I stayed here with three of my daughters for a quick Hillcountry getaway over spring break and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and being close enough to town where you can just hop down the road and grab groceries or whatever you need if you need to. Beautiful spot with plenty of room and everything you could possibly need. Excellent grilling area. We loved the fire pit and making s’mores and looking at the stars at night. We will be back!

My children and I had the best experience at the Yates Compound 53. We stayed for 4 nights and did not want to leave. The owners were incredible!! Shannon and her father Jim spoke to me on the phone, made sure everything was perfect for our stay and went above and beyond to help us with everything from the house to entertainment. I highly recommend booking with them and I cant wait to go back and spend more time there!

Superlative accommodations! Beautiful cabin in the Hills not far from the Frio River. Contentious and accommodating host. Well maintained property supporting abundant wildlife. Many nice whitetail deer seen. Several well placed box blinds with feeders. Would not hesitate to visit again!
