Dalton came out to check my system after a different company had done a system check the day before as a free check. Why did I have Dalton come right after the other company just came? Because the other company told me that the system the Dalton installed 4 years ago was done incorrectly and I needed new plenums and some new ductwork totaling $17,000. I had Dalton come and check the system complete top to bottom. No issues. I trust Dalton and will continue to use them. They did a great job

Update:It’s been a year since we have our HVAC system replaced by Dalton AC & Heating. Very happy with the system we got and their continued service. Their tech Richard came to our home to service the unit (2nd service) and informed us everything is working great. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Dalton AC complete the work, and the product they sell. I highly recommend them!! Thank you Dalton AC.Our AC system began to go out on a Sunday (system still working) and Aaron came in Monday morning. He noticed the AC condenser motor was over heating and about to go out, instead of a quick replacement I asked him to give me an estimate to replace our system, it was from 2005 when the house was built. We agreed on the system model and price, and he replaced the AC condenser motor for free to ensure our home would be cool until they could come in and replace the entire system on Thursday that week. Aaron listened to what my family and our home needed and made sure he gave us options before we agreed to anything. Thursday morning came and the crew who arrived was ready to work and set up blankets to keep our floors clean. They completed the work very quickly and answered questions I had along the way. I like to view what people do while they work on our home, not because I want to be in their business but out of curiosity. That didn’t bother them at all, and they even took the time to talk to me about themselves and their families. Once everything was done they walked me through the work they did and set up the new, very nice, American Standard thermostat. Aaron explained the parts and labor warranty from American Standard and Dalton AC and what it covers. As they prepared to leave they cleaned everything in the areas they worked in, and even used a blower at the front of the house to ensure any small pieces of trash would be picked up and removed from the property. It’s been two weeks since Dalton AC replaced our system and we could not be happier with the American Standard models we chose and the difference in how much cooler our home is. Thank you Dalton AC, Aaron, and the install crew for your detailed work, and for caring about my family and our home’s needs.

We had a complete HVAC system replacement complete with new ductwork. I was very impressed with Charlies knowledge and work ethic. The installation crew arrived at 7:30 am and finished by 5:00 pm the same day. The installation was professionally completed. All the ductwork was neatly suspended, they levelled the slab for the condensing unit before placing the new condenser. I have peace of mind now that I have a A/C service company that I trust. Been a customer for years. Like all homeowners, its important to have good people, like plumbers, that you can count on. In the Houston area, A/C is maybe the most important. Dalton folks are ALWAYS on time, professional, courteous, do great work, and when something has gone wrong and the AC is out, they have always been able to get out to us SAME DAY. Maybe there are cheaper options (maybe not, I havent shopped around) but even if there are, I wouldnt care. Dalton is terrific. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wow!Dalton is amazing and so is Charlie! Our unit stopped cooling-I called and it was after 5 so I was expecting to leave a message . Cadie answered and booked an appointment and Charlie was on site by noon the next day to find the unit had a coil leak. The next morning Charlie was here to get the crew started and a new unit was installed in 3 hours! We were offered a great new purchase price with 10 year warranty and we are cool again! Charlie called to make sure all went well for us and Cadie has sent us all the warranty papers and filed the manufacturer warranty. This company cares about their customers! Highly recommend their VIP program.

