We loved these little cottages. Great location in town. Perfect sized cottages. Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Only complaints would be the bright parking lot light above the bedroom windows, and the dryer didnt work well, but all in all, wed come back! -

Very nice accomodations. Clean, bright, beds comfortable. None of the sheets fit the beds, bathroom barn door falls off very easily, the swimming pool always looked milky, needed shock. PARKING was a joke. If you have more than 1 car and 1 golf cart, your guests cars will be towed off. Serious issues with parking. Also, no blow dryer furnished. -

We enjoyed our week long stay. It’s clean and has most of what you need. It’s within walking distance of lots of great restaurants. Our cottage was adjacent to Salty Dog, which got very loud at night and kept the light sleepers up. If we stay here again, I will try to get on the side with cottages 5-8 instead of 1-4, so we aren’t next to Salty Dog. We were in cottage 4, which was the only one that didn’t have a rinse-off shower outside, which seemed weird.Silver Sands was between TV services. We were able to watch a guest Netflix account in the living room and the master bedroom, but it wasn’t working in the bunk bedroom. But we couldn’t watch the news in the mornings/evenings. Basic TV service is something you can get at a cheap hotel.I do wish that during a longer stay, they would provide additional toilet paper, hand soap, and dish soap than they did. We were there for a week, so we had to buy our own.The barn door in the master bedroom going into the bathroom is finicky and often doesn’t stay completely closed. Another reviewer posted that the sheets don’t fit. They used flat sheets instead of fitted, so they didn’t stay out.But the beds and other furniture were comfortable. There was plenty of storage for us to put our food and clothing. -

We stayed in cottage 4. This was the only downstairs cottage without an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. It’s also adjacent to the Salty Dog bar which gets rowdy at night. You see headlights and hear cars. The kids room needed to have the rug replaced but overall we’d stay again. It was clean, spacious and centrally located. Bring your own big pot/pan if you intend to cook for a crowd. -

Overall we had a great visit here. Silver Sands does have great pre-trip communication and made it very easy to sign documents and upload info via their website, emails and text messages. We spent 3 nights in unit 18. It has the feeling of a beach cottage. Very clean. Plenty of amenities for a 3 day stay. Kitchen well appointed. Beds very comfortable. A few small things during stay that need attention which we did text management about but did not receive a reply. The WiFi is very slow. TV is dependent on WiFi as they do not have cable or satellite. You can try to stream spectrum, but doesn’t work well. We did see roaches in the unit everyday. This complex is directly on Alister street, so you can walk to just about everything in town or use the included cart which was great. Do expect some street noise, especially on the upstairs units that are above shops and face the street.Finally- a note about the layout of the complex, which I couldn’t find a lot of info about.Units 1-4 back up to Salty Dog Saloon. Didn’t hear any music during our visit (Sunday-Wednesday)Units 5-8 next to parking lotUnits 9-13 back of property. Farthest from Main Street.Units 14-18 upstairs above retail shops on Alister street. -

Nice, new condos in Port A but kind of tight on space. Get sheets that actually fit the mattresses and put up hooks inside and outside to hang wet towels.where do they expect you to dry bath and beach towels!! -
