    On behalf of the Gist family, this was the best beach experience we’ve ever had! The condo was absolutely lovely, fantastic views, easy access to everything we needed. The kids had so much fun exploring the beach, the pools, game room, etc. already wishing we were back!

    We arrived late in the evening and we were worn out! It was nice to be able to check in with our code. The Condo was spacious and spotless and the air conditioning kept us plenty cool! The beds were comfy and we were able to get a nice, hot shower, and a good night’s rest! The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook meals for our 2 families. I loved sitting on the porch facing the ocean and its cool breezes each morning with a cup of coffee! The walk over to the beach was nearby and we were next door to the beach club!We stayed at Pointe West many years ago when our Grandkids were younger and our parents were with us. We have lost 3 family members since then. We were able to recreate a few snapshots along the spillway in the pool at the Beach Club House mimicking the ones we took so long ago when the kids were smaller and we were younger! It was a sweet memory that we were able to share with other family members! I am so glad the hurricane cleanup process was pretty much completed, shops in Galveston were open, and the power was up! Hope to return in the future.

    The condo is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. Full amenities and the ocean view from the patio is gorgeous. You also have the bay view off the master and the sunsets are impressive. The Pointe West bar has delicious food and you can’t beat watching the Astros with the ocean view.

    Peach, Please was an immaculately planned and curated beach house! It had everything we needed to stay for a week. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms extremely spacious. We were very close to the Sunset pool and access to the beach. Not only that, the property management contact person was SO prompt when answering questions!! Oh, and the sunset view was stunning! We absolutely loved our experience and would go back again in a heartbeat!

    We loved the resort. Pool was great, beaches clean, property very well kept, condo very nice. Only complaint was the elevator only worked about 1/2 the time. When you are staying on 3rd floor that is a big deal.

    Our entire family enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo.Lots of space, great views, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, never ran out of anything…best stay in Galveston in a long time!Went last part of October early part of November so having the lazy river heated was awesome!Great fun had by all…highly recommend and will stay again!!!

    We stayed at No Worries and we can’t say enough how much fun our family had at this location. We had stayed at a large house the last time we were here, but the floor plan here is excellent with everything was on the same floor instead of different bedrooms on different floors. The patio facing the gulf was spacious and had more than enough furniture for our group of five adults and two children to enjoy. The electric grill made dinner effortless. This place even had a smaller living space which was ideal for those who wanted to watch something else other than sports.to Both walks tobeach and to the pool was minimal — 5- min. Everyone was happy, including our dog.The registration and check-in was flawlessly executed by the registration staff. When we come back, we will definitely stay here!

    Stunning! Loved the unit. The Atmosphere, furnishings, and kitchen that was well stocked with all cookware needed to prepare a meal were over the top. Entire condo and patio with Ocean, beautiful sunrise and sunset views cannot be beat. WAS ALMOST HEAVEN. The management gave excellant support and service. Will be returning!

    The location and amenities are fabulous. The condo was very clean and spacious. Response time answering my questions was immediate. The view of the Gulf from the patio was spectacular, and the easy walk down the pier to the beach was nice. You don’t really have to leave to go anywhere else with the restaurants, pools, and beach.This was the perfect place to reunite with our kids and grandkids. Wonderful memories were made.

    Sea Note has everything you need for an extended stay. It is well appointed, beautifully decorated, with easy access to the beach and Pointe West Beach Club. We enjoyed our daily walks on the beach, and close proximity to downtown Galveston. It had just what we needed!

    I cannot say enough good things about Pointe West! When our initial accommodations in Galveston fell through, Pointe West saved the day and our vacation! I think we honestly had a better time at Pointe West than we would have had at our initial place! The beaches were beautiful! The pools were great! Our kids loved that there was an actual restaurant that brought food to the pool just for them!Even though it was a little further out that we had initially planned, the beaches were nice and quiet. Plenty of space and not crowded at all!!Will be back next year!

    We loved the beach club , especially the pool(s) & had a very relaxing stay . We had the beach & pool to ourselves at times & the staff were all very nice. The only thing that was not pleasant was the smell of our unit . When we arrived late evening of first day, the smell was very strong , ( possibly from a pet or cat litter box ) ? The unit did have a humidifier & air circulation machine so it was less noticeable after the first day. We do recommend staying at the beach club.