We needed to replace both our air conditioners and heaters. After talking to six other vendors, I decided to go with Dalton Air and Heat. Charlie came out and discussed my current situation and his recommendations for the replacement systems. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions regarding the equipment and installation process. Cadie was very helpful in scheduling the install at a convenient time for us. On install day Jose and crew showed up on time and went right to work. They worked carefully and neatly throughout the whole process. Charlie and Aaron came by several times to check progress on the job. Aaron was very polite and conscientious. Needless to say, we are very happy with Dalton Air and Heat. I recently had my new ac install with Dalton in February, after doing a lot of research, and pricing, I went with this company and don’t regret it. They have had follow ups with me as I travel a bit for work. The crew that installed, Danny, answered all my question I had for him with my new 2 stage American standard AC system. Then, I was happy the owner came to do an inspection and quick adjustment to my system and was satisfied with there customer service. I would definitely recommend this company. Very satisfying experience with Dalton A/C & Heating! Had an issue with A/C late one afternoon. They scheduled a service tech the following morning at 10am. Aaron showed up on time, was very professional and informative. Checked out my entire system, took plenty of pictures on his tablet to reference as he explained what he observed and what he found to be cause of my issue. Replaced a faulty component, recommended a preventive measure (surge protector) to prevent potential future failure of same component. Recommendations didn’t feel like pressured upsell and he left it up to me to make decision. Quickly made repairs/improvements and A/C was operating normally within a short time.Overall great experience. Would highly recommend to anyone needing A/C or Heating system service. My neighbor recommended Dalton AC when I was having an issue with my AC and I am so glad I called them. Keenan came out to check out the issue I was having and being the AC was already 18 years old, I did not have high hopes it would be an easy fix. Keenan was very professional and a very nice man. He sent me several quotes the same day on a new AC and a quote to fix the problem. I decided to go with a new one since it was already so old. They scheduled to install the new one 2 days later. They arrived on time and worked very hard to get the new unit put in. I was very impressed and satisfied with Dalton AC and all the employees. Customer service, Cadie was very nice and helpful. They cleaned up all the old duct work in my attic and installed the new unit outside on an elevated platform. I would never use anyone but Dalton. Quality matters!! I have been a customer of Dalton Air Conditioning & Heating since 2004, and they have always been courteous, thorough and on schedule. I was recently persuaded to allow another company to do the springtime check-up on my AC. Their technician told me that even though my unit was only two years old, the capacitor was badly corroded and would stop working very soon. Instead of agreeing to let them replace it, I called Dalton the next morning for a second opinion. Charlie came out that afternoon, and after a thorough inspection, told me that the capacitor was fine and that my AC was in good shape. As he was preparing to leave, I casually mentioned that the only thing I didnt like about the unit was the fact that the fan was too loud, but I had gotten used to it. I had always assumed that nothing could be done about it, but Charlie said that he would try to lower the volume for me, and he was successful in doing so. Very pleasant.I would like to know why when Charlie service my unit back in March 17, 2021 he did not state that anything was going wrong with my unit or any leaks. But now 4 months later I was told by Keenan that I had a small leak and the Freon was low. The unit is 7 yrs old the end of this month and never was told that the Freon was low.Keenan came on 2/22/22 and replaced the expansion valve on my unit and service my unit. Keenan is so pleasant and explained to me what all he did to service the unit. Dalton Air Conditioning is the best.My AC unit was making a loud noise I called Cadie and she was able to schedule me the same day even though my maintenance wasnt until June 8th. James Dalton the owner came right on out and fixed and service my unit. Dalton Air Conditioning is the best. I recommend them for any air conditioning needs.My AC unit was dripping from the secondary line and unit was just running all day. I know its been very hot days. I called Cadie and she got me scheduled right away for Charlie to come and check it out. Charlie explained to me while my house not cooling off as quickly due to the Temps outside and the attic holding alot of heat from the roof. Dalton AC & Heating is the best.On June 26th Jose came out and replaced the compressor. He was very nice and answered my questions. I know since I was without AC yesterday until the repair was done today it will take time for the house to completely cool off. I particularly want to give them KUDOS for work this week. We had a routine maintenance visit scheduled for Wednesday. However, the compressor on our 15 year old unit decided it was time to quit. The tech explained what happened and gave us options and prices. By Thursday evening, our house was being cooled by a new system. Quality reviews led me to go with Dalton, and I can say that I am also very satisfied with the job. The crew encountered a slow drain and stayed until that drain was clear and I was satisfied. The complete job was done in a day. I can hardly hear the new unit running which now has me considering replacement of my upstairs unit. I don’t usually do reviews but I feel Dalton needs one. Our AC just sort of stopped working and I called to make an appointment, hoping for the next day at least. Katie was a sweetheart on the phone and I felt was truly empathetic to our situation. To my surprise she did have an appointment for the next day and setting it up was not only easy but she followed it up with an email with ALL the details! I have had bad experiences with emails not matching times and promises that don’t happen, so this was a nice surprise! Katie called me about 2 hours later and I was nervous she was moving our appointment, I was not wrong but pleasantly surprised she was calling to see if today would work because she had a tech become free. I was super happy, especially since it’s 99° today and we have no AC. Keenan arrived on time and was SUPER pleasant to talk to and deal with, was fully and clearly knowledgeable while explaining his findings. Unfortunately repair won’t be an option but he did patch us up for the night so we could be less uncomfortable tonight. Keenan again gave us a ton of info on new units without any pressure and even suggested we wouldn’t “have” to replace both now (we have 2 units) but it will happen in the future. We did a little research and found everything Keenan had shared with us was not only accurate but also in line with any other company I called. We had ZERO issue deciding to purchase our new units through them. Also to my surprise, it was about 4:00pm when this all happened, they will be here tomorrow to install them!!! I can’t wait to follow up this review with an equally praising review about the installation! If I could give more stars I would!

