Words can’t describe how incredible our stay was!! The most quaint and comfortable Airbnb ever! The location was beautiful and perfect for a secluded trip away. Our clamping dome was perfectly stocked and so much detail and thought was put into everything included. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, both before and during our trip. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet trip away, you have to check this one out!

We absolutely loved every second of our stay! It was definitely worth every penny. The host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The Dome itself was amazing—so cool and cozy! We especially loved the mini kitchen, the fireplace, and the restroom, which was fantastic. The waterfall shower head made the experience feel luxurious, and the soaking tub was the highlight for sure. Having a fire pit, propane grill and all the cooking equipment really added to the glamping experience. We also enjoyed a hike at the nearby state park! Overall, it was a 10/10 stay. And the sweetest touch—Thunder, the host’s dog, came to visit us three times during our stay. As dog owners ourselves, it was the perfect cherry on top of an already wonderful experience. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy container home! It was the perfect little getaway for us and our dog. The home was super comfortable and well-designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. We especially loved the outdoor area—it was peaceful and inviting, a great spot to unwind. The fact that it was dog-friendly was a huge bonus for us! We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing retreat.

We had such an amazing stay here! The dome was so cute and the bathhouse as well. Attention to detail was definitely not spared here! Everything was thoughtfully done and so tasteful. The kitchen sink was the coolest sink I’ve ever seen! Now I have to have one lol… BUT the hot tub at night laying back looking at the stars was my favorite part!I would give 6 stars if I could, we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Nathans and Ali place was absolutely perfect! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nathan and Ali was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations, making our time even more enjoyable. We especially loved the cozy living area and the stunning view from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again!

Very Cute place to stay. My husband and I just wanted a little get away close to home and it was perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable! I was worried it would be cold. Never stayed in a dome before but it was warm. Will definitely stay again!This could be a great place for family, small kids would love it, Or a romantic get away.

This place is a gem! I stayed in one of the domes and had a lovely time! It was a bit cold outside, so I was nervous it might be chilly inside. To my delight, the fireplace and heater kept it nice and cozy. Loved waking up nestled in the trees. The bed is very comfy as well. Its well appointed too and had everything I needed to be comfortable.

We could not have asked for a better stay. Our geo dome was perfectly clean, well stocked with basic kitchen essentials, and even very warm on a cold December night. The ambiance surrounding our deck was so relaxing and made us feel like we were tucked away alone in nature. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is quiet and comfortable. The location is less than a mile to my family’s house and much closer than any hotel! Plus, we can bring our small dog. We could not find any hotels in the area that allow pets. This place was perfect for our needs.

I had an absolutely amazing time. It was truly a great getaway experience when you need to just get away from your normal routine. They had everything provided. The bed was absolutely soft and comfortable. Loved the sink tank and it kept me very warm in the cool night. I was in the tree house Dome and loved the privacy it provided.

Where do I start?!? 10/10 recommended! First time I’ve stayed in a dome, and it was by far the coolest experience I’ve had at a bnb. The bed so comfortable, the A/C was amazing. The bathroom was absolutely outstanding, the rainfall shower head made me want to buy one of my own. You can control the temperature on the outdoor soaking tub too. Worth every penny. I will definitely be back to check out the other units and domes they have.

We booked this for something different than a hotel room while in town for a football game. When we arrived we was blown away by the charm and secluded location. We actually discussed not even going to the football game so we could have more time enjoying the peace and quiet. All the little extra amenities made the place really nice, we burned a little fire then soaked away in the stock tank tub, it was exactly what the dr ordered. We will be booking again for a longer duration, 1 night was not enough.

The drive from Dallas to the location is actually really nice. You definitely feel like you’re someplace else without having to be on the road too long. The property as a whole is definitely very well taken care of, and it’s beautiful scenery, and family friendly.