    The home is even more beautiful than the pictures. The view when you walk into the great room will take your breath away! The kitchen is huge and well-appointed, as is the laundry/utility room. The outside shades are very easy to use and make the rooms completely dark for sleeping, or raise the shades and enjoy the early morning sunshine. There are two full-size cooktops for large family meals, and a bathroom for every bedroom, except for the bunk rooms, which share a bathroom. Theres a very spacious deck with a hot tub. And theres a large outdoor space under the house for outdoor entertaining or just sitting in the shade and enjoying the sounds of the surf. The queen bedroom is small, but so well appointed that its cozy rather than crowded. The other bedrooms are very spacious, and all the bathrooms are wonderful. The hosts are very easy to access via text and are very quick to respond. The whole house is amazing, and we will definitely stay there again.

    This property was awesome! Everything clean and new looking. It’s the closest building to the Pointe West club with pool, restaurant, bar, gift shop and fitness area. Also very close to boardwalk that leads to the beach. We’re definitely coming back!

    The property was in ideal location, beach views, easy access to beach and club, which offered swimming, restaurant and other amenities. The size of condo was perfect for my family with plenty of space and ample bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a fully stocked kitchen. Will definitely return and recommend.     Had a great stay at Bluemoon Bay. The house was beautiful, well stocked with towels, and checkout was simple (not overly complicated). Pointe West beaches and pools were fun. Great place for two families and grandparents to hang out at the beach!

    Our stay at this beach home was one of the best weve ever stayed at! We loved the openness of the home, the view and proximity to the Gulf. The pictures and descriptions are accurate but cannot capture the little touches everywhere. The communication with Pointe West was very helpful. We highly recommend this beach home!

    My family and I had a great time at this location. The home was very well equipped for 9 guests. The home was very clean and decorated very well. The location on the canal was great. My little ones enjoyed their first time fishing. Pointe West did a great job answering any questions within a reasonable amount of time; the communication was fantastic.

    The entire house and resort are top notch. All the staff is so accommodating and helpful. The house we rented was absolutely beautiful. The photos used to advertise the home are exactly as is listed. So comfortable and directly across from the resort beach club. We will definitely stay here again! With 14 people in our group, adults and children, we had more than enough room. From the rental to our stay, the owners are very responsive and communicate very well.

    This is a fantastic place to stay. Feels like a resort! Condo was very nice and clean with tons of storage. I recommend bringing a wagon to haul everything to the beach. It’s not a super long walk but it feels like one of you’re carrying tons of things! I will definitely bring staying here again!

    Our condo was phenomenal! Very nicely decorated but the elevator didn’t work and I have a disability. Also, the beach club was great and good access to pool and beach which is fun! But had to wait extremely long times to get food or drinks from the staff. Crazy long wait times. So I give a 4 because the host of our condo made up for the bad wait times!

    Close proximity to Beach Club was key since we had small children.. Clean and well kept grounds. Easy access to a wide clean beach.Our condo had everything we needed and nicely decorated! Since we were on the first floor our upstairs neighbors were loud late into the night and early morning. .

    The house was simply amazing! It was just like the description and photos. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and be comfortable and had wonderful common areas to gather for meals and game nights.     WhiteCaps is a beautifully decorated condo with comfortable beds and furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast in the mornings and appetizers in the afternoon.We loved the balcony overlooking the beach. Perfect spot to watch the sunrise and relax in the evenings. The host provided games, movies and books.An added bonus was how close the boardwalk was to the beach and pool. Swimming at the large infinity pool was a hit. The hot tub is large and roomy. Waitstaff made it easy to order drinks and food. Perfect spot for a ladies retreat and family fun. We definitely will book again with WhiteCaps.

