Did you know Outdoorsy now own a luxury glamping retreat?!?!? I found it on their website and enjoyed an incredible weekend out in Texas Hill Country, 90 minutes outside Austin. Sabrina and the team hosted us in one of their 20 stunning safari tents that come with AC, a fantastic shower and super comfortable beds. Our tent had a cowboy pool, BBQ and wrap-around deck. I didnt know Outdoorsy were based in Austin but this was a great first experience with the company. Oh and the sunsets were👌

I cant say enough positive things about our experience with Fireside RV Rentals and Outdoorsy! We reserved an RV with another company and the day before we were to pick it up, they canceled! So, at the last minute, Fireside really came through for us! Im new to RVing and Mari (Marissa) made the whole process easy and comfortable. Her knowledge is impressive and her demeanor is calm and sweet. She made sure that I understood everything and that I felt confident when drove it away. She made the pick up and drop off processes smooth and easy and shes so generous with her extra information.I will definitely be renting from Fireside again and I highly recommend them to everyone!! Thank you for helping make our family trip full of laughter and wonderful memories!

I have taken multiple Outdoorsy trips and have had great experiences. I love being able to fly into a new place, pick up a camper van and go explore where I want to without needing to get a rental car, hotel rooms and expensive meals. Having a camping vehicle gives me everything I need, and I can cook wherever I want to. Highly recommend!

I actually have two reviews: I give our host, Brendan Nelson 5 stars! His 28 ft. 5th wheel was delivered to the campsite and set up before we arrived from our flight into Rapid City, SD. He even put out an anchored outdoor rug and two rocking camp chairs. The RV was equipped with most everything needed. (my husband missed a toaster as he has peanut butter and toast every morning) :) We used both the heat for the cool nights and the air conditioning for the very warm 85-90 degree days. Communications with Brendan were very prompt via emails through the Outdoorsy app. He promptly picked up his RV after we left for the airport and adhered to the campgrounds delivery and check out times.I give Outdoorsy 4 stars due to their very lengthy response times via emails. This resulted in several emails back and forth to request an unnecessary charge being taken off the invoice as this request was sent to them before and during the rental period. The unnecessary charge was eventually refunded.

We had a great trip through Outdoorsy earlier this year in January. We were able to get a really cool, trickd out Ram Promaster that we picked up in St. Pete.Our Host did a fantastic job explaining everything about the rig and was always available via text if I had questions of any kind. He had done the build himself though, and made it extremely intuitive to operate the campervan. He also had some great recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed, like Mazarros Italian Market and the Dali Museum.We took the van from St. Pete to Crystal Springs to spend time on the water and rowing with manatees which was a really neat experience for someone not from the FL area. From there we took it to Orlando for Epcot and Harry Potter World and stayed at the Camp Wilderness campground.We had no problems with the van whatsoever, and everything worked flawlessly. It was very comfortable to stay in, easy to maneuver, and a great value compared to staying in hotels and renting a car.10/10 would definitely take another Outdoorsy trip!

My family was heading to visit my parents for Labor day but my parents house is full and the nearest hotel is 40 minutes out. Then an idea hit us! We rented an RV. We dont have a tow vehicle so we paid a little extra to have the RVs owner bring it out and set it up for us on my parents property. It was awesome. The one we rented had a king sized bed and en suite. There were 3 beds for my grown boys and a half bath for them. The kitchen had high end finishes and there was a full sized fridge. We didnt use it but the RV also had a stacked washer /dryer. Also not used, the RV had an outdoor kitchen, TV, carpet, and furniture to use under a lovely awning. We had an absolute blast and all our extended family loved coming to visit.Will definitely do this again!

Growing up, my parents used to take us on road trips all the time. Wed pile in the van and head off on our adventure. Outdoorsy has helped to keep the tradition alive with my family now. We have taken several trips over the past few years. Its been a great way to travel and see the country, be close with the family and keep it economical.

Using Outdoorsy we found the best RV for a weekend camping trip! I loved how easy it was to use the site to search for the amenities we wanted in our RV. Once we found the perfect rig, pick up was super easy with the Host. The RV was super comfortable and fun to cook in and watch the stars at night. Cant wait to rent another RV on Outdoorsy!

Rented a Ford Bronco from Jackie in Las Vagas, for a dad & daughter trip to the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, Zion National Park National Park in Utah and Lake Powell. Not only was the trip a fantastic adventure but the Bronco was perfect and service from Jackie and Outdoorsy was exceptional. The Bronco was outfitted with everything we needed, bedding, cookware, portable freezer, and water. Jackie was the perfect solution for our needs for the trip.

