Found this property on Air BnB for our company to stay at during a dental conference in San Antonio last year. The property was beautiful and offered the perfect space for our sales team and to have dinner with everyone. Front porch was very relaxing and the place was extremely clean and decorated beautifully. HUGE spacious kitchen! Todd was the perfect host and we will most definitely contact Todd next time we are in San Antonio!

We were in town for a family event downtown in San Antonio, and the Dawson Estate was the perfect and comfy location for our retreat. We were looking for a place in close proximity to downtown, but away from the congestion, and hopefully a nice relaxing spot. This place met all these requirements, and then some. The restoration of this home was done with great care, and we were very happy with places to eat in easy walking distance! With our great experience at Dawson Estate as an example, I would be very interested in staying at other SA Historic rental homes when future occasions to visit arise!

Such a very cute house! Very modern, and updated yet still feels cozy and warm. Has a big front porch where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings, and the backyard is very fun for lounging! We had a girls weekend here and enjoyed how close the home was to Pearl District. We stayed in May so it was too hot to walk, but parking wasn’t too bad. Overall GREAT stay!

We stayed in the Highland House for a wedding weekend and this is a great home! Todd and his family were sweet to leave us a welcome goody bag with cookies. We needed the space for the bridal partys hair and makeup - a hotel just wasnt going to be big enough. Weddings are stressful enough without having to squeeze into tiny spaces in order to get ready. This house was perfect. It has a lovely gazebo in the back where we had the rehearsal dinner. Plenty of space and close to downtown. Awesome place!

We were all very impressed by our rental home. It was modern, clean, and newly renovated with nice decor. Spacious enough for a family of seven and only a few minutes drive from downtown. Most importantly, the hosts were very generous and responded immediately to any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

I stayed at this house for Memorial Day weekend with 6 of my friends and it was awesome! The house was decorated super cute and everything was very clean. There was more than enough space for each of us and we loved the cowboy pool in the backyard :) Its also in the PERFECT location. Very close to all of the main attractions in San Antonio. Would definitely recommend others to stay here!

This home was absolutely lovely. It was in perfect condition and so nicely updated. Loved the style and feel. Enjoyed sitting on the front and back porches. The only reason I didnt give this a 5-star rating is because the neighborhood, like most downtown San Antonio neighborhoods, is still in transition, and having to walk through the master bedroom and master bathroom to get to the 4th bedroom wasnt ideal. However, this layout was clearly stated in the description on the web site. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it highly.

This stay was perfect for our family! The living spaces were great, kitchen was great (and yes we cooked several nights) outdoors spaces provided us with the ability to RELAX and recharge - Thank God for Rocking Chairs. The Neighborhood was quiet peaceful - Local business were within walking distance! Be sure to walk to Burger Boy if you like Burgers, fries & shakes!Stay here... Be Happy

We had a great time staying here. We were in San Antonio for a medical conference during which this rental was perfect for us. It was me and three other colleagues, we had ample room and great amenities. The house had a modern touch, and was very spacious. It was also very close to all the venues we were looking to visit, especially the conference center.The owner is also very accommodating. Todd was easily accessible, and was able to give us great tips to be in and around the city.I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting San Antonio.

In March 2018 we stayed at Todd’s Highland home. 4 adult couples were comfortably accommodated in this clean well stocked home. We enjoyed family time together as well as the many great sights of San Antonio. The kitchen was well furnished with appliances needed to fix our own meals. The Patio is a beautiful place to linger with a pre-meal cocktail or glass of wine. Plenty of off road parking and a locking gate to ease any security concerns. The additional cottage was comfortable as well.As a host, Todd was quick to respond with any questions we had.We would stay at this property again.

Stayed at the Dewey Place house in Tobin Hill for one week in September. We were a group of 7 ladies and had plenty of room. The A/C was great as it was very hot outside. The cowboy pool in the backyard was also a nice way to cool off. The historical craftman house was very nicely decorated with original wood floors and rocking chairs on the front pouch. The Pearl district, river walk and Alamo were within walking distance however in September it was still very warm so we did take Ubers some days. Lots of unique restaurants and bars in the area. Hotel Emma and The Best Quality Daughter restaurant in the Pearl district are recommended.

Our niece got married in her home town of San Antonio in Nov 2017. We were looking to rent a home for our family to stay in, instead of renting multiple hotel rooms. This home was perfect! Plenty of room for 6 adults and one toddler - and the owner even purchased a pack-n-play for our grandson to sleep in! We enjoyed the proximity to the Pearl and it was a short drive to the River Walk and the Alamo. We thoroughly enjoyed our multi-night stay here and would highly recommend!