    Wonderful condo for a long weekend getaway. It was perfectly appointed with kitchen tools, beach towels, and extra blankets (if needed). The balcony was just perfect to be quiet or spend time with friends and family. The unit was very clean, and beautifully decorated. The communication with the rental company was outstanding!     Third year to stay at a condo at the Pointe West Beach Club @ San Luis Pass, Galveston Island, TX. An excellent experience each time. This year was at the Sea Note condo. Excellent location overlooking the beach, next to the Beach Club pool area and to a boardwalk to the beach. Condo was very tastefully decorated inside and on the verandah, supplied, and well maintained for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Owners were very gracious and accommodating. Would absolutely stay at Pointe West Beach Club again and certainly would attempt to book this condo again. Highly recommended.

    We chose this condo for bed setup, location and lanai w TV. While the weather was less than ideal ( mid 60s mostly cloudy) we still enjoyed the Sunset pool w heated lazy river and hot tub. The clouds parted briefly for a beautiful bay view sunset. The rental staff were very friendly accomodating and helpful. Our 3 generation family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

    The unit we stayed in was clean, comfortable and suitable for our needs. Slight inconveniences sticky patio doors and slow to inoperable elevator. Also the walk to the beach is a little longer than expected. The same for the walk to the Clubhouse pool. Disappointed on the conditions of the fishing pier. Needs a good cleaning and painting. Found large amounts of discarded bait on the pier which attracted flies. And fishing lines, hooks and cobwebs throughout the pier. The river pool area is too small even for kids and the water was too warm since the area has limited shade. All things considered it was a good experience but not exceptional.

    What a beautiful home and property. We stayed in December which was a lovely time of year. Having rented VRBO homes and owned in Galveston for years, it is hard in my experience to find a rental home with a kitchen as wonderful as this for hosting a group. It was well stocked with quality dishes, pots/pans, and knives which is hard to come by in Galveston VRBO units otherwise. New appliances made it easy to feed a large group. Each bedroom was modern but comfortable. The Kohler electric rain head shower was a warm welcome after a long day at the beach! The views from the balconies on both levels of the bay were lovely, and the group really enjoyed the outdoor seating. An outdoor showers was helpful to wash off all the beach and before warming up in the spacious hot tub. The property management contact was easy to reach at all times and very communicative when a storm knocked out the power for 1.5 hrs. Point West beach is quiet and clean compared to other areas of the island. In the past, we often rented in Pirates area but plan to rerun here to Point West and hopefully “Off the Hook” from now on.

    Great location- house was easily walkable to the beach (even with toddlers)!! The Pointe West location was not as busy as other parts of Galveston and allowed plenty of room for us to have fun on the beach. House was as great and as pictured!! Customer service was very nice and very responsive! The beach club needs some updating and was small for how big the community is during busy season. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Would absolutely recommend!

    This is an extremely comfortably sized, gorgeous, well-appointed, clean, totally stocked, beach home.We had 6 adults and 2 littles.This home totally exceeded our expectations.We rent a beach house every year for our family for the week of the 4th. For decades we’ve done this. This home is the best we’ve ever “borrowed”, as my grandson would say.The furniture is super comfortable, as are the beds. And there is enough seating!!! The showers are huge!!!The layout of the bedrooms is fantastic. Master and another bedroom on main floor. Each has their own bathroom and one doubles as the guest bath for the main floor.Next floor has a HUGE bedroom with 2 full/queen bunks built in and with built in stairs to the top bunks. And another bedroom with a queen bed across the hall. It’s perfect setup for parents who need to sleep close to their kiddos. Both upstairs bedrooms have their own attached bathrooms. Between these two bedrooms is a small den/game room area with large tv and video game set-up. We were outside the entire time there so didn’t use this much.One floor above this is another den area.The ground floor has a huge covered area with lots of seating and a large good quality bbq pit. Dining table and chairs. Huge shuffleboard “court”, great shower for rinsing off sand from beach, a bar area, ping pong table plus parking in the garage for 2 vehicles.They had a wagon available to carry stuff on the beach and other items available to borrow.We have stayed in so many homes that over-represented their amenities. This home was not over-represented by Pointe West Realty and it was such a nice surprise to get MORE than we expected. It has two full-size fridges with freezers. A HUGE pantry. A built-in ice maker that was actually working. Three ovens. Huge sink, plus a second sink at the “bar” area. Tons of counter space. Stocked with dishes, pots and pans, mixing bowls, plastic storage containers… and even beach towels for use. I could go on and on.We’ve stayed at Pointe West several times prior. This was our best experience. I enjoyed all of my communication with the management rental group. The employees were all nice and friendly and informative. And they communicated with us all of the fun activities going on at Pointe West during our stay.We would definitely stay in My Blue Heaven home again and book through Pointe West Vacation rentals. And we have NEVER stayed in any home more than once. Thank you for letting us borrow your home.