Ive used Outdoorsy many times, both as a host and a guest, and I cant recommend them enough! The platform is incredibly easy to use, and their customer support is truly world-class.One of my favorite memories was a family RV trip I took with my sister while I was pregnant. Camping made simple, when using outdoorsy. James rental was fully stocked and were told any thing in the camper was free to use. The two great things he provided was a thick form mattress pad that was so comfortable, and a water filter system. James arrived ahead of schedule and was basically all set up for us on arrival. All we had to do was bring in clothes and groceries!

I had an RV rental reserved, but due to unforseen and unavoidable circumstances, the host had to cancel 1 week before I was to use the camper. The Outdoorsy.com customer service was awesome. They worked with me over the course of 3 days with me changing my mind several times and all to make sure I was happy. In the end they were able to help locate a new rental for me, and I was more than satisfied! Everyone I worked with during this experience was professional and understanding! You can ask for better service. And for that, I would recommend and use them over and over again!

This was an experiment for us we havent been ring like this. Josh was the right host for us.He is very knowledgeable about his rv. We had a safe trip to Nashville in some windy conditions. This RV performed perfectly and was comfortable to drive 9 hrs. Our pet Bailey became right at home in a short time. Everything in the Rv worked just as it was discussed . This is a start for us in RVs with a great host and RV that we throughly enjoyed.Thanks Cindy Gary and Bailey

We rented a medium/large sized camper van which was perfect. It had everything you needed. Plus, all the camper van sites had there own showers and bathrooms. Anyway, Anna was an amazing host and she had all the information we needed for our journey through Scotland. She even helped us get an Uber back to the airport after our trip. If you are looking for the best time in Alaska, look no further than Jeb. We were able to travel all around the Kenai Peninsula and see some amazing sites. It was super convenient to be able to stop at any campground and to have your own toilet. It rained for most of our trip and it was super nice to be able to hang out and stay warm in Jeb. Jeb’s parents were easy to work with and made sure we had every accommodation available. Check in and check out was a breeze. We have visited Alaska over 10 times and this trip was one of the best mostly because of the convenience of Jeb! We highly recommend!

We rented a van using Outdoorsy website for our first camping trip. We have 3 dogs and we wanted to take them on mini vacay and pet friendly hotels charge a lot for 3 dogs. The pick up was great the hosts set us up and we were ready to go. We drove like 2 hours outside of Austin and it was a great trip for the whole family.

We took our rental RV, “TJ”, on a week-long road trip through the Cariboo, Okanagan, Monashee, Selkirk and Rockies. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and ensured we felt confident and well informed before, during, and at the end of the rental. We had an amazing experience traveling in this camper van! Loren was great to work with- very responsive to questions, very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and very pleasant to work with. The camper van was great- I used a CPAP all night, charged multiple devices and ran the heater all night with no problem with the battery with the inverter. The composting toilet worked great, letting us camp on our own on BLM land and federal roads. The van is easy to drive and maneuver, the bed was super comfortable, and the stove top, pans provided and refrigerator worked great. Couldn’t be happier with this van and Loren! This was our first experience with any kind of RV or camper van and we are hooked!

My only suggestion would be to call the person you are renting from to confirm details not just the app. I found my last rental group was not seeing my messages and we had a few hiccups. This was my first RV experience and overall it was pretty great. Eddie was very thorough and patient with me during the walk through. It was a brand new (2025) van and I was a bit nervous about it. He provided laminated sheets with QRS codes to access short how to videos from dumping to furnace operation. Communication with him before and during the trip couldnt have been better, texts were answered immediately. The van drives like a dream and just sips gas. Everything listed worked as it should. The AC did a great job with the windows covered and the rear bathroom closed off. I did have to borrow a water pressure regulator from the park office, pressure was really high. I was actually the first person to get to rent this beautiful van. I did not have a shaded or concrete site. It was hot and rained one day. I would have loved an awning.