My stay at Todd’s was nothing short of amazing. Not only was it stylish and comfy, it was very spacious! My family of over 12, and I, were able to sleep comfortably. There was a perfect amount of towels, pillows ,linen and toiletries. The outside covered area was tons of fun. It was a safe place for the children to play, and enough comfortable seating for the adults to hang out.

Our 3 generations family of 7 had a wonderful experience. The Highland House was located close to downtown and all the Missions.We went quickly to many attractions. Their helpful guide gave us help finding many different sites to visit.The house was very clean and spacious. We had a great time staying in this adorable home located just minutes from downtown. We enjoyed the location and spent our mornings sitting on the front porch enjoying the park across the street. Would definitely recommend this home for your travel plans. We had three couples who all stayed here. Plenty of room and very nicely decorated.

Our girls trip was absolutely perfect! The owner gave us a list of recommendations of things to do while there and I think we hit them all. The house setup was perfect for long conversations and lots of laughter. If we had any questions the owners response time was immediate. We adored the locals, the atmosphere and the location was perfect. The house decor was charming and we felt right at home. The bedrooms and beds were great and bathrooms were huge which was perfect for 7 females to get ready in. We would definately recommend this house!

This beautiful property is far more lovely and well cared for then the photos suggest. The wonderfully outfitted kitchen allowed us to cook easily. We loved the shampoo and soaps provided, and we were so thankful for the laundry and the detergent.Todd responded immediately to all questions, and he truly loves his job and the property.We would certainly stay here again if we return to San Antonio!

We stayed here for a long weekend in SA. We had our toddler and my in-laws with us and it was a PERFECT house for all of us. It was clean, comfortable and nicely updated with plenty of space for us to spread out. It’s well located and an easy walk to restaurants, riverwalk and the Alamo. Highly recommend to others!

I stayed two nights in this beautiful home. I combed through hundreds of listings looking for a place for a little mini-vacation (I live 30 minutes away) and a chance to visit with a friend. I chose this place because, from the photos, it appeared to have soul. It did! Its beautifully remodeled/restored and the warmth and heart of the 100 year old home was preserved. Wonderfully creaky, original floors. The bed (I slept in the master) was so comfortable. I didnt get to use the Cowboy Pool because we had a much needed rainstorm come through the afternoon/evening that I was there but did get to enjoy sitting on the huge. covered front porch. Just the perfect place.When I checked in, I found that water from the a/c unit in attic was dripping down through the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms. One of the owners responded within minutes to my text and the a/c repair guy was there within an hour (on a Sunday). Cant ask for a better response than that!

I was looking for a unique venue for our daughters baby shower in February. Nothing run of the mill or hotel-like would do. The Grayson Estate was absolutely perfect for us. And Todd answered every question I had so that I could plan down to very last detail (How big is the dining room table? How many chairs can I fit into the living room?) And I am a HUGE history buff, so I LOVED having the Fort Sam Houston Quadrangle right across the street in the historic Government Hill area of our lovely San Antonio!

We really enjoyed the stay, it is very close to river walk. The house is super clean and we really loved the decorations. Huge kitchen and comfy dining area. Safe and quiet. There were a few teenagers playing outside late at night in the park which is right across the street but otherwise it was fine.

Such a beautifully updated historic home with a lot of charm, modern amenities and decor!Todd with SA was very responsive and willing to accommodate if needed. The whole process from beginning of stay until the end was extremely smooth. This house was amazing. It was absolutely beautiful. We flew in from California for my mother-in -laws funeral and the house was used for family members from all over the United States. The funeral service venue had water damage so the big back yard was used for the entire family. We will definitely rent this house again the next time we come back to San Antonio. Hats off to Todd for making this unfortunate experience a lot more comfortable.

The house is conveniently located within walking distance to SA attractions such as the River Walk and the Pearl area. Todd wins Best Host hands down!! We, 7 ladies, stayed in his gorgeous San Antonio house and were greeted with a fantastic hospitality basket full of munchables from the area, and sparkling waters. Todd called to make sure that we had made it in, and gave us several great recommendations for restaurants along the Riverwalk. The furnishings inside were top of the line. The kitchen contained everything we needed and then some! The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The large outdoor patio was lovely but we werent able to use it much because we were there in September and it was quite warm. One of our guests did use the back Guest House and it was wonderful as well. Getting to the Pearl Brewery area and Riverwalk was a very easy drive. We also visited El Luchador, the neighborhood bar. Very happy we decided to do that. It was quite fun!This was my best VRBO experience ever! This house is truly a gem, and again, Todd is the best host!!