Always a great stay! I love staying with Selah Place & I have two times now. Both times were in the last villa on the left (can’t seem to remember what it’s called) & they have always been so easy to work with. Always one text away & responded quickly at my minor inconvenience with the tv (i just had to unplug it & plug it back it & it worked just fine). They also worked with me to add an extra day which I greatly appreciated. I also have plenty of friends who have stayed here & they all loved it. Not to add the scenery is beautiful & the villas feel so modern. They come with a bunch of cooking utensils as well which just always is great to have on hand. Honestly can’t get over how much I love this place. The one thing that was slightly inconvenient was the height of the stairs so know you will need to duck if your tall, but i’m short so I had no problem at all.

This is a nice quite place to stay. Everything was clean and tidy. There are amenities for longer stay if needed. Hosts communicated well. The town of Athens is only about 10-15 minutes away if you need supplies or just looking for dinner. The road is close, but not heavily traveled and you can only hear the road noise when outside.

We stayed at the location for two weeks. We paid for the more expensive pet friendly unit. We only received new towels one time in 15 days when we were able to find the property care taker.Not once did we receive clean linens for the beds or any sort of service to the room. After checkout we received a negative review because our sheets and towels were dirty after using them for two weeks. There were also negative comments left because there was pet hair on the sheets. Our dog is black and does shed, but that is why we paid more for the pet friendly unit. Some additional cleaning should be expected especially if zero cleaning or linen exchanges are done for two weeks. We covered the bed in our own blankets the entire time in an effort to keep it even more clean. Overall unit was good but certainly left a negative place in our minds after the negative reviews were left. I’d avoid this location if you have a pet or are staying for a longer duration.

The casita was very nice. Its new and well appointed. Loved the rainfall shower head, which was set high enough for my 6-6 husband. Yay! (He almost always has to duck down.) The deck/porch had 3 seating choices and we tried them all. Coffee in the morning while listening to birds and looking out on the pond was just what my soul needed. This was a nice getaway spot.

I stayed in the casita #4, The Maple Casita. The first casita on the right. It was a great spot only 7 mins from where I needed to be for the week. The bed was comfortable, & the a/c worked great. The casita was nestled in a nice wooded area with a small pond for fishing. It was very relaxing. The sound of the cars passing by on the county road was a little loud at times but not all day & night. It’s easy to sleep through. The only other reason I couldn’t give this a 5 star review is because the bathroom lacked a little bit of cleaning. Overall great communication, great location, and comfortable.

My wife and I had booked a hotel in Dallas for the 2024 eclipse, but our friend said we should come to Selah Place because she had stayed here while visiting her son who lives in Athens. The plan evolved over time and we ended up with a group of about 16 people across 2 villas and casitas. My wife worked with Nathan and Alejandra to set things up, and they accommodated our ever-evolving arrangements with aplomb. Ditto once we got here - they were attentive and helped us with a few things we needed, put together a delicious dinner for us the night before the eclipse, as well as a brunch day of. Im writing this the night before the eclipse, so I dont know yet if well be able to see it - the forecast possibly calls for clouds. But I DO know that the brunch will be delicious and they will take excellent care of us.In addition, the location is gorgeous! The pond is restful and beautiful, and full of turtles, which have completely mesmerized us - were here in the spring, so there are lots of babies :)Were having such a nice time that were talking about coming back, even though its a bit of a trek for us from the Pacific Northwest. But its just lovely here - highly recommend.

Visited for my anniversary. The place was so CLEAN inside, I mean spot free clean! We randomly ran into the maintenance man Erin who was also super inviting and helpful, so that was a plus. To top it all off was the VIEW! Right outside your slide glass door is the private water front. Fishing is literally right outside your door! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a cost efficient getaway.

We were in town for a two-day event and needed one nights accommodations. The hotels in the area... well, arent our style. So glad we found Selah.Place! We stayed in one of the casitas and it was perfect for our family of three. Admittedly, I was worried about not getting the door code until right before our arrival, but it arrived by email exactly when we were told it would. The unit was spotlessly clean and my 13-year old loved the loft - there is a window up there, so plenty of light to read during the day, just wish there was a small reading lamp for evening! Bathroom was great for such a small place. We didnt use anything in the kitchen except one mug, but there was more than youd get in a regular hotel room. The property is clean and pretty. Several other people were staying as well, but we never once heard anyone! A few notes: there was a tiny bit of car noise on the road behind the unit, but not at too late an hour, even on a Saturday; air conditioning worked GREAT though we had to get the angle on it just right to not blow onto our faces in bed; in our reservation, we had Casita 3 but the sign on the unit said Oak Casita - thankfully, our door code email also stated it was the second one on the right. (We would have gone to the wrong one!) The quiet location, proximity to Athens, super clean unit, very little to do to check out and communication more than make up for the little nits. We will 100% stay here again if in the greater Athens area!