Best camper rental site there is! And this is coming from someone who has tried and tested all the rental sites. We have finally eliminated all other sites and do business only with Outdoorsy. Best customer service, best follow through, best app (it can be a bit glitchy) but it’s set up to be very user friendly. It mimics the airbnb app (best home rental app there is) which is very helpful to us vacation rental owners. If you’re listing your camper / RV, do yourself a favor and zero in on this app alone. Don’t bother juggling them all it’s not worth your time, patience or $$. That’s right, when it comes to $$ all the other sites will take more. In hidden costs!! Beware! All you need is right here! And I’ve been in the vacation rental industry for 17+ years. Thank you Outdoorsy for continuing to improve, and for caring about feedback from your customers (has got better,and better in the last 3 years) and for advertising more and more (getting your name out there means getting my name out there) Please keep hiring intelligent, creative and friendly employees. Even from the start, in a business-as-usual context, they bent over backwards to make our rental experience simple, straightforward, and first-rate in every way. Later, despite their own absolutely catastrophic situation with Hurricane Helene, they prioritized ensuring that we were taken care of. I cannot praise Michelle and Eddie enough. If you do business with them, you can count on being well treated and you will enjoy just the opportunity to interact with them as kind, good people. Outdoorsy likewise went above and beyond to treat us well from beginning to end in what turned out to be highly unusual circumstances. This is a terrific company that deserves your business.

I appreciated the attention to detail and the extras that they provided! My husband and I rented a camper van from Dan - The River Run 2021 Ram 3500 High Roof. We had a great experience all the way around. Dan was a great host and communicator. We picked up and turned in the van without any problem and Dan spent lots of time making sure we knew how everything worked. We had a great trip and the van performed wonderfully. It was comfy and exceeded our expectations. Well definitely be back!

The camper van we rented has multiple complex systems not all of which are very intuitive. Also, the fresh water tank will likely be inadequate if your trip is more than an overnight. But the service was excellent, and the convenience over tent camping was worth the cost.

I am leaving a review for SanDmanAdventureTruck, San Diego, California the Jeep Truck of Joshua. We are SO happy we found Joshua’s Jeep Truck on Outdoorsy! This was our first time using Outdoorsy and Joshua and his partner Gabby, made it all such a positive experience.I initially messaged Joshua through Outdoorsy and informed him that me and my boyfriend wanted to go to Coachella and thought that his Jeep Truck would be great for camping. He responded quickly and with out hesitation was willing to get on the phone with us to answer all of our questions. Booking the Jeep Truck was also easy and all went smoothly.The day we picked up Joshua’s Jeep Truck he was on time, the truck was flawless, and he showed us how to use all the equipment that came with his truck. Everything was so clean and perfect for camping. He went above and beyond to provide us with all the items necessary for camping.During our trip at Coachella, the rooftop tent was very comfortable and easy to use. My boyfriend and I would sleep through the whole night, kept us warm, and it was spacious for both of us. We used the portable shower daily and it made our experience very pleasant. It was also a very smooth car ride the whole time. When we returned the vehicle it was also great. Joshua is very attentive, understanding, and respectful.We wanted to leave a long and descriptive review because Joshua and his Jeep Truck made our Coachella experience 100x better! We felt very comfortable renting Joshua’s Jeep Truck, it felt personal and we couldn’t be more thankful for the memories that we have with it! My review is for Outdoorsy itself and not the rental per se, I booked for the first time several months ago for a delivery set up unit, things were great until 2 days before my trip, the owner cancelled my reservation without warning and deleted their account with Outdoorsy leaving me without a unit for a girls camping trip where 3 others would be staying with me. Outdoorsy immediately credited my account and they started assisting me with finding a replacement. I did find another unit to rent, but it was a class C that I had to pick up and drive, it was almost $1000 more than the one I had previously booked, but had little choice when my trip was only 2 days away. Outdoorsy then without me asking, gave me a courtesy credit for almost $700 of the addition charges. This was not their fault, but they really stepped up. Also, during the rebooking I was inadvertently charged twice for the new unit before the credit, and only discovered upon reviewing my credit card statement. I contacted Outdoorsy via their chat and was connected with a human and then transferred to a supervisor. Their review concluded I was correct and had been double charged, they immediately credited my cc back for the duplicate charge.My experience with the place I rented from was good, no issues, nice motor home, but the really impressive thing for me was the exceptional customer service from Outdoorsy. I absolutely will use them in the future knowing that they are great to partner with! Well Done.

We want to thank Brian of Four Tens LLC for sharing his 2022 Thor Tranquility Diesel Sprinter Van with us this past weekend through Outdoorsy. We had an amazing time! Brian was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end and made himself readily available throughout. The Van was incredible to drive. Agile, great turning radius, powerful and such a smooth ride. It got us wherever we wanted to go deep into the Sycamore canyon and Sedona areas of AZ. The inside needs a few tweaks, but Brain is working on them. We highly recommend Brian & Four Tens LLC fount at Outdoorsy if you are looking to rent a Campervan for your next AZ adventure. You wont regret it.