Back in August, during the hottest part of the year, my home AC went out. I should have known the end was near. It was underperforming and costing more money with each passing month trying keep the house cool prior to the outage. It was clear that I needed a new system. I called several companies for quotes and their asking price were simply outrageous. Then I came across Dalton Air Conditioning in a web search, crossed my fingers, and gave them a called. Literally minutes after I called Mr. Dalton himself came by the house to check out the system. He gave me a quote that was several thousands of dollars less than the other companies I was quoted for. He took the time to explain the process and addressed my concerns. And more importantly he and his team was there the next day for the install. The new system is working very efficiently and as promised, my monthly utility costs are cut in half! Money well spent for the foreseeable future. Dalton Air Conditioning is a wonderful company, a great and fair group of guys that Id recommend to everyone.

In Houston it’s hard to get a technician out because everyone is having HVAC issues with this heat. One of my air conditioning units had repeated maintenance issues with another (larger) HVAC company, so I contacted Dalton HVAC for their professional opinion. After a thorough look over, they agreed the unit had reached end of life, and needed replacement. They provided quotes on several different unit options at different efficiency levels from two different manufacturers. They took the time to explain the benefits vs cost of each item. After my wife and I made a decision, they were able to overcome some delivery issues (thanks Covid) and the system was installed today. I am very happy with the customer service of the office staff and installation of the new system. Everyone I have come in contact with has been very professional and I have no regrets. I can’t thank the entire crew from Dalton enough. The crew worked throughout the day to replace my A/C system all in one day so we wouldn’t be out of our home. The old system was poorly installed and was constantly a problem. Keenan and James did a thorough review of the system and presented me with several options to meet my needs and my budget. These guys took no shortcuts and everything looks super clean and professional. All of the installers were friendly and courteous as they moved throughout the house with us still being around. Honestly, I never a write review unless the company really deserves it. Dalton Air has really exceed my expectations. Our brand new 1.5 year old home A/C decided not to work one day. Home warranty decided to do absolutely nothing about it. They refused to cover or send anyone to fix the issue (FYI never buy a KB home; warranty is a complete joke). Anyways, Charlie and Joe came out to diagnose the problem after a through investigation. They both came inside our house with a mask, shoe coverings, and kept a safe distance from us the entire time. Charlie explained everything to us in perfect detail and gave us his honest opinion. We felt no pressure whatsoever. My husband and I decided to purchase a new American Standard condenser unit and dampers to save ourselves from any headaches in the future. It was definitely worth every single penny. Cadie was also prompt in getting our warranty registered and city permit for us. Dennis and his crew came out to install our unit. They treated our home with respect by covering our floors and clean up after themselves. Charlie called the following day to make sure the installation went well. Dalton Air has a 5 star google review for a reason. Their customer service is top notch. Don’t waste your time and money anywhere else!

At the recommendation of a neighbor I called Dalton AC on a Sunday, but not just any Sunday - it was the Sunday before the 4th of July. I fully expected to have to wait until the following Tuesday to have my AC unit serviced, so I was pleasantly surprised when the tech (I believe it was Charlie) told me hed be out the following day (a holiday!) to take a look at my outside unit.The repair was performed quickly and at a fair price. Charlie also inspected my inside unit as a courtesy. He wasnt pushy and didnt try to hard sell me on any additional services. He simply told me what condition my unit was in and gave some recommended courses of action I may want to consider in the coming months/years.Ive used several AC companies over the years and have never been pleased or impressed enough with any one company that Ive called them out more than once. That will certainly change with Dalton. Theyll be my first and only call from now on.

I am in the process of selling a house and the buyers inspector came back with a list of items that needed to be inspected and/or repaired on our AC system. I called Dalton Air Conditioning and Heating, they scheduled a technician (Keenan) to come out the next morning. They called 1 hour before the scheduled time to let me know that Keenan was in route to my house. The tech was very well mannered and presentable. I gave Keenan the inspection report showing the problems that were identified by the inspector. He said that he would confirm that the items listed were in fact problems and also do a full assessment of the heating and cooling system. After he completed the assessment we went though the findings. Now at this point i am thinking that this is about to cost me a lot, because my AC unit is old like decades old. Then Keenan told me the price to make the repairs. I was shocked that the price was so low in comparison to the list of items that needed to be fixed. I even asked if he was sure that that price was correct. He said yes, everything is included in the quote and I can get it done today. With the price being so reasonable i did not see the need to get a second quote from another AC company, and told Keenan to go ahead start the work. Several hours later the work was complete. I will be recommending Daltons to everyone. Reasonable prices and great service.

