When I first stumbled upon this cottage like cabin, it seemed almost to good to be true! There must be a catch! But everything was perfect as it looked online. Lynn is the most thoughtful gracious hostess. She provided me with all the information I needed and showed me around. The cottage is just perfect! Kitchen contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and front deck is excellent. Location incredible! Lynn had excellent restaurant recommendations and was a great help. She went way beyond to make my long weekend comfortable and memorable.Thanks Lynn for the wonderful weekend!

Beds are comfortable, location is quiet, and Lynn is very accommodating. She really goes out of her way to make sure her guests have anything they might need. Theres also great restaurants nearby and the lake is only a few minutes away.My wedding also took place here and I cant stress enough how much Lynn helped my wife with everything. She went above and beyond for us and both of our families had so much fun here. I cant even imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else. If it was possible to give Lynn and Slye Ranch over a 5-star rating, I would.I highly recommend staying here of youre in the area.

Just... wow. It was my woman’s birthday and Lynn went above and beyond to make sure our stay was more than extraordinary. Every detail was payed very close attention. When you make the time to visit this beautiful place, show Lynn the respect she shows you! Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect little getaway!Update: it’s been a week since we stayed and we can’t stop thinking about when we could go back! Hoping we can stay in the container they turned into a luxury hideout! It’s beautiful inside and out and is so fitting for the property! It looks like a tiny house and was custom made with a beautiful outdoor second floor balcony. Definitely still recommend!

My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights but we wished we could have stayed longer. Lynn goes above and beyond for her guests. It was a very relaxing mini vacation.We had our wedding there around 2 weeks ago, it went very well. Everyone keeps saying how much they loved it, and how pretty it was. Thanks to Lynn and all the hard work she and the people she hired did for the event.

LOVED this sweet cabin & the host! Lynn had everything ready for our bachelorette party including a welcome platter, Cokes, sweet tea, milk, water and EVERYTHING else we could have even asked for! She even had the fire pit ready for roasting marshmallows! Had so much fun!! ......one more thing! - she heard we were gonna bring a little one with us, and made sure even she had what she needed! Baby soap in the bathroom ready and waiting. I cant say enough about this place!!!!

We had such a fun time this weekend at the Ray Roberts Slye Ranch for my bachelorette party!Mrs. Lynn was So sweet and most hospitable. She had everything prepared for us before we got there and even stayed up to welcome us in when we arrived late.Highly recommend staying here!! Its so gorgeous, and can accommodate a lot of people..plus they have wildlife to make your stay that much more enjoyable.Thank you for a great weekend in North Texas, Slye Ranch!

I called Lynn to inquire about rates for my 2 year anniversary. She was so helpful over the phone and suggested we stay in her new shipping container swanky cabin conversion. It sounded perfect so I booked it and that was just the beginning! Lynn helped me plan such a perfect weekend, she made sure that we knew of things to do in the area like horseback riding through the state park, and places to eat. She suggested that I send her pictures from the wedding that she could put up in the cabin and when we got there she even had designed a lavish charcuterie plate with a bottle of champagne to celebrate!The converted shipping container could only be described as classy, chic and comfortable, with a fireplace, full kitchen, and very comfy bed. Huge windows look out onto the farm with friendly donkeys and a horse that get you in the morning asking for carrots (which are will stocked in the refrigerator). The top of the cabin is decked out (literally) with lounge furniture and a cafe table and chairs and the grounds are full of beautiful flowers and plants that Lynn cares for.This place is a magical get away from the city thats not too far out to become a habit. it will certainly become one for my wife and me.

I had the pleasure of being a guest at Slye Ranch for several weeks. Owners Lynn and Larry are amazing. The Copper Can where I stayed is a luxury experience you have to see to believe! Always attentive to my needs, Lynn and Larry made me feel like family. I would highly recommend Slye Ranch if you’re looking for a clean, reasonably priced and well-appointed getaway in the Denton or Dallas area.

Lynn & Larry were the best hosts we could have ever asked for! From the moment I booked on-line, they were there to assist with any questions/concerns I had since our stay fell over the Covid pandemic. We felt confident we chose the perfect place and would be safe! As soon as we pulled in Cooper Can, we felt immediately relaxed and in love with what they created. You can tell how much love & time they have poured in creating a perfect little gem! Attention to detail, all the personal touches (a very special thank you for all the amazing breakfast goodies they provided from their local farm, Singleton Farms. Rex, their retired racing horse & two sweet donkeys were the icing on the cake-they left us treats to feed them and provided the perfect view to wake up to every morning. Lynn was even kind enough to drive us to and from the venue my niece got married in to ensure we had a safe and comfortable journey! We would return in a heartbeat!

Wow! What can I say? The cabin was gorgeous! It felt so homey and luxurious! Not to mention the beds were so comfortable! Definitely felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! Then the hospitality that Lynn showed our party was the best Ive ever experienced! I would definitely recommend this beautful place to others.

Last night was our first time staying at Slye Ranch, but it will not be the last! My family and I have traveled extensively all over the country and to many others as well and the service and hospitality you receive at this location rivals any we have experienced. The owner is extremely accommodating, welcoming, and kind. The location is beautiful and it is very close to many enjoyable activities. The food and drinks provided were delicious and the decor is so unique and charming. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we loved the outdoor sitting area on top of the ‘Copper Can’. I can’t say enough about how awesome this place it! We liked it so much we rebooked before we left the property !

This bed and breakfast is better than any 5-star resort. Ive stayed here multiple times and have a new adventure each time. The owners are so thoughtful and available to help (but not overbearing). The property is BEAUTIFUL. There are so many plants and flowers. We saw deer, lots of wild birds, and of course the horse and donkeys. The decor in the cabin is like nothing youve seen. Best part? Dog friendly!

It was my second time staying here and I love it so much! Very peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed all the special touches throughout the cabin as well. The owners are very nice and generous. I will definitely come back again as it’s become a favorite stay for me and my significant other.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon October 27th-29th 2017. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you guys for the awesome time, and a special thanks for picking up some groceries for our stay since we arrived on a motorcycle. The Cabin was decorated on the inside with tons of beautiful flowers, which my wife absolutely loved. Thanks again for the awesome honeymoon.
