mistaken) . Anyways, Thank you to my service writer Brian, Rachel for checking in, and the mechanic(s) who fixed my vehicle.

Outstanding customer service! Explained all necessary repairs in detail and possible future repairs by preforming a vehicle diagnostic with pictures and videos. Fair pricing and even did comparison pricing for me. Dropped my truck off at 8am and it was complete by approximately 230pm-245pm. They even offer loaner vehicles to their customers. This was an amazing experience. I definitely recommend Spencers if you need car repair, car care and/or a vehicle inspection. Two thumbs up!

I had a great experience. I was sold only what I needed and given a list of things that should be taken care of at some point but by no means pressured to do it right now. Parts were ordered and the repair was completed quicker than I expected. I was told from the beginning how long it would take, which I didnt believe, but they got it done. I had a complimentary loaner vehicle which was a life saver and the staff was fantastic to work with. Definitely recommend this shop. Its not some backwoods beater facility either. Spencer’s Auto has been so good to us! They have taken care of both of our vehicles- a Honda Odyssey and Hyundai Elantra- and I’m sure they have done more services than just the ones I have selected! I just don’t remember everything. :) but they are amazing! They have taken through set up appointments as well as last minute walk-ins where our cars randomly started acting up. They have this loaner car program that has been a lifesaver! It allowed me drop my car whenever worked for me and then have a vehicle to drive while they were working on mine. This is the first time I have used Spencer’s. I can honestly say I appreciate the effort that they put into their business. I was able to get in for an appointment quickly, and was helped immediately on arrival. Initial diagnosis was required, as my issue may have required a diesel mechanic, but they knew just what to do and kept the vehicle for service. I used their loaner service, which was very helpful! I really liked the text updates, with links to reports and pictures. Follow-up was great, and timing worked out for me, even though some parts delays created some additional time. Quality was as expected, with no issues on pick up or driving since. I also paid in advance of the pick up, which was convenient as I needed to quickly turn around my visit. Ill be back!

Great place. Professional and honest, and quality work. The chalkboard sign out front welcoming you by name when you arrive is a very nice touch. I followed Brian Whitworth, service manager, here from Pioneer Auto in Denton. Spencer’s definitely has that small town feel and does a great job. Also, I appreciate that they’re up with the times, sending you text updates including your vehicle service report so you can review it and even pay for repairs online before you arrive to pick up your vehicle. They genuinely care about their customers.

I have searched for years for an auto repair shop that I could truly feel comfortable going to by myself as a woman, 99% of the other shops I have been to, I have either been lied to, overcharged, talked down to, or the infamous complicated mechanical words used in a way, that were so confusing, I had no idea what was actually wrong with my car, or why it was costing so much, making you feel that you were taken advantage of when you left.. BUT, I cannot say enough great things about Spencers! Rachel and her husband are amazing at explaining everything to you, down to the smallest detail in a way that the average person can understand, not only that, but Rachel helped me prioritize on what repairs needed to be addressed first because Im working with such a tight budget! I feel very comfortable going there without my husband and have no worries that Im going to be lied to, and over charged. The loaner car they have is an A+ benefit that you typically cant find at most auto repair shops. Inside the shop is very clean, and comfortable, restroom is clean! Their follow up and the link to your personal (vehicle report card) has been the best service Ive ever had, No matter where I live, I will continue taking my vehicles to Spencers! 5 Stars hands down!

Im new to the area and needed work done on my pickup. I wanted to find a garage that was honest and reliable, and Im thankful I discovered this local family run business. The folks at Spensers are good people. Theyre friendly and helpful, and very open and honest about the cost of repairs and all the details regarding them. Theyre very service oriented, and take time to discuss any issues regarding your vehicle, or give advice regarding repairs or maintenance to prevent problems. I had brake work done. They totally explained everything I asked about before during and after the job, and the work was done exactly as promised. They even rotated my tires and and gave me a ride, as I had no to pick me up or bring me back. I cannot day enough good things about this place. I was able to call ahead and make an appointment. I was greeted with warm smiles from the very nice woman at the desk and a mechanic. They took my car for a simple oil change, made me aware of my air filter needing replaced, which I appreciated. While I waited the seats were comfortable and the kerig coffee/beverage station accompanied by snacks were complimentary. About 20 minutes later, my car was brought to the door keys in and running with the a/c on! The owner shook my hand and personally thanked me for my business. Talk about customer service. Best Service in the Denton Area. I moved to Krum from Arlington 5 years ago and since then have had my car serviced here. The first time I took my car in I was just wanting belts and fluids checked before I went on a long trip. They checked it out and didnt charge me. A few months later I took my moms car in for an issue and they resolved it the same day. Over the last 5 years they have serviced both my daughters cars, my moms, my wifes and mine.
