Patriot Appliance recently installed a new HVAC unit in my home residence, and their service far exceeded my expectations. After shopping around, I found Pauls pricing to be more than reasonable. Hes also no newbie - hes been doing this for over 20 years - so he does a great job of confidently detailing the process and choice of units.On the day of installation, they arrived promptly in the morning and worked all day to get things working right. After this first long day, he let me know the attic door and trim had to be removed. After they left, I also noticed the new unit installed was defective - not their fault, of course - but Paul promptly came back and addressed both issues. He added a new door and trim (that look even better than before if I may add) as well as changed the defective thermostat for me without a fuss.Everything works flawlessly now and Im very much looking forward to staying cool this summer! Working with Patriot Appliance was seamless and professional and Ill definitely be calling them for any HVAC (and other appliance!) needs in the future!

Exceptional service, highly recommend! Almost speechless with the pure honesty and integrity displayed by Paul. It is so rare these days. After years using another service and feeling like something was just not right after a maintenance check up, I called Patriot for a 2nd opinion. The whole experience was drastically different. Paul helped me understand the HVAC system while checking everything out and never tried to sell me anything I didnt need. He made a recommendation and even said I could wait to get it done. Our LG washing machine stopped working. I suspected the water pump was out and after Paul stopped by to diagnose it was confirmed.Paul returned the following day and replaced the water pump and the machine is working as new again.I was impressed at the quick turn-around after the diagnosis and at the quality of service. He totally could’ve charged us several hundred dollars and THEN told us that, but he didn’t. He is full of integrity. Afterwards, he even helped me pick out our next washer. Integrity. That’s a word I would use to describe our experience with Paul. He shows up when he says he’s going to show up, he fixes what he says he’s going to fix, & he will guide you in the right direction with his advice without trying to upsell you/rip you off. We have used him twice, & the most recent was a last minute issue and we were in a pinch. Paul came next day and fixed the issue when others could not. My AC went out on a Friday in the middle of the day & several places I spoke with couldn’t get anyone out because, “Friday is our busiest day.”When I called & spoke with Paul at Patriot, he never told me what he couldn’t do, only what he could. He came to my house the same afternoon, diagnosed AND fixed the problem (bad capacitor) in no time!Paul is very personable, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cared. He knew I was laid up with a herniated disc; once he was paid he told me I needed to go lay down and get healthy! (He didn’t have to say anything, he’d already been paid, so I knew it was genuine.)From my initial call to a working AC System was 73 minutes; now THAT is a record for a home repair in my experience!!! I feel bad for those who accepted the others’ wait until next week, they should have called Patriot Repair.I’ll never call anyone else again for any repairs Paul can do!!

It was 100 degrees when my AC died and Paul was there that afternoon to go over my options. Although I needed a new system, they installed the system the next day. Special care was taken with my property, the install was flawless and within 20 minutes of completion I could feel relief in my house. TL;DR - Old school, professional, fair, honest. Exactly what youd like for an HVAC/Appliance pro.Long version - we had an issue with a relatively new fridge, this is always scary because appliance-repair people charge for the trip (makes sense, their time is valuable!) and you never really know if the repair will work or not. Paul, the owner, was super knowledgeable and informative. He did not dismiss our concerns or questions, and rather took the time to explain his prognosis and suggested solution. He told us from the get-go that it might not work, but given the inputs he explained, we decided to trust his judgement and go ahead with ordering parts.Paul got the parts, installed them, and violla - the fridge is operational, for 20% of the cost of a new fridge. Thats a good trade as far as Im concerned.I deal with Real Estate for a living and see many professionals, in this industry, unfortunately, many people are all show no value. Paul & Patriot Appliance seems to me to be the real deal, I will definitely work with them for my own rental portfolio and will refer other business their way.5/5, easy.