    The condo was perfect. And the owners answered any concerns within minutes. The only negative was that the mosquitos were so intense that the patio space was unuseable and the walka.to and from the condo were unpleasant due to swarms of mosquitoes. Next time we will plan to go during a different time of year. Otherwise we will be returning very soon.

    We loved the spacious rooms and comfortable bedding. Gorgeous view of the beach from the back porch. The kitchen was fully stocked but we had 7 adults and there were 6 coffee cups. I was disappointed about the small amount of toilet paper. We could have used an instruction sheet for the big tv. We will book a condo at Pointe West again.

    Nice and clean rental. 1st floor, so minimum stair climbing. Good cooking utenciles. Pots and pans were nicer than normal. Beds comfy. There was a slight musty smell. TV volume in bed room did not work. Not being a streamer, was little difficult figuring out how to watch regular TV and shows. Water spouts not working on ground level. Could not rinse off after beach. After many years, its nice to see that Point West is finally replacing the broken elevators. Wish you could spend money at the bar and grill without having to by a pool pass.

    “Sail On” was just perfect for our family! It was decorated just beautifully, had comfy beds, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the pool and the bar at the Beach Club! Wish the restaurant would have been opened, but you could get food at the snack bar and upstairs bar. Great trip!

    We had a wonderful stay in Pointe West. The property is laid out beautifully. It isn’t crowded and the amenities are very nice. We enjoyed both pools, the beach and the restaurant. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. It’s a great family friendly destination.Our condo was well appointed and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for our extended family of eight. I loved the large balcony! The owners were quick to respond to my questions. We enjoyed being near the sunset pool on the west end. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to enjoy the property.

    We definitely enjoyed our time at Pointe West. The beach was wonderful and right across the bridge. The pool was clean and beautiful. The Pointe restaurant has an delicious dinner menu! All of the staff was kind and friendly and the location is perfect. We stayed in the ForeSail condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked. The view of the ocean on the balcony was beautiful. The only reason I give a 4 star instead of a 5 star review mostly has to do with the location of the condo which we stayed in. This particular unit is literally right next to the pool, restaurant, and bar. So at night there was extremely loud music flooding into the bedrooms late into the night. Also, due to the location of this condo, all of the lighting that is turned on at the pool area is on all night and floods the master bedroom with light. Even with the blinds closed the room was very bright all night. The last negative (and I have read this in reviews dating back over 2 years ago)- there is an audible beeping alarm in a maintenance closet right outside of the unit that beeps nonstop 24/7 and will drive a person crazy! My family and I definitely want to return to Pointe West for another family vacation…..we will just choose a different condo unit next time!

    Condo was Amazing! Located right on the beach! Views were great. Loved sitting on the balcony and watchiing the waves. Nicely decorated in a beachy feel but was taseful. The grounds were very well kept and we loved getting to use the pool at the beach club. We even drove down and used the lazy river pool at the location just down the street. Loved that the beach wasnt overly crowded as well. Will definitely stay at this location next time we come to Galveston.

    This condo had everything we needed, and more! We’ve rented many beach houses over the years, and this one was the most well-stocked yet. The owner even provides access to their storage closet full of everything you need at the beach — boogie boards, chairs, a wagon, and more! The condo is very clean with new furnishings. The beds are comfortable with crisp, clean white sheets. Very easy access to the beach and the beach club. A great, large porch with an ocean view. And, easy access via text to the property management who were quick to respond and very helpful during our stay. We would go back and stay here again for sure, highly recommend.

