    Nice park. The bath house needs a major makeover. The hot tub wasent working. Besides that it is a nice park. We stop there on our way to florida every year.

    We arrived on island by farrie and drove straight to Tropic Island less than a 1/4 miles away to fill our water tank to dry camp on the beach. We then stopped back by 5 days later to empty our blavk and gray tanks. Charged $10.00 to fill the water tank and $10.00 to dump tanks on the way out. Very nice people and easy in and out.

    I’ve been staying on the beach for about a month so far, but had generator issues; therefore, I needed “shore power” for a few days. It’s a few blocks up the road from the beach and very convenient.I originally had stopped in there to dump my tanks before I had generator issues.All staff was extremely friendly with great energy…especially the young lady and the manager (I assume.). They were always very helpful with all the silly questions that I had.I was expecting the pool to be lukewarm bath water temperature, but to my surprise- it was very refreshing. I did not get into the hot tub.WiFi was pretty strong and it was nice to get some things done without using my hotspot.Roads were a little narrow, but I had no problem with my 29 foot motor home in my Jeep on tow. The mosquitoes surprised me as I didn’t experience any ON the beach, but they left me alone after putting on some OFF spray.My experience was incredibly positive and I really appreciated all their assistance and hospitality.

    We absolutely love Island RV. We are ready to make it our full time location for our travel trailer. It is so well maintained, a very family orientation place. Great friendly staff from front office to park hosts. Everyone is always ready to help and take care of you. It is in a great location with the friendliest campers. We so not know a stranger here. Great place!!!!

    This place is amazing! We have been going there for over 10 years and love it. The staff is great. Everone is friendly weather they are permanent weekender or the ones we see every year. The maintenance of the grass, lots, pool is the best. The lots may be a little tight but they guide you in and out. This year we got the larger lot and was able to park our F250 truck and 6 seater golf cart side by side behind our 36 ft trailer. Its close to ferry, beaches, restaurants, shopping. The prices are the best in town. I cant say enough. Why go anywhere else.

    Here for a month. Check in was easy and fast. I was concerned about getting my rig in on the small roads but they got me in easily and we were set. The 30 amp plug at our site was faulty and they were there to replace the plug within 5 minutes! Everyone here is so nice and the park is well maintained ! Pool, hot tub and grounds are immaculate. Great laundry room with AC (a must in the heat) Look forward to coming back and we have not even left yet!

    This is a very tightly parked RV community but I love how they make it work. I cant speak on many of the amenities because we didnt access them, such as the pool, bathrooms, clubhouse, wifi, or cable. We stayed from Friday to Monday and experienced great customer service. I was a little skeptical on how we were going to fit not only our 29 foot RV but our wide-hipped dually truck. John was amazing!!! He guided and directed us like a seasoned pro!! It was great to watch. He knew exactly what he was doing. We fit perfectly. The spaces are very tight and our slide was inches away from the neighbor, but it wasnt an issue. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We spent most of our time at the beach so there was no use for the amenities we didnt use. This resort was excellent for our hookups and the minimals we needed. We will definitely choose to stay here when we return to Port Aransas.

    Great place for RV camping. Park host and staff are nice to deal with. Space is very confined (small & tight), but is very manageable.Weve stayed here numerous times without issue. Amenities are available, with a key, to be able to shower other than your RV.

    This RV resort is for those that prefer cleanliness and quiet observation hours. This is a very tranquil place with friendly faces. They accommodate both full-time and occasional visitors. The bath house is always cleaned between 10-11 a.m. like clockwork. Pull is cleaned daily. Plenty of walking space and beautiful breezes. You can easily walk to downtown shops and youre just a mile or so to ocean access. You have multiple options to eat nearby. There is great ice cream shop nearby for a cool treat. Many fulltimers I see every year when I visit. That speaks volumes.

    I have stayed at this park several times in the last three years, and I always have a very satisfactory experience. The staff are friendly, and they have accommodated my late arrival more than once; just be sure to call to let them know. The sites are more generously spaced than many places I have camped, and each has picnic table and a small lawn. The restroom / shower facilities are clean and well maintained which is key as I usually stay in my pop-up camper trailer. WiFi is typically slow, but it does work consistently. Also, there is a decent sized pool for guests, or a very nice community pool about 100 yards from the property.If you dont have a trailer, consider staying in one of their nicely refurbished Airstreams. We did once, and it was a very cool experience. Much more character than a motel room at about the same price.

