I can’t thank enough Proline Auto- Katy for their honesty and professionalism. After a bad experience with another mechanic, I had my car towed here, and they quickly diagnosed the issue. They found that a hose connected to the previous mechanic’s work was left loose and fixed it promptly. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and integrity in explaining what happened. I came to Proline Auto today 2/14/25 as a first time customer for an oil change and I must say the customer service is beyond amazing! Rob, Sam, and Jhair were so polite, friendly, and fun. These guys do amazing work, very professional and helpful. Im thankful I found this shop 🙏🏽 definitely come here for your car needs.I have had work as basic as an oil change, to very complicated issues and fine tuning once I was full bolt on. Sam as worked on my car from the inside out and has always done an amazing job. I havent had any following issues once he fixed what was going on. I have been coming to this shop for several years for service on my Honda Civic and my BMW 328i and have never been disappointed.The shop provides service for diverse automobile needs. I have come here for issues such as battery replacement, engine transmission issues, leaks, and state inspections.Pricing for their services is very reasonable and competitive with other shops providing similar services. Loaner cars are also available on a limited basis, if needed, and the shop also has coffee, bottled water, snacks, and tv in their main lobby if you want to wait there while your vehicle is being serviced.I would definitely recommend anyone who needs servicing on their vehicle to come check this shop out. You will definitely not be disappointed!

I can’t thank Sami and his team for helping me bring back my childhood car back to life after sitting for many years. The turn around time for the kind work he did is amazing. He replace my water pump, timing belt, radiator and gave it a oil change and made sure everything was running smooth on my Porsche 944 Turbo. I can’t thank them enough! That drive home when I came to pick up the car was emotional and I’m truly blessed to have gone with them to fix my baby. Thank you again!! Highly recommend! Proline is an acceptable, exceptional auto repair shop due to the attentiveness of the staff there, they listen to what you say, they don’t do extra work that doesn’t need to be done, they get right to the point of the problem, and most of all they make suggestions and if work is not needed from what you think might be needed they let you know. their pricing is a lot better than other auto shops around there. They’re run by two brothers who really care to give great quality work and go way beyond what is expected.If the reviews do not make you want to go see them then go on your own accord. If you have any issues and see how they treat you it’s well worth your time.

9.21.2023I think I am a bit overdue with writing a review for these guys. As someone that used to run and manage (on and off) a tire / mechanic shop for close to 20 years that my father owned. I hate having to bring my vehicles anywhere else, it has been 8+ years since my father moved on from that business. So as you can imagine, I am a full blown customer in this sector now.These guys have been absolutely great. To be fair, I vet everyone I am going to deal with before dealing with them. I have done this with Proline and they really are some really nice guys. The people I am dealing with is the main thing I look at, the work done is second on my list. They are professional, polite, and empathetic to the customer which is extremely important in almost any business. The quality of work has been great so far.Older vehicle to fix the AC which went out after almost hitting 200K, but I will not let that car go if I can help it (My wife drives it daily). It still need a little more work which I am putting off for right now. Another vehicle in which I had to get the starter replaced (Family Vehicle). Third vehicle coming up to replace rotors and brakes (My Daily Driver).Dumping money like I have it but this is Houston, an unmaintained vehicle will always end up costing you more here. Ive seen it with my own eyes running a shop. You tell them the issue, they try to push it off for another month or two until the time is right for them and keep driving it. Problem is, before you know it, situation is worse because you waited and it ends up costing more. I am really trying to avoid being that person.Anyways....I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone. I am pretty active with my reviews, so I do edit when needed to. I think it is important to keep everyone accountable and honest, just doing my part for Houston. =)Your Welcome!