    I really want to give a bad review so this place will stay quiet just for us, but just couldn’t do it. This end of the island is beautiful and peaceful. The water was calm and crystal clear the week we were there so that was an added bonus. The unit itself was spotless and well stocked. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again. The only real negatives were that the restaurant and pool bar were closed but that will open soon, hopefully. Definitely bring bug spray because the mosquitoes were horrible around the bridge over the dunes.

    I highly recommend Gone Coastal condo and the Pointe West complex. This condo is on the beach, right next to the walk over. The view from the patio is beautiful. The condo was super clean, nicely decorated and furnished with everything you need. We rented this condo for a long weekend and had a great time. Its an hour drive from Houston and a great quick escape from the city. The pools, restaurant and bar are very nice. The main pool overlooks the Gulf. This is a nice place to hang out. We ate lunch by the pool each day. It was tasty and reasonably priced. The grounds are kept up well. We will definitely go back here and rent this condo again.

    Perfect spring break vacation away from the crowds! Immediately felt at home in this beautifully decorated and maintained condo. Comfy king beds with super soft bedding, large sofas with tons of pillows, plenty of room for us all to watch TV together and eat dinner or play a board game around a large kitchen table. Nice TVs in every room that we’re easy to work!Huge corner balcony patio with an unobstructed view of the ocean AND sunset. Loved this location. Very special. You feel like the beach is yours, very private, quiet and relaxing. While the kids were out doing their thing, I chilled on the the patio feeling very peaceful as I watched tons of butterflies!!! So cool. Needless to say, we will be back!

    SOL SEARCHING Condo is an awesome beachfront 2B/2B 1st floor (above the parking garage) condo in Pointe West Beach Club Resort on Galveston Island. We were extremely happy with this newly renovated condo and its furnishings were very beach like. The king bed is comparable to sleeping on a cloud and the on-suite bathroom was very nice. The second bedroom with the twin over a full along with a trundle bed works great for the kids. The decorations and painted walls in this 2nd bedroom are so neat and beautiful. WOW! So nice! The kitchen was very nice, and the patio gave beautiful views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The patio furniture was very comfortable and a fun place for morning coffee and meals. Private parking under the condo protected our car and kept us out of the weather when it rained. I really loved this condo for family vacations, and it is only a short walk to the swimming pool, hot tub, game room, gift shop and (summertime only) restaurant. We had access to the beach just outside our condo and the boardwalk stroll down to the beach is only 1 minute. SOL SEARCHING is top notch. Believe me, we will recommend this condo to our friends that love coming to Galveston, and well be back again too. If youre wanting to be away from the downtown beach scene and have more private beach, you cant find any place better to enjoy your vacation.

    Love the size and space in the condo. Master bed was super comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and for the fishing part the crossover is right outside the building. We catch alot of fish and seven different species from right out in the surf. We had a great time!

    We have rented many condos over the years at Pointe West and they’ve always been great! So nice to have access to the pool, clubhouse and nearby restaurants. We had takeout nearly every night except one when we fixed fresh fish and shrimp. Away from the crowds, on the western tip of the island, it offers a very quiet, relaxing getaway on the cleanest beaches in Galveston.

    Our trip was amazing! We went for a quick getaway to Galveston and had the best time. The condo was very nice. They thought of everything and had all the appliances, beach toys, games, etc. The bedrooms were all nice with comfy beds. The living room was great with all the seating. The porch was huge. The views were wonderful. Seeing the beach every day was so nice. We went to the beach a lot and also went to the club a few times. It’s very convenient for lunches and dinners. I do suggest bringing your own breakfast items bc no one is open early for that. We will definitely be staying here again. We have rented condos in Pointe West since 2016 and this was definitely our favorite to date. We also rented beach chairs and tents which was SO nice. They put them up in the morning and took them down at 6 pm. Worth every cent. Lastly - do yourself a HUGE favor and go to the Gift Shop at The Beach Club. Alice is the kindest person. She has amazing clothes, cover ups, accessories, etc. I went in to get sunscreen and left with 2 cover-ups, 2 dresses and a hat. Her prices can’t be beat though. Definitely stop in!

    We travel quite a bit and have stayed at several VRBOs. This has been the nicest one yet! Well appointed, very clean, and the facilities are lovely.