Nathan’s casita was exactly as pictured and was the perfect place for our family of three while we were visiting for a wedding at Margot Hill, less than ten minutes away. The space is set up efficiently with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt safe and private, and the bed was comfortable as well! My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay here! We ended up staying Valentine’s Day and we’re offered a romance package that was all set up prior to our arrival! And I got to surprise my fiancé!! We had everything we needed and it was very quiet and peaceful. On top of that the host was very responsive and extremely helpful! I would 100% recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning in the future! One suggestion I would make would be to provide a booklet that has recommended restaurants and activities to do in and around town. Other than that everything was perfect!!

This is the perfect villa for a trip with friends. The location of Nathan’s place is fantastic and very close to the town. I loved the secluded stay but having the town around the corner where you can get anything you might need during your stay.Most listings we saw didn’t have a full kitchen, so we appreciated that this one did, plus a washing machine which was a lifesaver. The spa like bathrooms and robes where a great touch.For me this was a solo trip with my fat pup, we were in desperate need of some time away from the city. I loved reading on the deck, both downstairs and right off the main room. Being on the water with walking trails was a delight.I highly recommend a morning walk after some fresh rain, everything was so calm and peaceful I hardly even left.I’d highly recommend staying with such a friendly and thoughtful host!

These cabins/ Casitas are a truly great place to stay! They are private and very comfortable. They have all of the needed amenities and the bed is insanely comfortable. They were spotlessly clean. The host was very friendly and professional! It is very close to a local family owned winery, 3 Ps in a Vine, and it is a must stop too. I highly recommend you stay here!

This was the perfect place for what we were needing! Close to town for day trips and nights out, but secluded, serene, and beautiful! Fishing was so much fun! Exceptional place to stay with superb hosts!We had to find a place very quickly to stay at due to a long term power outage at our home. Nathan was more than accommodating!These cabins are tucked away so you feel like you are isolated, but within a short distance to anything you need in town! To top the awesome scenery, the actual cabins are incredible! Super clean and they have everything you need (if not more than you need).We stayed in the casita and villa, so I was able to experience both. When we moved to the villa from casita, Nathan moved over our luggage and put food in the fridge for us while we went to a safari drive thru! That exceeds service in my book. Top notch place and I plan to come back over and over. It’s a great getaway!I recommend this place to everyone! Which says a lot because I travel pretty often… so my standards are high.

We utilized the casita for lodging during a work trip because of its location to the work we were performing. It was very nice, very clean, fairly new. All the conveniences of home at a reasonable price. We didnt spend much time in the casita other than for sleeping but it was comfortable and the owners were very responsive to our need to extend our stay a few days. I recommend this place.

They also loved the villa overall that screen time was virtually nonexistent for them (score!).We brought our own fishing gear and caught plenty of sunfish.We left this place rested, full of great memories, and longing to come back.

This is the perfect hideaway. I stayed for 4 nights for work and it was perfect. You have your own oasis. There is a alot of rules but its worth it. The small house is really small though not big enough for a a kid 10 and older. Besides that fantastic. I will stay again if Im in the area.

Accomodations in a serene location with nice porches to relax on. Having the pond to reflect on with my morning coffee was so restful, plus my family got to fish it as well. I stay in one of the smaller ones for two nights. It is the cutest and most peaceful . I will say climbing the ladder to the top bunk was scary so I think I’ll pass on that part lol but the rest was great. Sometimes at night it seemed a bit warm even after lowering the AC to 67. However , still a cozy little place. I was grateful they had little things I had forgotten like body wash, towels, and a blow dryer ! You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into their places. It almost felt like visiting a parent or grandparent haha . I’d definitely recommend booking! Might book again soon!
