    We stay at Popes landing every time we fish on Lake Fork. This place has quick access to a decent boat ramp, and the staff is quick to respond when things come up. They do have boat slips you can rent if you dont want to trailer your boat every time.

    Just went to visit!!***UPDATE***A friend now resides there part time. Ive been to visit on many occasions. Their grounds are always clean and the area is quiet. They have several amenities, such as rooms to rent (never been inside one), boat ramps, a fishing pier, and a pavilion for family gatherings. Ive never been inside their office and only met one outside crew member, who had a smile on her face and was very friendly. I recommend Popes Landing for your next lake getaway!!

    Floyd was so helpful throughout the whole process of booking. Very friendly and welcoming! Great location to a nice Mexican restaurant and easy access to the boat ramp.

    We stayed for a week the 3rd week of Feb. cabin 14. Great view, great service, friendly people in the store. Cabin was clean, had towels and anything we needed daily. Highly recommend to anybody looking for to stay at Fork. I could have used a few more fish but that’s on me. lol.

    Popes landing is great! Very quiet and laid back community. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. Our cabin was clean and ready for our stay! If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Come! You won’t regret it. The fish we caught were mainly catfish. We tried for bass but they were tough for us. We had a great time!

    Overall great first impression. Check in was super fast. Very clean and comfortable room with a view. I appreciate the phone plug-ins next to the bed. Looking forward to coming back

    This place is the best when visiting Lake Fork, TX. We came from Connecticut to fish and visit the State Fair. We had cabin 7 water view. It was amazing! Beautiful, relaxing, friendly neighbors, staff was extremely welcoming. Debbie our house keeper was on point and accommodating. Anything needed, she was the woman that made it happened. We appreciate her for making our stay comfy and super clean. The cabins are immaculate and smelling good. Stocked up daily. We would absolutely return. This was absolutely the best stay thus far. They make you feel right at home.

    Stayed in cabin 13, great location the staff was top notch and everyone was friendly. This was a fishing trip so it was perfect. If your staying in the cabins know that they are small like a tiny house. Not wheelchair accessible. Since our time was spent on the lake the cabin size was not that big of a deal. If you need a guide I highly recommend Phillip Montano such a great guy and great guide made our day exciting, it was like hanging out with a feiend.

    The cabins are clean, and so our the grounds. Staff very nice. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is it is very crowded. Cabins within feet of each other and lots of RVs and travel trailers. Just to many people for a relaxing get a way. Took our 9 YO grandson and he did have a good time. Just didnt catch any fish. Not a good weekend for that!! Deck could use some TLC! Recommend if you are a fisherman. Pier right out side. Lovely view and location.

    We are from out of state just looking for a place to relax after we dropped our youngest child off for college, a great place to relax! Cabin 14 was amazing, clean, and cool, ac worked great! Really quiet and beautiful views! Had all of the amenities we needed, right on the water, and peaceful! We can’t wait to plan another trip! Staff was wonderful and friendly. Great way to start off our new chapter of empty nesting! Thank you!

    We came from Fort Worth to do some fishing and get away from the concrete jungle.We randomly found this place and really liked the way it looked and the reviews. And it lived up to them.The lady working Friday 6/12/20 was awesome and the housekeeping lady from that Sunday was awesome and friendly;.. We were early by an hour but almost spent that just looking around and taking in the beauty. What a great place.Multiple ramps, courtesy docks at our cabin. Cabins were VERY well maintained with plenty of AC for 90+ degree heat. Wifi worked for us, but really didnt need it with all there is to do. Quiet RV community, friendly and informative locals....Just an awesome experience..... So much so we are going to start looking at moving, to heck with the city.I did not want to leave.....Great place yall, the hard work is noticed

    We had a great time here. The cabin was amazing! Fully stocked kitchen was beyond expectations. They restocked our toiletries , provided fresh towels, and emptied and supplied extra bag all while we were gone into town. It was awesome service!! Will be back and will recommend to everyone.

    This place is great. I highly suggest staying here. I cant give it 5 stars because we couldnt get checked in until well after 4pm. After 2 hours on the road and arriving late to meet family, having to wait for so long was the last thing we wanted to do. We were only staying 1 evening, so it was close to ruining our 4th of July lake festivities. But that is all I have to say negative. LOVE the cabin. Cozy and right next to the lake. The cabin had a fully stocked kitchen from pots to cutting boards, everything you would need. The main bedroom was nice that it had a door for those going to bed early. I will also say that the AC works GREAT. We had so much fun and worth every penny we paid. I will definitely be back.