We used Outdoorsy to rent a campervan for 2 weeks for our 25th anniversary trip to California. The app was relatively easy to use. Just pay attention to the driver validation once you’re actually booked as it took a couple of times to successfully add an additional driver to the rental. Support was helpful in getting that accomplished. Otherwise, we had a great experience and the campervan we rented was exactly as described on the site and the owner was awesome to deal with.

I have booked vehicles twice now for 10+ day trips involving 2,000 miles of travel and camping. Outdoorsy provided more than ample selections and then made booking and communicating with hosts very easy. Never experienced a glitch or problem of any kind. All the booking logistics were simple and easy to accomplish. And both hosts were super nice. I have told several friends about Outdoorsy and recommend it heartily.

We rented a Class C motorhome thru Outdoorsy and had a wonderful experience. The motorhome was even better than advertised, and the owners were great to work with. We learned from them there are certain standards set in place for them by the CDC (COVID protection) and by Outdoorsy (like professional inspections) to ensure our safety and rental experience. Good communications all around - we were very satisfied with our trip!

Were a family of five holidaying California for the first time; it was also our first time in an RV and we loved it! Having looked at hiring RVs from the larger companies in the US, I chose Outdoorsy for its simplicity and similarity to Airbnb. What a great trip. We loved this 2019 Thor Chateau Bunkhouse RV and would definitely rent it again. it was very easy to drive which made the trip down the OR Coast enjoyable. Andrew was very accommodating and helpful. I was thankful that we walked us through everything, and as a first time driver he eased my nerves. There were 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and a dog all traveling together for 5 days. We each had our own bed and when the 2 slides were out we had a good amount of room. Everything was clean and easy to use. I highly recommend others renting this awesome RV from Andrew.

We rented a 5th wheel trailer from Peter and couldn’t be happier. We rented for a family reunion and it worked out great.I wasn’t there when Peter arrived and set up the trailer so he went over everything with my wife’s aunt. We rented Roger Majors 2019 Keystone Hideout and had it delivered to Sleeper State Park. It was a beautiful, exceptionally clean RV with comfortable beds (yes, the bunk beds are comfy!) and a wonderful stash of supplies. It made our first family camping trip tremendously easier with so much that we *didnt* have to pack - chairs, cookware and coffee maker, firestarter/lighters, games, towels, garbage bags and an extra large garbage bin, plenty of tp and paper towel. Even the supplied comforters were soft and lovely. Would happily rent from Roger through Outdoorsy again.

You are AWESOME! I couldnt even imagine, that it would be done this way! My host cancelled RV 7 days before the trip got to start, which is for 17 days and 3500 miles! So we have been planning time, schedule, booking campgrounds and etc long in advance. So that was a hit, cause we had a range of necessary requirements PLUS the price!You helped find alternatives, checked availability, negotiated the hosts, DEPOSITED 1500 usd to cover additional costs and been in touch since early morning until 10:30 in the night until the problem was solved.Please accept my cordial gratitude to Shy, Maddie and Sam and any other agents involved! Our experience was something we will never forget. Words cannot express how much we loved the trailer but more so our host. We ended up in an unexpected situation and Ryan was so helpful, kind, caring, understanding , loving and truly a one of a kind human. One of the best experiences for a vacay that Ive ever had. Never traveled this way and wow what fun we had. Mark and Julia had a professional journal with instructions and photos and a step by step list of instructional videos that definitely came in handy. They were very helpful when I called them asking questions and resolving my issue. I would definitely rent again but better than that I think Im going to buy one of my own and do what they do. We booked a beautiful 2015 Keystone, Springdale trailer for a week. Carey wasnt kidding when she said it was fully stocked. We didnt need to take anything except our personal items. When we use her next year our packing will be so much less. She even had a keurig machine, with the keurig cups, snacks, water in the fridge, a welcome card with information on the trailer and she responding right away with a text we had sent. I would 100% use her again and encourage others if you are looking for a trailer with a comfortable mattress and comfortable couch and chairs and fully loaded to rent from her.

We had a great vacation all because of this wonderful company. When we arrived RV was set up and ready to live in. Attention to detail is spot on, from cleanliness to outdoor camp rug, zero gravity chairs and twinkle lights. Communication was really good and they even came out and dumped our tanks as we chilled on the beach. On the last day all we had to do is pack and get on the road.