A LG Fridge that another vendor messed up, a AC unit that wasnt working properly, and recently a furnace that was acting up. My 5 year old LG Refridgerator wasnt making Ice, then the interior Temp began to Rise 🥵I called Patriot Appliance Repair and spoke with Paul. After explaining my problem to him he came to my home the very next day. Paul did a Through inspection diagnosing that my LG Fridge Compressor had Failed and needed to be replaced ! Thank goodness there was a 10 year warranty on the compressor! 🙏🏻I called LG to Complain about the Problem with my fridge which was ONLY 5 years old ! 🤬 They shipped the new compressor quickly to Pauls Company. It has been a frustrating experience to say the Least ! 😵‍💫 Paul notified me that he had received the new compressor and was at my home the very next day ! He added me to his Extremely Busy Schedule and I cannot say how grateful I am to him. It was not an easy fix, but Paul accepted the challenge my Fridge gave to him ! Even though the new compressor did not work properly, at First, Paul is not a man who gives up easily! He worked His Magic and with his experience and fortitude my LG Fridge is working again ! He even deducted his last Service Fee for his Service Visit to repair the compressor and other Issues it was having ! 😳 I am Truly Appreciative of the Knowledge this man has with repairing my fridge ! When my a/c started blowing hot air in 90 degree weather, I called and he was able to stop by in just a couple of hours to fix it. My a/c unit is over 20 years old, and rather than pressuring me to get a new unit, he quickly found the problem with the capacitor and fixed it, so I only ended up paying way less than I would have otherwise. Now my good old unit is working just fine! I also used Paul a couple of years back to fix my dishwasher. Although I understand that he doesnt fix dishwashers any longer, he was able to find the problem and fix it quickly, and he also gave me some additional tips on cleaning and maintenance, which I appreciated. Hes a super nice guy, absolutely amazing customer service, and dedicated to his work. I will always call Paul with my appliance repair needs in the future! Highly recommended!!