    What a fun week! My husband loves to fish and I love the lazy day setting. We got both. We met an amazing person who made us feel so welcomed. Debbie found away to meet every need. She went above and beyond her job fulfillments. However, on the part of Cabin #4 we were not totally impressed. The furniture was so uncomfortable, especially on a day we were stuck inside due to weather. The bed was so noisy, every movement made it squeek like it was going to break. My husband actually slept on the loft bed because it was more comfortable, so every night he would climb up the ladder to sleep in the loft. I slept on the main floor mattress. The air conditioner and heating system was fantastic! We will go back, however, we will try another cabin. We will give this place a second chance. Thanks again Debbie for making our stay so comfortable.

    Great place to stay on a lake fork vacation the lakeside cabins are awesome they’re smaller but very comfortable and nice and can stay very cold in the Texas summer heat! And willing to accommodate their guest by all means necessary. Clean bug free lodging fire pit and grill included and easy to launch and store boat within walking distance of cabin.

    Had an excellent trip and stay at Popes landing. The staff and accommodations (Cabins) were top notch. Easy lake access and wet slips available to rent were a huge plus! The only issue was there was no water working at the cleaning station, brought it up to the office and they assured me they werent aware and theyd look into it. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

    Waterfront cabins are tiny houses that are clean, comfortable and cool. I gave it 4 stars because there was only one chair on the deck of a cabin that sleeps 5 and it was cracked on the seat slats. Also there were spider webs outside the front door, on the deck and all along the pier which is also in need of repair. Satellite television is limited to about 20 channels and you cant stream to the TV from your phone. If you plan on fishing all day and dont watch much TV its a great place to stay.

    Stayed a couple nights at the lake fork resort then moved over here to stay in one of the cabins. Big fan of the cozy cabins on the water. Decent price for a great experience. If you need something bigger, they have larger cabins as well. Easy access to the water here to launch your boat.

    Lake Fork marina and motel that also has great lake side cottages (park model modulars) right on the water. Park models are 399 sq. ft with a loft. Very tidy accommodations and all the staff has been great. 100+ here today and the A/C is keeping everything nice and cool.

    Great place! Great people! Easy on and off the lake. Have several different ways to stay, we stayed in a comfort cabin. Very nice! Make sure to stay here if you come to lake fork.

    We stayed in one of the cabins over the 4th. People/Staff were friendly, place was clean and they were dog friendly. I would stay again. But, a couple of things need to be updated - The dial up computer and the furniture. Had an old uncomfortable sofa and a chair that looked like it was bought at a garage sale. Other than that, I would recommend.

    Lake lodge. They have their own dock and you can rent a skiff. Great location to put in on Fork. Super easy to work with. I called and told her we wouldn’t be there until late and she left the key under the mat for me! Will definitely stay there again.

    Wonderful place to stay and fabulous lake for bass fishing. We loved our group stay in the big house that has bedrooms for everyone. Next time we’re looking forward to staying in one of the brand new lake side cabins.Great place, Great staff, Great fishing, Great FUN!!!!

    (I had an issue with the cancelation policy. The owner called today and I am going to stay for the first time Friday. Will check back after the trip.) I have been meaning to do this for a while. We went after this issue and stayed, very nice place and all the staff was nice. Cabin was very nice. Great ramps and lake access. We stayed in June. I intend to go back. I will however state what the owner told me. The cancelation policy is extremely strict as they are a seasonal business and this is understandable. However just as the owner told me that he and his staff would have told me, if you are unsure or have any doubt about making your reservation DO NOT BOOK there is no give on this policy. As long as you are confident you will be making your reservation it is great, but if you need to cancel and do not do so in time you will lose your money. There are no rain checks and no budging on the cancelation policy. Read the cancelation policy thoroughly and you will be thoroughly pleased with your experience. Again I had a great time and plan on going back soon but I felt I should elaborate on this part as I do not necessarily agree 100% but understand they have this policy in place for a reason.

    We had an amazing time during our visit this summer at Popes Landing! We stayed in a waterfront cabin. We loved morning coffee and evening sunset on the deck. Boat launch was easy and fishing from the pier was fun and convenient.

    I had a family reunion back in November at Popes and it was a wonderful experience. The cabins were clean and plenty big enough for all the families. Plus the staff were helpful and friendly. We will be back.

    Good little best kept secret, fair prices on rooms in hotel, and cabins.gas nearby, boat rental nearby. Only con is the docks are kind of neglected, needs night lighting and access ports to the water.