Stayed here with a group of colleagues for a convention in downtown. Location is great. Walking distance to downtown. Living / kitchen area is fantastic. Also, the back yard space is great. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first, but no problems at all and never felt unsafe. Can’t beat the location and value of this house. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Leigh Cottage was amazing! We chose this home because of its location and how close it is to Lackland AF base. We were attending graduation for my Airman. It’s location is easy to find and the area offers many wonderful restaurants, an HEB, and easy access to the Riverwalk. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The home itself is dreamy. Its roomy open concept floor plan is perfect for families to enjoy their stay. There are three large bedrooms, each with it’s own closet and dressers, big beautiful windows to let light in but also the perfect window shades to keep light out when wanting to sleep in. The master bathroom is straight out of a hotel design. The second bathroom is large and also very well designed. The kitchen has gorgeous countertops and a large granite sink. An added bonus for us was that the kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked with paper goods, soaps, towels, etc. we didn’t have time to shop for anything, so we really appreciated that. The beds are very comfortable and extra linens are provided. There is also free, hi speed WiFi. For guests who enjoy spending time grilling and hanging out, the back yard is set up just for that! It was 30 degrees during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy that part, sadly. This home is perfect and CLEAN! My family and I agree that we will definitely stay here again. It’s host is amazing and helped us with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying at Leigh Cottage.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved it. You cannot beat the location, we were so close to everything. The house has been redone and it is so open and very comfortable. Most importantly, the cleanliness of this house is superb. This is a great place to stay for a nice getaway in San Antonio.

This was a nicely decorated spacious house that was very comfortable for our group of 6 women to stay in for our first trip to San Antonio. The owners, Todd and Ryan were available to us by phone anytime we needed them. After requesting a few things, they saw to it that we had extra towels, hangers, and an additional hairdryer. They even provided some snacks which we appreciated. The location was good, just a short Uber ride from anything we did in downtown SA. When we first arrived, we were happy to learn that Dignowity Meats was less than a block away so we could grab some lunch! (Very good BBQ place) The only thing we had some difficulty with was the differing temperatures throughout the house. We hit a cold spell, and some of the rooms were way too hot and some too cold. It is an old house that has been remodeled nicely, so I suppose you might expect to put up with some of those issues. Thanks to Todd and Ryan for a great stay!

Stayed here for a girls long weekend. The house was perfect for us. Very comfortable and a great location on a quiet street, but an easy 20 minute walk into downtown. The hosts even went out of their way to mail us something that was left behind. I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to San Antonio

I rented a property for a business trip I had in San Antonio and it was great. The place looked exactly like the pictures, very clean. I was able to check in early and Todd was very responsive when I messaged him. When I booked this property ,it was during the time COVID had places shutting down. I booked this house for a week but due to our job site closing down, I was only able to stay for two days. I reached out to Todd and they credited us the extra days back. I will definitely refer Todd’s properties to everyone. I will also be staying with them again.

Beautiful, spacious house with great amenities! TONS of space, deceptively large house with second floor balcony and great outdoor seating. Came for a conference with a large party and was a much better value than a hotel. Luchador is steps away and is a great spot for evening drinks! Everything was sparkling clean, large beds, and comfortable. Hosts were quick to get back to us, would stay again!

We rented the Dawson Estate home for a long weekend in San Antonio. The home was very clean, comfortable, modern but with plenty of character and supper stylish! We all love the decor and attention to detail, they even included a welcome basket! The location was perfect with ample parking, quiet with friendly neighbors. We were able to take an Uber of Lyft quickly and easily to Riverwalk, El Mercado and Pearl Brewery. Booking was easy online and I felt the price we paid was VERY reasonable. Next time I visit San Antonio I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at the Grayson Estate for a Girls Trip. We loved it! Centrally located - we walked to dinner every night. Granted, we should have taken advantage of the kitchen which is nicer than mine. I personally loved the porch and rocking chairs. The visitor guide was extensive. And we enjoyed the selection of games.

I came for a family graduation and it was downtown at the stadium. The location was very close to the stadium so we didn’t have to drive. Food is a little far since we’re downtown, but not too worrisome since all the food was incomparable to Houston food 😁The location was very homey and my parents, bothered and myself really enjoyed our stay. We were able to make home meals with all the appliances left available to us.Would recommend if you want something homey and make meals at home.