I’m really satisfied with Patriot Appliance. On time quick response and job well done. My fridge went out the day after Christmas. Of course I had a full fridge and house full of people. Paul replaced my compressor quickly and did a fantastic job. Best of all Paul directed me to LG and instructed me how to recoup the cost of my repairs (class action law suit). Paul (the owner) runs a great company and I had a great experience working with him to get our dryer fixed. Extremely polite and knowledgeable.Here’s how my experience went. I called him the morning our dryer broke and within hours he was at our house to check on it. He needed a part to fix it and then promised to be out the next day. The next morning I want able to be home to meet Paul. I was worried rescheduling would put us out of a dryer for a week at least. But I called him and he made it painless to switch to the next day! My refrigerator/freezer wasnt running consistently. On Thursday, I called and scheduled a repair call with a local company for Monday. Sadly, my fridge died on Saturday night and I became desperate as my fridge and freezer were full of food that I didnt want to lose. Through some online research, I found Patriot Appliance Repair and they serviced on Sunday. I called them and they gave me a time frame. When Paul showed up, he was friendly and polite. He asked me a couple of questions, quickly assessed my problem and gave me a cost for repair. For parts and labor, I thought the $335 was very reasonable. He went right to work and knew exactly what to do. Friendly and polite, and clearly very knowledgeable, he was in and out in less than an hour. My fridge is now purring like a kitten. A great experience with Patriot. First time using the company and didn’t know what to expect. I live out of state and rely on techs to handle everything and Paul and his company took charge. Im so glad I called. I heard their advertisement on Spirit 105.9 and looked up reviews. I was happy to see their reviews were excellent. I spoke to Paul who was very helpful. He had Ben come out the same day. Ben was very helpful as well. Gave me tips. When I agreed to have them fix my dryer I paid half down and was expected to pay the remaining amount when they came back to repair my dryer. Well to my surprise my son-in law said he could fix it. We have lived in the Austin area (Leander) for just under 3 years and have not needed any appliance repair work. We recently noticed water accumulation under our washer after running a load and suspected some type of leak. Im not a DIY or mechanical person. I prefer to call professionals. I read some Google reviews about Patriot Appliance and noted several positive reviews and took a chance. My experience: WOW! Again, WOW! Im always afraid of using a new company for appliance repair. Ive been burned by technicians overcharging me for replacement parts that dont need replacing. Anyway, my fears were quickly dismissed with Patriot. I called for service at 9 a.m. and Paul arrived at least an hour ahead of schedule (he politely texted ahead of time to see if this was fine!). As soon as he arrived, he was down to business - diagnosing and repairing the issue. He quickly identified the cause of the leak and called me over to show me and explain everything in detail. I was surprised at the simplicity of the solution and greatly appreciated that it was an incredibly inexpensive fix!! In and out for under $100. There was no chatting me up to soften me for the dishonest overharge. Absolutely not! He was all business and did not want to waste my time or rip me off. I rarely write reviews but when you meet someone so professional and honest, I just had to. Hix experience was obvious. Paul has clearly done thousands of repairs and knows his business. If you are somewhat new to the area and needing an appliance repair person, you are likely reading Google reviews like I did. I HIGHLY recommend Patriot. Paul is the owner and does the work himself (something also you dont see often). He is honest and professional. Your repair may not be as inexpensive as mine but I can tell you that whatever prices he may quote you will be honest and you can rest assured you are not getting ripped off! I called Paul on a Friday evening after I realized my refrigerator had died on me. He could tell I was panicked and offered to come over after his last appointment - which turned out to be around 10pm. Once I calmed down and my need for sleep outweighed my need for cold milk, I told him it could wait until the morning. Surprisingly, he said he could make me his first appointment and showed up at 7:30 am on Saturday.He was polite and professionally dressed, he offered to put on booties before he came in. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and told me I needed a new flux capacitor - or some other highly technical thingy that would make the power start working again. He didnt try to upsell me on some ridiculous maintenance plan, he only asked that I review his services. The price was fair - especially considering the above and beyond service before I had even finished my first cup of coffee. He ordered the part that day and came back today to do the installation.As I type this, I hear the sweet sound of cool air circulating in my fridge and freezer. Thank you Paul, it looks we will be having a Margarita Monday after all!!!I would highly recommend Patriot Appliance Repair. We had a great experience with this repair service! Paul, the owner, came out in the evening, as that was the time that would work best for us, and gave us a whole education on diagnosing the issues with our two problem appliances. He gave us a quote, being very upfront about all costs and checking with us to see if we qualified for discounts that he offers, and said he should be able to procure the parts the next day and could complete the repairs that evening. The best part is he followed through on all of his promises, and within 24 hours we had our refrigerator and clothes dryer working again.

Paul is great! He has repaired my washing machine, my clothes dryer, and an ice-maker at a rental property. He is fast, efficient, and a delight to chat with. He is very much plugged into an electronic way of doing things...appointments, approval of cost, ordering parts, and payment.He showed us why the washing machine failed and showed us how to maintain it so that it wouldnt happen again.The ice-maker replacement part failed after a week or so. Paul checked it out, ordered the parts on the spot, then returned a few days later. He replaced another part that, though still working, could have contributed to the earlier failure. He said that he didnt want to have to return yet again. All this at no cost due to the warranty of his first repair.Ive heard Paul on the phone while repairing our appliances. When you contact him, be prepared with make and model of your appliance. Or have a photograph of the official make/model plate that you can text to him. Paul doesnt want to waste your money (and his time) with an unnecessary service call (in case he cant work on the appliance).