    Very helpful and friendly, concrete, no shade and tight spots and stickers in the grass. Was nicely maintained, Cable was fuzzy at best but decent wifi. Convenient to shops and restaurants, lots of golf cart rentals in area.

    Quiet, well maintained, and clean. Pool and Hot Tub are great, but its the people made our stay so much fun and relaxing!

    A Nice friendly RV site that we stayed for three days. Power 30Amp was a little on the low side at 107volts but just had to switch of the water heater to use the microwave while the AC ran the whole time. It was a bit cramped for space and I had to park my truck just outside the park instead of behind the camper. No big deal. The Golf cart rental was right next door and gave us a really good 3 day rate possibly because we were staying in the same park they live during the summer months. Golf carts are allowed to be parked by your camper. Most RV spots are already full and I expect most live there due to work but all are friendly and helpful. there is a dog park and community Rec area with pool within walking distance and the San Jaun Mexican food restaurant is just down the street. My family will visit this spot again and perhaps make it a yearly tradition.

    Well maintained RV park. Beautiful green grass. Upgrading the pool and bath house would be a strong selling point. Make sure to bring your driving skills, its a tight fit to drive in and out.

    This is a tight knit community in all aspects, meaning it has small spaces, but has a great community feeling. This is a warm, friendly, community that doesnt mind being close together. The property is well maintained and management is very helpful.

    Nice place. Management was friendly. The room was comfortable and the pool area was really nice. We met some cool people. Only downfall : pool closed at 10pm. But we will be back when we return again in the fall.

    The park is almost back to normal!! The re-sodding is almost done! The pool,hot tub and bathrooms and showers are up and running!! The clubhouse is just about done!! Most of the winter texans are back and the rest will be here the first of the new year!! The staff are working hard to get the park back to normal! The spots are a little close but plenty of room for awnings and decks besides you wont find a more friendly bunch of people on the island!! This is our 3rd winter here and we will be back every winter lord willing!!We lost some eating places to Harvey but there are still plenty of them left for a variety of cusine. Cleanup and rebuilding go on every day, fishing and the beach are in good shape!! Bait and tackle will be available before the end of the year so dont let that detour you from coming back!! Last but not least we have a new wi-fi that works great in the whole park!!

    We lived at this RV Park for 6 months while waiting for our to be built in Corpus Christi. Its a really nice, clean RV park. I recommend it if your looking for a RV park i Port A.

    We have been here for 2 months now and we love it.as far as the internet goes i have no clue what the others are talking about but the internet here is faster then ANY of the rv parks we have been in the last year up and down I10.the Park is Kept VERY Clean and the grounds are kept up, it is quite and the staff are very friendly in my opinion. I was told they are very strict here concerning the rules but i have not seen any rules that are different then other parks, just common sense. and the rates for the stay here are great.we will be staying here as long as we can.and i highly recommend this place to any one.Troy Cates

    Great facility, great staff and resomable prices. I dont know where to start praising Island RV Resort. I had a great time here over the winter and plan to return again next year. Great for winter Texans, Snowbirds and Families!!! Dont pass this place up for another in the area you will regret it.

    1st time here during the winter months, lots of activities going on: Pokeeno, Bingo, potlucks, fairly priced breakfast & lunch menus on organized days, dutch trips to local eateries, occasionally a live band, guests gather for Thanksgiving meal & Christmas dinner, pool & hot tub remain open till 10pm, clean men & womens shower house & bathrooms, pool bands required to be worn in the pool area which I do not mind at all, theres a laundry room w 4 washers & 6 dryers, front office open 7 days a week 9am-5pm, quarters for laundry available in the front office, park kept very clean, fish cleaning house on the premises, grass & edging neat, pet friendly on a leash of course, rec center has lounging area w a TV living room set up w basic cable, honor system little library, puzzles, board games, complimentary coffee, 50 amp, all pull through sites, complimentary Wi-Fi could definitely use a major boost in their speed, some spaces are tight, dog park access less than a 2 min walk, community heated pool right behind rv park, nature preserve in walking distance, its less than 1 mile from the beach, restaurants in walking distance, golf carts permitted on the premises which I think is totally cool, golf cart rentals all over the island, strict 5 mph in the park, staff hosts pretty friendly, Ive noticed the park has lots of committed annual returning guests-5-10-15+yrs, thats awesome! Manager runs a tight ship! Just like anywhere, follow the rules, no problems.