I had a Total Engine replacement and Rob was able to contact my Warranty as well as the Manufacturer and get my Engine Replaced with Zero Hassle! They are Professional and communicate in a timely manner, they even offered a Loaner! I’d highly recommend them, even just for an Oil Change, Wiper Replacement or just to stop in and check out their line-up of vehicles For Sale. As a previously employed mechanic for a well known dealership, it has been extremely difficult for me, to find an honest good quality shop that doesn’t break the bank on over priced or unnecessary services. But thankfully I stumbled across this family owned business that clearly care about their work, & clients. Ive brought many of my different vehicles that needed repairs from engine, suspension and even transmission work and thankfully their smooth and quick work has kept my Bussines afloat. Thanks to Sami, his father, and Robbie my Bussines has been back on the road with no hesitations. I knew going into any repair what the vehicle already needed without telling them and they’ve always got the job done with a fair and lower than normal prices, without trying to rob me. Great experience and glad I took a chance with Proline Brothers. Ive lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and have always avoided this shop due to the negative reviews Ive read online, however Dan (the owner) informed me that he purchased it from the previous owners about 18 months ago. After speaking with Dan I was very impressed with his knowledge, experience, and patience in explaining my cars problem. I took my Subaru Forester in after experiencing a suspension issue and Dan quickly diagnosed the problem. He had me back on the road after a few hours for a very reasonable price. What a great addition to the neighborhood. After calling around and having some disappointing experiences with some of the bigger shops I realize what a luxury it is to have an experienced mechanic like Dan so close by. I will definitely be returning in the future.I came back for a repair on my CVT. Other shops claimed the only option was total replacement. Dan quickly identified the issue and presented me with a number of options at different price points. I was able to save thousands of dollars and I am confident the repair was done correctly. Very happy with the service here.

I was quite impressed with this place. For the last year my Mazda Miata has been running sluggish with acceleration issues and engine light going off, one issue after the next. Many mechanics in Katy/Houston have seen my car trying to diagnose and repair. My car was still running sluggish with them suggesting other repairs. Finally I took my car to Proline Auto Repair in Katy, TX right off Mason Rd behind Jack-in-the-Box and Big Lots, they confirmed a tune up would mostly help with improving acceleration and especially if I hadnt had a tune up in a few years. End of story they did a COMPLETE Tune-up on my car an now my car RUNS LIKE NEW!!! Im blown away. Acceleration was excellent getting on the freeway. They were professional, informative, precise in their knowledge and relaying that information. And the price for the tune-up was very reasonable. Happy Customer!

Extremely happy with Danny’s work. I had some noise underneath my pathfinder. Nissan told me it was the 2 struts that needed to be replaced ($1,200 and 1 year warranty). Danny was recommended by a friend. I went there. Danny lift the car up and showed me the issue. 2 bearings needed to be changed, the struts were all good. Car fixed within 2 hours for $400. It drives like it was new. I Highly recommend this place.

Needed a clutch and fly wheel replaced in my 100,000 mi manual transmission Hyundai Accent. It was what I expected as far as transmission costs go but they got it done in two days and now it drives like new. I thought I might have to do work on my AC but it turns out the clutch replacement put power back into my AC. Who knew? So two birds with one stone! Glad to do business with them and would be glad to do it again.

Danny and the staff go far and beyond than most shops do and is very knowledgeable on all the makes and models as we have Chevy Nissan and Mercedes. What really separates them from others is not hassling ans trying to upsale you and fixing little things that most places would charge you to fix!! I found the nearest repair shop and began speaking with Dan. Dan brought my car inside, lifted it and checked out my car (2010 Honda Pilot). I was very anxious because I felt that I might be taken advantage of due to the fact that I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He gave me such a great deal on the parts and labor! Danny is the real deal! Honest, trustworthy and a nice guy. Great service and a great price. I took my Lexus RX 400h into the Lexus dealership and had the worst service of my life. I had an issue with my key, for some reason it wouldnt turn so I wanted Lexus to look at it. It turned out to be the ignition block and it needed to be replaced. By the time it was done I had spent $1,300 and for some reason had no air conditioner. Weird, because I had air conditioning when I brought it in. They wanted to charge me another thousand dollars to fix the AC. No way was I letting them touch my car again. I was referred to Proline Brothers by my brother. Danny found that my Freon had been completely drained. I dont know if I had a slow leak prior to bringing it to the Lexus dealership but I know I did not have any AC issues until I took it to the Lexus dealership. Danny fixed my car and didnt charge an arm and a leg. Since then I have taken my car in for a brake job and had my radiator fixed as well. I will definitely be bringing my car in to Proline Brothers Auto from now on.