My family and I visited San Antonio for a mini Spring Break vacay. Two adults and five kids, and the space of the Airbnb was enough room for us to spread out and relax. Had a great time at this cozy,,comfortable home. The area is a short drive to the Riverwalk, Alamo, Missions shops, eateries & more. The house is well stocked with all you need.The cowboy pool was very enjoyable in the evening after going out all day, very relaxing. Also check out Rosarios restaurant you wont be disappointed. Fun time :)

House itself was good, the layout was good for our needs and the house was well stocked, needs a bit of work air handler was very loud, squeaky door on the dishwasher, ice maker didnt make ice so we bought a bag of ice. The location I would say isnt in the greatest of neighborhoods dont make a wrong turn you might not like where you end up. Also the train runs fairly close by and you can hear the train horn about every 2 hours and they arent shy in blowing it either, if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. We walked downtown on our first day and saw lots of people living in tents under the interstate, so when we went out at night we drove and paid for parking downtown. We felt safe in numbers walking during the day, San Antonio is a fun place to visit,, this was my 2nd time there the riverwalk is great.

We had a great stay here and highly recommend it. Great location and easily accessible to all area attractions. We have a family of 6, so on vacation we are much more comfortable in a vacation rental rather than a few hotel rooms or an overpriced suite.We were able to spread out and enjoy the space. We spent time lounging and reading on the front porch and after walking home from a nearby bbq joint we relaxed and had a family movie night. Owner is responsive and prompt to reply. Don’t delay, book today.

I organized a bachelorette weekend and we stayed at the Dawson Estate airbnb. Todd was very helpful and easy to work with. The house was clean upon arrival and accommodating of our group of 11. The hosts left a goodie basket and freshly made chocolate chip cookies. I thought that was very sweet and thoughtful. The house was unique in design and very fitting for the special occasion of celebrating my friend. I would recommend this house!

This was great for us. There were six of us and fit great. The Casita was outstanding. The stairs were a little much for us old people with knee replacements, but nothing for people under 60. It would not be a problem for others if in good shape. The place was within walking distance to fast food.We had only two issues, not knowing how to control the thermostat and the show in the Casita clogged. We called the owners and both issues were taken care of very quickly and efficiently.Everything was clean, and easily accessible. The kitchen was great we could have several people cooking at the same time.Again, great house, Casita and a great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed at one of their places with our families when we got married. It was a wonderful experience. The house was in impeccable condition, clean and had every amenity needed to enjoy a family wedding. We were also able to check in early and check out late without paying an extra fee which was much appreciated when my family’s flights home were disrupted. 10/10!

This was a super cute place I stayed with family for our visit to San Antonio. It was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do including the needle, six flags and river walk. It was a very clean place and the fenced in area helped us fill secure. We a had time trying to find the towels and wash cloths but other than that no complaints!

Loved this hidden gem. We were a group of 6 adults (2 couples, 2 singles). This was the perfect spot. Plenty of space and privacy for all. Just a short drive to all the downtown action. The backyard area was fabulous. Wish we had visited during warmer weather so we could have taken advantage of the beautiful bbq and seating area.

Charming and unique older home in a convenient location for the Riverwalk area. Unexpected neighborhood watering hole, El Lucador, was a clean and friendly place to have a beverage after visiting local San Antonio. Even though we visited during the winter months, the outdoor space was welcoming and would be a great place to spend time during warmer parts of the year. Todd and Ryan were very responsive and easy to work with.

The Grayson Estate at Pearl was a perfect for our family vacation! Great space for a family of 8, very clean! Wonderful location just steps to Pearl district. We look forward to staying here again!

Staying in downtown San Antonio is such a treat even for those of us who live in or near San Antonio. The Southtown and Pearl locations make wonderful gathering places... for girls weekends in our case. Todd was very helpful in answering our questions & making sure all worked out well for us.

We were on holiday with our three children. The house is located in a very convenient area, very close to the center, the shopping area and the AT&T Center. It is spacious and very welcoming, equipped with all comforts, there are shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in every bathroom; detergents for washing machines, dishwashers and general cleaning. The kitchen is very equipped. The cleanliness of the house is excellent. It is the cleanest and most equipped house we have ever found on Airbnb. The garden is large, equipped with accessories for the barbecue and for outdoor dining.If we were to return to San Antonio, we would definitely stay there again!!