Excellent service from start to finish. I left a voicemail Friday morning and had a call back within an hour and was able to schedule an appointment for Monday morning. They notified me they would give me a ~30 min heads up before they arrived at my house, which they did. This is something I always appreciate because I have a pack of dogs that I like to get outside before someone comes into the house. The phone call before time definitely helps out with that.Richard knew what was wrong as soon as we had him listen to the squeaking sound our dryer was making. He took the dryer apart and confirmed it was what he thought it was, and then provided me an estimate for cost (labor/parts, etc). I agreed and he replaced the part. I think he was here around 30 minutes and my dryer is now working again without the horrible squeaking sound. Greatly appreciate how knowledgeable and efficient Richard was. I was very pleased with how this went down. I needed quick attention to my ice maker and started googling. I contacted Patriot based on the number of great Yelp reviews. He responded to me within less than 5 minutes and set up a diagnostic appointment for the next day. He determined the problem with the ice maker and also let me know I would be smart to replace the compressor on the freezer as well to fix the temperature and frost buildup problems. Paul, the owner, said they could come out that afternoon- and for less than a quote Id received from Sears! A couple of hours later my dryer began working again but I had no idea why and didnt want to get caught with wet laundry on the holiday. When David, the technician, arrived it took him about 2 minutes to tell me what he thought the problem was. Something stupid I had been doing each time I turned the dryer on. Instead of taking the dryer apart or charging me a fee for coming out, he simply gave me a business card and told me to call if it happens again. Wow! As a retired single woman on a fixed income this was nothing short of miraculous! WOW!!! Thars all I could think, after speaking to this company.My repair issue needed explaining. In the past, when trying to explain my issues to other companies or technicians, they listened and then wanted to schedule a repair call. Which I didnt mind. What I was concerned about is them coming out, not listening to the real problem and the problem comes back. Which has happened at least 4 times already from different companies.I called Patriot Appliance Repair around 4:30pm and they answered. Not only did they answer, they listened. He didnt hurry me off the phone or immediately try and schedule a call like the rest. After hearing my story, the technician said that this was an easy fix and most likely I reconnect something when trying to fix it myself. He gave me some tips and said that he can come fix it, if I didnt feel like trying to fix it myself. He just didnt want to charge me money for an easy fix.It has been many years since I seen a company or its employees not take the easy route and make a buck off their customers when a simple suggestion can solve the problem. That speaks volumes to me especially during these difficult times where saving every penny counts.I will be a lifelong customer of Patriot Appliance Repair and I recommend them for all your repair needs.

Paul arrived when expected and fixed our dryer quickly for a fair price. I have used them in the past for a refrigerator repair and was pleased with that as well, which is why I called him for my broken dryer. Highly recommend.

Paul has great expertise and takes time to educate you so you understand how things work, why they fail, what options you have and some tech tips on how to properly maintain your appliances. Our ice maker wasnt making ice and the remedy was to defrost the refrigerator and our dishwasher wasnt cleaning dishes and the remedy was to make sure we ran the hot water in the sink for several minutes before starting it along with using Pauls homemade remedy for keeping the lines clean. He is very efficient with his time, comes when he says he will and charges a fair price. He has my highest recommendation

They gave a fair price to fix my dishwasher. was reasonable on coming out and giving me a quote. The parts price was what I saw I could buy a part for online. so it wasnt worth me trying to do it myself. Paul was very nice and easy to deal with. I will plan on using these guys in the future and already am calling them for other washers and dryers that I need to maintain!

My 20-year-old oven needed a part -- a control board -- that was no longer available. Patriot removed the board from my oven, took it to a local business that repaired it, retrieved it when it was done, and returned to my home to reinstall it. Their price was very reasonable, and the oven works great once again. Best of all, they kept in touch with me by text every day, keeping me informed of the status of the repair and working with me to schedule the reinstallation of the board at my convenience. Everyone was super nice throughout the process. This is my new go-to company for appliance repair. They will take on jobs that other companies wont touch; they seem to be very knowledgeable; and they truly care about doing a good job and satisfying customers.

First of all let me just say the service on this place is incredible. I called several repair companies to come out and fix my dryer and the gentleman at Patriot Appliance had already returned my call, scheduled an arrival time and diagnosed the problem before I ever got the first call back from any of the other companies. When he knew he was running a bit behind with his service calls he called in advance and gave me an new ETA. He showed up and was polite and professional. He gave me service options and gave me the best ways to save money. He was kind and informative and even though he needed a part he was quick to retrieve it and head back over to install the thermal fuse. I was so worried getting my dryer fixed was going to be expensive and agonizing but the repair man at Patriot Appliance made it affordable and timely. Thank you so very much.