Bottom line: Choose Dalton Air Conditioning and Heating LLC, and you will be so glad you did.My 25 year old—twice repaired A/C went out on July 14. It wasn’t a shock to us that it was the compressor this time and that it would require a major investment to either repair or replace. I called 6 local businesses to get estimates. The first charged a $70 fee for their time and trouble, which is reasonable. Once the issue was identified, a few others were willing to give me a ballpark estimate (so I could confirm I was in the correct ballpark, at least!). One came in with a significantly lower estimate—- but could not do an onsight estimate for 4 days or schedule the work for at least 3 weeks. (That sure wasn’t the best option for us!) Another told me, “If I was looking for ballpark figures to see whose quote came in lowest, then they probably weren’t the service for us.” ( I thanked him for his honesty and promptly hung up!). Another was extremely helpful on what questions to ask, but was out of town until Monday. All in all….I know this type of service is in very high demand in the heat of summer, and quite truthfully, I wasn’t at all certain we could make the best decision given our compromised state of need.Then, there was Dalton! When Cadie answered the phone, she was absolutely intent on ensuring we had the best information possible in the least amount of time. She was able to give us the ballpark figures we needed, but also offered to come out immediately and supply a free estimate. James, who is an owner, but would never tell you that himself, came out to perform that service. He started from A-Z and confirmed that it was the A/C compressor—— took pictures of a few other issues (like frayed wires) that needed to replaced, and even recommended the installation of a surge protector within the unit.He showed me 4 estimates that ranged from replacement of the A/C only to replacement of the entire A/C heating and cooling system with varied Seer and speeds of equipment, and then emailed them to us so we could discuss our options privately on our own.Now, you might think that it was his pricing that sold us—-because even with all the upgrades he recommended, he was still nearly $2000 dollars less than my first paid quote for a complete A/C and heating replacement. Don’t get me wrong…that was a nice incentive….but that wasn’t what tipped the scales for us.We chose Dalton because we were 100% confident that our best long-term interests were at the forefront of their minds. James COULD have saved us more. He showed us what the add ins were that could have been removed if we were short on funds….but he saw the big picture and personalized to our needs. Then, he committed his work crew to do the work the next morning….on a Saturday. He even called the supplier, in advance, to ensure that all materials for each recommended repairs/replacements were available.We spent only one night in our home without A/C.James and the crew came in the next morning and within about 5 hours, we were up and running.While that may be the end of most service stories, I’d like to add on a few personal thoughts. First, I’d like to say that James is not only a fine technician in his chosen field, but he is also clearly a fine man. His care for his crew (and of us) was highly evident. He wasn’t satisfied with the type of thermostat that was selected for the job, so he personally went and bought a model that he felt would be better suited for our use, and wound up being an added savings. (An unexpected perk.) He texted and called after installation was finished to ensure the cooling continued, and made certain we could reach him at any time. There were multiple kind gestures made by James on our behalf that I won’t detail here as they were clearly above and beyond normal service and were not an expected result.This much I can say…. We won’t consider anyone else for our A/C and heating needs as long as Dalton Air Conditioning and Heating LLC is serving In Pearland!

They presented us with more options than other companies and gave us a thorough explanation on which route we should take on the replacement of our older unit. We had a power surge recently and it fried our compressor. Dalton Air came out the very next day at 8:30 am on a Sunday! They fixed the problem but not before setting up portable AC units so we could be comfortable. They installed a completely new compressor (under warranty) and outfitted us with a surge protector. I would recommend this local Pearland company to anyone in the area. They are the epitome of how a small business should be run. They really do care!

After having another AC company claim my entire system needed to be replaced (inside, outside, everything) for a cost of almost $12,000, Charlie performed an inspection of the system and diagnosed the problem as simply a valve that was restricting the flow of refrigerant through the system. They agreed to perform the install of the new part the next day, which happened to be after hours on a Saturday afternoon/evening. With a lot of scumbag companies (Abacus) out there trying to squeeze every last dime out of potential customers, I cant recommend Dalton A/C enough. Their willingness to diagnose and fix the problem as opposed to a total rip and replace saved me almost $11,000.
